The red agave is awesome! Get away from the tourist trap of downtown and stay here instead. Oak creek is super cool and quiet. Direct access to slim shady trail made every day of mountain biking we did super easy. The staff was awesome and accommodated every request we had. The fire pit, hot tubs, and pool were perfect for hanging out after a hard day of biking. The pool was always the perfect temp. Rooms were clean and quiet with enough kitchen amenities to make a simple meal. Highly recommend!

We rented out Red Agave Resort for three days for our wedding, and it was truly magical—everything we hoped it would be. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and such a fun place for our guests to stay and relax. Everyone loved the pool and the beautiful grounds, and the red rock backdrop made for the most jaw-dropping ceremony setting. We barely needed decorations—nature did the work for us. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind every step of the way. They went out of their way to accommodate us, even allowing us to check in early so we could unload everything for the weekend. We truly loved working with them. As a local, it was such a joy to share this beautiful corner of the world with our friends and family. The weekend went by far too quickly, but I can’t imagine a better place to have spent it. Red Agave will always hold a special place in our hearts.

We stayed one night while exploring Sedona. We stayed in one of the hotel rooms, very spacious, comfortable, and fully stocked. Other family stayed in one of the loft chalet's, just as comfortable. We grilled out, used the pool, and were super impressed with the wi-fi speed! Spectacular views and hiking trail on the property, we will be back!|

Guys, this is a FANTASTIC place. The setting is to die for as it’s a bit out from the center of the town and so free of traffic and crowds. The views are unreal with spectacular rock formations, including Bell Rock, showing off right there in the backyard. They have trails behind the property that are perfect for hiking and mountain biking. They also have an excellent pool and a nice evening fire pit where you can chat with other guests over wine and smores about how great it is to be at the Red Agave. But the people who operate the hotel may be the best thing about the property. We had a tricky reservation issue that was our fault and Trish and the team at the resort were nevertheless incredibly helpful and kind in helping us rectify the problem. Just so nice. That kindness fits with the happiness vibe you’ll enjoy in the midst of all the natural beauty at this relaxed location. Don’t go anywhere else!!

We loved this place SO much! The cabin was so comfortable and clean. Plenty of room for us all to hang out. There were thoughtful touches throughout. ||We loved, loved, loved the hot tub and fire pit with s'mores. And the views and being able to start our hikes right outside the cabin- perfection. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer.

We loved our little A frame! Beds and pillows are very cozy, and the shower was great. It was nice to have a full kitchen supplied with coffee and creamer. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Also, we had a nice patio set to sit outside and the Red Agave is located at the trail head. If ever back in this area we would definitely stay here again.

I did a lot of research before booking a hotel. I am really picky about where I stay, but decided I would take a chance and "rough it" for the ease of access to hiking trails right from the backyard. ||We arrived and the front desk person showed us to our chalet. The chalet was clean - no dirty socks and when I used some wipes to give some areas a quick wipe down, everything was clean. Bed was comfy. We never used the upstairs because it's just me and my husband on this trip but I love that there are two additional beds in the loft. ||The kitchen has a stove, fridge, microwave, and mini dishwasher.||Access to hiking trails was exactly what I hoped for -- right in the back yard. The front desk staff told us about and easy hike to the top of one of the nearby red rocks. ||Ample parking.||We never used the pool but there were always people in it, no matter when we came and left the chalet. ||Lots of restaurants within walking distance.||Highly recommend. We will be back!

We loved our 4 day stay at Red Agave. While the rooms are basic, the accessibility to the trails and the views are outstanding. Staff service is excellent. The room rates are a great value for this area. The pool, hot spa, outdoor tables, grills, and fire pit are great for hanging out. Nightly smores are a nice treat.

Yelp
This place is everything. It's nestled in the corner right with the best view of red rocks. They have a pool, hot tub, fire pit, and you can walk into paths for hiking the nearby canyon area. The rooms were spacious enough to feel at home and quiet enough to feel relaxed. Clean. Tidy. Comfortable beds. At 7 they hand out smores packets to sit by the fire pit. Not to mention, the resident dog staff, Benny. LOVE. The staff was super friendly, so sweet. They think of it all. They even have blankets on deck for the cold. I wish we would have stayed longer because we were so happy to wake up in the morning to the great view and just relax. I would love love to be back and cannot say enough about this place.

