Ray Quán

Very loud when the train comes past, so not my cup of tea. But a lot of Vietnamese craft wines (plum, green pepper). And the owner is really very nice and friendly, reminds me of my mum. I have already been back a few times.

As a 20 year veteran of the city, this is absolutely one of my favorite places for all the right reasons. Crazy unique food, recommend the smoked duck Crazy unique drinks, they have infused traditional liqours that run from kumquat to chilli Crazy unique location, trains running past your face just as they leave the station Crazy unique owners, who are all about the love. This is the place I bring people who visit, Vietnamese business clients, and those looking for an experience. Absolute winner.

Ray Quán never disappoints. The food is flavorful and nicely presented, and the drinks are well-crafted with a lot of variety. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable — perfect for both small gatherings and solo chill nights. Definitely worth coming back!

Cool place with interesting fusion sharing plates. We didn’t love the fried fish roles… the stuffing was unusual and lacked the quintessential Vietnamese aromatic herbs. The stuffed squid was better, really well-cooked but the stuffing could have been more interesting. The smoked duck was a stand out…. Luscious and super tasty. Enjoyed the rice wine. The prices are quite dear but unfortunately they do take credit card.

You might walk right past this place and never think twice but you would be making a big mistake. Maybe this block along the train track doesn’t have all the glitzy neon lights but who cares. The food is delicious. We came back twice for the smoked duck,we also tried the dim sum, pan fried duck and the Hanoi rolls which are basically spring rolls with some pork. 5 stars for all of it. AND you can watch the trains without the huge crowds and people trying to sell you souvenirs or clean your shoes every 5 minutes. Great beer too!

If you want to experience drinking in a pub in a totally different way then you should visit the Ray Quan Pub located in Hanoi, Vietnam. It is located so close to the railway track that when you sip in either a beer or whiskey or anything drink and you suddenly see the train very nearby, then it means a whole new different world all together. It has very small seating capacity. But even then it is a once in a lifetime experience for all of you that are planning to visit Hanoi and want to have some drinks. From food and drinking perspective as well they have authentic Vietnamese cuisines along with the their local craft beers and lots more. It is a must visit place.

Great spot for food and drinks! Ray Quán has a cozy vibe, friendly staff, and a solid menu. The food is tasty and well-priced, and the cocktails are creative and well-made. Perfect place to chill with friends after work or on the weekend. Highly recommended!

Missed the train by a few steps…. But we dashed in right after the train passed. Great service, special cocktails Basil Smash and some bites. Recommend for a drink while waiting for a train to pass by.
