We stopped here for a picky-kid-friendly lunch (hot dogs, grilled cheese, chicken fingers, fries) when we got off the ferry. Patio umbrellas at the outdoor tables were much appreciated on this hot day. Food was ready quickly. Plan ahead and bring cash!

Solid scallop roll. Fry was on point. I could have eatin 3 or 4 of these bad boys. Compliments to the Chef! Front of house crew different story.

This was exactly what we needed when we needed it! We were tired, hot, and just needed basic food before heading back on the ferry. My wife got a burger and I ordered a turkey sandwich. For both of us, it totalled just under $20. It was even recommend by another restaurant owner after we explained what we were looking for! Took a few minutes to get our order but as the sign says, they make it right then.

Honestly I didn't expect anything spectacular, but the food was surprisingly good! My pastrami sandwich tasted really good, smokey, salty, not fatty or chewy (I don't like it when the pastrami is more fat than meat). I asked for some pickles because I like my pastrami with pickels, and they gave me some, so I'm a satisfied customer 👍 my husband tried the chicken wrap, he said that it was really good to (I didn't try it because I was so happy with my pastrami). It was really nice, I think we are going to eat here again when we visit the island next time.

Google
we came here yesterday and ordered food to go, but didnt raealize they didn’t give us salad dressing til we got home. we left the salad aside and went back today to ask for a side of dressing and instead of apologizing about forgetting part of our order, the woman with red the greasy hair rolled her eyes and threw the dressing back at us… didn’t know it was such a big issue. customer service big fat zero

Google
We were looking for a fast casual meal after a long days bike ride. Rebecca’s was tasty, affordable and provided that “summer by the sea” vacation vibes. This unpretentious spot is great for enjoying some fried clam strips at a shady picnic table and watching the world go by. Friendly and helpful staff

Google
For convenience to the ferry, speed of service, outdoor seating with umbrellas, and price, this is your place to go. Cash only. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, large selection, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, seafood dinners.

Google
The fried clam & seafood platters were both on point - with large servings. We had leftovers! Chowder hit the spot too. Huge menu covers all bases. Best prices for great food we found here. We will go back whenever we go to BI.

Yelp
We ordered a seafood platter with scallops, shrimp and a piece of cod, served on a bowl of fries as well as a house salad. Salad was simple and fresh and a great deal. The scallops were perfectly fried as were the shrimp and cod. Fairly quick window service and they call your number. Seemed to be open later than the posted time but I would double check to be sure. Outdoor seating was fun for people watching as they were busy with people coming and going. We enjoyed our lunch, and taking a moment to let our legs rest in the shade. If now seating is available then go is an option and there are lots of places close by to sit and each on a bench or the grass.

Yelp
A little overpriced, but a nice option on the island for a quick bite. Friendly little birds will twerp at you while you eat at the tables on the outside. OK food and prices, and friendly people.

Yelp
Came here for the first time over the weekend. Cash only and was a cheaper option compared to other restaurants in town. We dined outside and ordered via the takeout window. There were a handful of diners inside but it was just a few tables. The food was just okay. Even though it was cheaper than the town restaurants, it was pricy for what we received. We got a bowl of clam chowder and it was a tiny portion (not even a pint). I can't imagine what the cup portion would have been! The blackened chicken sandwich was not that flavorful and it was just the sandwich...didn't come with fries or chips. The mahi dinner was a little dry and the clam strip roll was just okay. We were not wowed so not sure if we would return. It's a cheap option if you have cash on hand and don't need anything fancy.

Yelp
Still a solid breakfast place with reasonable prices. Most recent visit was good. Still stingy on the syrup but I didn't ask for another because I don't really need the extra calories tbh, however your French toast will be a lil dry with one little syrup. Cash only. We forgot and luckily we had cash. Still a peanut free place.

