Red Moon Lodge is a true oasis. We had a fantastic stay during our honeymoon trip in the US. The location was perfect, it’s peaceful and quiet but only a 10-minute drive from the town centre. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, the Eagle Room where we stayed had stunning view. We loved the organic homemade breakfast, especially the frittata, granola, yoghurt, breads and muffins with a wide selection of teas. We really enjoyed sitting in the breakfast room every day and talking to other guests. The hosts Courtney and Danny are wonderful and super friendly. They always have time for you to provide you with information about parks, hikes, activities, local recommendations, hot springs. Their communication is excellent. It’s a great spot if you are visiting Arches and Canyonlands National Parks or Fisher Towers. We liked this place so much that we ended up staying for an extra night and really hope to return in the future. Thank you!

My partner and I stayed at Red Moon Lodge over a long weekend of hiking, and it was pure magic. The property is tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and secluded, yet still only a quick drive from town for dinner, coffee, and anything else you might need. Danny and Courtney have created the sweetest, most welcoming space. Our room was incredibly cozy and thoughtfully designed—I especially loved the lush plants and the soft glow of the salt lamp. Breakfast each morning was a highlight: homemade egg casserole, fresh yogurt, granola, breads… everything was delicious and made with so much care. And the star-gazing? Absolutely next level. We arrived unsure of which trails to tackle, but Danny and Courtney gave us a fantastic run-down of the area and helped us plan out our days for maximum adventure and views. Their recommendations for local restaurants were spot-on, and we happily worked our way down the list each evening. We truly didn’t want to leave, and I can’t wait to stay here again on my next trip to Moab. Highly, highly recommend!

Google
Our first trip to the Moab area and we were thrilled to find Courtney & Danny’s “Red Moon Lodge”. Their local knowledge, personal recommendations, very attentive service, lovely surroundings, absolutely delicious, freshly made self- serve breakfasts made our 5 night mini vacation very memorable. My husband & I prefer locally owned, more authentic accommodations to the run of the mill chain hotels that seem to be the alternative in Moab. The rooms were super clean, linens fresh and new, and we were happy not to have TV’s in our room but did appreciate the high speed internet. Thank you Courtney & Danny for being gracious hosts.

My wife, daughter and I have stayed at the Red Moon Lodge on several occasions and we can't be happier with this exceptional bed and breakfast. The unique rooms are clean and spacious. The owners are phenomenal people. They are friendly and full of information about the surrounding area. The surrounding property is absolutely gorgeous and we especially love the medicine wheel just past the wonderful garden area. Drinking coffee near the small pond in the mornings is certainly a bonus, considering the desert views! 10 stars would be a more genuine rating. Thank you Red Moon Lodge!

Located off and away from the main highway and all the chain hotels, this is a very peaceful, individual place with just a few rooms set in a circular building. It has peaceful garden space and easy parking. The breakfast area and offering is a little basic compared to what we were expecting but the home made muesli was excellent. The host Courtenay was very helpful, with tips on what to do, depending on what you’re looking for. It did feel a bit more like an air bnb than a proper hosted b&b; and we thought we’d get the latter. Hence 4/5. If coming back to Moab we would though stay there again.

Look, if you want something better than the normal hotel by the highway, choose Red Moon Lodge!! The hosts are amazing! Courtney really took care of us and makes most, if not all, of the breakfast that is provided. It truly is a relaxing and peaceful experience! Check this place out!

One of the best we’ve ever stayed at. Quaint, spacious, clean, exceptional attention to detail, wonderful grounds, great breakfast, awesome helpful owners…the list goes on. ||Driving in may leave you wondering a bit as to where you are going, but pulling up leaves no doubt; a mini six acre oasis. Just wonderful hosts full of helpful and great local information. We did everything recommended and saw stuff we had not considered near Arches NP. Food recommendation also on point. Walking the grounds and just taking it all in with the associated views led us wowed. Really loved it and highly recommend!!!

Simply amazing. An absolute oasis. I could have spent the whole trip enjoying the grounds, solitude and beautiful scenery. A very neat place to stay, loved the attention to details. Beautiful flowers, yummy breakfast. Can't say enough good things!! Staying here was the highlight of the trip

Yelp
Whoh! Time sure flies by quickly when you had fun. We stayed 12 days in the Buffalo room of the Red Moon Lodge. Deanna and George were great hosts and made our stay a very pleasant and happy one in Moab. The place is gorgeous and amazing with their own spring water. The water tastes crisp and clean. Love the serenity, peace, beautiful view of gorgeous yard with trees, flowers, and the mountains. The breakfast was madly yummy, freshly made each morning. The apricot jam was the best. Deanna was cool packing us breakfast if we had to leave early for our meet ups. No TV, but high quality wireless is available. The room was very nicely furnished, clean and quiet. There was a Himalayan salt lamp in the room which was very cool, relaxing and had a nice glow to it. We plan to stay here again when we visit Moab a few months from now.

