The 24 Best Things to Do in Madrid, Spain

"A shop in Barrio de las Letras focused on Spanish‑made goods and artisanal foodstuffs—stocked with items like bomba rice, organic vermouth, Mantas Ezcaray wool blankets and distinctive green‑glazed ceramics from Úbeda; a top pick for authentic, locally crafted souvenirs." - Siobhan Reid Siobhan Reid Siobhan Reid is an NYC-based writer, editor, and copywriter. This shop is such a gem! They have a great selection of books, soaps, ceramics, and more, all really well-curated. I’ve been to so many souvenir shops, and the stuff here is so unique—you don’t see it anywhere else. It’s the perfect spot to grab gifts for yourself or others. Definitely worth a visit!

Really nice selection of locally made products. Although the listing says grocery store, they sell much more than groceries. You’ll find ceramics, candles, soaps, books and more in addition to local wines, cheeses, meats, etc. This is an excellent place to purchase gifts or souvenirs if you want something that feels a little more special than the typical magnet or tshirt

Visual joy, and attractive display. Cozy place, warm with authentic items from all over Spain. Even without buying any thing, you will leave the shop carrying a smile and invisible gain in your pockets. Mixed feeling of nostalgia and happiness that can’t be explained. Just few steps away from Lope de Vega house museum. Hang around while waiting your entry.

Such a cute store, well worth a visit if you're in Madrid! The sales associate went out of her way to be extra attentive and nice to my daughter! There's everything that you could want: cosmetics, food, decor, shoes, blankets, etc!

Real Fábrica is hands down my favorite shop in Madrid! Every time I visit, I end up spending big, and it’s always worth it. The selection of high-quality, beautifully crafted goods—from home decor to unique souvenirs—is amazing. The store itself has such a great vibe, it’s the perfect place to find something special and authentic. Can’t wait to return next time I’m in the city! Highly recommend to anyone looking for unique, top-tier products.

Lovely gift items for both home and personal use. I picked up some cute soaps and kitchen gifts as well as some candles. The shop itself is very quaint and in a fun area. I highly recommend this hidden gem if you are in the area.
