Google
They sure do make it difficult to find food in the city at night. This was one of the only places open that had food around my hotel. The Red Rock Golden Halo was solid. I could have had another easily. The pizza was a decent pizza, almost tasted home made - nothing fancy. Great stuff when there were no other restaurants available though. The place looked a bit run down though, could have been just because it was later at night.

Met here with about 20 people and were able to get a large table and a couple of smaller tables all together. Was very appreciative of the staff to accommodate us. Our server, who waited on all the tables was awesome. He was very attentive and was very willing to make recommendations. There is an awesome selection of both draft and can/bottle beers. The food menu was extensive and reasonably priced. I had the half rotisserie chicken with mixed vegetables and horseradish mashed potatoes. The chicken and vegetables were very good. The mashed potatoes were also good but they were really lacking of a horseradish flavor! Still very happy with my selection. Others at my table had: Margarita Pizza - good Chicken Parmesan - good Red Rocks Burger - just okay. Average cost of a meal and draft: $25 before tax and tip. Overall good experience.

Michael was a great waiter! Not a huge fan of the Beef Cabbage, the spiral fries.. huge fan! My husband had a burger and didn't realize it was on a pita bread instead of a hamburger bun.. he ate and said it was ok. The peach cobbler with ice cream was good!

Stopped here twice while in town for my daughter's volleyball tournament. The first time was for takeout.i was a little disappointed that my food was ready when I got there because I wanted to have to wait a few minutes and have one of their beers at the bar. I got the vegan hot honey sandwich and it was really good. My daughter had chicken Alfredo and a Caesar salad. She said it was good. I went a second time with a large group of parents and they were able to accommodate the large group. The food was good and I recommend the Elepiphino or fukiphino beers.

Wasn’t expecting too much out of this meal as I stumbled upon an open patio, but I was totally blown away. The patio is quaint, but comfortable and my waiter Jacob was pretty attentive, even though I was the only outside table. He recommended the bruschetta, which is what totally knocked my socks off. Walnut crusted goat cheese, full heads of roasted garlic, and traditional tomato/basil mix. It was delightful. Paired quite well with his beer rec - the FUKIPHĪNO. As delicious as the name is funny. Wrapped it up with his dessert rec, the pecan bread pudding. Just YUM. I’m only in town for a few days, but this is a place I’ll recommend to any pals traveling through.

Amazing beers. I did a taster and loved all of them. Decent food as well though the black bean “burger” comes with the patty in a pocket.

Google
It was very busy on my visit. Larger groups were having to wait for a table. I was seated immediately as a table for one outside. The Russian Imperial stout was great 👍 my server was super chill.

Google
Ambience really great and amazing crew , very energetic and active for customer requirements. As beer enthusiast beer glasses served hot as coming from dishwasher, as brewery we expect beer served right way chilled , even bottle is not cold at all room temperature. Food is okay not that great , orders 2 burgers 🍔 and 2 pizzas and onions rings is dipped in oil like forever. Be aware customer will charged for ranch with pizza bizarre. Would consider better options close by .

Yelp
Such a cool brewery! Not only do they offer all their own amazing beers, but they also have great options for seltzers and ciders, making it a well-rounded spot for everyone. The bruschetta was a pleasant surprise--way more than just the simple tomatoes and basil on bread I was expecting. It came with two perfectly roasted garlic bulbs, super flavorful seasoned tomatoes and basil, and a generous ball of creamy goat cheese. The bread was toasted just right with melted cheese, bringing everything together into a delicious, savory bite. What started as a small snack ended up being a perfect lunch. We also tried the seafood sandwich of the day, and it was so good that it was devoured before I could even casually ask for a bite! Overall, great food and drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere that makes for a fantastic outing.

Yelp
I always like the vibe at Red Rock and the food was good. We had the Mac n Cheese and Red Rock Burger with sweet potato fries. The Mac n Cheese was tasty and the Red Rock Burger in a pita pocket is a favorite. The service was terrible. I'm typically a patient guest and prefer to have less interruptions from servers, but our visit this time was extremely bad. Our server was no where to be found, didn't seem interested in taking our order or getting another round of drinks. It's unfortunate how much bad service can impact a nice night out.

