We liked the food and ambience of the restaurant. We were on our way to Vegas and wanted to stop here for lunch reaching 2.15pm, we had to take a to-go order, as they wouldn't seat after 2 pm due to closing at 3 pm - wish they had said that on their website or on Google. However they were quick in giving us our to-go order which we ate in our car. Plenty of parking. Recommend this place if you are in the area.

First time here. Was passing through from vegas and was looking for vegan options. Lots to choose from. Pros: new building. No reservations. Was seater super quickly even though there were TONS of cars in the parking lot and on the street. Friendly staff. Quick service. Nice decor. Ordered the lamb curry. It was good but I guess I prefer goat due to it's tenderness. The sauce was a little too "tomato-y", too tangy for me. Ordered the mushrooms and samosa too. And 2 types of naan. All ok. Cons: you have to pay for naan. That's equivalent to paying for chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant or bread at an Italian restaurant. Naan should be complimentary. The bathroom was disgusting. Toilet paper and paper towels everywhere. Door has 2 locks. And the worst part: soap was watered down. Like it's running out so let's add water. Lots of water. And there was hand sanitizer next to the sink. What's up with that??? After seeing that, I questioned the cleanliness of the restaurant and the employees. Would I come back? Nah. Food was ok. I've had Indian food and Himalayan food everywhere and this was nothing spectacular.

When you see a restaurant gets over 5K+ reviews with 4.8 ratings, there is no way to doubt their credibility. I am a frequent visitor of St. George area, and in recent past I have tried this place multiple times. Their grand restaurant with beautiful decorations inside amazed me. But to my surprise, each time me and my family were disappointed by the taste of the food. I am not questioning the quality or the quantity of the food - rather their foods are just tasteless. The prime factor for any food considered to be good is its taste and somehow we felt that none of their dishes taste that good. We are Biriyani lovers, the very first time we were here, we didn’t even looked at the menu and ordered just Biriyanis. It was not good at all. It has everything, the meat, the rice, spices, cashews and rasins but was missing something. We may call it a pulao but not Biriyani. We know Biriyani can be cooked in many different ways and in a vast country like India, every parts of it has its own unique style of cooking. But this was not about style, rather taste. Instead of doubting their credibility, we thought may be Biriyanis are not their specialty, so we decided to try something else in our next visit. After all so many people who have rated this place so good, cannot be wrong. In our next visit, we skipped Biriyanis and with much expectation we sticked to curry items only. But, again we were disappointed. Tried one chicken and one lamb curry, both were very creamy. It seems they are using boiled chicken instead if making tikkas. Cashews and rasins cannot be part of everything. We tried their tandoors and samosas as well, but to be honest, didn’t like either one of it. Tandoor was cooked with onions and peppers and was almost turned into a gravy item. Frozen samosas tastes better than this place. Not sure, whether I completely avoid this place or may try few other items from their fancy menu in my next visit, to figure out how they are so highly rated. There are plenty of other great Indian restaurants available in Utah who offer much better food, which tatse really good and the prices are also moderate.

This was our second visit to this location. While out of town, we were going to try somewhere else, but the allure of the aroma, taste, and service we had previously was such that we decided to go back. Once again, we were not disappointed. We were greeted quickly, within 30 seconds. We managed to arrive when there wasn't a wait, so we were seated immediately. The server greeted us promptly and with a smile to get out drink orders. We ordered a strawberry Lassi, pineapple chicken, and a garlic naan to share. I like spice, my spouse doesn't. We ordered mild, and I asked for some extra spice on the side. That's exactly how it was served. The flavor was spot on and was enough food to feed the both of us with no leftovers. We love dining here. The cultural atmosphere with spices from the other side of the world makes for a fantastic dining experience.

Great place to eat. Took my family here while on vacation to St. George. Food was decent. The service was excellent. We walked in and we're sat down right away. The waiter was quick to take our order and the wait on the food was not long. All in all a good experience.

