The host really made us feel like family. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The view from the front porch upstairs was awesome. Breakfast was delicious and very filling. We shared the cottage with a family from Denmark and a father and daughter from Columbia. Much better than a hotel. We will definitely stay there again!

We stayed at the Red Bluff Cottage while in town for the Auburn Football game. It is so homey, cozy, quaint...My husband and I just love it there:) The couple that own it are very nice, welcoming people. They made our stay so comfortable and stress free. Breakfast is just delightful. The food is home cooked with love and care by the owner, and served in the lovely dining room. We truly enjoyed visiting with the other guests and the wonderful owners over breakfast. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was quiet and peaceful. Much more so than a hotel. We will most definitely go back! It is our new found weekend getaway!

We had a wonderful Anniversary celebration. Our hosts made a wonderful and healthy breakfast and treated us like family! I would highly recommend Red Bluff Bed and Breakfast to anyone traveling to Montgomery. A gorgeous house and the rooms are beautiful but the hospitality was our favorite!!!!!

Absolutely excellent accommodation for our romantic / business getaway... authentic southern hospitality in a beautiful and loving home! Bonnie and Barry share their magic touch by transporting their guests back to a nostalgic era rich in history. Could not have had a better accent to the Montgomery experience, we highly recommend taking the time to slow down and enjoy the good life at Red Bluff Cottage 💗

A great B&B with a wonderful host. The breakfast was so delicious. The bed was very comfortable and our room was well equiped. This B&B is conveniently located within walking distance, or a short drive, of many restaurants, museums and the Riverwalk park. Unfortunately, the park was closed due to dangers of flooding when we were there.

What a wonderful get away and so relaxing. Bonnie was the hostess with the mostess!! So accommodating, yet gave you your time to relax and rest. VERY close to the Riverfront activities in Montgomery and a fantastic alternative to staying in the hotels. Highly recommend staying here for any visit to the Capital City.

Very friendly wife and husband owned cottage. Awesome amenities and breakfast service. Nice outdoor patio space for chilling after a day of visiting downtown. Easy to walk to downtown and the riverfront area.

Only stayed 2 nights, but breakfast was served with different napkin rings each day. (Day 1 they were shaped like pineapples and day 2 they were shaped like tea kettles). I suspect there are other napkin rings too, but you may want to verify with the host prior to your travels if you plan to stay longer.

Yelp
Our stay at the Red Bluff Cottage was fantastic! The owners (Bonnie and Barry) are an incredibly sweet couple, and they definitely make you feel welcome. We stayed in the Rose Room for four nights while visiting. Although the Rose Room is one of the smaller rooms there, there was plenty of room for me and my wife along with our 4yr old daughter who slept in an inflatable toddler bed. Our bed had a very comfortable mattress and we all slept great! The cottage is located very close to downtown Montgomery (walking distance actually), and it is also just off of the interstate so very easy to get around during your stay. Breakfast each morning was fantastic. Some B&B's only offer a continental breakfast, but at Red Bluff you get a full hot breakfast, cooked by Bonnie each morning. There was also a mini-fridge downstairs with complimentary water and soda along with a Keurig coffee maker in the lounge for coffee anytime. I really can't think of anything negative to say about our stay. The only caveats would be that there are stairs up-to the house from the parking area (off street in back), and the dining room and lounge are upstairs from the bottom floor where all the guest rooms are located. Not an issue for us, but could be for someone with physical limitations. The rooms also do not have TVs (which again was not an issue for us), but there is a TV upstairs in the lounge if desired. All-in-all just a great place and we will absolutely stay there again if we return to the area.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this gem during a recent family road trip when another B&B owner recommended we call the Red Bluff Cottage. Barry & Bonnie were delightful! The bedroom was large and attractive. They have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable - 800 thread count sheets, soft towels and soft toilet paper. We called a number of hotels/B&B's and the Red Bluff Cottage was one of the lowest priced rooms we found. Breakfast was delicious. Fresh fruit salad with vanilla Greek yoghurt and then on to Belgian waffles with all the fixens. Our family really enjoyed our stay and we look forward to returning.

Yelp
Not a bad place to stay, as long as you're ready for the B&B experience. This is my first time at a B&B so I wasn't sure what to expect. It's more like staying in someone's home than an inn or hotel. Breakfast here was delicious and changed everyday. The owners are very conscious of your needs and make sure to include any dietary requirements when they make breakfast. The bedrooms are lovely, if a little old fashioned. The beds are very comfortable, and it's nice and cozy, even on a cold night. There's a common area with a TV and DVD player, with tons of DVDs, so if you're bored, there's always that. But you'll find plenty to do in Montgomery. The owners have a binder of info in the room, but it's a little out of date, so double check things online. (They have free wifi, so you're all set there). Overall, I quite enjoyed the stay, but it might not be for everyone. If you're not into socializing with the owners or other guests, the B&B might not be for you. Otherwise, it's quite nice.

Yelp
We've been looking at pictures of our drive trip through Alabama in March and remembering the special time we had at the Red Bluff Cottage. The spacious rooms decorated with period antiques and artwork complimented by modern bathrooms and amenities made the charm of Montgomery come alive. Our hosts were so welcoming and the breakfasts were gourmet treats. Naturally, we ate too much all too willingly. We will be back with more of our family in tow to enjoy this unique experience. Thank you!

Yelp
I stayed here while in town for the state bar exam. The place is located less than a mile from the bar exam testing center, so the location was extremely convenient for me. The location is nice, but the room I stayed in was outstanding... the bed was comfortable, and the owners were extremely accommodating. The breakfasts were each delicious, and they were willing to wake up crazy early on my account to cook, knowing that I had to leave to prepare myself for the exam early each morning. I recommend this place to anyone taking the bar exam.. It is substantially less expensive when compared to the bar exam hotel and those in the area, and it is right up the hill from the test site.
