Red & Blue Design Hotel Prague

Upon booking this hotel I contacted them as I wanted some beers in the room for hubby for his birthday. I also wanted to know if they could organise a taxi from the airport. Alena Medvedeva, the hotel manager got back to me really quickly. She arranged everything for me and let me know when she had sorted it for me. Alena even arranged for us to have a free room upgrade which was very much appreciated. Very very helpful. Upon arrival the taxi driver was waiting as promised. When we arrived at the hotel we found all the staff very pleasant and helpful. The room was lovely, everything worked, very clean. |The only thing I would say is that breakfast was a little limited, but still found something to eat.|The hotel is great location,close to some lovely bars and restaurants, within easy walking distance. |Would highly recommend this hotel. Thanks to all staff but especially Alena who was so helpful prior to arrival.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past few years, and each visit reminds me why I keep coming back. Highly recommended, especially for those who value excellent service and a truly personal touch.

Beautiful spacious hotel room. Very clean and comfortable. Has all amenities you need to make your hotel stay comfortable. Just a short walk to the city centre and close to the main tram route.

This was a wonderful hotel to stay in for many reasons. We walked into the city every day and it was not far, yet far enough out of the city to be a restful place to stay. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and were serviced every day. The staff are really friendly, helpful and courteous throughout the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and again the staff there were very friendly and helpful. I really liked not being near a busy main road as it meant we could sleep well after a day of walking on our city break. The view from our room over the city was quite spectacular, especially at night when everything was lit up. We were there in February and it had just snowed, so it was quite magical. I would certainly return to this hotel again as it provides a peaceful stay, comfort and very friendly staff.

Really nice hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful- even when we decided to go down around 9pm on our first night to book a tour for the next day. All was sorted no problem and got picked up for the tour at 9.20 the next morning. Location is excellent, tram stop just a two minite walk away, making it great for exploring. Also lovely cafes and restraunts closeby. We did get breakfast first morning but personally we werent impressed (mostly cold meats etc) so we had breakfast out all other days. Room was nice and comfortable bed. Not disturbed by any noise. If going to Prague would certainly recommend this hotel.

There were Problems right from the start the Stay. AC was broken for the whole stay 3 nights. First night I was Told there were no fans available. Next day spoke to manager and they said they had plenty. Lost a nights sleep sweating in an overheated room. Mini Fridge opened and smelled like fish did not cool at all. Reported to front desk was told they would fix it was never fixed Phone in room broken reported to front desk and it was never fixed. I had to go downstairs to make requests. Front desk was missing for over 10 minutes. Did not apologize or anything said he was there now. No ice at bar for the whole stay. One time They told me to wait they would make some. I Waited 10 minutes, I asked when it would be ready they said it would take a few hours. I was very confused why they asked me to wait. They then said they would bring to my room and they never did. Since phone did not work I could never reach them to ask again. Staff Is either too inexperience, lazy or they just don’t care. The Place is terrible for customer service. Never heard it’s not my fault from a staff this much. I have Never been treated so poorly. Only pros were the bed was comfy and the location of the hotel was good. I would never stay here again.

Hotel is beautiful building but ultra modern inside. It was lovely and clean, slept well but nowhere to sit and relax with the weird modern chairs. Night staff not v helpful and sat in the back room watching tv had to shout to get his attention, day staff seemed nice. It was spotless, bed really big, nice size bathroom with bath & separate shower, 2 sinks for his and hers and a safe to use in the wardrobe

Hotel was beautiful. Rooms spacious and had what you required for a weekend stay. Had to ask for coffee everyday for the room but not much of a problem. The only problem we found was the staff were not friendly or helpful at all. No welcome at all. And when you asked a question it seemed to be a problem for them to answer. They really let the hotel down. It was a pleasant 15-20 mins walk to the town and only cost between £3.00 - £4.00 for a bolt taxi . Wouldn’t go back due to the staff.