We had a great experience at this Indian restaurant! Despite arriving with a large group of 13 people just before closing time, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us with a warm and welcoming attitude. Their hospitality was truly commendable, and we never felt rushed, even though it was late. The food was fresh and flavorful, with every dish showcasing authentic Indian spices and excellent preparation. It’s rare to find a place that maintains such quality, especially toward the end of the night. The only reason for the 4-star rating is that we could sense a slight strain due to the late timing, which is understandable. However, their effort to make us feel comfortable and serve delicious food definitely deserves recognition. We’ll happily return and recommend this restaurant for its great food and accommodating service!

Google
Such cool decor inside! We had three different servers checking on us all the time. Service was insanely fast! I don’t think I’ve ever had food in a sit down restaurant come within 10 minutes of me ordering it! The food was by far the best Indian food I’ve ever had!

Yelp
Great food. Bit of a wait. Not on the staff mind you, just to get in. Worth the wait though. We found this via Yelp as we were passing through. We will stop again next time.

Yelp
The decorator team at Red Fort ought to win all the awards possible-they've done an outstanding job of turning this old sports bar into a lovely Indian restaurant. Truly, hats off to them! My wife and I ordered the buttered chicken and the tikka masala along with an order of naan. Everything tasted terrific, although we both had tummy trouble later that evening. We are no strangers to Indian food, so I don't think it was just something new for us. I'm hopeful it was just a fluke and not common for them-I'd love to go back. But it might be a little while before I do.

Yelp
This is a corporate chain of Indian restaurants with about 5 locations in various states. This St. George location is huge and popular. The staff are hardworking and helpful. But sorry owners: I ordered fish curry and it's blatantly obvious that the fish was not particularly fresh. I don't trust restaurants that don't use fresh meat and fish, especially corporate ones. Edit: I note that other reviewers have also commented about meat in dishes that is "tough" to chew--again a sign of non-freshness being a consistent pattern with this place.

Yelp
Did takeout here for Thanksgiving and enjoyed it! It's a solid Indian place with good flavors. Got the chicken tikka masala, mango and strawberry lassi, Rogan Josh and coconut tofu.

Yelp
First time here and we've enjoyed all the meal. We left satisfied. The service was kinda slow but not bad. Big place but no AYCE..

Yelp
I had some students tell me about this place , I'm here for work and live in the 5th largest city in the USA so Indian food is not new to me. What I love about Indian Food is the spices and how your taste buds enjoy them. I started dinner with a Mango Lassi which is perfect with spicy food. I ordered the Assorted Snacks (appetizers) this by itself could be a dinner and it not disappoint!! I had the Saag Paneer amazing one of the my go to dishes. I order the garlic Naan which was excellent. Overall amazing food, the service was quick for being very busy. It has a typical look of an Indian restaurant and this is a good thing. If you want good Indian Food this is the place I have enough for lunch tomorrow!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Five out of five stars. One of the best Indian food places I've had in UT. The mango Lassi was great, the chicken makhani and coconut korma were amazing. The garlic Naan was decent but drier than I like. Highly recommend!

Yelp
What else is there to say. It's Red Fort. Their reputation for amazing food holds true at their other locations and this one in St. George is no exception. All the meats came out amazing. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Food was good, place was very busy especially for a Thursday night. The naan was great and tasted fresh. My only complaint/question was in regards to sauces. We requested Raitha (which they offer on their menu) to go along with our sampler appetizer. 4 different employees came to our table to show us that our appetizer came with 2 sauces (non raitha.) when we would explain yes, we know it comes with sauces, but we like raitha. Then they'd send someone else to confirm and act like they couldn't give us the sauce haha. Super strange, but we eventually got the sauce after it was 'approved' by someone.