Yelp
Quick service at the bar top. I think it's friendly but they definetly aren't as fast as some local breweries that do food. And I honestly think that overall this was a good experience. I just want to let everyone know that usually they do require you to order food with beer. Cool Christmas vibes

Weston P.

Yelp
I enjoy coming here after a long day of work for a nice cold beer. Staff is very friendly. The speed of service is a little inconsistent. When staffed it's quick and some days just seem like they need more people. Fish and chips is excellent and I do like their burger. Their crème brûlée is my favorite desert here. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!

Maureen W.

Yelp
On a lovely snowy afternoon, we hopped in for bite. Bartender service at the bar is always on point and attentive. Tried the pineapple upside down cake martini, y'all this was a tropical paradise!!! Hubby had a nice Pilsner. Shared a pretzel, the beer cheese and mustard mixed together with saltiness oh yeah. We then shared the halibut salad. Fish was cooked to perfection, the meld was fabulous!!! Loved watching the snowfall outside the windows.

Bekah C.

Yelp
My last visit to Red Rock Brewing will most likely be my last, period. It hurts my heart leaving a 1-star review but it feels necessary. My burger's bottom bun was so soggy it was inedible. And both my burger and my fries were cold which wasn't surprising since we waited 24 minutes for our food. The burger lacked a lot of flavor (despite being the weekly special) and the fries were under seasoned and oily. Our server didn't pay much attention to us and never asked how our food was. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

Yelp
Me and my family just got done flying to Salt Lake City and we needed somewhere to eat after our long day of traveling. So, we decided to eat at Red Rock Brewing. To start off, the service was great. Nothing special just pretty attentive, which is always good thing. Next, the food was great I'm ready to have more yet I'm so full. We had the shishito peppers and clams. The shishito pepper is basically Russian Roulette of peppers. Luckily or unlucky I got some spicy peppers. The calms were amazing and the sauce was even better. For the entrees me and my mom shared the sautéd halibut. It was a little overcooked, but it was still really good. My brother and dad got the wood fired pizza. Which they said "The pizza was the first time I had here, it was delicious." Finally, the ambiance was a steel rustic bar with an open format. It was very inviting and it has nice photography of red rocks. I felt very good about this pick for lunch. In conclusion, I highly recommend coming to this restaurant. It has great food, service was on point, and the setting was chilling. Don't miss out on the Red Rick Brewing.

Yelp
Place is not hard to find. Plenty of off street parking. We were seated in 10min. Ordered local doubleIPA, fuckifikonw. It was hoppy and crisp. I think better than my fave Jai-alai from Tampa. It was great! Ordered the New York Stip. with mashed potatoes z steak was juicy and cooked to my liking. Mashed potatoes was cooked well.

Michael E.

Yelp
Great food. The schnitzel was fantastic. Great flavor perfectly cooked. I recommend highly. The mushroom pizza was tasty as well as the Bbq chicken pizza. Took away a full star because the pizza crust is too doughy. Needs to be more crisp and a little more firm. Otherwise would have been a 5 star rating. We had a great server and the place is clean and trendy .

Joe S.

Yelp
This place is in Downtown SLC, not somewhere where you can sit and admire glorious views. Maybe they have another location that has that, but this could use a better name. This was a good option and walking distance to our hotel, and after a long day of meetings, I ordered the Mac n Cheese mostly because it came with Garlic Bread! I will say everything should come with Garlic Bread. The Mac N Cheese was delicious. I really didn't like the beer I had with my meal either, but that's a matter of taste, not the brewery. Service was OK. The waiter stopped by a few times but he was just kind of going through the motions. We were in and out quick which is always a plus.

Emma T.

Yelp
The food was just as good as the brews. We came during a weekday night and had a bit of a wait. Once we got seated, our waiter was so friendly! The food was served hot and fresh. We will absolutely be back.