Yelp
We had always passed Rebecca's many times. I had lunch and dinner when we had field trips with our college students. It's affordable compared to the restaurants around town. On Tuesday night, the orders taken could be improved. My spouse ordered clam strips dinner. He was disappointed by the measly strips, more like turds. I had oily fish and chips. The French fries were limpy. My clam chowder was watery but decent. I know we get what we pay but you boast of 30 years of service but will you survive another 30years? We saw a few times that other patrons were not given orders they thought they paid and ordered as you don't give receipts after payment. The person who takes orders should clarify before taking cash payments to avoid misunderstandings and confusions. This system should be clear and down pact in your 30th year business. Just disappointed.m

Yelp
My friend and I were trying to find a cheaper option for a quick meal and Rebecca's menu includes many reasonable options. It is cash only. They have outdoor seating and as few tables indoor. The menu includes many sandwiches, seafood options, salads, wraps, and more. I was curious about their clam cakes so we split those, a steak and cheese, and Caesar salad wrap. The favorite was the steak and cheese. Great steak flavor with hearty cheese. Bread was decent and worked well together. The clam cakes were okay, tasted on average to other fried dough. The Caesar Salad wrap was my least favorite. The chicken taste blackened and dry. I wish it was juicy with more flavor. Overall, I would go back for the steak and cheese.

Yelp
I have been going to Block Island every year for the past 10 years and have eaten breakfast and lunch at Rebecca's and in general service and food has always been good and prices are decent. However, my last trip on 06Aug I had breakfast there and both me and my wife ordered sunny side up eggs with home fries and toast and the eggs were very runny and the white was not even cooked. The home fries I believe are frozen which I am guessing they deep fry or bake so are not fresh and even the coffee was not great. I won't be going back there and would suggest to check out other breakfast places even if you have to pay more.

Kayla L.

Yelp
Over cooked fish sandwich. Offered dining but no one comes and checks in on you. Sat there with my money out and 3 girls walked past it before some cashed me out.

Val G.

Yelp
If i could give this place 0 stars, i would. Their breakfast ends at 11:30a, I got there and ordered at 10:52a. After some time waiting I decided to go up and asked what had happened to the food, this is when they tell me they do not know and are no longer cooking breakfast. They literally lost my order and if it wasnt for the fact that I decided to ask, I wouldve wasted so much more time waiting. Will not be returning.

Yelp
good food but only cash...I gave them a $50 and just found out they gave me $6 back...super disappointe.

Yelp
Fun place. Nice tasty selection. Prices fair & reasonable. I'd go back. Very casual. Inside & outside seating. Everything is pretty much al a bit carte.

Lisa C.

Yelp
I'm not sure what the low-starred reviewers were eating but my clam strip dinner was the best I have ever had. The clams were meaty and perfectly fried. The chocolate shake was a perfect complement.

Debra D.

Yelp
Not a typical basic takeout. Someone back there in the kitchen actually cares!!! I got the spinach Gorgonzola salad and it was PERFECT! It was a good meal-sized salad with fresh spinach, chunks of bacon, Gorgonzola and tediously chopped hard boiled eggs and tomatoes. It had the perfect amount of dressing. I got the salad with chicken and the chicken was char-broiled perfection, not some anemic, bland slab of texture. The staff was a delightful crew of young women who seemed happy to please This place also has fruit!! I was having a difficult time finding it on the island. Rebecca's may seem basic on the outside, but is anything but!!

Yelp
Been going to Rebecca's for years to have their seafood, whether it is clam strips, scallops, calamari or clam chowder. I usually prefer to get the fried items while sitting outside soaking the sun underneath the picnic tables. While they serve breakfast until 11pm, don't be surprised if my friends and I are the ones waiting until 11 when they serve lunch because that is what they are known for. Not looking to take themselves too seriously you'll find all the coastal food that you'll want to eat. There are many other places to get food but you don't want to sit and linger while waiting for your food, the island time moves fast and you want to enjoy food while walking to your next destination and Rebecca's does that just fine. I will say that the portions have shrunk a little bit compared to past years but with some many stops for your trip, Rebecca's should be one of the first.

