This is such a nice hidden gem! It's very clean and beautiful on the inside, and the staff was really friendly. The food itself was affordable and delicious! I ordered the hot and sour soup and it was absolutely perfect. What's even more amazing though is the fried rice. You really would think that fried rice would just be what you would get at any other Chinese food restaurant but this rice was so amazingly compact with flavor. I literally have never had better fried rice. It's a must order if you go. I will definitely be back and next time with more people. 😀

We were one of the very few Asian diners in the entire restaurant — including the staff — which already gave us a sense that this wasn’t your typical Chinese spot. It definitely didn’t have the feel or energy of a classic Chinese restaurant. The crispy beef was solid, but nothing that stood out — about on par with what you’d get at Joe’s Shanghai. The pan-fried seafood noodles were also decent, though the squid had a noticeably fishy taste. Given the location being so close to Sunset Park, it’s hard to justify coming here over the many great local Chinatown spots nearby. The lack of Asian diners probably speaks for itself.

Highly recommend this excellent restaurant. Service is amazing and respectful and the food is high quality and delicious and the lunch specials are reasonably priced. The whole decor is beautiful even the bathrooms are stunning.

My husband & I had a delicious dinner this evening at Red Bowl. Not only was the food fantastic & flavorful, but the service was also impeccable. I must mention our server Juan specifically. Not only was he so pleasant & polite, but he also went above & beyond with service. I’m so happy we have Red Bowl as a restaurant option in Bay Ridge. Looking forward to eating there again soon. Thank you Red Bowl‼️

Google
I almost never go to Bay Ridge, but when I heard that this restaurant was good, I had to take a trip to try it for myself. It had a really great atmosphere, a bar upfront, and a lot of space to accommodate quite a few people. The food was great. I tried their Sesame Chicken and my girl; the crispy beef, which is very similar to the Sesame Chicken. Overall, the experience we had was good, we both liked the food, and the drinks were OK. The next time we visit, the bar would be the better option for sitting as it offers a better atmosphere for couples.

Google
I’ve never had a bad experience in this place since day one of coming here. Where to start , how to start? Don’t know if I want to start with the amazing personality of the owners and the family running the place, the top notch service when waiting to be seated and once seated or the…not just great taste, but, the excellent quality of the food. Yes, taste and quarter two different things and Red Bowls food has both rolled into one. So back to my original question…where to start, how to start. Well I just think I’m not going to write a review to them, I think you just need to experience Red Bowls owners and family amazing personalities, the top notch service and tasteful quality food for yourself. The truth is we love place everything about it, and, I’m glad that we eat there and became friendly with the owners

We usually order food home, and unfortunately, we used to order from this place. When we ordered these shrimp rolls, they came with a bandage on them from someone who had hurt themselves. What worries me is that there could have been blood contamination in my food, and maybe other people's. I would recommend that the restaurant evaluate the sanitation in their kitchen in a more efficient manner.

We went on Valentine’s Day without a reservation and still got a table after waiting for a while at the bar. All server were attentive and they all worked very hard. We got the Chong Qing Chicken, Lo Mein and Double cooked pork. Double cooked pork was one of the best dishes but I wished they put a little more meat in it. All the dishes came out hot, quick and savory! You wouldn’t want to miss out on this place in Bay Ridge!

Yelp
Red Bowl is a great addition to the dining choices in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn - a neighborhood well know for great food and drink. We have enjoyed a number of dinners here since it opened - every one a wonderful dining experience. Once you walk into Red Bowl you notice a very attractive decor and the wonderful scent of spices. We normally order an assortment of appetizers - each of which was expertly prepared, beautifully presented and delicious. My wife and I have tried a wide range of menu items. Each was expertly prepared, nicely presented and simply delicious. Service has always been attentive, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We can highly recommend this excellent Chinese restaurant. It's one of our favorites of all types of restaurants.

