The front desk girl tried to be helpful but none of the TVs worked in any of the 5 rooms our family were in. The AC was "weak" and barely kept the rooms cool. The rooms are inexpensive and Pub Street is just outside the front door. The front desk staff tries to be helpful but they have limited resources available at their disposal.

Have stayed here 3 times and it’s excellent value. $20 US a night is great value for accommodation right in the middle of all the action & directly across the road from the famous Pub Street in Siem Reap. The hotel does have a feel like it’s just hanging on the verge of falling into disrepair (Although, it felt like this on my first visit in 2015 too) but it’s kept clean enough, everything works and the pool is kept pristine. Water in it literally tastes fresh and untreated (although it must be). If you want great value for money and want a hotel that’s good enough without being great, stay here…

It is a very good hotel and cheap, we paid 80 000riels for a twin bed room with air con. There is a swimming pool near the reception and the place is quiet and full of plants. It's very nice to rest here after a day out. I heavily recommend this hotel, thanks ❤️

I have stayed at this rather elegant-looking and richly-furnished in the local Khmer style hotel 3 times over the years and the prices since I first came here back in 2016 are STILL the same: $20 for 1 person for 1 night. The service is top-rated as is the kindness and cheerfulness of the staff from the front desk to the cleaning ladies. And the swimming pool is amazing. Very clean and in a decorative, tropical paradise motif. Only 1 block away from Pub Street which is extremely convenient and tuk-tuks outside the door on the street always ready to assist you. I love this place!

This hotel is not provide warm welcome to guests who book online because it’s cheaper. They give us the noisy room and we can’t sleep all night.

Been to this old chestnut a few times over the years. Good thing is, it doesn’t change. You know what to expect. It is still good value for money IMO. Coming from a 5 star hotel a few days earlier in Bangkok I new what to expect. Bed was hard but sleepable, shower nice and hot, the small step down from the bathroom into the room will get you every time lol, the tv on the wall is only their for aesthetics, aircon works fine, no elevator but I prefer the exercise anyway. Be very careful walking down the stairs as there is very poor lighting. The pool area is really nice considering the hotel standard. No fault of the hotel but the noise on the street is ridiculous! Doff, doff going until 4-5 am full on every night by the mobile disco/bar. I can’t believe the police allow this to happen! I feel sorry for the hotels surrounding because they lose customers. Will probably stay again next time I find myself in SR because it is so convenient. Staff are always casual and pleasant. Cheers

Guests should be aware that, although the webpage clearly states that rooms are equipped with a 21 inch television including cable service, this is deception. Technically yes, there is a tv, but no cable or antennae service, and no remote control. The front desk clerk told me that no rooms have tv service due to sidewalk re-construction , however no construction was evident at the time of my stay. I was checked into a 3rd floor room, and the internet signal was too weak. When I complained, I was moved to a 2nd floor room, so problem solved. If you choose to stay here, be forewarned that there are no elevators. Also, be aware that Pub Street is very close (across the street) and the very loud music persists throughout every night, until 6 AM. A good pair of ear plugs is an essential requirement. On my last night there I could not use the earplugs because I needed to set an alarm clock due to early morning travel obligations, and it was a sleepless night for me. On the plus side, the prices are reasonable considering these faults. The staff were friendly, including front desk clerks and the house keeping persons. On two occasions, however, the housekeepers failed to lock my room door after cleaning, so my belongings were vulnerable to theft until I returned to the room. The second time, the door was left ajar! I brought this to the desk clerk’s attention, so it didn’t happen again. The rooms that I saw were kept clean and well maintained, except TV service, as well as the lobby and hallways. I did not use, nor see the pool area, and was not advised by staff upon check-in, of its existence, so I cannot comment on that. This has a policy prohibiting you from bringing anyone to your room, unless they are a registered guest at the hotel. I would give this hotel a 2.5 stars rating, out of 5 possible stars, overall. There are numerous restaurants within a few minutes walk. Khmer Kitchen, just a three minute walk, on San Sok Road, was one of my favorites. The night markets are also close by as well. Tuk- tuk drivers are always readily available should you want to visit Angkor Wat or other sites.