Yelp
The one thing they have always had going for them, is that they are cheap compared with all the other very expensive places on the island, but cheap is the word. We were on the island late in the season, and wound up there because the Oar was mobbed and every other place we wanted was closed. We both got clam chowder and it was inedible; It was thick and floury with rubbery clams, I would describe it as library paste. I ordered clam strips, and they were also extremely rubbery and inedible. My wife got the lobster roll, and that was good, made with lobster salad. we both split that, with some OK fries. I think the rest of their menu is probably ok, but stay away from the seafood.

Yelp
Love Rebecca's for our morning breakfast. They used to be open after Capt Nick's & The Kitten closed for a late night (early morning snack) but I am not sure of their current hours.

Yelp
Monster chicken wrap Blackened chicken cAesar wrap Chicken spinach Gorgonzola wrap Trendies Best food on BI

Yelp
2 stars is generous rating . I ordered the blackened mahi tacos. There was barely any fish in the taco. I'm not exaggerating either. I would say there was a total of 2 ounces of fish betwixt the two tacos. Very skimpy amount of sriracha sour cream, and the pico and lettuce took up 95% of the taco. What a waste of money. Not a place I would ever patronize again, nor would i recommend it to others.

Paul S.

Yelp
Stay away! I went to their sister property, Rebecca's on the Beach yesterday. My $14.75 mahi mahi sandwich was the last one they served before running out and it showed: there was virtually no fish on the sandwich so I politely brought it back to the cook/owner to inquire. I was immediately met with hostility. He told me it was what it was, took the sandwich from me, threw it in the trash, and shoved me back my money. When I commented on the "friendly service" he told me to "beat it." Are you kidding me? I've been coming to the island for 54 years and never experienced anything like this. I'll never come back to either of their establishments on the island and will be quick to share this story with others.

Yelp
Had breakfast here twice this weekend, excellent egg sangwiches, hash brown patties, & coffee. I quickly learned to call ahead and order, as the line can get long. Reasonably priced ....

Yelp
Well.... I supposed I should have read the reviews on yelp before I went here. I was soo excited to have a lobster roll in block island. I got the lobster roll, took a giant bite... and the only thing I could taste was RAW ONION. This is a true travesty. Lobster is such a delicate taste and the onion completely overpowers it. So I say.. OK.. let me pick out the chunks of onion and it will be fine... It was not fine. On the upside.. the lovely girls behind the counter weren't upset that I wanted to give it back (I never EVER do that) and exchange it for something else. I ended up with the fried scallops which were ok. My friends enjoyed their grilled ham and cheese and steak and cheese sandwiches, so I'm thinking this place it better for quick non-seafood items. In summary.... lobster rolls should not have onions. If they do, the menu description should explicitly say so.

Cory M.

Yelp
The food was ok. Nothing to write home about. Everything was heavily breaded. I like lighter battered seafood. Scallops had a different flavor, it was probably due to the batter. I probably will not go back. The staff is great. Very friendly. If I was to go back, it would for them.

Yelp
Right up the street from the ferry, this is a great place to grab a quick breakfast sandwich . Bacon, egg and cheese on an English was delish and only $5. No tourist markup here!! It was hot and tasty! We loved Block Island but hadn't been in years. Will def return and start my day off at Rebecca's!
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
Highly recommended by a local for delicious high quality seafood at reasonable prices. Yet, we ended up going for coffee and milkshakes. I gotta say though, the fried fish and even the lobster rolls looked decent and the prices won't be beat anywhere else on Block Island. We opted to go somewhere with a view for lunch, but enjoyed the coffee and milkshakes we got to go from Rebecca's Seafood Takeout. They were pretty quick, but cash only. Coffee was decent and strong and the milkshakes were good (I tried the strawberry that my wife had). I imagine they would be pretty decent for seafood as well!

Yelp
Second time we have eaten here. This time we had breakfast. The two waitress were polite and attentive. They talked to everyone. Seems like a lot of the locals stop by for breakfast. The also have a good lunch menu. If you're on the island and eBay to get a quick bite stop in. Pieces very reasonable also.