Yelp
We took another road trip to St George and decided to try another restaurant before going home. We chose Red Fort based on a recommendation and it was spot on. We arrived about 5 PM and it wasn't too busy, we were greeted right away and sat immediately. The restaurant was clean and inviting and the smell of fresh food filled the air. Our server was attentive and very eager to take our order. Our order came out pretty quick and looked great. The Lamb vindaloo was perfectly spiced and tasted great. The Lamb was tender and sometimes that's hard to accomplish in a stew type setting. The dish could have had some more potatoes and peppers but overall a good meal. The wife's lamb curry was tasty and cooked equally well. Overall it was a pleasant visit and we would return to try some more.

Yelp
If you're in the area, you NEED to stop and have a meal at Red Fort. We dined for dinner on Sunday, during a peak time, with no wait. Staff was right at the entrance to greet and seat us. The restaurant was very well decorated, adding to the overall experience of the evening. We started off with Daal soup, which was creamy and a nice start before the entrees came out. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, while my partner ordered Lamb Saag. While my dish had great flavor and the perfect spice, I definitely was jealous of my partner's dish and will get next time. I do get weird about lamb, unless it's a gyro, but they did a phenomenal job cooking it into the dish. It's also an absolute must to get naan bread too. My only complaint was it felt our service was rushed. While the staff was attentive, we hadn't even finished half our meals before the check was dropped. It felt more like a turn and burn restaurant, which I do understand during peak volumes, but it wasn't as busy. I don't want to feel like I have to shove my mouth and get out.

Yelp
Great Food and Service! This was our second time having this restaurant, first time we picked up, this time we dined in. Food is tasty and service was great. The portions are big and worth it! We even took a lot home and spent less than we expected. We loved it and would dine in again next time we are in town! I love the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and their samosas.
google avatar

Sidnie B.

Yelp
Pretty good Indian food! It wasn't the best I've had, but good for Utah! I liked being able to order at the food truck to enjoy on a picnic or at home
google avatar

Lisa T.

Yelp
Food was really good! I ordered the chicken tikka masala which rice is part of the meal and garlic naan. Lots of flavor! The mild has no heat at all which I am not used to but the flavor was so good it didn't matter. Next time I will try the medium for some heat. The naan also didn't taste any garlic? Maybe they accidently gave me regular? Big portions. Loved the Lime fort drink! Can't tell you what's in it besides lime juice but it was really good and refreshing! Definitely will try some other dishes next time I am passing through. They have an outside patio hoping they put the chairs and tables out there for the summer time so I can bring the pups next time.

Yelp
We love Indian food. We have eaten in many places, including Hanoi. This was a great experience. The food and service were great. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Great tasting Indian food, great portion and great service. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with Taj Majal as if you're eating right beside it. The servers are attentive and checking your needs several times. I will go back again to this place.

Yelp
Was very surprised with how good this Indian place was. Service was good and food came out quickly. The portions are big.

Yelp
Snack platter - this was big enough to get a person full before the entrees come out! I kept eating it though because I enjoyed the green sauce Butter chicken - scrumptious sauce; wish I could do dark meat though Lamb biryani - very appetizing; and it looks small, but there is actually a lot in that bowl. Garlic naan - could've been more buttery/oily -one of the few indian restaurants that actually packs some heat in their spicy orders. The hot sauce is pretty good too

Yelp
Came from California visiting uncle in St. George. We had a group of 14 and they accommodated us quickly . Nicely decorated, the Food was great and service was very attentive. Will definitely come back!!

Yelp
We had high hopes for this place based on reviews. Yes the flavor of our tikka Marsala was good but the chicken was dry and tough. We felt it had been sitting around. We also got the garlic naan which was good but not great. Service was as expected. Quick, efficient and business like. No interaction but that was fine. It was decent enough but nothing special.
google avatar

Yelp
Exceptional food prompt service bottle of wine two dishes and some naan we loved all of it would visit again also loved the booth options for seating highly recommend we went hot for food spice level and it was perfect loved spicy we ordered coconut tofu and eggplant made vegan (bhirta) and garlic naan delicious!!

