Red Plum Pizza & Pasta

What a great place—brand new and opening this week in the middle of one of the most horrific snowstorms of our time, no less. ❄️💪 They were organized, fast, and a great value for the money. I had the chicken cutlet sandwich and it was excellent—real white-meat chicken with tasty toppings, done right. The staff was very friendly, the bar-top area is a nice touch for dining in, and they mentioned they’re aiming for a liquor license around May or June, which will make it even better. All in all, a very good place, and I highly recommend it. Brave opening, solid execution, and definitely worth checking out. 👍

Update: I’ve been 3 times now. Continues to satisfy. Great staff! Original Review. Basically a jetspizza.com knockoff by the owner of Avalon Inn/The Warren Chophouse, obviously he knows the business. Frico edge is good, crumb was light, not sure if they use brick cheese. Sauce added after baking, no garlic and I found it too sweet. Good addition to that area. Pizza Boy for thin crust still reigns supreme.

Overall I really enjoyed the pizza, chicken tenders, and fries. I should’ve taken the photo for my review right away instead after we ate half! Definitely will go back, only small complaint was the french fries were cold but they just opened, very busy when I was picking up my order, and sure the staff is learning how to get their timing down. The sauce for the chicken tenders was excellent as well!

Well, after many many years, it looks like Wedgewood FINALLY has some competition. We tried Red Plum (boardman loc) tonight and WOW was it good. The crust and sauce are delicious and the cheese is good, although just a tad bit salty for our liking but it did not stop us from devouring the entire pie. The customer service was amazing. I was greeted by multiple staff members and everyone was very nice. Even when I placed our order, Leah was incredibly kind and after I hung up the phone I was pretty impressed bc I dont think Ive ever called a pizza place and got that kind of customer service. So friendly! Yep, we will be returning for sure! Keep up the great work Red Plum Boardman!

Wanted to love it here because it’s SO much closer and we love the Howland location. This pizza ruined my new sweatshirt and car seat… box was FILLED and soaked with grease. Puddles is not an understatement. Forgot our dressing, forgot our extra sauce, wilted soggy lettuce on the salad. Total bummer of a first time experience.

I've dined in and had their Detroit style and ordered a New York style for take out another time, both were very good. We called in our take out order and we were told an hour and a half wait, since they were very busy. We arrived ten minutes early and our pizza was under a stack of five others and luke warm. We had to put it in the oven when we got it home. They need to do better with this. We will definitely go back, as this pizza is good.

So impressed with the food and service here, especially for opening just earlier this week! When we went for dinner (Sunday evening), they were already packed, so we sat at the bar, which was full service. Our server, Kylie, was absolutely phenomenal and balanced many customers during the rush, while also making it a priority to check in and chat with us. Highly recommend the Detroit Style pizza, if you’re looking for something different than traditional crust. Salad portions are huge, but a few have smaller sizes available if you ask. The mocktail selection is also great. Definitely check it out now that the Boardman location is open!

We tried the Veggie Pizza & thr 113 pizza. Both were excellent! The pizza dough is very good! We will be going back! Prices are reasonable. Good service.
