Red Lake Hotel

Nice hotel for a one night stay. |Set up was a little confusing as hotel and dining area are in two separate buildings. There was a wedding being held when we arrived so normal access was blocked off but with no instructions on what the alternative access was.|Beautiful walk around the lake. 90% flat and then 10% up into the woods. Probably takes about 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to the lakeside.|Bedroom was clean, but warm.|Staff were good.|Would probably stay here again.

Lacu Roșu is a truly magical place, set in the heart of the mountains just after the breathtaking Bicaz Gorge and right next to the Red Lake. The views are absolutely stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it a perfect escape. The lady at the reception was very kind and welcoming, adding a warm touch to our stay. The on-site restaurant is excellent, and the free parking is a real plus. An unforgettable setting with everything you need for a relaxing getaway.

I stayed here last night with my husband and son. The room was nice in general however it was pretty warm, the mattress was hard and uncomfortable and in the end slept on the floor. We were on the 4th floor so tried opening the window to cool down the room but instead had smoke coming in the room so had to close it. There's no blind or curtain to pull across the window which allows all the light in making it more difficult to sleep. Breakfast was nice and plenty of choice. Overall if some changes were made I would stay again

I stayed in this hotel on June 15th for one night but I was very impressed by this hotel. It is not the first time I have stayed in Lacul Roșu Hotel and every time I wanted to mention the very good conditions. First of all the prime location, between the Bicaz Gorge and the Red Lake. Then the cleanliness of the rooms, the tasty breakfast and the service. And also I have to mention the reasonable price I paid for. I recommend this hotel.

Really enjoyed my stay. The staff were very friendly and patient, they always waited for us to finish our dinner even late in the afternoon. The location was simply beautiful. The rooms were warm enough and cozy.

Unfortunately, I find a simple shortcoming at this hotel..you rent an expensive apartment in which one of the TVs is not functional..I do not recommend the hotel

This hotel wasn’t what we we’re expecting!! It was lovely. Our room had a balcony to sit out on. Which was needed once walking the lake !! With a nice view. |A Lovely bathroom with a large walking shower. Slippers if you need them. |It was very quiet in the evenings with no noise from the nearby car park,|The room had a coffee/tea machine with water and crisps free for the guests. Also a Tv on the wall,|The lift took you down to floor level, and just down past the fish ponds was the restaurant where breakfast was served. Breakfast was lovely with a selection of different foods, and hot /cold drinks.|A small walk from the hotel is the Red lake ( Lacu Rosa) worth seeing there was a small market near the lake which sold souvenirs and food. There is a full walk around the which if you have time it’s nice to do,||.

Great staff, amazing location, very clean room with comfortable beds, balcony, coffee and minibar, good restaurant. What we disliked was the low pressure for showers and that heating in the room was not working (during the night the outside temperature dropped to 7-8 Celsius). The temperature in the room was fine for us during the night, but might be a problem for others who prefer higher temperatures.