Yelp
Red Fort Cuisine came highly recommended, so we had dinner here this past Sunday. We walked in around 6:30 pm and I let them know I was a party of 4. They asked if everyone in my party was present and I said yes, as everyone entered through the door. They told us to wait a moment and led us to the table. Some of us went to the restroom while the other sat at the table. When I sat down, I saw the QR code and took out my phone to scan the menu. At that point, someone came by to ask if we were ready to order. Obviously, I was still pulling the menu up so we needed a moment. A minute later, another employee came by asking if we were ready to order. Again, I had barely looked at the menu. I wasn't sure if I was grateful they were being anxious to take our order or felt rushed. The food came out pretty fast. We ordered * Vegetable Coconut Kurma - I was torn between this and the Coconut Tofu since I rarely see Tofu on an Indian menu. The waiter said the Vegetable Coconut Kurma was more popular, so I went with this. It was sweeter than I preferred, but it's probably because of the golden raisins. * Baygan Bharta - This was a dish that was new to us and we were hoping the eggplant would have been in actual pieces but it was all mixed up. Knowing now, this dish is usually made with minced eggplant. So I guess I would need to look for places that don't mince it. * Lamb Boti Masala - This was the favorite amongst the main dishes we had and was pretty much all gone. I enjoyed the flavor profile of this dish over the other ones. * Garlic Naan * Basmati Rice - Really appreciate that there are unlimited refills on this. When we were done, I asked for a to go box for our leftovers. As I was boxing up our leftovers, the waitress was so anxious to grab our dishes even though there was still food on there. We literally had to stop her as she was about to pile dirty dishes on it. It was very apparent that I was not done boxing our food, and she stood there waiting for me to finish. I almost had to put my hand on the other plates so she wouldn't take them. I felt so rushed. I noticed they were overly efficient with clearing any dishes. The food was a solid four. But I'm not a fan of feeling rushed out when there were plenty of tables available still and it's not as if we were there very long. (We were probably in and out in under an hour.) We did notice other tables that lingered a lot longer than we did.

Yelp
Food awesome as usual They never disappoint Best Indian cuisine around Thank you for your continued excellence

Yelp
I ate here for the first time (and hopefully not last). Everything was wonderful--the food, service, restaurant and parking. It's in a busy neighborhood so drive carefully. The food was amazing. I ordered vegetable samosas with vegetable coconut komba. The rice was flavorful. Our servers kept our drinks full and cleared empty dishes promptly. It's a little costly, but so is everything these days. Worth the experience.

Yelp
We usually stop overnight in St. George on our way to Utah's National Parks from the Bay Area. After reading great things about Redfort Cuisine of India, we decided to give it a shot. We ordered garlic naan, chicken makhani, and rice kheer. It was a nice touch that they included rice with the main dish, although they used sticky jasmine rice instead of basmati. The chicken was tender, and the makhani had good flavors, but there was an unexpected meaty aftertaste that didn't sit well with us. The garlic naan and rice kheer were enjoyable. In my view, the restaurant is a bit overrated and not particularly budget-friendly. Also, we arrived at 9 pm, just half an hour before their 9:30 pm closing time, and the whole experience felt rushed.

Lori A.