Emma S.

Yelp
Awful food! everything was cold, the fish was nasty and the hamburgers too. Don't waist your money. service is very bad too
google avatar

Tiffany C.

Yelp
The wait was a little long (~10 mins) for a plate of fish & chip, but I think it was worth it. The fried cod was perfectly battered and fried to perfection. The choice of cod and the cut/size of it was a perfect combo. It was juicy, tender, and flavorful. The fries were basic fries. It's a great spot for a quick bite before exploring the island or getting back on the ferry back to the main land.

Yelp
I wonder if Rebecca eats here Rebecca's is a little take out restaurant located almost across the street from the ferry terminal on Block Island. It was named of course for the famous statue, Rebecca at the Well, just down the street. There is also another Rebecca's restaurant over on Corn Neck Road at the town beach. This Rebecca's has a few tables and chairs inside and about a dozen or so picnic tables outside. Sitting outside you get great views of the water and the activity on Water Street. A great place to sit back and relax after killing yourself biking the island. The food is good for a take out place but certainly can't be compared to the more elegant restaurants on the island. You can get the usual fish and chips, clam cakes, clam chowder, fried calamari and other baked and fried seafood items. They also have some veggies sandwiches, the cool Rebecca wraps and the mundane burgers, dogs and fries for the knuckleheads that don't like seafood. Rebecca's is not the place for a gourmet meal but it is a very convenient spot that does have decent seafood and a very cool view. When you are done eating here make sure you walk south down Water Street a few minutes to visit with Rebeca at the Well.
google avatar

Sol C.

Yelp
Nothing not to like about Rebecca's. It is super casual, with a few tables inside and a few outside; don't come expecting anything fancy. But the food is great. The clam chowder is some of the best on Block Island and their lobster rolls are fresh and delicious, with large pieces of lobster meat. Perfect for a quick bite. Note: Lobster in the roll is mixed with pieces of red peppers just FYI so it's a cold lobster salad

Sheila M.

Yelp
ONIONS do NOT belong in a lobster roll. Very disappointing. All you could taste was onion. Large chunks of onion overpowered the taste of lobster. Ok place for a quick burger before the ferry but so many better options for a lobster roll.
google avatar

Iris S.

Yelp
right off the ferry (2 min bike ride) it has indoor and outdoor seating. the inside is a bit cramped so i would opt to sit on the umbrelled picnic tables. they have a great fried scallop sammie. large scallops with a great cole slaw on the side (good ratio of mayo and sugar). the fish and chips is soso. there is a bit too much breading (and its uneven) but the fish itself is juicy. the tartar could use a bit more bite. the fries are soggy but i can't even say no to fries of note, i saw lots of the ferry crew coming here for chicken wraps and sandwiches. im not sure what they got but it looked really good! this is a great cheap/.quick option to fuel up on the way to bike

Yelp
I believe this is the place I ordered my lobster roll when I was on Block Island the day before July 4th. I was in desperate need of a plain lobster roll. I like the lobster salad, but nothing beats pure lobster and melted butter on a roll. Rebecca's seafood was my saving grace as I prepared to leave the Island after a long day of being on the beach. It was expensive but it was good. Looking to eat a few more items when I return next year.

Yelp
Not great. Way overpriced for what you get. I got the grilled mahi tacos, couldn't eat them. Fish tasted gross and there barely any of fish and a whole lot of lettuce. They have a lot of fried foods but not that special.

Olga J.

Yelp
Food was not fresh. Fries were cold. The waitress did bring new warm fries. Coleslaw was stale and sticky Falafel wrap gave indigestion . Try other restaurants. This is the first poor experience. experience I had in Block Island
google avatar

Anatoli L.

Yelp
Somehow you expect more from the small takeout places in New England. This place was simply mediocre. Lobster roll was disappointing, you could taste only pepper and celery - it felt like lobster was previously frozen and not fresh at all. Few different wraps and onion rings were okay. Not recommended.
google avatar

Julia D.

