Ray Caye Island Resort

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!😍😍😍We rented the entire island and brought tons of family and close friends and omg it’s literally like heaven on earth there🤩🤩😁😁!!We stayed for a whole week and just loved it! The food was delicious and has lots of options to choose from! The staff is so friendly and helpful! The kids had a great time at the pools and in the ocean. I just can’t explain how great our experience was! Definitely coming back again!!!!!!😍😍🤩🤩😁(and shout out to Florette! She is very kind and welcoming to everyone and made us feel welcome!😃)

When your family needs time to reset, experience nature and connect THIS IS THE PLACE. The once in a lifetime experiences we had this week were amazing; snorkeling with rays and sharks, fishing on the beach, getting to see a sunrise and sunset in one day, stargazing without light pollution and to top it off HELPING BABY TURTLES TO SEA!!! |The entire staff is genuine and kind. Freddy is an excellent host. Joram gave our boys great memories and served some great drinks. Eileen and KK made the most amazing fish burgers and chicken wings we have ever tasted. Lloyd kept the island impeccable and made fishing dreams happen. What I enjoyed most about them all was their down to earth and warm nature towards everyone who came by. They take pride in what they do and it shows. |I’m beyond thankful for the week we had here and I can’t say enough good things about getting the chance to experience island life.

We recently honeymooned at Ray Caye and it was a vacation we will never forget! They coordinated some of the tougher travel details for us, including a short flight from Belize City to Placencia and the boat ride out to the island. We didn't have to lift a finger. Upon arrival, it felt like there was always a staff member there for anything we needed, without being too overbearing. Even though it was technically the 'off season', the weather was perfect for us every day. We were able to scuba dive and snorkel, all easily arranged by the dive shop. We gave them a preferred day/time, and they made it happen! The food at the Lionfish Grill was amazing. Breakfast and Lunch stayed the same with several great options and the dinner menu changed every night. The staff working there learned our names almost immediately, and made coming in for mealtime enjoyable. Everyone on the island was super knowledgeable about all it had to offer, and it was fun getting to know several of the staff members and what they enjoyed doing when they were off shift. It was a perfect vacation for us, and I would recommend Ray Caye for a weeklong trip like a honeymoon or even for a quick couple day getaway. I hope to go back!

Ray Caye Island Resort was a little slice of heaven for us! My husband and I went for our 30th anniversary and stayed in the honeymoon suite, which I would highly recommend for its privacy and amazing view. We had our own private splash pool, and we were steps away from reclining by the ocean. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond to take care of us during our stay! The drinks and food were delish! The excursions were awesome! The best snorkeling I have ever experienced, and fishing was so fun, including catching a record-size barracuda. We could socialize as much as we wanted, but also enjoy some alone time. This definitely a five-star experience and worth every penny! Next time we're bringing friends and family!

We had an incredible time staying on the beautiful Ranguana Caye. The on-island team were amazing, going above and beyond to look after us - and serving up delicious Belizean food every meal. We stayed for 3 nights… and left with a lifetime of memories ❤️

The management of this resort needs to address the behavior of the front desk manager, who seems to be treating latin customers (like Guatemala , Honduras, Etc), with disrespect. It's noticeable that she provides better service to customers from other countries like the USA, which raises serious concerns about her attitude and professionalism.

Ray Caye is far more than just a beautiful island resort.||Yes, the island itself is immaculate. The bungalows are perfect, the food is delicious, and the island activities are outstanding. All of that is immediately obvious, even to the most casual guest.||But what makes Ray Caye truly exceptional goes far deeper than what you can see on the surface.||At the heart of the island is a dedicated and close-knit staff — many of whom have been with the resort for over a decade. What you need to understand is that when you visit Ray Caye, you’re not just a guest. For the brief time you’re there, you’re welcomed like family.||That’s what sets this place apart.||If you’re looking for an absolutely beautiful, peaceful place to relax… maybe have a little adventure out on the reef… and possibly even make lifelong friends with the incredible people who call this island home — Ray Caye is exactly where you want to be.

This place is a true gem, one of the absolute BEST vacations i've been on. My Mom and I stayed here for 6 nights and its was a dream. The staff were warm, very attentive, treated us like queens and answered all of our many questions about the island. Grateful for such a kind reception from the moment we stepped off the boat, thank you to: Freddie, John, Francisco/Where-O, Aileen, KayKay and France, you all made our stay absolutely fantastic and we can't wait to come back. The food was delicious and plentiful, the drinks were divine, the cabana was clean and with the most amazing view. They take such good care of the grounds, raking the sand everyday and we didnt get a single bug bite! Boat ride to and from the island with our captain, Evel, was also top notch. The staff (Where-O!) made us a bonfire on the beach for our last night and it was such a memorable time looking up at the stars and with the waves lapping at the shore. We were sad to leave but can't wait to return. Highly recommend!