Yelp
Such a disappointing experience. My husband and I arrived about 6:30, to a moderately filled restaurant. We were immediately greeted by two men and seated at a four top right next to the kitchen entrance. Water was served immediately by a nice young g man. Up to this point they had earned the one star. It was all downhill from here. Our server came to take our order after a prolonged wait, rushing us through our drink, appetizers and main course selection. The young man that served us our water quickly returned with our beer selection and chilled glasses. About ten minutes later our appetizers and main course arrived. Our food was cold. Trying to get the attention of our server was impossible due to the fact that she was nowhere to be seen. Finally we got the attention of an employee to fetch her. We made her aware that we had made a mistake by not ordering rice with my husbands dish and would like to order it, only to be told that if was included and she would get it to us. That as well was cold! The meal that I ordered with a spice level of medium was served cold and had no flavor. I brought this to the attention of our server and she then made another server aware of it. He brought out a bowl of habanero sauce explaining to "add this to the dish and it would taste good". It didn't. Finally the owner/manager came over and asked me to explain what was wrong with the dish said he would have the kitchen make it again. At this point my husband was about finished with his meal. My cold tasteless dish was left sitting in front of me so I moved it to the side. When my remake arrived the bowl was literally placed in front of me without a word or fresh plate and the server disappeared again. I retrieved my original plate pushed the very cold meal to the opposite side of the plate and served myself out of the freshly prepared bowl. The food was hot with a medium spice level but had very little flavor. Weird, how does one achieve a tasteless meal with Indian spices? At this point the owner/manager came over to check on the dish and I relented to a "it's fine". He was happy to skip away with that answer. We waited and waited for our Houdini of a server, finally my husband had to get up and request our check from the kind water server. Our server did appear only to have to summon the owner/manager to take a two card payment. We are here on business and adhere to company policy. We paid full price for an evening filled with dissatisfaction and anxiety. Skip this place, I'm sure that there are restaurants in St. George with great food and service to be found. We will not be back. By the way don't let the pretty lights and fire pit fool you into thinking that this is a top notch place. Ambiance isn't always the most important thing especially at a restaurant.

Winston L.

Yelp
Solid Indian food in Utah. We loved the Lime Fort drink, a unique fusion of flavors. The Assorted Snacks had highs (Vegetable Pakora and Vegetable Samosa) and lows (Chicken Pakora and Onion Bhaji). The Chicken Makhani was lacking in spice (we ordered Medium) but tasted good though. Really creative decor!

Yelp
Awesome food. Did not expect such good Indian food in Utah. Loved it. Would highly recommend it

Yelp
What a delicious surprise! On our way through town, we searched Yelp and found Red Fort Cuisine of India. We were so pleasantly rewarded with top notch courteous service, prompt seating, and quick delivery of our order. We had the Curry Chicken and Butter Chicken, with fresh hot naan and served with rice. We ordered both dishes with medium spice. Served piping hot in only a few minutes after ordering, each dish had its own unique delicious flavors. Served with the lightly seasoned rice and hot naan, it was food nirvana! The dining area had tasteful rotating "leaf fans" near the ceiling, traditional pleasant Indian music, and perfect lighting making for a perfect dining experience. We hope to return to try more dishes as we were seriously impressed with everything at Red Fort Cuisine of India. A must try restaurant!!!
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
I can't imagine any dish not being tasty. Their rice wasn't just plain either it was spiced and nuanced and I could have just ate that. It does come with the dishes. The spice level is true to taste. Some Indian places start out as hot. We ordered medium and probably could have gone up a notch to hot. A fun and good smelling atmosphere. Wait staff was attentive and Friendly.

Yelp
The place is beautiful! Certainly the largest Indian restaurant I've ever been to. The food was decent. I believe the best dish on the table was the bitter chicken! I got the korma.... It was bland. Sauce was not thick and the chicken was dark meat. I regretted not getting the butter chicken. My boyfriend ordered butter chicken and got is super spicy which isn't my thing, but I had to try because it looked so beautiful! The seasoning and fresh herb was great! The chicken was all white meat and no fat! Beautiful dish. The korma doesn't hold a candle. The veg pakora was ok. It served its purpose, I've had better. The rapta was great! The yogurt her is very tart and I believe is made in house. Full transparency as delicious as it was i didn't last 20 minutes after the meal.... Lactose sensie folks beware. All and all I'd say this place is pretty good. I prefer a hole in the wall with a kitchen and someone's family cooking honestly. But it was cool to see this place behave like a chain. The service needs better communication. The service are swamped so they do have runners. Too many examples of food going to wrong tables and runners not being aware of where they are taking the food. It's minor but very consistent.