Yelp
Title: Mixed Experience I recently visited Red Rock Brewery in Salt Lake City, Utah with my family, and I have mixed feelings about our experience. The restaurant was somewhat empty but quiet. We got there prior to the rush! Upon arrival, we were surprised to find ourselves the only patrons waiting to be served. It was a bit perplexing when even the horses seemed to inquire if they could assist us. Nevertheless, our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the beers, which were undoubtedly the highlight of our visit. The variety and quality of brews offered were impressive, and we thoroughly enjoyed trying different selections. However, the same praise cannot be extended to the food. The chicken parmigiana we ordered lacked substance, drowning in excessive sauce that overshadowed any flavor the dish could have had. It was disappointing, to say the least, especially considering the reputation of the brewery. Overall, our experience at Red Rock Brewery was so-so. While the beers and service were commendable, the lackluster food leaves us uncertain about returning in the future.

Annie C.

Yelp
We have gone to Red Rock For years. Most of the time it has been great, but the last few times it seems different. We Went last night, the menu has changed and the quality of food is now disappointing for the price point. We had ok service but not great. They added a 20% fee for our group of 11, and I was nice enough to tip even more than that. Checked my bank statement this morning and they had charged my card substantially more than I put on the receipt. Called and asked for a refund, manager gave some back, but was definitely not great to work with. Won't be back. Sad because it's been our place to go out for 20+ years.

Isabella G.

Yelp
So much potential but everything just fell short. The food is mid and the server wasn't super helpful and just had a bit of a negative attitude.

Lauren K.

Yelp
We visited on a snowy Friday. It was so cozy inside as snow fell upon Salt Lake. It's a great place to go if you're in downtown SLC for a few hours. Do be aware bathrooms are downstairs, if that is an issue for those who knees, joints, legs health concerns. We enjoyed the 'Merican Stout and margaritas the most. The food was also very good. We really enjoyed the pizza. Everything came quickly to the table and the staff were all really friendly. See website for hours, location, menu and more. Be mindful of your receipt. We got over charged twice. It seemed to be an honest mistake and the server corrected it quickly. However, never can be too sure. :)

Lexus F.

Yelp
We were blown away by the amazing service at Red Rock Brewing! Our server, Ian, went above and beyond to provide us with recommendations for beer and entree options. Some favorites at our table were the chicken pot pie, French onion steak sandwich, and the prosciutto and arugula pizza. This is a great spot to come with friends and grab a beer + amazing food!

Alden C.

Yelp
I ducked in here as I wanted to get another Salt Lake City brewery under my belt but also to Red Rock's benefit they are open a bit later than quite a few other places and they serve food. I went here not only to try a beer but I also wanted some dessert. I got a Vienna Lager which wasn't too bad. It was okay but not the best that I have come across. Flavor highlights with this beer was malty, sweet and smooth. The beverage was by no means bad but I just didn't think it was all that memorable. My dessert was a black walnut ice cream. This I liked pretty well! It was in the ebbing days of summer heat when I went here so the ice cream hit the spot perfectly. The menu for food is fairly large so you are bound to find something for a meal (I already had supper prior before coming) and a lot of it is pub fare oriented.

Mylan D.

Yelp
They won't take reservations unless there's a party of minimum 10 people. We came as a party of 6 to celebrate my bestie's birthday. Luckily we were able to find parking 3 blocks away. Their lot behind the restaurant is extremely limited so you may need to walk a few blocks if you're not wanting to pay to park. There's paid parking down the street where they charge by the hour. Stuffed mushroom was amazing! It was deep fried with batter and not sure what it was stuffed with but the tomato sauce they make in house paired very well with it. It was almost like a giant meatball! Onion rings were HUGE! They were bigger than my head! I prefer the smaller rings, but the light breading on this made that crunch I absolutely love. They served it with boring ketchup so I asked for ranch. The blistered shishito peppers were ok. Some had the kick while others were pretty tamed in terms of spiciness. I wanted something drizzled or an aioli to dip my peppers in since it was pretty flavorless. There's a couple wedges of lemon but it didn't do much. The mozzarella triangles were interesting, but still just as tasty as the regular sticks. The cheese still pulls, yum! The wild mushroom polenta was a bit of a shock to me. I wasn't expecting so much tomato sauce covering my dish to the point where it can possibly spill over. The mushrooms were good, but the polenta reminded me of soaked bread. When I was cutting into it. Their chicken pot pie is probably the best I've had. I had a sample of my friends dish and almost took his entree. The flaky crust on top was the STAR! I'm not big on pastry puffs, but this was delicious! Highly recommend this and I plan to gone back and order this next time.

