If you love records, good music, and spontaneous purchases, Red Cat Records in Vancouver is your ultimate danger zone. I walked in today, and within seconds, I was hooked by the incredible tunes they were playing. Honestly, I’m convinced the music was deliberately chosen to make me buy more records — and it worked like a charm. The staff here are exceptionally friendly, so much so that I considered asking them to come DJ my next party. The selection is massive, which, let's be real, is dangerous for my bank account. I went in for one album and walked out with a stack. But it’s hard to resist when the vibe is just that good. The neon sign outside is like a beacon for music lovers — it practically shouts “come in, we have records!” And trust me, once you're in, you'll never want to leave. Highly recommend this place if you want to support a local gem and add to your vinyl collection, all while feeling like you’ve just stepped into the coolest music oasis in Vancouver. P.S. The music might also make you buy things you didn’t know you needed. Proceed with caution (and a full wallet)! 🎶💿

I don’t personally collect records or cds myself (that may change in the future.) However I’ve been at this store several times to pick up gifts for my friends and have always had wonderful service. I expected a CD that I ordered to come in the following week but it arrived in just a few days. Also a staff member called me and let me know it was ready which I greatly appreciated. Compared to other stores the prices are definitely more affordable and aren’t marked exorbitantly high. Will continue to purchase from this store and I recommend you pay a visit too!

Great little music nook with an impressive collection of vinyl records and cassette tapes! They also have lots of exclusives and used records so there's something for everyone! Came over for a Pearl Jam "Dark Matter" listening party they hosted and it was a blast! Raffle prizes, promised PJ swag, and a great sound system. This place has such a good vibe going for it.

Awesome selection here, lots of b-sides I haven’t seen before, they cover you for every genre. Took my girlfriend for her birthday and they were so nice and gave us excellent service