Yelp
Plan B for Chinese food has been found in Brooklyn, or at least southern Brooklyn. I can understand why this restaurant gets busy, why many people prefer to order here, all you have to do is take one bite. It does not take a genius to figure it out. All of the food is fresh and tastes great. The portion sizes are plentiful and prices are more than reasonable for what you can expect for a New York City chinese restaurant. The 1980's music in the background combined with attentive wait staff make for a pleasant experience. It was fun to eat to Wang Chung, the Human League, and other New Wave bands of the decade. I really hope they do not use MSG in their food. That is cheating to me. It adds flavor and holds the food better, but it also makes the food more salty and less healthy to eat. However, the service is part of the reason I give this restaurant more than three and a half stars. I will be back to try other items.

Yelp
Let's face it, it's really hard to find a good Chinese food restaurant in Brooklyn. I'm talking authentic not a greasy spoon that serves mediocre food at a bargain price. Luckily, Red Bowl has given Bay Ridge residents a taste of what Chinese food should taste like. It was a rainy Saturday night and on these damp winter nights, Chinese food provides comfort and warmth. Red Bowl's decor feels like I'm dining in Miami Beach with the main dining room's suede chairs pink and green, brick walls and a soft lighting. There is a beautiful fish tank to distract you. The bar is spacious and a cool place to dine as well. Red Bowl offers authentic dishes and menu is organized by vegetables, noodles, specials there are no combination plates. The appetizers are a nice selection from scallion pancakes, spring rolls, to Dim Sum. We ordered an egg roll and steamed chicken dumplings. The egg roll was a nice portion and not greasy, which is great. The chicken dumplings were also delicious accompanied by a light dipping sauce. My friends really enjoyed the Mongolian Beef, flank steak with scallions and onions over brown rice with broccoli and the Pork lo Mein. My dish, shrimp with mixed vegetables, was equally delicious: nice sized shrimp with a delicious assortment of carrots, pea pods, mushrooms, broccoli, zucchini, onions and water chestnuts over brown rice. I was the only one who ordered dessert: pistachio gelato with crushed pistachios.Heavenly. The service was excellent and very attentive. Now that we have an authentic Chinese restaurant it would be nice to see some things return: a pot of Chinese tea complimentary for the table, chopsticks.. Red Bowl offers Lunch Specials starting @$13 weekdays. Red Bowl is accessible by R train to 86th Street or B16 bus to 85th and 3rd. Xie Xie Red Bowl!

Yelp
One of the best Chinese spots around ( sanitary version) soup dumplings 9/10, cucumber salad 10/10, low mein noodles 10/10 , drinks 10/10, chicken bao buns amazing , pork bao great too , they did not bring me lemons until the end of the meal which is annoying ( both times I dined same thing happened ) but that's not a deal Breaker . Would most definitely return. Oh and wings were eh

Yelp
A must-try modern Chinese restaurant! Prices are pretty fair considering the consistent quality of food and service you get. All the staff are super attentive and courteous. The restaurant is designed luxuriously, giving welcoming and quality vibes. Inside is very spacious, and the bathroom downstairs is just amazingly clean and sleek. My favorite from the menu has to be the spicy rock shrimp, which never fails to disappoint. Spicy rock shrimp $14 (5/5) - You have to give this starter a try, as it's a game-changer! There's a nice kick of spice in the sauce, and is a good-sized portion. Scallion pancakes $7 (3.5/5) - good but a lot thinner than I expected. Personally I would have liked it to be doughier and chewier. BBQ Boneless Ribs, basically char siu $11 (5/5) - really enjoyed this one as the meat was juicy and saucy; the flavoring on the ribs are sweet and salty, and comes with some chopped cabbage underneath. Sizzling Crispy Duck $35 (5/5) - didn't know what to expect as I never had this before. Came on a sizzling plate with lots of veggies under the duck, and ofc a bowl of rice. The skin is diff from Peking duck as the outer skin seems fried. Half Roasted Peking Duck $35 (3/5) - skin was really crispy, but tasted a lil bland. Came with wraps, julienned cucumbers, hoisin sauce, and a bowl of rice.