Yelp
This place ROCKS! Just stayed at Red Agave Resort, we LOVED it! So beautiful, staff is welcoming and very accommodating. Great for dogs, kids and everyone. Went mountain biking and hiking and enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommend.

Yelp
We drove in late from Flagstaff and woke up to the most amazing views from our chalet. Absolutely gorgeous! After a quick early morning hike we came back and jumped in the pool. What a tough life! We all decided then and there that we would be back and stay for a few days next time. One night wasn't enough. Our party of nine shared 2 chalets and it was a perfect amount of space for families. If you have the opportunity, this is a really fantastic resort. Not a big footprint, but packs in the amenities. Trails right outside the front door, the best views of the red rocks of Sedona, friendly and helpful staff that is happy to host you, grills and kitchens so you can stay a while, and a fantastic pool and hot tubs to relax after adventuring. A++

Yelp
Love this little resort!! First off, we arrived in the area earlier than expected and my husband called to see if it was possible to check in early. He spoke with Chelsea who was very sweet and made that happen for us. We stayed in the chalet (Devil's bridge) and my teen loved having the loft to himself (it was a spacious loft with a twin and one full/queen) bed and it's own a/c unit that is controlled by the thermostat downstairs. The downstairs primary bedroom has a king sized bed. The kitchenette has a full sized fridge, microwave, electric stove, coffee maker and mini dishwasher and is fully stocked with glassware (wine glasses, juice glasses and water glasses), plates, bowls, pots & pans and cooking utensils, They have coffee, tea, and hot cocoa available with all of the accompaniments (mini creamers in the fridge). The rain shower is nice and they have extra towels in the cabinets. The pool was pretty popular when we were there... we didn't use it. They have a gas grill for each unit which looks like is cleaned each morning by one of the staffers (we saw him tending to the grills as we were leaving). They also have cornhole and a fire pit that is lit each evening (you can request a s'mores kit at the office). The Slim Shady Trail is right at the resort so we went for a quick easy hike to take on the scenery. Service was fantastic here too! We will totally come back next time we come to Sedona.

Yelp
We recently rented out the entire resort Friday-Sunday for our wedding, and it was absolutely incredible. The staff were so excited for us, supportive as I planned, and reliable/professional in their communication. The location was absolutely stunning. The cabins were gorgeous, well furnished, clean, and all had great views. The outdoor space was perfect for the kids: lots of places to run around, and heated pool. And the red rock views surrounded you and were stunning. It created the perfect venue for our wedding and ceremony and reception. Was very cool to have everything in one place. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
I'm writing this review from the living room of the Apache Leap(aka Chalet A) at the Red Agave Resort. The Fam. and I have enjoyed our stay at the Red Agave so much so that we will honestly miss it when we leave. The Red Agave Resort sits in Oak Creek Village which is 6 miles or so south of Sedona. Behind the resort are homes and neighborhoods and in front is some of the most amazing scenery you could want while staying at a resort. Apache Leap sits at the north end of the property and is the very last chalet on that end of the property. I recommend shelling out the extra bucks for a chalet if you're traveling with more than two people. There is a bedroom downstairs that has a king sized bed and a loft upstairs that has a full size and twin bed. The loft is accessed by a very narrow spiral staircase. The bathroom is located on the main floor. There is a smart tv for your viewing enjoyment and a comfy couch and chair to sit in. The floor is made up of tile which helps keep the place cool. AC units are in the downstairs bedroom and loft. It takes a while to cool the chalet down because of the vaulted ceilings. There is a kitchenette if you would like to cook your own food, however; you are very limited on cooking equipment. If you choose to cook, don't plan anything complicated. The only spices available are salt an pepper. There is a coffee pot and surprisingly good coffee as well. Gas grills are available in the courtyard for your use, however; you may need to do some cleaning beforehand. You'll find your fellow resort guest tend to not practice proper communal grill etiquette. There are a total of 9 chalets and 5 studios on the property. There is a very small pool on the property that is nice. Instead of having steps to get into it there is a gently sloping ramp for you to walk down. The water temperature is like bath water but, still refreshing on a hot day. Two spas are available as well. The pool capacity is limited to 20 people and the both spas are limited to 4 people each. I think if you got 20 people in the pool you'd need a lubricant to get them out. Yes, it is that small. You can't beat the views from the Red Agave. They change daily based upon the weather. As I stated earlier, you are 6 miles south of Sedona. Clerk's market is about 1 mile south of the Red Agave, however; it is limited in what it has to offer and is kind of like a Whole Foods. There are really no restaurants of note in Oak Creek Village. So if you want to go to SafeWay or find a great place to eat, you'll have to go to Sedona, which can take 20 minutes to half hour or more. There are 6 roundabouts between Oak Creek Village and Sedona and the main roundabout where 89A meets 179 is a bear. Traffic on Fridays and the weekends makes getting around Sedona very time consuming. If you are heading to uptown Sedona, parking is a big issue. especially on the weekends. The local businesses are VERY territorial when it comes to people parking and will not hesitate to tow your car.....even if that business is closed on a Sunday.

