Rawi Warin Resort & Spa

This is a really lovely hotel on the amazing island of Koh Lanta which really stole our hearts. The hotel is in beautiful grounds and the rooms are spacious with lovely bathrooms and a great shower which for our pond view room meant we had a view of the sea and we were close to the breakfast area, beach and pool. The beach is great with nice loungers and clean, clear water. The pool area was great too with a small slide for kids. The children enjoyed the ocean pool set up too and spent hours jumping off the end and playing in the warm water. The bedding was crisp and luxurious and we all slept well. I was particularly grateful that for four of us we had two double beds and a single bed meaning the children did not argue about having to share! Breakfast was a bit of a free for all with no real service to speak off but the food was varied and nice. As has been said before its a real shame the prices to eat and drink are so much more expensive in the hotel than elsewhere locally so I can't really comment on the quality. We enjoyed heading out to beach bars and restaurants 10 minutes walk down the beach and also had some lovely meals at Shanti Beach house and Coco Tango which both have lovely views and are only a very short taxi ride away. We also visited the night market at Sala Dan which was a fun experience both for eating and shopping. We hired a bike with a side car from the car hire place opposite the hotel and also utilised their laundry services. We truly loved Koh Lanta and it was great to explore, eat, shop, sunbathe and get massages. We hope to be back one day! Prices varied a lot for this hotel on different sites however we feel by coming early we got the best price via Travel republic and the hotel could not better it by booking direct.

We went on a round trip through Thailand, and out of all five hotels we stayed at, this one was by far the best. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was simply perfect.||The breakfast buffet is excellent, and the food in general is delicious and of high quality. The rooms are very clean, modern, and offer a stunning view of the ocean. We felt completely comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay.||The location is an absolute dream: a beautiful, peaceful beach right at your doorstep, perfect for snorkeling and relaxing. The pool and the entire hotel grounds are also kept at a very high standard.||One special highlight is the staff – professional, friendly, and always attentive. A huge shoutout to the waiter Mee, who really stood out with his exceptional service.||We even got to experience something truly magical: I received a marriage proposal, and the hotel organized a private dinner on the beach just for us. It was breathtakingly beautiful and will stay in my heart forever.||Another unique and fun aspect of staying here – we had visits from monkeys right at the hotel, and even spotted monitor lizards by the pond. It really added to the feeling of being in a tropical paradise.||This hotel is a hidden gem – we will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful resort in a fabulous location. The staff working here were absolutely incredible. We rented a villa for 4 nights which was beautiful and had a nice view. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was a large gap between the sliding glass doors to the patio, which we discovered was the perfect size for large insects to enter our room which was the only downside. The resort itself has steep roads which make it difficult to walk. However, staff provide very prompt shuttle services to help guests navigate the property. Pool was clean and very large. This hotel appeared to have lots of families which wasn't as enjoyable for us as a couple, but that's okay. We loved the staff, and found our stay really nice!

When we first arrived we were given beautiful garlands for our wrists, a cold flannel and a cup of some Thai tea. It was a lovely touch. Our first room was 3 flights of stairs up. I can’t keep climbing these stairs but they changed our room very quickly. They don’t like you to open your balcony doors cause of the monkeys that are around resort. |The beach is a few yards away and has sunbeds , parasol and towels available. Drinks and food are also available from the pool bar. Excellent. |We had an excellent evening of bbq , music and fire show (extra cost of course) but it was well worth it. |Staff are so friendly and the hotel is spotless. Would love to spend more time here but moving on .

The hotel was quite aging but in a good shape and well maintained. Room and facilities are cleaned and massive for me to enjoy just staying in a hotel the whole day. There is no beach and the sea is not for swimming with lots of huge rocks. Staffs here are nice as a typical Thai however they talk loudly, mingle all the times, which is disturbing my peaceful time. So, if asked, I would not come back here coz nothing is worth memorable.

Superb breakfast cruisants are amazing crisp best western have had this trip staying in various hotels. Just one thing, having to take a blue card down to the swimming pool in order to obtain towels, is a bind, should be able to go and pick one up. Staff are fantastic so lovely.

We had an okay stay at Rawi Warin, though overall it felt closer to a 4-star experience rather than a true 5-star. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety, and the gym was decent but somewhat outdated. However, our biggest disappointment was the room itself: quite worn and lacking charm, definitely not as appealing as the hotel pictures suggested. Our room was located at the top of the resort, meaning we had to climb multiple flights of stairs—it felt like quite a workout. Although the hotel offers buggy service, there are no elevators, something worth considering if you're traveling with small children or have mobility issues. Checkout was somewhat disorganized; we ended up waiting 40 minutes for our luggage. On the positive side, the pool area and beach were lovely, and the food was tasty, although slightly overpriced.

We were very impressed at Rawi Warin Resort & Spa. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The decor was beautiful and the sheets were spotless. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of choices. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay.
