This restaurant has always been my comfort spot, a place I’ve hung out at for years.
I still remember my first visit—it was dinner with a friend’s parents and a bunch of our friends, back when his parent was still alive. During COVID, the place became almost a second home. I started going so often that I became a regular.
These photos capture just a few of the dishes I’ve had there, though I’ve tried far more. To me, this restaurant holds a special place—it’s one of those rare spots that feels both familiar and comforting. They used to stay open until 4 a.m., which was perfect for me. I’d often go late at night when everything else was closed, just to have some quiet time to think. I didn’t usually eat much, but I really liked their food—it matched my taste perfectly.
Over time, I tried almost every dish on the menu. Some became staples for me: the sweet potato pancake, chili-fried pork liver, deep-fried frog pot, fish pot, crispy chicken, beef jerky—okay, I admit, I have a thing for fried food! 😄
The service has always been amazing, but in a humble, effortless way. The staff are attentive and professional without ever feeling overbearing. There’s a cozy familiarity to this place that I can’t quite put into words. I truly miss it—I haven’t been back in about a year, and just thinking about it makes me nostalgic.