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Red Moon Lodge. At first you wonder what you've gotten yourself into as you drive the back roads to get there. Then you realize that seclusion is one of the attractions. Danny and Courtney, the owners, make the place an oasis for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the scenery. They have a garden where they grow fruits and vegetables that are used to make jams and muffins served for breakfast. We also enjoyed pears and apples from their trees. You can tell that they love and enjoy hosting people at the lodge. They are nature buffs and it shows. We even got to see a buck feeding from the bird feeder right outside our room.

Yelp
The Red Moon Lodge is an idyllic and environmentally friendly retreat overlooking the mountains. The grounds, including a large garden and a walking path, are ideal for a short stroll for stargazing or contemplation. We especially appreciated its close proximity to the quaint town of Moab and spectacular Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Our room was spacious, the decor was contemporary and upbeat with an impeccable attention to detail, and the beds were incredibly comfortable with firm memory foam mattresses. The breakfast room, which served as a multi-purpose breakfast lounge, was well stocked with interesting information about the area including maps and unique magazines. The snacks and food were primarily organic including freshly baked breads, muffins, granola, and yogurt. Always left feeling satisfied and well nourished. Courtney and Danny, who are congenial and very accommodating, are environmentally conscious folks eager to please. I highly recommend this unique place for anyone seeking a memorable visit.

Yelp
Just leaving Red Moon having spent 3 nights there in the Turtle room. I would 100% stay there again and would recommend it to all my friends. It's a 5-10 minute drive from downtown, but the distance from that bustling area creates a more peaceful atmosphere. We sat by the pond one afternoon and marveled at the huge frogs. Enjoyed watching the sheep in the neighboring property. Breakfast was a nice addition and I particularly enjoyed the homemade yogurt and granola. The room had a large mini fridge and the shared kitchen has a microwave. The place was indeed a retreat as it was very quiet and peaceful. No TVs but strong WiFi. George was very helpful with recommendations on area attractions. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Yelp
Wow, what great time we had on our father-daughter trip! Our time at Red Moon Lodge went perfectly. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable - providing everything we needed for our 3-night stay. I really enjoyed the breakfast goods that Courtney made, but the star attraction was the property itself. The grounds are immaculate. I wish had more time to spend there. We will be back. I highly recommend!

Yelp
4.5 Stars...The place was very clean, hostess was super nice. A little different accommodations then we are used to. We didn't have time to use the Yoga Barn, sitting by the fresh water pond, or medicine wheel. They only lost half a star because the hostess was brand new and did not know the ends and outs of the surrounding attractions. We knew fresh towels were by request, but it seems light housekeeping must have been by request as well. Would I return, yes. Here's hoping George will fix the missing half star.

Yelp
This place was absolutely amazing. It's a bit off the main drag so it feels peaceful and secluded. The grounds are beautiful with a spring fed pond you can sit by or lay in a hammock as well as a a beautiful garden with chickens. There's also a yoga barn where you can go and stretch on your own or Hannah will lead you in a yoga class upon request. Not only was the place beautiful but the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Hunter gave us some great tips and suggested a local hike outside the national parks that was just gorgeous. One day we got up early and Hannah and Hunter had left us out a beautiful bowl of granola and yogurt so we didn't have to wait for the hot breakfast to be served. If you are coming to Moab you have to stay at this place!

Yelp
Let me start by saying, the morning that we got up early to see the sunrise in Arches, Deanna and George made us coffee and packed us a breakfast! Red Moon was an unexpected delight. We'd been trying to get space a campground in the area with no success. The day of we gave Deanna and George at Red Moon a call and they were able to fit us in. The process was so easy from start to finish. We enjoyed our time so much we added an extra night and Deanna and George went out of their way to make it possible for us to stay. The space itself is lovely, calm, and well curated. I often worry that a place listed as a "B&B" means doilies and semi-moist floral duvets but Red Moon Lodge is truly a retreat with it's robust garden and fresh, clean white sheets. The Lodge is a 10 minute ride off of the highway in Moab. It's quick and easy to get to the main drag in the center of town. There are some motels right in the center of town but they aren't

Yelp
I loved this place. George is amazing, he made our stay awesome! Rooms are clean...breakfast is absolutely amazing. GET THE BREAKFAST! I also loved the pond. My fiancee and I got engaged on this trip so it is such a special place. We'll be back to Red Mood Lodge probably once a year.

