Stayed here as part of a group of wildlife photographers and, have been here before, so I can vouch for the consistency of the comfort and food. |On this occasion, I stayed in one of the “cabins” behind the main house and found it to be excellent. A very spacious room with a spacious en-suite. Contemporarily furnished, very comfortable bed and linen, good free wi-fi and TV. The en-suite was spotless and had a large walk in shower. |Breakfast here is fresh and plentiful with good choices. |I have stayed here before and would stay here again: highly recommended.

Fantastic 3 nights staying in Ravenscraig guest house. Scott and Helena are great hosts, giving wonderful ideas for dog friendly hikes and restaurants. Nice touch being able to choose breakfast from the menu in the morning. |They were brilliant with our two small dogs 🐶

Really impressed. Comfortable room. They have a few out back that are dog friendly, but the main house is not. We could come with our dog and a friend who is allergic can stay in the main building. Locally sourced salmon for the breakfast included in the room cost was superb. Friendly, helpful staff. We will return.

Fantastic accommodation with location close to pubs and restaurants for evening meals and drinks. Super friendly welcome from Helena and all morning staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast was superb. Great location if cycling in the area with secure bike lock up facility. Would definitely stay again if back up in Aviemore

We stayed here for one night during our road trip around the Highlands and absolutely loved it. Scott gave us a warm welcome on arrival, and we even got to meet Millie, the lovely 19yr old cat! Our room was cosy, clean, and very comfortable—perfect after a long day of exploring. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, with a great variety of options and everything we tried was delicious. The staff were all incredibly friendly, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. Thank you, Scott, for your hospitality—we really appreciated it! I’d definitely recommend this B&B to anyone travelling through the Highlands.

Every so often you find a guesthouse/B&B that just seems perfect in every way ie friendliness of hosts, food, cleanliness, tasteful decor etc etc. This is one of those places. It was our second time staying there within 4 days as we had a 4 day trek in between. It was so lovely to come back to, almost like coming back home. Thank you so much Scott amd Helena. You've got a real little gem of a business there

Lovely family run Guest House. Excellent amenities for cyclists and the general public alike. Very good breakfast served by friendly staff. We have stayed here for the last ten years. At first under the previous owners but now under the present owners. The standard set by the previous owners has been maintained, not an easy task. Very well done.

Yelp
Very nice accommodation with modern rooms and very good breakfast. The owners changed in December 17 (I don't know the previous) and are really friendly, welcoming, warm-hearted people. A family with a cat. Would come here for a second stay.

Yelp
Pretty much regulars here now when me and the Man come up here. 1) I love the poached eggs with bacon on muffins for breakfast OR 2) the full scottish if I'm feeling rather peckish! 3) The Back cabins are my first choice - no creeky floor boards and a really spacious bathroom. The Staff are super friendly and helpful. if you need help they are more or less easy to get hold of. The back cabins are nice and private. Pretty cosy too. The house is decorated with stunning photographs and artwork of wildlife - always something new that destracts me! It's good value for money and I will be back soon too - oooh it's pretty close walking distance to shops etc!

Yelp
We've stayed a couple of times at Ravenscraig while visiting family who live in Aviemore and on both occasions we've received a very warm welcome from Jonathan. We've just returned from our second stay for two nights and enjoyed it as much, if not more, than our first! Our first stay was in one of the chalets at the back of the property which are probably a little more spacious than one of the front bedrooms we stayed in this time around, but never-the-less, both rooms and en-suites are stylishly decorated, very comfortable, well equipped and very clean. The plus to staying in a room (No.5) at the front of the house is that you get a wonderful view of the Cairngorm Mountains a real treat as the sun sets and also again when you open the blinds first thing in the morning! Beds are not as firm as we'd prefer (personal preference I'm sure many like a slightly softer mattress would have no problem at all), but still comfortable and the bedlinen is good quality which all goes a long way towards a very good night's sleep and a restful stay. Breakfast offers a wide choice great range of cereals, fresh fruit, fruit salad, white & wholemeal toast and Jonathan's homemade marmelade try it, it's truly delicious! We also tried the delicious (and none greasy) full traditional Scottish breakfast (with plenty of flexibility to accomodate all diets and tastes!), Poached eggs (eggs not laid by the chickens in the outside pen, but we were confidently assured were local & free range) and smoked salmon on muffins (a lovely, tasty way to start the day!), alternatively the homemade porridge with berry fruit compote, seeds, honey or plain is also a real treat and will certainly set you up for a day's exploring and activity! The lounge with it's open fire (lit in the colder months), cosy rugs, antique style furniture, plus welcoming resident cat Milly(!), make for a great place to relax and chill out either after breakfast or after a day's skiing, hiking or cycling! Overall a very welcoming place to stay in a charming traditional style house which is very restful and relaxing with delicious breakfasts. You couldn't wish for anymore from a B&B!