Yelp
Delicious!! First time here on a recommendation. Very accommodating if you don't have a reservation. Service was impeccable and respectful. Prices are excellent. Portions are very large. Very clean Chinese food. Not a humongous menu but enough. Starters - spring rolls which were just ok. Spicy rock shrimp with rice noodles (underneath) Amazing flavor - not too spicy. So large for a starter!! Sesame chicken - amazing Shrimp and cashew nuts - very large clean meaty shrimp. Vegetable fried rice Vanilla ice cream always a pleasure (or a habit) after Chinese. I'd go back in a heartbeat

Yelp
One of the best Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood. Good quality food and great prices. Place is decorated so also a good choice for an indoor experience. Ordered the shrimp in walnut sauce, sesame chicken, crispy beef and fried crab Rangoon. Everything was excellent and portions are large enough to share among 2-3 people. Service is also great, they will accommodate if you want to add more spice or change to white meat chicken. They have lunch specials on weekdays.

Yelp
Honestly it's just okay for me. Quite pricey for average Chinese food. Even lunch special is over priced

Yelp
I am a stickler when it comes to Chinese food in the sense that I'd rather go to Panda Express instead of the places I've tried as they lacked flavors or didn't hit the spot the way they should. So after combing through tons of Yelp reviews for a Chinese place in my back pocket, I added this restaurant to my list to try and kept my eye on it for a while. On a casual Friday night, my husband and I decided to grab some Chinese food for dinner and immediately, I knew I wanted to try Red Bowl. Friday night + no cooking = easy night. That is a win win in my book. With four boys, we opted for takeout instead of dining in. My husband called to place an order and when I asked him how service was over the phone, he said the woman who took his order was nice and kind. For dinner, we chose the Spicy Rock Shrimp, Beef Chow Fun, Vegetable Fried Rice and Chicken and Broccoli. Solid, I'd have to admit but with some very minor downfalls. The Rock Shrimp was the best but everything else tasted really good too. Not very spicy for us, but had a nice kick. Fried rice was tasty and my kids tore up the Chicken and Broccoli - it was the first dish to go. Chicken was cooked well, not dry and the texture was silky and soft. The cook on the broccoli tasted great. Chow fun is one of Hubby and my go-tos and while the noodle texture was cooked to perfection, we thought it needed more seasoning and flavor. The beef in it was pretty amazing though. Overall, the chow fun was good, but it was kind of bland and we were left wanting more. Portions looked sort of small AT FIRST, but actually fed our family of 6 with plenty of leftovers. I'd try it again and get other dishes, for sure.

Yelp
My review is based on take out only. Based on the price tag of the entrees you can assume you are receiving a premium quality item and also larger portions. I ordered the lunch special chicken with broccoli and chose the hot and sour soup. I also got the beef chow mein. I asked if I can have a different vegetable or mixed vegetable but anything other than broccoli was an up charge. For a $12 lunch special another up charge would bring this up to full price for a lunch special size. The soup was so peppery it was inedible. Message to the chef, please omit this ingredient. The lunch special was a typical Chinese takeout quality. I chose garlic sauce and it was spicy so beware, definitely more of a Szechuan flare. The beef chow fun was tasty and it was my first time trying so I have nothing to compare to. The beef was tender and flavorful and the noodles accompanied them well. It was a large portion and can be easily shared with 3-4 people. Overall I think the food quality is good and is of a higher standard than your average takeout joint but may be enjoyed more if you dine in and share

Yelp
I heard great things about this place so we decided to give it a try. Close to closing, we decided to order for pick up. My husband went over to pick up and they were having trouble with their Apple Pay and refused to take his card number manually. This place is a good 15 minute walk from our place, so when he came back home I called to ask them to deliver the food instead. They sent over the food but by the time it got here it was cold and soggy. We had the Rock Shrimp which tasted like it was fried in old oil. The crispy chicken Bao Buns were mid, I've had better. It was literally one piece of fried chicken stuffed in between a bun, dry and bland. Crab Rangoon was the highlight of our meal and even then I have had better at the Chinese restaurant down the block. I really wanted this to be a good experience but I guess we caught them on a bad day. Definitely not worth the $50. Won't be trying again.

