My experience at Recorded Room was exceptional. The R&B selections were thoughtfully curated and truly elevated the ambiance. I attended on a Tuesday evening, and despite it being a weekday, the atmosphere was vibrant, inviting, and very well balanced. The environment was stylish, the energy was positive, and the overall setting created a memorable night. I genuinely appreciated the atmosphere and would be pleased to return in the future.

Vibe and music were ok but a little overhyped. The service was awful and everyone working there had an attitude. The concept and the actual records used by the DJs is cool but that’s it. Food was nothing special - very basic. Drinks were overpriced and had way too much ice - three sips and we had to order another round. And we had to wait for 30+ mins on the cold outside even though we had a reservation.

Great drinks and great music; we stayed longer than planned! Definitely a must whenever I’m in NY.

Amazing experience all the time. The bartender makes phenomenal drinks, the door people are friendly and the manager is on point. he comes through to see how you are doing, makes sure everybody has a good experience and I have no complaints. 10/10 experience every time. It’s a seamless experience from entry to exit. Management and staff are on point, music is top notch especially on Thursdays. I didn’t try the food, I’ll save it for next time.

Been here a few times and its the perfect vibe for a calm turn up. The music is good everytime I went! a mix of 90’s to new school music. The service is great in a section but the bar area can tend to be busy and crowded. Drinks were good and ambience is perfect. Will be back again much luv to the people who created this spot. Its what was needed.

I absolutely ❤️ this place! The vibe is so cool, calm and the crowd's energy is on point. Best to RSVP for groups of 3 or more so that you're able to sit for 90 mins at a table with couches. The Music/DJs are unmatched! Didn't eat there, but the drinks are type pricey. Definitely a low-key place, that everyone may not know about which makes you feel like a celeb walking in. Lol

Today I came to celebrate completing 75 hard on a lovely solo date. When I tell you this is the second time I come alone and never feel unsafe in this place. I always meet someone new who is also riding solo. I love that they offer coat check at no cost ( obviously on first come first serve basis) I come particularly on thursday’s because i truly enjoy Karl and Snips sets, always understanding the assignment. I’m also on my sober year and to be able to see that this time around they have added a mocktail menu. My suggestions would be to lower on the sugar for the mocktails and maybe a lower price since its no alcohol other than that, I will be back to continue to dance.

Came here on a Thursday and booked the center table. Everything from the vibe to the music, to the delicious cocktails to the hospitality was 100!! I haven’t danced like that in so long. And the staff was so accommodating - big shout out to Bri and the server working the floor! I even left my blazer behind and they were very helpful when I came back days later for it. My new fave spot 💗
