We recently went on the Desert Safari in Dubai with Rayna Tours, and overall, the experience was enjoyable. Our driver was exceptional—very skilled, experienced, and made the journey comfortable and safe. His professionalism truly stood out and added great value to the trip.
There are, however, a few areas that could be improved. The camel ride, which was advertised as part of the experience, lasted less than a minute. It felt more like getting on and off the camel rather than an actual ride, so it would be great if the duration could be extended to make it more meaningful.
For sandboarding, we were a group of five, yet we were only provided with two boards and a very small piece of wax. Unfortunately, the wax wasn’t sufficient, so the boards didn’t slide properly. This made the activity inconvenient and less enjoyable for the entire group.
On a positive note, the dinner buffet offered delicious food with plenty of variety. However, the organisation could be better. When the buffet opened, everyone rushed at the same time, with no order or queueing system, which created a chaotic experience. I personally chose to wait rather than stand in the crowd.
Despite these issues, we still had a good time, and with a few adjustments—mainly improving organisation and enhancing the included activities—Rayna’s Desert Safari could be even better.
