Rawat Misthan Bhandar is one of the most iconic spots in Jaipur for local snacks and sweets. The taste truly lives up to its reputation—especially the famous pyaaz kachori, which is crisp, flavorful, and served fresh. Their sweets like mawa kachori and ghewar are also delicious and a must-try if you have a sweet tooth. However, while the food quality and taste are excellent, the hygiene leaves much to be desired. You may notice flies hovering around and even sitting on some food items displayed in the open, which can be quite off-putting. The place is always bustling, and service is quick, but a bit more attention to cleanliness would take the experience to the next level. Overall, great for the authentic Jaipur snack experience—but be mindful of hygiene if you're particular about it.

Very old and famous shop in Jaipur especially fir Kachori . I also tried Pyaaz and Daal Kachori . Taste was good but not out standing. As in north India we do have many similar options like that . Khasta , Bedai etc are available in different shapes and sizes . Quality and Quantity is good at Rawat . And this is the main reason for his popularity. Although having many varieties of sweets and bakery is available. But people especially remember him for Kachori and Ghewar .

One of the Best Pyaaz Kachoris Ever! Absolutely loved the pyaaz kachori – one of the best I’ve ever had! The sweet shop offers a great variety of items to choose from. The owners are humble and helpful, even suggesting their best sellers. There’s also an air-conditioned seating area on the first floor of the restaurant, which made the experience even more comfortable. Perfect spot for a quick and satisfying bite. Highly recommended!

Hi on 24th June I have purchased sweets from Rawat Misthan Bhandar at jaipur airport from Adani launge and I have asked the staff about the quality and they said it's fresh and can be kept for 2 more days. When I came back i saw the sweets which got infected and fully covered by fungus. Rquesting you to plz return the bill amount and make sure about the quality and trust which you have build with us.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience. The pizza served was burnt and stale, showing a clear lack of care in food preparation. Such poor quality not only ruined the meal but also raises serious concerns about the restaurant’s attention to health and hygiene standards. Serving burnt, stale food suggests negligence towards customer well-being. I cannot recommend this place to anyone who values fresh, safe, and properly cooked food.

Heard a lot about Rawat Misthan Bhandar being the spot for pyaaz kachori in Jaipur but honestly, it didn't live up to the hype. The kachori was oily and lacked that authentic zing you expect. What's more disappointing? No chutney served with it! Who serves kachori without chutney? The staff wasn't helpful either when asked. This place feels like it's riding on old fame and tourist buzz. Definitely better options in Jaipur if you're here for real taste, not just big names.

🥟 Rawat Misthan Bhandar, Jaipur – A Legacy of Kachoris & Sweets One of Jaipur’s most iconic food joints, Rawat Misthan Bhandar is almost a rite of passage for anyone looking to try the city’s famous pyaaz kachori, mirchi vada, or traditional sweets like ghewar and mawa kachori. ________________________________________ ✅ What’s Good: • Famous Pyaaz & Aloo Kachori: Crisp on the outside, stuffed generously, and fried fresh. While some find the flavor unforgettable, others feel it's just average or overly oily. • Huge Variety: From sweets to namkeen, snacks to bakery items—there’s something for everyone. • Crowd Favorite: Always bustling with both locals and tourists, which speaks to its popularity. • Mirchi Vada: Surprisingly well-liked for its distinct filling and taste. • Air-Conditioned Seating Upstairs: Makes for a more relaxed experience (though limited and often crowded). ________________________________________ ⚠️ Mixed Experiences: • Inconsistent Taste: While many rave about the kachoris, others found them too sour, too oily, or lacking flavor. The lack of chutney with the kachori has been a common complaint. • Hygiene Concerns: Flies near open counters and stale items (like pizza) were mentioned, raising questions about overall cleanliness. • Overhyped and Costly place: A common thread among reviewers—great reputation, but may not always meet sky-high expectations. • Service Varies: Staff can be courteous and helpful or indifferent and unresponsive depending on the crowd. ________________________________________ 📍 What to Try (Top Picks): • 🥟 Aloo-Pyaaz Kachori – Signature item, crispy and filling • 🌶️ Mirchi Vada – Spicy snack with a twist • 🍬 Mawa Kachori & Ghewar – Must-try traditional Rajasthani sweets • 🥛 Lassi – Refreshing, especially in summer ________________________________________ 💸 Other Notes: • No proper sitting area at ground level—standing counters only unless you go upstairs. • Slightly more expensive than other local shops, likely due to its brand name. • Parking can be difficult during peak hours. ________________________________________ 🧾 Verdict: Rawat Misthan Bhandar is a heritage snack spot in Jaipur, famous for its kachoris and sweets—but it’s not without flaws. While loyal fans swear by its unique flavors, others may find it overrated or inconsistent in both taste and service. “Visit it for the legacy, but keep your expectations grounded. Try the best-sellers, skip the experiments.”

RMB has the best pyaz kachori, seriously. It's 50 rupees for a pyaz kachori and 45 for a daal kachori. And for Ghevar; They only have 3 kinds: plain, Rabri, and meetha. Here's how much they cost: Plain Ghevar: 1150 (per kg) Meetha Ghevar: 925 (per kg) Rabri Ghevar: 975 (per kg) They don't do mini versions or 500g ones. And rest They sell it as usual similar to other Mithai shops.