Yelp
We stayed in the Turtle Room (after George graciously fit us in at short notice) and spent time exploring the beautiful gardens, getting to know the other guests at breakfast, and just enjoying the overall calm atmosphere outside of touristy Moab. George cooked up an incredible meal for me (and even made his waffles dairy-free to accommodate my dietary restrictions) and my partner and made us feel like we were at home. The room itself was clean, with a fridge, and all of your essential amenities. We had a wonderful experience at the Lodge and will definitely be coming back to visit!

Yelp
I thought I left a review on here after visiting this summer but I'm not quite sure what happened. Anyway, visited for about a week in June 2018 and would go back tomorrow if I could! Secluded and peaceful hotel just a few minutes drive from the main strip in Moab. Breakfast was great and they even held breakfast for us our first day of getting there because we got in so late the night before. Spacious and clean rooms and super nice staff. They even left out a cold breakfast for us one morning when we were up and out before breakfast was scheduled to begin. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
If you like bed and breakfasts, and you are vacationing through Moab, THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY! This is a beautiful house, surrounded by well kept grounds in an amazing location. The rooms are 5 star with their comfort level, design, and cleanliness! Tempurpedic beds are a live-saver after a day of hiking! The breakfasts are amazing as well. We stayed two nights and had french toast, delicious scrambled eggs, fruit, and fresh squeezed juice the first morning and quiche with homemade biscuits, fruit and juice the second morning. The area surrounding the house is also gorgeous! You could spend a day just hanging there. We sat by the pond in the morning, had coffee and looked at hiking maps, relaxed on the hammock, watched the sunset with the view, did Qi-Gong in the medicine circle, fed the chickens, and walked through the garden. And to top it all off, it is owned by warm and welcoming people who make you feel at home and comfortable. They were both nice, warm-hearted, and accommodating. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is traveling, as we will be staying here again when visiting Moab. We stayed in the Turtle room, which as it says on the website, is not sound proof, but who sleeps in when they are in Moab!?

Yelp
This place is gorgeous!! The views on the property are incredible. The rooms are really nice, clean and new. It's a great place to really relax after hiking all day. George, the owner, cooks an excellent breakfast!

Yelp
Moab is absolutely beautiful and this lodge makes it double relaxing! The views of the red rocks are stunning!! We went to the medicine wheel one evening and laid on a blanket...the stars were phenomenal! You can't do that at the Holiday Inn :-) The room itself is luxury with the tempurpedic mattress and quality linens. George makes breakfast with eggs from "his girls." The girls are the chicks that get to graze freely in the woods behind his organic garden. We were just amazed with the quality of care and attention in the lodge. I recommend requesting the gluten free blueberry pancakes. You would never guess they're gluten free. George is a great cook! The landscaping is very serene and relaxing. It's such a nice retreat and you feel like you're "glamping" I HIGHLY recommend Red Moon Lodge! I will be returning next year. Oh, and try the Arches Thai Restaurant! George can tell you where it is. The food was AMAZING!!!

Yelp
We have stayed at red moon lodge twice now. Absolutely wonderful place. Spacious luxurious rooms and baths. Beautiful surrounding gardens and spaces to relax including a frog pond with a hammock. Lovely, organic breakfast served by wonderful staff. George, the owner could not be friendlier and is happy to give advice on local restaurants and trails. I would highly recommend this lodge.

Susan S.

Yelp
Beautiful grounds with blooming flowers, a yoga barn, and a pond complete with lily pads and bullfrogs. Our room was spacious and very clean with a comfortable bed, minifridge and a futon/couch. George, the owner, is friendly and helpful, as are all the staff members. Breakfast is organic and plentiful. Only 10 minutes from downtown Moab, but away from the strip of motels and tourist shops. Very peaceful.

Yelp
We had a great experience staying in the Eagle Room. A few minute drive to Arches. The room was large, clean, and quiet. Private bathroom. Great ambiance. Breakfast was healthy and fresh. Our 2 year old was welcomed with open arms. At night, we sat outside our room watching the stars. We would have stayed longer but we booked last minute and there was no availability. We will definitely go back and recommend to friends traveling to the area.

Yelp
A beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Quiet setting, beautiful gardens and patio areas, nice rooms, great food, welcoming and relaxed hosts.