Yelp
I am a person who love spicy food But their spicy is like crazy hot I love their curry though The service is very friendly The store design and decor is really good Love the vibe price is reasonable including rice

Yelp
Outstanding food and service. Chicken curry was the best I've ever had, samosas fresh and well made. Curry and chicken aloo pictured. Great place to stop!

Yelp
My wife and I made a delightful pitstop on our journey to Las Vegas, and our destination was none other than an Indian restaurant, the embodiment of our culinary comfort. It was dinner time when we arrived, and the bustling parking lot hinted at the popularity of this eatery. To our delight, we were swiftly ushered to our seats, where the attentive staff catered to our every need. The moment you step inside, you're transported to what feels like an Indian marketplace, thanks to the enchanting and distinctive architecture and decor that envelops you. There was minimal waiting involved before our steaming, fresh dishes graced our table, perfectly satiating our cravings and hunger. As an appetizer, we indulged in the Vegetable Samosa, a choice we wholeheartedly recommend. The accompanying mint and tamarind chutneys were delectable, offering a flavorful addition to our meal. Our main course was the ever-succulent and flavorful Chicken Tikka Masala, paired with a side of traditional Naan bread. Our culinary experience was nothing short of exceptional, from the impeccable service to the top-notch meal quality. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, a birthday, dining with a large group, or enjoying a solo meal, this establishment caters to all tastes and preferences.

Yelp
I do not understand that 4.7 stars at all. It must be the small town factor. We came in desperate for it to be at least decent. We're looking for an event space and this place has an awesome outdoor porch with great lighting. And it smelled incredible. We were both super excited. ...until the food came. The chicken was so overcooked and dry that it was difficult to swallow. The shrimp was also very overcooked. And the tandoori roti was straight up bad. Bland, dry, and cracker-like. The flavors in both their masala sauce and the coconut kourma sauces were fine. Average is delicious. But I would not be excited to come back

Yelp
We went to the new La Verkin Utah location and wow it didn't disappoint! The staff was so friendly and the food was amazing .I now have a new go to spot . It's a must try if you've never had Indian food

Yelp
Best Indian restaurant I've been to in the US, which is surprising for a small town like St. George. I've been several times over the years, most recently last summer. Service has always been extremely efficient, whether it's only me and my husband or a 10-person family gathering with in-laws and their kids. Excellent versions of core Indian-American fare (my very white-bread mother-in-law is addicted to their chicken tikka masala) and also some tasty items you don't see everywhere, like the strawberry lassi. The cardamom in the Peshawari naan makes it something special. Yes. Go. Give gift cards.