Yelp
the food was average here. the service wasn't the best. and i heard so much good things about it and considering how long the wait was you'd expect better food but it wasn't terrible. the fries were the favorite for my boyfriend and me.
google avatar

J D.

Yelp
Good breakfast sandwiches served quickly. Have been ordering a variety to go for our hungry vacationing crew of 8-10 every year for a week for many years and we're always satisfied. The staff are courteous and kind.
google avatar

Paul F.

Yelp
Summer staff chefs are not the fastest but the good attitude counter staff make this old harbor take away a safe bet. We give the cold lobster roll high marks. The chicken Caesar wrap was good as was the veggie that we got by mistake- thanks to a mix up. The fresh grilled Mahi Mahi is really good.,The humus and veggies is a pass in my book. Eat on the picnic tables. Milkshakes, ice cream Fried shrimps and hot dogs are very popular but we did not try. If u are running for a ferry beware. The food takes a long time.
google avatar

Jane H.

Yelp
Why does everyone love this place? The food is iffy at best, the service is worse. You can be young & clueless, or old and surly .....but I take umbrage at service that is young & surly.
google avatar

Jessie L.

Yelp
A staple when staying on the boat. Convenient and fast food for when you simply do not feel like cooking. The fish sandwich is a good portion size and the servers are very friendly. Its great, you can grab a drink from the bar and sit upstairs and they bring the food to you. I've had a few evenings just sitting up there watching the pond.
google avatar

Joe H.

Yelp
Great food, very slow service. Oh wait not even sure if it's good food because I'm still waiting...
google avatar

Karen G.

Yelp
Choose a cozy interior or picnic tables outdoors, this busy breakfast spot is a quick walk from the ferry. Pricing is fine, nothing noteworthy in the meal other than some very fresh fruit sides. The home fries appear to come from a machine creating identical cube shapes, nothing added for flair. One of our orders was not filled correctly yet the counter staff were cordial and remember locals in a friendly manner.
google avatar

Adelma L.

Yelp
Excellent lunch spot. Normally seafood take out is all fried, but this place was probably the freshest food we had in the island! Everything was made to order and delicious. The Santa Fe chicken wrap was loaded with fresh tomatoes, lettuce and shredded cheddar. Huge and yummy. The chicken salad sandwich was solid chunks of chicken with spicy mayo (not too much!) and tomatoes on fresh rye...really nice surprise. The grilled tuna salad was also super fresh, though on iceberg lettuce. Great outdoor seating- picnic tables with umbrellas. Best lunch in town.
google avatar

Dawn C.

Yelp
Excellent place to grab a casual lunch. The food is fantastic! Lobster rolls and grilled ham and cheese sandwiches are yummy!
google avatar

Larry K.

Yelp
Great local place for a quick breakfast before the ferry. Also have has lunch. Simple foods served relatively fast. Everything is made to order so it's not super fast. Outside seating is great on a nice day. Service is polite and helpful.
google avatar

Mike D.

Yelp
$3 for a egg & cheese on a english muffin and $4 for egg, cheese & bacon. Wow, I never would have thought I could find a deal this good.
google avatar

Tevis F.

Yelp
Three of us ordered take-out during vacation. Called it in and went to pick-up. Fifteen minutes exactly and we brought home piping hot fried scallops, Fish and chips, clam chowder, clam fritters and a BLT. The scallops were very good. I personally didn't care for the type of fish used for the fish and chips, but my mom loved it. Fries were crisp, My niece liked the BLT. Prices were very reasonable for the island and for seafood in general. This was the best food I had on BI.
google avatar

Steven M.

Yelp
One of the best spots on the island for sandwiches! Great selection, always fresh and great service!

Yelp
This is one of the only places opened late night on Block Island. Expect to find a huge raucous crowd of drunkies around 12-2 attempting to order food. I think I had a hotdog here one night and chicken tenders another night. I don't remember the hotdog but the chicken tenders were amazing.