Yelp
Disgusting people are vaping inside, went to sit on table accidentally seen cooks cook food very unsanitary. Please clean up your act .

Yelp
Some of theeeee best Chinese food in Brooklyn! So good, i would drive all the way from Flatbush (in crazy traffic) to Bayridge just to get takeout! i just recently moved, so sadly, Red Bowl's delicious food is no longer available to me, but i'd be remiss if i didn't applaud them for their well-seasoned and well-executed flavors, great customer service, and overall beautiful vibes emanating from their dining room. Next time i'm home i'm definitely visiting Red Bowl. Whatever you order there, it's bound to be superb.

Yelp
Ordered via Uber eats . Food was delivered hot and well packaged . The food also looked good and was plentiful . As some others have mentioned , this place is not the cheapest of Chinese restaurants . The chicken itself from my meal was a real shame . It had no depth of seasoning or much flavor outside of the deep fried outer crust which also didn't offer much crunch or crispness . It was rather disappointing eating. I tasted the general tso chicken and it was alot better. Maybe it was because of the smaller pieces or the richness of the sauce that could cover up flaws . I'd say they aren't totally inept with cooking chicken but I was too turned off by my meal to care about trying this restaurant again .

Yelp
Red Bowl is stellar. Solid fresh food every single time. Dishes do not come overly sauced but perfectly balanced. Vegetables are steamed perfect. The amount of shrimp they give you with the shrimp fried rice is at least an entire small bowl full, which is more than most restaurants. Quality here for sure. The black pepper beef udon is outstanding as well as the fried rice. My partner enjoys the garlic broccoli but I have never had it. Probably, if not, the best Chinese cuisine in the area.

Yelp
Food is delicious and the service is always great no matter what time of day or evening you're there at.

Yelp
Came in for the lunch special which is from M-F from 12-4 PM. Comes with a soup (egg drop, wonton, and hot and sour) that you can choose from or an egg roll. I opted to go for the wonton soup and Seasme chicken as my entree. Upon arrival you can tell that Red Bowl is really well-kept, modern and looks pretty fancy compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area. Wonton soup tasted pretty good, had 2 pieces. Sesame chicken was crispy and plump. It also came with rice and broccoli as well, which helps balance out the tangy flavor of the chicken. The hostess lady was extremely nice, which offered me to sit at the bar while I wait for my food and even offered me water for which so I respectfully declined. Food came out fairly quickly in less than 10 minutes. Special costed $12 which came out to be a little over $13 after taxes. Overall good experience, a solid and filling lunch.

Yelp
Went to Red Bowl for the first time on Friday. Had reservations for two. We walked in and were pleasantly greeted and seated. We started with Lychee martinis. They were very good. For dinner we ordered hot & sour soup and wonton soup. Then we had egg rolls and pan-fried dumplings. For our entree, we had roast pork fried rice and shrimp with lobster sauce. Everything was delicious! We were too full for dessert, so the waiter brought us cubed pineapple and fortune cookies. The staff was pleasant and eager to please. The restaurant was immaculate - another plus! It was a little noisy, but to be expected in a family-friendly restaurant. We will definitely be back! It was a great meal!

Yelp
Nice family style food, every dish was packed with flavor but just be aware of the amount of food that comes out with each dish. service was okay and took a while to come but the food made up for it

Yelp
Dined at Red Bowl Chinese in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NY, as I was craving Americanized Chinese cuisine. Ordered crispy beef, General Tso's, and pea pods with water chestnuts. Crispy beef was incredible. Sweet and crunchy. Asked for general Tso's to be spicy, but it just wasn't to my liking. Every restaurant makes it differently, you know? Pea pod dish was incredible but similarly priced to meat dishes. The service was excellent. Seems family run. The waiter was very friendly. Ambiance is nice with an aquarium. Not crowded for dinner despite dining on a Saturday night. Parking is very difficult. Found a spot far away after looking for 20 minutes on a Saturday night.

