Red Mangrove Aventura Lodge

We loved our stay! :) The staff was super helpful before and during our trip. Location wise amazing directly at the water front and in the quiet part of the island. "Dowtown" can be reached by 10 a minute walk.

Very nice Hotel, with and amazing restaurant. The design is a little quirky and each room has a lot of character - the ocean view rooms in particular look spectacular , we stayed in one with a little balcony overlooking the courtyard. The breakfast is basic but good. The coffee here is also very good, at the time of our visit they were using 1835 coffee. (1835 is just up the road and do great coffee) The staff are very good and we had no problem communicating even though we spoke no spanish.

It's a lovely location: you can see sea lions, marine iguanas, different bird species, etc. while eating breakfast. Our room had a great view and was very comfortable. The staff are very helpful.

We stayed here June 2019 and would highly recommend it. Room was comfortable. Setting of hotel is fabulous. Restaurant was exceptional. Staff was accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Google maps still shows the old name of Red Mangrove but hopefully they will update it to Galapagos Habitat soon. Either way it’s 5 stars.

WOW. incredible hotel, you wake up to a personally cooked breakfast to enjoy with the lounging sealions. beautiful views and amazing rooms. you might find a few bugs.. BUT THAT'S BECAUSE YOU ARE IN THE GALAPAGOS (where you are the guest and the fauna the permanent residents!) cannot recommend this hotel enough. the staff are all so helpful and they do an excellent job cleaning and preparing the rooms!

Absolutely loved sharing a hotel with the resident sea lions! We got to watch a 4 month old baby and it’s family through our stay; Lovely quiet part of the island strategically situated between the best coffee in town, scuba iguana and the Darwin centre. Staff were absolutely lovely as well, and the food was delicious!

Nice hotel in Puerto Ayora. We found it through our trip organizer. They do a great job linking the tours with the lodge experience. Amazing to see sea lions chilling on the patio chairs! Restaurant is nice. You get a lot of food for the price.

CAUTION!!!!! THIS HOTEL IS RUN BY PEOPLE WHO WILL ROB YOU!!!! I AM NOT KIDDING! RUN AWAY FAST!!! I made reservations almost a year in advance. A few months later we had to change our travel plans. Even though their written policy says 90 days, they first agreed to return my money but said they needed 30 days. The after 30 days they said they were wiring the money. It never came. Since then they have stopped taking calls or emails. They literally are stealing my money. If I could give a negative rating I would