Yelp
I will say we were lucky to find this place on Christmas Day when everything else in Zion was closed. Let's say in this small town, there weren't a lot of food options that were open that day besides fast food or the like. When we walked in, the atmosphere was very smoky. You could literally see this hovering mid height in the room. It was also bizarre because it seemed disorganized, there were other people ahead of us and no one knew who was sitting down or when we'd be acknowledged because the host was taking an order, there were other people that passed by that didn't say anything. Nonetheless, we were already there after a full day at Zion and there weren't really any other options. There's no problem to wait, just acknowledge that you see people standing there. It felt awkward. We were finally sat down, after the hostess wrangled up and two other parties in front of us at the same time and told us to follow them. I want to start by saying the food was delicious. We ordered the chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, and lamb bhuna. I was surprised that all of the entrees came with rice, because I'm used to most Indian spots where it's all separate. We also got some beer and garlic naan. Absolutely nothing wrong with the food. Delicious, tasty, served hot, fresh tasting. Actually very excellent food. I would try this place again if coming here next time, but perhaps would try take out, however, it wouldn't be my first choice. I wish I could give them a higher rating because I'd rather give a better rating, but the service was absolutely bizarre. I wish they will do better. The entrees for my mother in law and myself arrived first, while my husband did not get his order (tandoori chicken) for about 15 more minutes. As tradition, we usually eat altogether until everyone has their plate. We requested that my mother in law's tikka masala not be spicy. Maybe I don't know any better, but I haven't really had spicy tikka masala from anywhere, but I guess it's possible. I was shocked when she said it was spicy. It took another delay and back and forth between 2 different servers to exchange her dish, get rice, and we needed some new plates. . They were both confused. It was completely disorganized. We also felt rushed. The waiter was confused when we addressed the concern that everyone's food should usually come out at the same time and not wait 15 minutes for another person to get their food. They were busy. I could understand if it took a while for all of us to get food at the same time, but again, the service was bizarre and it felt like they were rushing us to get out as quickly as possible. By far, as a service experience, I have never been to another restaurant where the service seemed so disorderly, when it seemed there were plenty of servers. It's not like they didn't try to rectify the experience, they just seemed very rushed and like it was an annoyance and there was confusion to them to do so. The last thing, all 3 of us left smelling so strongly of spices and the food we just ate. This is also the first time we have been to any restaurant where this happened after we left. The smell stayed on our clothes until we washed them. I normally wouldn't say anything about it, because it can happen with any restaurant, but again, this has never happened before to us, and I address my first issue that when we came in, the atmosphere was smoky to begin with, so clearly, their ventilation was not the best. I wish this place success, because their food is delicious. The service as a whole, left a lot to be desired. Hopefully they can improve on this.

Yelp
I'll make it simple for tourists and travelers- give them a try, you'll be very happy! I'm so happy to have concluded our over a week long vacation in the mountains with a handsome meal from Red Fort's vegetarian offerings! I was skeptical before placing the order but did it anyways and I'm glad that I did because it was hands down the best vegetarian authentic Indian meal my husband and I have had atleast in Utah. I ordered Malai Kofta, daman bhindi, baigan bharta, wheat rotis and pickle. All the vegetable curries came with a side of rice and the rice tasted fantastic with nice aromas of fragrant ghee. We ordered all curries hot and all three were perfect. We like more than a kick in our food so hot was our preffered choice of level of spice. The malai kofta was earthy, slightly creamy and very tasty! Daman bhindi was slightly tangy with a home style masala and so authentically flavored again, homestyle. Baigan bharta was fabulous as well! The use of actual vegetables made me smile. No ingredient was used for the sake of using something to create a dish and every dish was very very delicious! This is the perfect spot to drive to and pick up your food for take-out and it's definitely worth the drive. Looking forward to trying out more flavors from here the next time we're in town or passing by because Indian food is something we cannot do without and when you get home style food like this in the mountains, you definitely add it to your list of favorites and tell your friends about it.

Yelp
Stopped here on the way home for a quick bite, and was amazed by the quality of the meals. The staff was very welcoming and provided me with different choices of dishes to suffice my cravings. The seating area was very full, but yet wasn't hectic, and felt very controlled. I took my food to go as I was on my way home from a road trip.

Yelp
This place is wonderful! Ambiance is beautiful, staff is nice, food is great and they take your spice tolerance seriously, so if you're not about that habanero life, stay on the mild side folks. I'm Indian and from the Bay Area where the Indian restaurant scene is highly competitive and almost always delicious. With that being said, I will put Red Fort on the same level as some of the best North Indian food I've had. My go to's are yellow dal, shrimp curry, goat korma, chicken tandoori, raita and aloo gobi. However, I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. If you're new to Indian food, the classics of saag paneer, chicken tikka or butter chicken won't steer you wrong.

Yelp
Table for 1, please. Was sat within a few moments on a Friday night with the largest booth ~ wait staff was very attentive, I ordered the Tikka Masala - Hot. I wish I had ordered the very hot, no worries, my waiter brought a side of spice AND extra rice. The ambiance, the food, service all 5+.
