Red & Blue Design Hotel Prague

We love this hotel, our third time staying as an adult family of 3. The hotel is incredibly conveniently situated a 10 minute walk from Charles bridge, either by the shops of the river and the magnificent buildings. The most magical city, easy access to the old town, Jewish quarter and castle ( I’m lazy and it’s easy). Breakfast is lovely, the staff attentive, fabulous scrambled eggs!! We had a family room, emailed before we went to ask for an upgrade as it was our 30 th wedding anniversary and our 3rd visit, we got the standard room but at least our son had a proper bed so all good. Check in and out very efficient and we could check our bags in when we checked out at 11, free, so we were able to make the most of our time before being picked up for the airport. Highly recommend Prague as its stunning, ideally situated hotel, quiet but a nice amble to everything. Thanks

We arrived at the hotel st around 9.30pm after a flight delay and long queues at Prague Airport. The hotel bar had no beer no cider no gin and no red wine and very little stock so no arrival drinks for our party. Two of pur 3 rooms were spacious but the third more cramped and near to the lift so very noisy during the night. Continental breakfast was fine but the hot options were limited and on 2 of 3 days included steamed vegetables which seemed an odd breakfast item. Our wardrobe door handle was broken and the carpet n our room was stained. Room cleaning was just a towel exchange and Bed tidy. Bins weren't emptied. One towel had a hole in it. Our pillows were hard and lumpy but the bed mattress was comfortable. Our room had a safe which was a plus and the day reception staff were very helpful. At night one person manned both reception and the bar. Overall we were disappointed with the standard...more a 3 star than a 4 star hotel. A 15 minute walk to Charles Bridge so it's position was suitable for us.

The hotel was lovely and exactly like the photos on the website. The breakfast was very basic but adequate.|It was between a 15-20 minute walk to the Christmas Market and there were shops to browse in on the way.|We went to all 3 of the markets but the cathedral one was a lot quieter but was still nice to visit.|It was so magical, it was lovely.|I would only recommend 3 night stay if you are only going for Christmas Market.|Would definitely recommend the hotel as the beds were lovely n comfy and the tram stops were only 2 minutes away from hotel. I would also advise to download the Bolt App for taxi's otherwise you may get ripped off!

The location of the hotel is close enough to the excellent transport system that Prague offers. The presentation of the hotel is clean fresh and modern. The staff are very accommodating in your requests. The hotel manager is friendly and approachable and will go the extra mile for you with your requests. The room was clean modern and warm and comfortable. The room was made up every day with fresh towels if required and the beds made. The hotel is a good choice 4 star hotel offers everything you need for your visit to the Czech capital. The room offered good overall value and the bar prices beat the prices in the city. 2 Euro a bottle of beer. The rooms at the front overlooking the road and park opposite are not overly effected by the road traffic and it was easy to sleep and not get woken up by the noise.

Pros: Friendly staff, just outside of Old Town and within walking distance. Near to public transport. Not too much noise from other guests/road heard. Beds comfy.||Negatives: Our floor stunk of weed every day, silverfish in bathroom, shower hard to operate (either boiling or freezing), dirty glasses on arrival. ||Overall: A basic room so if you wanted to spend a bit of time in the hotel, its probably not for you. Good for our needs as we were out all day but can be improved. Definately not 4* in my opinion but nonetheless an OK hotel.

Stayed here for just one night with my husband while spending the weekend in Prague. It’s an interesting hotel in a very convenient location, with almost immediate access to buses and trams (great if you’re coming or going from the train station!) The rooms were comfortable and clean and service is good. Overall a decent experience and not a place I’d be averse to staying at again in the future. It was fun to place bets on whether our room would be red or blue before we saw it, lol! (it was red)

We booked the room via voyages prive and had asked for special room for my birthday : supposed to be an executive room and bottle of wine at our arrival. Upon getting there, zero welcome, unsmiling and gives us a standard room. Getting in the room, we realize the mistake made and no wine. Went back to reception where the man says, he will check but he upgrades only after I told him there was no way that was an executive room / no wine. The 2nd room was slightly better but stuffy, outdated decor and breakfast included was better. Overall, great location but I wouldn't stay there again.

This was my 2nd visit to this hotel, mainly due to it being conveniently located very close to the city centre with reliable transport links and many good food spots. As expected, the customer service was really great. Overall I enjoyed my stay again but one thing to note was the room that I stayed in this time seemed a little outdated with the decor, however, this was not a huge issue.