Yelp
Though I've been told that the Red Bowl Chinese restaurant had been here for a couple of months it wasn't until just the other day that a friend suggested we stop in for a bit of lunch. As I am ALWAYS game to try a new place in my neighborhood I jumped at the chance. We were greeted by the manager and quickly seated in one of the booths just past the bar area. There is a sizable bar but no one seated at this since it was very early in the day. I also didn't recall the ability to just do that if you wished. We decided on the lunch menu options and they are loaded with the standard fair that one finds in such an establishment which is never a bad thing to me. I opted for a bowl of Egg Drop soup and my friend the Spring Roll and for the main courses an order of General Tso's Chicken for me and Shrimp w Lobster Sauce for my friend. Within minutes the starters came out and I am happy to report that the soup was very tasty. It was not a day for soup at all considering the almost 100 degrees heat, but I wanted to see how they did theirs and I was happy with the result. The main courses came out shortly afterwards and I liked the presentation. My chicken dish was on one side of the plate with the opted for white rice on the other. Since the shrimp dish is on the saucy side my friends came in a bowl with the rice in a separate container and a plate to blend them together. I love the level of heat in mine as it was spicy but not too much and since my friend let me sample their dish, I can say that this was very tasty as well. After this we decided to have some dessert and had orders of green tea ice cream and pistachio cheesecake. Well done across the board. Aesthetically speaking this is a lovely restaurant with spacious tables and booths. The main dining room is towards the back and under the glass enclosed structure. Very nice looking for sure. The staff was friendly and quick and they checked on how we were doing and if anything else was needed. I didn't detect an open WiFi but since I was mainly there to eat I didn't care about my email at the time. Now it's not a secret that Bay Ridge has NUMEROUS takeout Chinese Restaurants and while some of them offer you the means to sit down and dine, they are nothing like this. This harkens back to the days of Lum Chin and dare I say Lamps of China for those who remember that time in Bay Ridge history. It's so nice to have a proper sit-down Chinese restaurant in Bay Ridge again after so long not having a place of this size. I highly recommend Red Bowl and will be back there again soon.

Yelp
Conveniently located 1 block away from the subway, Red Bowl is a great and authentic Chinese restaurant. We came for a baby shower and the food and service was amazing. If anything, I'm actually super impressed by the service and recommend coming here. In terms of decor, they had their holiday decorations up in the greenhouse/sunroom and it was very tastefully done. For anyone looking to plan a large group dinner or do a date, I would recommend you try to sit in that patio room because of the great decor

Yelp
So excited to have red bowl in Bayridge! I couldn't wait to come in and try it as soon as I saw the sign go up. They have an absolutely gorgeous interior Where you could easily have a party or just go out and enjoy a nice meal with friends or family. They also have a lunch special Mon- Friday. I got the mapo tofu lunch special and the portion was very generous. We mostly ordered appetizers to share and everything we tried was delicious but the stand out items were the rock shrimp and scallion pancakes. I can't wait to come back and enjoy a meal here again.

Yelp
Came by as the place looked nice from the outside and I wanted to support a new local business. I decided to order take out and I went to pick it up as I wanted to see the place. When I called in the order they were nice on the phone and had the food ready in under 15 minutes which was great! Most restaurants on a Saturday night after 6:30 pm might take up to an hour. Upon entering they have a beautiful bar area( see my photos). The have a few booths and a two other large rooms from what I observed at a quick glance. The bar was pretty full and overall the restaurant was busy. Nice to see as they have only been open for a few weeks. The restaurant looks very nice overall from just walking in about 40 feet. The person who rang up my order was extremely nice and we talked al little about the business. I told him I would write a review as there were only 4 reviews so far. Ok, so now to the food. I ordered Steamed Chicken Dumplings, Rock Shrimp , Chicken Pad Thai, and Beef Lo Mein. The best dish was the Rock Shrimp it had good flavor and a nice kick. The Steamed Chicken Dumpling were good. I was a little disappointed with the other two dishes. The beef Lo Mein for some reason was oily and did not have much taste. It was really bland. The Pad Thai was bland and the only way to introduce some flavor was to squeeze the lime on it. I know they have only been open a few weeks, I hope the manager will read my review and work to improve the flavor of those dishes. I am providing constructive feedback as I want them to succeed. Everyone I spoke with was nice and I will wait a few weeks and decide if I will go back. I would recommend them and I would say that I think people most will have a good time.