Yelp
Great experience. We came in with an RV without a reservation. Super accommodating to our changing schedule. Fire pit at night was fun and met some very friendly people. They'll happily provide S'more makings if requested. It's right at a trail head with nothing behind it and has great views. We didn't use the pool, but heard it was great and looked well maintained. Corn hole is available too. Rooms were perfect for our needs.

Sandra R.

Yelp
Such a beautiful place to stay at if you're in Sedona. Located near bell rock pathway. You could Practically walk to the trial. About 15 mins away from uptown Sedona but not as busy as uptown. Very close to many restaurants and bars. The resort is connected to a private trail that is a beautiful walk if you wanted to take a little stroll but not go too far. It also has a community pool and fire pit that is lit every night until 9ish pm. S'mores are also located at the front if you wanted. We stayed at Cathedral Rock house which was super cute! it had so much personality. It felt homey. The bathroom looked renovated and loved the shower heads. Would stay her again if in town.

Yelp
Great place to stay, centrally located with breath-taking views! Friendly staff and more than adequate little suites!

Natalie N.

Yelp
Such a beautiful place. We have been here a few times and loved it so much that we decided to have our wedding here. We reserved the entire place and had our families come from out of town. The hiking trail is easy access, the pool is amazing to use during the summer and there's so much space yet have privacy with each chalet. We will definitely be back

Katy J.

Yelp
Great service from staff, amazing views and right near trail head ! Very quiet and tranquil setting

Yelp
1000000/10 got stranded due to a big storm and this place welcomed us with open arms. With in 10 minutes we were in a warm cabin that was charming, comfortable and fun. Not to mention the views of the red rocks are awesome. We did not get to enjoy the hot tub and s'mores due to weather but we had a great time. The next morning we asked the front desk to call us a cab and Juanita drove us herself. It was way to kind didn't even take a dollar from us. We WILL be back!

Rebecca M.

Yelp
We have stayed here before and had an outstanding experience, this visit wasn't as impressive. I booked the same Chalet as the time before but when we checked, they put us in a different one, not a big deal since they look identical for the most part. However, the one we were placed in had a temperamental toilet that my husband had to fix during the stay- also not the end of the world but also not ideal when you're on vacation. We then found out that the reason the heaters didn't stay on and actually heat the place was because of some sort of problem with the breaker, which sounds like a bigger problem then a wrong room and temperamental toilet. It was chilly and stormy over the weekend, so I spent the two nights we were there continuously checking on the kids to make sure they were under their blankets and warm. I waited a couple days to review because the staff that was there working were so nice and assured my husband that someone would reach out to us but our stay, but no one has. Their customer service to your face is excellent, both visits we were impressed with how welcoming and helpful staff is. The location of the resort is nice, and the views are amazing, I'd love to stay again, but I'm not sure I'd feel confident booking after the lack of communication regarding our disappointing stay.

Miguel D.

Yelp
Visited as part of a wedding party in 2022; grounds are very nice, Chalets are a good size, but you have to be mindful of the Winding Staircase or you may bump your head. George was the best. Trails are easy access. Overall a nice place, but value is so so.

Mick C.

