I came here from a local recommendation so I came with optimism. That in mind, here's how it went:
When I walked in neither I nor my friend was acknowledged. The two girls working front of house were not very busy, and the blonde one working the register looked as if she couldn't not care less about making patrons feel welcomed.
I was pretty hungry, and the Mahi Mahi blackened sandwich sounded good. I saw that it costs $15.99 (just the sandwich), so I was hoping for a decent portion size. Thus, I asked the blonde girl how big the piece of fish would be. She showed with her hands that it would be the about size of a sandwich bun. I took her word for it so both my friend and I ordered the sandwich.
When our sandwitches came, they were plopped on the counter, wrapped but not in a to go bag. After asking for a bag and heading off to New Harbor, we sat down to eat our sandwiches. The piece of fish on both sandwiches was pathetic, nowhere near as big as the bun. My friend thought hers tasted good, but mine honestly tasted bland, barely with any blackened flavor. The bun was good, but that's it for me. I was just plain disappointed.