Yelp
Most noteworthy was the great customer service. Once you walk into the door the waiters will try their best to get to know you and make you feel comfortable. My boyfriend and I ordered: crispy fish fillet, spicy cumin lamb, fried rice with Chinese sausage, and hot and sour soup on the side. Really recommend these dishes unless you can't handle spicy then you might need to reconsider the spicy cumin lamb. Overall, I love the sense of neighborhood vibes and would recommend if you are ever in the Bay Ridge/BK area!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this cute Chinese restaurant in bay ridge one day. My wife and I decided to go in to try and it is beautiful inside. It was huge and they also have 2 rooms that can host private parties. We started off with the fried calamari. First time having it this style and it was surprisingly good. Came with duck sauce and paired really well together. Wasn't oily but full of flavor. Singapore Meifun was delicious! The curry flavor was excellent and so was the spice level. A lot of places I go for this, the shrimp gets over cooked but it was cooked perfectly. All the ingredients were very fresh as well The Chongqing chicken was my first time ever having. Our server recommended it to us. It's fried pieces of chicken mixed with chili peppers. If you like spicy, then definitely get this dish. It's so aromatic and flavorful If you're wondering how this place is named Red Bowl, get the hot and sour soup. It comes in a red bowl. It was really comforting and was good for the soul Egg roll was crunchy, flavorful, and not too oily. Service was excellent. Would come back again!

Yelp
Didn't expect much as I was in for a quick lunch with my girlfriend was pleasantly surprised by how fast and tasty the food was. The environment was lively and welcoming while the service was also top notch. We ordered 3 dishes ( Fried fish, spicy cumin lamb, and fried rice) pair with a hot and sour soup. The food came quick and the waiters even came over to speak with us and make conversation. If you live in Brooklyn this is a really nice restaurant that should be added to anyone's go-to list.

Yelp
Went again last night with my family and Red Bowl continues to turn out wonderfully delicious and fresh food. Very ample sized portions so we always have leftovers. Staff and service are top notch. Sesame chicken is my go to, which is always superb. This time we ordered desserts which did not disappoint. These included chocolate fondant cake, which my nieces loved and the exotic bomba. I think that's what it was called. It was mango, passion fruit and raspberry sherbet enveloped in a white chocolate shell. Oh my! Words cannot describe how decadent and refreshing this was. Wish I could rate this place higher than five stars.

Yelp
Food so good -great variety and superb and friendly service! Bay Ridge was missing a good sit down Asian restaurant but so happy we. Ie have Red Bowl!

Yelp
Best Chinese food in Bay Ridge. Attentive and friendly service. Not cheap, but a fair value for a quality enjoyable meal.

Yelp
Very good, new. Wings are sooooooo bomb. Can do date night or casual. Best of luck in this new location

Yelp
This place is perfection. The ambiance, food, and service surpass all expectations. My favorite menu items are the orange chicken (by far the best I've ever had), white garlic sauce broccoli, and veggie lo mein. Honorable mention to the steamed pork dumplings, wonton soup, cashew chicken, and baby bok choy. This place is UNREAL. By far the best in Brooklyn. They deserve all the praise and all the business. Don't miss out on going here!!