Yelp
Loved it. Stayed for 1 night on our way from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon. The A-frame cottage was perfect for our family of four, with a main bedroom downstairs and two beds in the loft. Just out the front door were views of Bell Rock and other Sedona mountains. We swam in the pool, hiked along the Slim Shady Trail, and used the communal BBQ to make dinner (a nice change from dining out). In the evening, we made smores over the fire and chatted to other guests. The hosts were incredibly helpful as well. We would definitely go back.

Cory M.

Yelp
This is the perfect Sedona hotel. There are unobstructed views of the red rocks from every spot on the property. We stayed in a king bed studio that had a full renovated kitchen. There's also a hiking trail right off the property and a saltwater pool. I WILL come back!!! Staff are so friendly and helpful too. Oh and they give you s'mores every night!

Aimee L.

Yelp
THE BEST PLACE! We had our wedding there and stayed for Christmas. Every single person working there was so accommodating and welcoming. We had a couple issues with family flights and travels arriving sooner than checkin, in one case a whole day early, and they got rooms ready quickly and they were perfect. Friendly people who made me feel like family! I didn't want to leave. We stayed right in front of a trailhead and definitely took advantage of hiking. We also had the most beautiful views in our wedding photos. We could not have asked for a better week! It felt like the resort hosts were just part of the wedding family crew. We also were within a mile of two local coffee shops, so early morning coffee dog walks happened daily! I cannot wait to book our next trip. Truly cannot say enough good things about this place. It was everything I needed it to be for my wedding and Christmas weekend with my family.

Sarah G.

Yelp
Such a lovely place to spend a few days among the red rocks. It's quiet, spacious and has beautiful views

Janna R.

Yelp
Perfect everything. Great pool, awesome staff, gorgeous views, can't say enough good. 4stars because the beds weren't soft and the event staff setting up a canopy for a wedding was very loud, talking and laughing loudly, pounding stakes and clanking around large metal poles 5 feet from my chalet at 7am. I'll still stay again, and I highly recommend.

Penny K.

Yelp
Booked here for our Sedona stay. AMAZING location. We rented a chalet with our dog and had a marvelous time hiking the trails right behind the resort. The chalet was clean and had everything we needed. Kat was very helpful at checking pointed out their restaurant and Sedona guide as well as some safety tips since we had our chihuahua with us. Definitely the only place we will stay when visiting the Sedona area!!!

Yelp
DREAM WEDDING! We first reached out to Red Agave Resort in December of 2020 to book our wedding for April of 2022, and we had the pleasure of working with them for over a year. Let me tell you...the team at Red Agave is incomparable! They have the absolute sweetest, most hard-working, attentive staff who made us feel so special and loved from beginning to end. And even now we are still in communication with them because we miss them so much. Our dream wedding became a reality thanks to this gorgeous desert venue that has absolutely everything you need and more for an EPIC wedding weekend. We booked out the entire resort for the weekend, and it was so fun to see our family and friends everywhere we looked. Whether they were swimming and hot tubbing, hiking, or hanging out in the courtyard, our group had a fantastic time and they tell us all the time how much they loved it. We hired Chelsea as our Wedding Coordinator and I know for a fact our day would not have gone as perfectly as it did without her. Chelsea worked so so hard to make sure everything went smoothly and that myself, my husband and our guests always had everything we needed. Red Agave just started an All in One Package for weddings, which includes discounted rates for their preferred wedding vendors. Thanks to this package we were able to have Chelsea as our Coordinator, as well as Wil's Grill (best caterer) and Verve Events & Tents (best rentals) as part of our wedding team. Chelsea coordinated our vendors so well, ensured all the fine details we had discussed went according to plan, and helped resolve any issues that came up immediately. She was there for us every step of the way and we are forever grateful for Chelsea. She always had the best can-do attitude and she HUSTLED during our entire wedding weekend. There is no other Wedding Coordinator like Chelsea! I mean who else would ensure everything goes perfectly AND still make it on to the dance floor to dance with her bride and groom for a song? Do yourself a favor and hire Chelsea as your Wedding Coordinator and Red Agave Resort as your wedding venue. You will have an unforgettable wedding that your guests will be talking about for years to come. Our friends and family are already talking about doing a reunion trip! We could not be more thankful for Chelsea, Trish, Katherine, Allison and the rest of the Red Agave team. I will be dreaming about our wedding forever! We can't wait to return for years to come. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Jeff W.

