Interesting atmosphere with shops all around and a decent amount of seating. Only tricky part is getting the seating, you just gotta wait a bit and just take a table as soon as it opens. I ordered the Hot N Honey pizza & lemonade and it was ready within 15 mins so it was fairly quick. The 3 star is for the pizza itself since it was meh. It probably could’ve been in the oven a little longer since the under carriage was pretty floppy and didn’t have much crunch. The pepperoni tasted like grocery style prepackaged pepperoni and I couldn’t really taste the garlic honey.

I had the pizza here recently and was blown away by how good it was. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the toppings were super fresh. You can really tell they care about quality.

One of the best pizza spots in Winnipeg! Red Ember Common at The Forks never disappoints. Their wood-fired pizzas are absolutely delicious — perfectly crispy crust, fresh toppings, and amazing flavour combinations. The service is fast and friendly, and the quality is consistent every time. We tried the ‘Bacon & Mushroom’ and the ‘Margherita’ — both were fantastic! A must-try if you’re visiting The Forks Market.

We visited this place yesterday. The pizza we ordered was amazing, however the customer service was not. The gentleman who took our order was very short with his tone, and then after we ordered, I forgot to order a drink so we placed a 2nd order for my sparkling water. After we ordered the water we continued looking at the menu at all the different pizza choices and admiring the other working who was making the pizza. The gentleman at the till gave the impression he was frustrated that i was not paying attention while he was trying to pass the water i ordered to me. To make note: he did not say here you go, here is your water or anything. He was just holding it there, and then proceeded to swaying it up and down in his hand directly at me which gave me the impression he was annoyed i didn't take my water from him sooner. When we went back to get the pizza when it was ready, another gentlemen helped us. The 2nd gentlemen was polite and courteous and took the time to tell us about the in house made chili oil. As someone who used to work in restaurants, as a hostess, server and bartender, this is not a way i would treat a patron coming to the establishment. It is too bad you do not have another location, because i would go to another location to support again as the food was amazing, but i will not return to this location due to the service received from the one individual. I hope that this person can get some coaching & guidance on how to properly interact with customers in a polite, friendly and courteous manner.

I was really looking forward to trying your pizza, but I have to say I was disappointed. The crust was way too thin—so thin that it didn’t feel satisfying at all. I appreciate the effort and the concept, but unfortunately it didn’t meet my expectations this time.

Today I bought a pizza for my son, and saying that I’m shocked is an understatement. There was almost no cheese, just tomato sauce, and it tasted like something from a supermarket. I’m speechless. I was extremely disappointed — $22 for this? This pizza is worth at most $10. I’m very upset, it’s the worst pizza I’ve ever ordered. Don’t waste your time and money on this place.

Google
Their margarita pizza is seriously delicious and the strawberry lemonade is addicting! The pizza sauce was very rich and flavourful. The cheese melted in my mouth and the tomato’s were a delightful burst of flavour. The crust is very soft and on the thin side which I prefer but if you prefer pizza with a thicker crust this probably isn’t the right pizza place for you.

Yelp
I thought the person I was with ordered The Crete-Za which has dill walnut pesto and goat cheese and pickled onions. The onions were not bad but I really love goat cheese and it just wasn't very flavourful or very strong tasting in this pizza. Goat cheese is usually very strong tasting. A very strong cheese. The pizza overall was okay in a mild cheese pizza kind of way but I prefer cheese to taste like high quality cheese. Maybe another option would have had more authentic flavours. Service was normal but a bit terse/tense.

Yelp
Red Ember makes some very good pizza tops, but they sure don't make good bottoms. The flavors above the dough are excellent. I loved the meats, sauce, and oils I had. However, the dough was extremely flimsy, soft, and literally soggy when served. It clearly needed to be cooked longer or somehow firmes up. This is otherwise a five star review, but I can rate this higher while the bottom needs work. For $20 that should be the last thing needing correcting.

Yelp
The pizza here was a true surprise. The dough is a bit thicker than traditionally made pizza but it turned out to be what makes their pies so good. They put in the effort to proof dough; no shortcuts and no hurry. A shiny electric oven that reaches over 800 degrees is what brings out the flavors and makes the fresh ingredients so good. Honestly, I can say that this is some of the best pizza I've had in Canada.

Yelp
The pizza is pretty good, but the staff are not super friendly. I left a big tip and didn't even get a thank you for a takeout order.

Yelp
This place is the best. The "Hot and Honey" and the "Twist and Sprout" are delicious, unique pizzas that you can't get anywhere else. In the summer, they do a tomato salad with mascarpone and mint that I wait all year for, and we always get an order of their olives with honey and lemon. The staff are always very sweet, and the food is done in under ten minutes, which is a relief when you're sitting there salivating over the thought of dinner!

Yelp
+.5 for service The opening of Red Ember Common in The Forks Market was met with huge fanfare, as Red Ember is a popular pizza food truck in Winnipeg. I've also been looking forward to this place ever since I tried their pizza at ManyFest and really enjoyed it. Their menu isn't too extensive, but all your Red Ember staples are available here. I had the GOB pizza, which I had when I went to ManyFest. There's still some teething issues when it came to the cashier, which resulted me in not paying taxes for my pizza. Huh... The pizza actually came pretty quick, considering the popularity of this place. While the size of the pizza looks quite big, it's actually quite puffy, therefore it's not really that big at all. Although the pizza was delicious, it was unfortunately burnt in a few spots. The price was reasonable, if not a little bit higher than expected. Regardless, Red Ember Common is a fantastic addition to the bustling Forks Market. It's not a place I'll go religiously, but it's another option in the list of places I'll go to when I'm here.

Yelp
Third time going here for a pizza and it's always great food! Our favorite is the GOB

Yelp
You have to work really hard to ruin a simple pizza. I ordered a pesto pizza; the pesto was mostly low quality oil with green food coloring little parsley and defiantly no pine nuts or walnuts. There was so much pickled onion that it became the base flavor. I asked the server to bring some red pepper flakes - never happened, I can't blame busy I was only one of two people sitting at the counter. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay, it had turned and was closer to a sparkling wine. Did I say anything no, why bother these were nice kids just turning a buck - they'll get paid wether you eat there or not. The food court has lots of options, try something else.

Yelp
pretty great pizza all around. I had one gross piece but that's bound to happen with pizza, not all pieces will be good. Anyway fast service and i got my pizza within 8 minutes of ordering. vegetarian friendly and it isn't disgusting.
