Red Gunpowder

The interior of Gunpowder Indian Restaurant is a cozy and inviting space with wood accents and red lights. It created a warm and vibrant atmosphere for our dining experience. They served up some seriously juicy flavors, which is awesome! However, it's a bummer that our portion sizes were on the smaller side. It's also disappointing when you can't order more because the kitchen is closed.

As an avid Indian food lover, I had high hopes for Red Gunpowder Canggu, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. We ordered Rogan Josh, Butter Chicken, and Chicken Biryani, but the flavors didn’t meet my expectations, which was a surprising disappointment. The naan and paratha were also extremely oily, adding to the letdown. However, perhaps this is a different regional style of Indian cuisine that I’m not used to.

This place is amazing and a must visit if you love delicious Indian food. We ordered two curries and a couple of share plates. The portions were good, everything was fresh and packed with flavour.

Incredible atmosphere and food. The aesthetics in the garden and at the bar inside are so good that it transports you to India! Great menu variety and the taste is awesome! Only thing to note is that it would be great to have more indian staples in terms of drinks and coconut water as well.

Indian food is so delicious! I used to be skeptical about Indian cuisine, but after visiting this place, I fell in love with it. The service was great, and the dishes were really tasty. So, I definitely recommend it

The best Indian foods in the island! The chicken butter was delicious!!! The cheese naan bread also delicious! Well everything was delicious! The wine selection is great. Definitely coming back!!! Love love loveee

Wonderful dinner here. We shared some starters then both had a curry, rice and breads - it was all fabulous! Very fresh, full of incredible flavours! Service was excellent - super attentive, and their ginger mocktail was super delicious ! Romantic/cosy atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I don't say this lightly, but the curries are quite possibly some of the best I've had in a while. The staff is exceptionally friendly and remarkably efficient. In sum, I wholeheartedly recommend Red Gunpowder to anyone seeking a remarkable Indian culinary adventure.