Yelp
Our Son and his Fiancé selected this Resort in early Spring for their Wedding in August of 2022. What a Lovely location for the Wedding. The setting is Beautiful, the natural Red Rocks greet every Room. The rooms, both Studio and Chalet, are equipped with everything one would need and expect. And if you want to do some of your own meal prep, a full electric cooktop is available, as well as a Large Microwave, nice size refrigerator and very adequate dishwasher. Oh, and I failed to mention the Gas Grill outside every room. Chalets can accommodate up to 5 guests, and Studios 2. The swimming Pool and Hot Tub were a refreshing retreat after a long and busy day of sightseeing. Trails are accessible directly from the Resort. But where the Resort really shines, is with its Staff. Everyone from the GM, Trish, Katherine, to George who offered local insight, Stephanie; each of them provided so much warmth and friendliness, I thought I was coming to visit old and dear friends. The level of care and personal interaction was unlike anything I've experienced previously. SPECIAL MENTION AND RECOGNITION goes to our Event Planners, Chelsea, and Ally, who always greeted us with a Hi "my name" each day as we crossed paths. Their wonderful work ethic, personalities and attention to the smallest details, including recommending we ask that the Canopy be "fitted" with Drop down sides in the event of inclement weather were an indication of how much they wanted the Wedding to go flawlessly. And as luck would have, it did Rain, not so much to dampen spirts, but to see Chelsea and Ally run out to the Chairs (for the Ceremony) and ensure each was covered and protected was unbelievable. I knew at that moment, they wanted for us more than anything, not to worry about any detail that may have impacted our guests. We could not have wished or wanted for a better experience; Chelsea and Ally are true Professionals, who you can tell LOVE what they do, and never said "can't be done", rather, no obstacle deterred them from making our Son and his Wife's Wedding a complete success. I cannot recommend either Chelsea or Ally highly enough for your Wedding; they are exceptionally wonderful ladies, with their Clients wishes and dreams at the forefront of the service they provide. Their "All in One" Package was the Perfect Solution for my Son and his Wife's Wedding.

Joshua G.

Yelp
This place was truly magical!! Brittany was super awesome and helpful even though we drove in very late, my apologies. This is way more than a resort, it's really an Airbnb and resort all wrapped into one. You literally get the entire cake with this place. The studio rooms were very spacious and lots of amenities, I could be here all day naming them. The salt water pools were even better in person and with the view behind you it still wouldn't of mattered if they were chlorine. They also have your personal own grill to bbq with the views!! Thank you for having me and my family we will be back again and again!!

Lori D.

Yelp
We had an amazing time celebrating my dad's 80th bday. We had 2 chalets and a studio which allowed us to social distance and eat outdoors. Each unit fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. The pool, hot tubs and hiking trails were second only to the views. Staff was so accommodating we can't thank them enough. We look forward to returning soon!

Jessica R.

Yelp
Totally and completely impressed. We are currently here and having the BEST time! We reserved a "Chalet" because we have a dog and two kids with us. Check in was really easy and very very friendly. Our Chalet is AWESOME. Clean, cute, and well stocked for our family. The trailhead is right in front of our door and I honestly felt like our hike (although rainy) was magical even with a 2 and 4 year old. I can only imagine how cool it might be for mountain bikers! Even though it was freezing outside we jumped in the pool and jacuzzi and it was hot and welcoming for us. We cannot wait to come back for some adult time we are completely in love with Red Agave. Thank you for the memories.

Rebecca Z.

Yelp
We went up to escape the heat for three nights with our 5 month old baby and Red Agave gave the perfect opportunity. We booked one of the freestanding chalets which was perfect to socially isolate and the grounds were never crowded and people were very respectful of social distancing. The Slim Shady trail goes right off the hotel and made for great hiking in the morning. The kitchen provided a great opportunity to prepare meals and the staff at the hotel were very welcoming and kind. We would definitely stay here again. The chalets have air conditioning, grills outside and are well stocked.

