A Route 66 Road Trip Itinerary for Whiskey-Lovers - AFAR

"Located directly on the old Route 66 in Tulsa, this producer—Tulsa’s first post-Prohibition distillery when it opened in late 2017—makes whiskey and white spirits; state restrictions currently limit on-site sales and sampling (with partial loosening expected), so tastings are often enjoyed at local bars instead." - Jake Emen

Yelp
I have drank a lot of red fork liquors over the past years, but got the opportunity to have a tour of the facility with some friends. The operation that they have is on point, and they think of every detail. The owners and staff are very polite and they work hard to use their products and other items such as candle or lotions to help collaborate with local artists. It is a open space so plenty of room for your friends if you decide to have an event there.

Yelp
Always happy to support local business and craft. As my husband and I are huge bourbon fans and have done the bourbon trail a few times, it piqued our interest to see Oklahoma putting their skills up to the test of making bourbon. Just bought a bottle of the Reverence, and we tried it neat. Oh wow!! Sooooooooo good! It's super smooth too. It's not quite Blantons, Bookers, Buffalo Trace or Eagle Rare, but it's so very very good. It has its own unique flavor that's absolutely delicious and Oklahoman. Worth the money for sure! I plan to buy a bottle to send to my father-in-law (who's done the bourbon trail a few times and a huge lover of bourbon) a bottle for him to try! Good job Red Fork!!! Very well done!!! Definitely recommend!!!

Yelp
While out one evening we won 2 passes to tour. The owner was most gracious scheduling a time that worked for us! The tour took under an hour. The facility is new and super clean. He explained the process of distilling and we got to see each step. At the end we tasted their vodka, whiskey and moonshine. The vodka was absolutely odorless. I'm not a whiskey fan but it was tolerable. My bf said it was very good. I enjoyed the cinnamon moonshine most of all! On our way out he gave is recipe cards. Definitely trying some of these!! Definitely recommended!

Yelp
Just finished a tour and tasting at the distillery and it was very interesting and informative! I think I've given up my usual brand for their vodka! We got to sample an amazing drink that I CANNOT wait to hit shelves so I will be following their social media updates closely! The owners were very nice and knowledgeable. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to find out about them and all of their products!
