One of the most amazing culinary experiment of our life. Each dish is cleverly think and executed. Presentation is amazing, colorful and elegant. Never tested before flavors and ingredients. People are amazingly nice, good Smile, good explanations. Definitely a must try if you come to Helsinki !!

Almost half a year has passed since we visited this restaurant but since I initially forgot to review it I need to do it now. I think it is a testament to this place that I still think about it regularly. Everything about this place is perfect. No other rating than a perfect 5 stars can make justice to how beautiful everything about this place is. I think this is the place you should come to if you want to experience Finnish food in its most organic and natural form. If you read the other comments you know that the place has a very unique idea. They also execute it stunningly. We visited the place in November when Finland is supposed to be a frozen land and provide no natural ingredients. On the contrary, the dinner was mouthwateringly good. The place is small and cozy, and customer service couldn’t get any better. This is still my best or second best restaurant experience ever.

We just walked in here and glad we did. The food was great and only served Finnish ingredients and drinks. The service was top notch. We went for the 4 course meal which was really 6. Everything was good

What a thoughtful and delicious meal that kept our senses at attention and ready for more Finnish tastes, over six appropriately sized courses. Ravintola Skord is a fantastic farm to table concept where every item is prepared with only Finnish ingredients that are either wild (hunted, caught or foraged) or grown outside. Salt is the only non-Finnish ingredient used in anything served including the wine pairings. Janne was our server and the perfect host. He provided informative and interesting stories about each dish including helping us understand ingredients in dishes that were not familiar to us. This is a must visit restaurant when visiting Helsinki and I look forward to coming back again.

A nice small, cosy restaurant. We made a reservation but at least on the day we went (Monday evening), it seemed like some walk-in were possible. The food was exceptional. Highly recommend it. For two people, it is quite good to select one 6 course and one 4 course menu and to share the extras received on the 6 course. Although if sufficiently hungry, 6 courses works out well. The soup, mains, and parsnip dessert were certainly the highlights. Would love to return here one day...

What an absolute delight and amazing experience. Everyone who works here really lives for the concept and ideas of this restaurant. It's farm to table - and it's Finnish cuisine. I cannot emphasise how much of a highlight this was for me in Helsinki. Everything is local and seasonal - the menu changes accordingly. We did take the 6 course menu and we were beyond happy we did. The berry wine was a huge surprise and I will definitely explore this more after the experience at Skörd. Thanks for making it such an incredible evening!

This is what you want! Take your time (no choice there, it's a "restaurant experience" pace). The courses are all meticulously put together. Not every dish reaches ethereal technical level, but they're all done with solid craft and good flavour combinations. The Berry wines and local drinks fare quite well, especially when matched. The service is so friendly, you'll wonder if you've all met before somewhere. Be warned if hard seating for 150 minutes is an issue for you. Bring a cushion. I was taken back to detention at school...and that was medieval. But it's a great little experience of what goes on in Finland, when you care about what you eat. Expect to spend €90-150 per person, depending on what you drink.

Tried the 6-meal course accompanied with a variety of excellent berry wines. An excellent culinary experience with great flavors in every plate. The only thing that bothered me slightly was the fact that the cutlery was on the table touching it directly and not on a napkin first. But that was just something minor for me. Really worth the visit though!