Lindsay C.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing. I could not recommend this site enough. The views from the rooms were beautiful and having direct trail access less than a minute away was very helpful for early morning hikes. It is a 15 min (Very beautiful) drive to the downtown-more touristy areas so it is close enough to go back and forth throughout the day based on your needs. The area was very quiet and relaxing. Staff were super friendly and wore masks around residents who were wearing masks to help make all feel welcome and safe. Studio came with everything including pots, pans, utensils, and spatulas along with a fridge/freezer and stove top. Will definitely be returning!

Helen B.

Yelp
I loved this place! Our room was a clean and nicely decorated kitchenette. The property was immaculate and had direct access onto some beautiful hiking trails. Staff was friendly and helpful when I called in advance of our stay with some questions. And best of all, it's dog friendly!

Jessica B.

Yelp
I can't express enough how beautiful this resort is. We spent the weekend at Red Agave for our wedding. The location is beyond beautiful. The backdrop of the red rock on our photos came out amazing. It has a very calm and relaxing feeling to it. It is nice waking up and experiencing the beauty of the location. Trish was absolutely amazing the whole time we were planning our wedding. She even calmed me down towards the end when I would get in freak out mode. She is such an amazing person to work with. She definitely went above and beyond what she was expected to do. The rooms are beautiful, have everything you could need, and have a nice view. My new husband and I plan on staying there every year on our anniversary. Thanks Trish for everything. Jessica & Josh

Mark D.

Yelp
This is the view from the back patio. Amazing location and amazing property. Red Agave sits immediately adjacent to a natural area with quick access to bike and walking trails. Rooms are super clean, super comfortable,, and well equipped. I could not more highly recommend this property.

Rachel R.

Yelp
Amazing place! Chelsea is so sweet and accommodating. The views are incredible and the rooms are so clean, spacious and comfy!

Marty S.

Yelp
The atmosphere surrounding the resort is a 5+. The resort itself is a 5 from the outside. The rooms one rents here are a 3+. We are staying in one of the A-Frames. Not well designed. A spiral staircase - smaller then most of not all in existence - dominates the first floor. Spacey tabletop, lots of storage underneath and recycle friendly. Coffee pots can take up to 45 minutes to brew a 10-cup pot. Refrigerator opens - not on the side away from the staircase, which would make it much more ergonomic. The tiniest dishwasher I've seen outside of Japan. a 30-something" TV hangs out far too close to the staircase and isn't viewable from the couch or chair. Would be far better if it were located elsewhere. It makes going into the bathroom or entering the staircase an adventure unless you push it out of the way, which is easy to do, but not an obvious move for some people. The bathroom is nice. A countertop w/sink & big mirror. Access to the bottom bedroom and actual toilet/shower are through the bathroom. The bottom floor bedroom has a large closet and houses a wonderful King Sized bed. Extra blanket and an attractive duvet were easily found or removed and stored in the closet, which also held a good-sized dresser. Fans abound as well as 2 separate A/C units. I've not made it up the staircase so I cannot begin to describe that part, but I've heard no dissatisfaction from its inhabitants. The A-Frames are just one type of room available. The others are more representative of an actual extended stay hotel room. There is a gated pool, with fountain and a couple of hot tubs. + + Just the water flowing sounds are delightful. Most of the outdoor area is graveled with tables & umbrellas and chairs abounding. Landscaped to fit the locale, there are flower/plant gardens throughout. There is a grassy area in front of an amphitheater/alter area where weddings could take place. This was convenient for our group of 45 (the now-married couple rented the entire resort for the week). We met close to 40 new relatives and this was the first time since 1978 that all of us siblings have been together in one place w/o a funeral as the catalyst. Yay team! I am very grateful to my sister and brother in law for having chosen this place and made it easier for all of us to be together. Wonderful memories will include this resort forever. If you're a smoker there's even an on-site area for you to sit and inhale your tobacco flavored demise as you socialize with others and not far removed from any action taking place. I must admit it was the perfect locale for the wedding and accompanying festivities. My sister really planned this well (she's a project manager - go figure). The weather cooperated nicely as it was sunny with a few tiny lost clouds and in the low 90s during the days and low 60s in the evening/morning times. Many people took advantage of all of the above and went swimming/lounging, bike riding and hiking. The only accidents reported didn't require any professional medical help so that was a plus. My brother and I got to walk my sister through the resort and up to the grassy area and her waiting groom and our other 2 sisters along with the officiant. A 3:00 wedding and no one was uncomfortable because of the heat. There was a big tent provided with chairs for all and the picture taking that follows these events was right here on site where any and everyone to be included photographically could be found and have their poses struck easily and quickly. Overall a very nice choice for a wedding. As mentioned above, about 45-50 people and all were housed and gathered comfortably and in a small community setting. Outside of the price (hey, this is Sedona in September) I would dare say there aren't many places nicer and more fitting for what was planned here. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat if Sedona is your area of choice. The Red Agave Resort met all of our expectations and more.