Yelp
Great experience. We came as a group of 10 when they opened at 12pm to celebrate a graduation. They were easily able to accommodate us. Its a nice space but it's a little on the small side. I can see it filling up quickly so it's probably best to get there earlier rather than later. The space is beautifully decorated, the chairs are comfortable and the service staff were nice. The Food...I saved the best for last. They have a lunch special Mon to Fri from 12pm to 4pm for around $12. The entree comes with white rice and either a soup or spring roll. I shared the crab rangoon, the fried wontons and the young chow rice with the group. The rice was great it had plenty of nice sized shrimp and tasted delicious. I had the sesame chicken with wonton soup from the lunch special and it was fantastic. The wontons were thin and delicate little pockets that held a nice amount of pork. The lunch special soup comes with 2 wontons. The soup was delicious and so were the wontons but maybe a little on the salty side. The sesame chicken were these tasty, crunchy little bites and the portion was pretty good. Obviously these meal was a cut above the standard takeout lunch specials of your corner Chinese food takeout places. It maybe a few dollars more but the taste more than makes up for it. I haven't had this kind of delicious Chinese food in a while. It seems that especially after the pandemic Chinese takeout places have gone down in quality and taste and the prices have certainly gone up. I don't mind paying more for delicious food. The place is pretty new but I suspect in the next few months it'll be almost impossible to get a table here.

Yelp
It's good to know that their is people that goes the extra mile to make food for the soul. Along with exceptional service and beautiful ambiance, this restaurant is second to none for Asian cuisine. I've been with them from the start (literally their first customer) and will follow them where ever they go as this is their second establishment. If you've never had Red Bowl your doing yourself a disservice... Loyal customer for life.

Yelp
Ok. The only reason why I give it a solid 3, is because they made my food without MSG (or they said they did)... The food was good. Don't get me wrong. But not like super amazing great food. Another reason I'm annoyed is because they didn't give me the crispy chips to dip in duck sauce to-go. They charged me $2, and I made a stink because they didn't even tell me they were charging me. We ordered Kung Pao chix and some noodles and another beef dish. It was pretty expensive for Chinese food. And they couldn't throw in $2 crispy chips ???? Weird.

Yelp
Had lunch here today for the first time. I enjoyed the food, but as wife said today.... "I've NEVER really had BAD chicken and broccoli in my life anywhere." I can't disagree. The starter scallion pancake was more flakey than what I'm used to but still very tasty. Wine was $10/ glass, and they have a unique Pilsner that has it's self contained fridge, and is made by the people at Suntory whisky. One of only 3 places in Brooklyn that carry it. I'm not longer a big beer drinker, but this was just the right match. The regular size entrée was MORE than enough for us to share, with some left over to take home. While the food is good, it was the owner (didn't catch her name) and the remainder of the staff (I would say TIGHT team) that puts this place over the top! I'd come back just to sit and chat. I think the room is actually gorgeous and tasteful. Including the bar stools and lighting. Pristine 4K Samsung television at the bar is also something other places just let "age out". I'm so happy to have this place in Bay Ridge and sorry for Williamsburg's loss. We'll be seeing you again.

Yelp
The food, the service, the friendly staff, and the drinks are amazing. My favorite drink is the Rikers Island. Yup the name of the prison complex. I'm working my way through the menu, so far everything is great. The ambiance is really chill with a nice vibe.

Yelp
Although my review is late this place was delicious. This place is the old Pearl Room & the new owner is super friendly... service was great even with new staff learning the tables. Dishes didn't disappoint and neither does the ambiance. It's a gross between fancy and causal; meaning either or is ideally perfect. Loved everything we ordered, drinks were a tad light but will definitely be back.

Yelp
Sooo, I've been eyeing this place since they opened. I've their Williamsburg location but haven't been able to go as often as I like. Turns out, the Williamsburg location is no more and they just have this one in Bay Ridge. It's super spacious and pretty - y'all, even the bathroom downstairs is beautiful! IG worthy! Lol I got the pork fried dumplings and fried chicken baos. Both realllly good. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. They give you a watermelon w/your check