Janay P.

Yelp
I was a little apprehensive (especially with everything going on w COVID) because most reviews were great but focused on the staff or the views. I was more concerned in knowing about how the room was and we were pleasantly surprised. Very clean, renovations are nice and the space was more than enough for the two of us. We stayed in one of the studios. We brought our meals/groceries so that we didn't need to go out and it was nice that each unit is separate so you can keep your distance from other guest. My only "eh" feeling is they don't require masks and we were the only guests that seemed to wear them. Pretty easy to keep your distance from others though. And the office staff was very sensitive to masks and would wear one when we came in the office and even kept used pens separate for later cleaning. We had so much fun and felt like we found a hidden gem. We definitely will be back, we really enjoyed our stay and wished we had more time. Thank you!

Yelp
Perfectly located by the Slim Shady trail (yup you read that right) and another short and very scenic hike right below the mountains. Spent a quieter Memorial Day Weekend here with a few girlfriends. It's a condo , family style spot. We brought in our own food and drink but pretty much everything else was provided: towels, toiletries, bedding, well provided kitchen. We managed to take a sunrise hike without difficulty. A lovely view to the outdoors. We o had to take out our own trash at the end of the overnight stay and put out the linens. Surprisingly quiet too although it was not too far from the Sedona main drag. Something about an energy Vortex around here but I'm not a new age-y person.

Yelp
I'm so disappointed and angry with this hotel. I'm out $439.82 of my hard earned money because the business said I could reschedule my reservation due to covid and then decided to not honor their promise. They seem to be unfamiliar with their own terms that they have with booking.com and as a result of that and them choosing to ignore me I have no recourse. If they would have just been honest from the beginning I would have given the reservation to a relative. Instead this business has $439.82 from me for nothing.

Yelp
We had the most amazing experience in this adorable little resort. Stunning views and all the amenities! Pool, spas, and cute bbq area. The gal that checked us in was a doll (can't remember her name :/) couldn't have asked for a better stay :)

Yelp
We booked one night in a studio and were upgraded to a chalet due to a problem with the AC. The chalet was so charming, roomy and very clean. The grounds and view is breathtaking. We loved that there was a hiking trail right off the grounds of the resort. It was nice to get up and go in the morning vs having to drive anywhere. The pool was perfect and easy to social distance in. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, so sleep was a little rough. But overall it was a great stay, and we'll definitely be back!

Yelp
This resort is so cute! Great location and has trails right off the back side of the resort. They have a great view of the mountains from the pool and outdoor hot tubs. They had s'mores by the fire pit. All of the accommodations are quaint and adorable. Close proximity to downtown Sedona as well. Would definitely stay there again !

Yelp
Our favorite place in Sedona. ... We've been visiting the Red Agave for years. In fact, sometimes we're a little bummed that the secret is out and a particular date is already booked. Dog-friendly, easy trail access, cook at home (with good BBQs!), s'mores at night and new beds... how can a little vacation be any better?

Yelp
The Red Agave was everything we were looking for surrounding our wedding. Beautiful and laid back! The cabins are nicely updated and the pool is amazing, with a breath taking view. When renting the resort for events make sure to discuss with staff who is supposed to be in each cabin before allowing guests to book, things got a bit confusing. Also, the contract should be more detailed when it comes to exactly what you are paying for (cabin prices and days). However, it is important to note everyone at the resort is very responsive and kind! We don't want too many rules, it would make the resort too commercial. They really let us do whatever we wanted! Our hope is to be back in a couple of years, (if they'll have us).

Yelp
My wife and I have been in Sedona a lot of times now. This is the best place we have found. Each tine we stayed in Sedona I wanted to out do each trip for her as she love the place so much. This by far is the best of the best. You will have a view that you will not beat anywhere. The people who work there are so friendly and want to make sure you are enjoying your trip. The trail heads are right at your door if your biking or hiking. Bell is right down the trail from your lodge. We will be back no need to out do this place because you can't!!!

Yelp
This is a quiet little hidden Gem nestled right outside downtown Sedona. It was perfect for my family of 4. The pool and 2 hot tubs are a bit small but really there aren't too many guests staying here right now anyway so it was no problem. A quick 10 minute drive into the heart of Sedona. The apartments are clean and beds are comfy. Updates have been made to the kitchen and bathrooms over the years. Gorgeous views of the red rocks/ Bell rock right outside the door. Loved it. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
Wow! This place is amazing! Trish the GM was so accommodating to us. She made sure our chalet was next to our friend's chalet. We got there at 10:30 in the morning not expecting to be able to check-in so early. Trish made sure our chalet was ready to go. When we walked in I was amazed at how well stocked everything was. We had everything we could ever ask for. Lots of seating areas, privacy for the bedroom, bath and loft, fully stocked towels, a kitchen with everything we could possibly want and need. Then we walked outside our door.... the most breathtaking views ever! Hiking trails began 5 feet from our door. The whole property was immaculate with views at every turn. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Perfect setup and location. The indoor and outdoor spaces were perfect. We went with friends and family. We had two neighboring chalets and a hotel room between all of us. Although not luxurious, everything was updated, beds were comfortable and we didn't lack for anything. If you're looking for a full-service hotel, this isn't it, but it was exactly what we were looking for. We shopped at at the supermarket down the street and cooked on the grills, hiked right from the resort. We hardly even went into the over-crowded Sedona village itself. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
Voted one of the most incredible room view in the world. I would agree. The resorts location is amazing!!! You can literally walk through the gate and hike or bike to some of the most famous Red Rock formations. (Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte) The resort is a hotspot for hikers and bikers. But, well designed for just relaxing. The rooms are not fancy, but nice and well stocked with all amenities such as large fridge, stove, coffee machine, microwave, utensils and so on. The grounds are immaculate and have several spots to enjoy the views, sip coffee or to meditate. There is heated pool and two Jacuzzi's for soothing your muscles after a long day or hiking. The hosts are friendly and can assist with any adventure you would like to pursue. Every night they light a fire and supply the ingredients for Smores. There are several restaurants located within walking distance. We would recommend the following, Tara Thai, Famous Pizza and The Red Rocks Café for breakfast. Also, if eating in is your thing. The resort has several gas grills onsite for your grilling pleasure and the supermarket is only two blocks away. We found a vortex within 2500ft from the resort, following the main trail to the first formation on the right. Cross the old river bed and start climbing the backside you will observe several small twisted cedar/pine type trees. Once there, you should feel the calmness. Also, look for the huge hanging rock, this is another great place for meditation. It is best to visit the website for additional information: www.redagaveresort.com Happy Trails

Yelp
We hosted our DIY wedding at the Red Agave and it was more than we could have ever imagined. Trish and her staff were wonderful and accommodating throughout the entire process. The resort itself is absolutely stunning! Red rock views and trails right on site, cozy chalets for everyone to stay, a pool to cool off during the day, AND a fire to gather around in the evenings. The sunset glow on the red rocks is incredible! We had such a magical wedding weekend dancing under the stars at this resort. Best memories! Do yourself a favor and BOOK THIS VENUE!

Yelp
The most beautiful place! Our chalet was comfy! Close to hiking trails and the view is breathtaking! Enjoyed the hot tub in the crisp night air...we visited in November and even got some snow!

Yelp
Couldn't be happier than with what we have found here. The chalet is perfect for our family of four. We parents get the private bedroom and the two kids get the spacious loft. The girls are so excited about their loft too which makes it that much more exciting. Our chalet is right across from the pool and we maybe have to walk 30 feet to get there. The chalet was very clean and well kept and the cooling system is on point. The kitchenette is fully stocked so you definitely have what you need to cook. And the fridge is full sized for any groceries you have. The grounds of the property are well kept and there are tables, chairs and BBQ grills in abundance. And the views! Holy smokes! Tremendous!!! We will definitely return here especially with it being so close to everything needed.