Renee S.

Yelp
Creamy potato soup came piping hot, but tasted like flour. The onion steak sandwich had a good appearance, but it lacked seasoning/flavor. Service was 3/5 stars. He asked if we wanted the sandwich split, to our surprise, we said yes but he didn't have it split. We felt rushed. Hadn't finished our beer and he brought the check. Ok well, 1 and done then I guess.

Danny F.

Yelp
The food was great. I got the chicken parm and it did not disappoint. Not a huge fan of the ciders. A couple more options there would be great. It was not too busy for a Sunday evening. All in all, good place to catch a game.

Travis B.

Yelp
Red Rock is a very, very solid option for good food in Salt Lake. Yes, you can order the Ribeyet and show off the corporate card but there's a lot of options that I would call "comfort food." Start with the daily dish sandwich, generally some awesome grilled fish cooked fresh and put in a pita type shell made from their pizza dough. Add in some fresh veggies and sauce and it's magical. The French Onion soup is magical and so is the Schnitzel. Burgers are solid and the onion rings are the size of a Michelin tire. Oh, they have really good beer here, too, if that's your thing.

Christopher P.

Yelp
Beer was spitting, vibes were hitting, servers sweet as kittens 10/10 would recommend to anyone new to the area to meet people

Ludovica F.

Yelp
Had the sautéed Halibut and the dish was delightful! Even though we came with a very large group, the service was very fast and efficient. I also enjoyed their fried shrimp appetizer! I had never been here before but I will surely be coming back for another delicious meal!

Nasif H.

Yelp
Came here with no expectations and left completely satisfied. It was a pretty busy afternoon, but every interaction we had with Michael was excellent. Ordered a bunch of apps and they were all really good. Chicken pot pie is on point and onion rings are the best I had in a long time.

Gary H.

Yelp
We had a party of 22 today and had an outstanding experience. We were about half adults and half kids. The food was good and the service was outstanding. Our kids were hungry and the food came out very efficiently. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff made our day. We will be back again.

Vanessa W.

Yelp
Had a good experience here. Came for lunch during the week. We got seated right away. Food did take sometime to come out but it was probably because we had a group of 6 and they brought the food out at the same time. Our server was attentive and kept our drinks full. I really enjoyed my New York steak salad it was the perfect size for lunch. Pretty restaurant with cool pictures.

Sam S.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to be on a weekend night. It used to be way more crowded on Saturday night but for whatever reason is not anymore. They still get good amount of people though! The food is great. I get Redrock burger every time I got there and it's my favorite. Served in a pita bread makes it unique! Everything tasted fresh. They have variety of drinks and reasonable prices. The service was nice and our waitress was attentive to us.

Joe H.

Yelp
Great beers and a really nice atmosphere. It was Oktoberfest so I had a schnitzel, was pretty good. Their two flagship IPAs are very strong but are elite. Good service too.

Dan S.

Yelp
So big fan of Red Rock Brewing here, it's one of my favorites. A little loud but still a place I've taken clients for lunch and in town visitors. It seems they have a little bit of everything for everyone. I'm also a creature of habit and when I find something I like I tend to make it my go to. My go to at Red Rock is always the same for me. I start with the Bruschetta to share. Slow oven-roasted tomatoes with fresh basil, served with walnut crusted goat cheese, a whole roasted garlic & Parmesan toasts. $14. I spread the freshly cooked garlic from the cloves, add the goat cheese and sun dried tomatoes, that add a nice contrast and just a little sweetness. One of my favorite appetizers, as I really like goat cheese. 5/5 must try! For an entree I usually go with the steak salad over Caesar salad. Their Caesar salad is really good and they grill a sirloin steak and place on top. Today however I only went with the salad as I didn't think I could finish the steak. Still very good 5/5. My wife was also eating light and just ordered avocado toast. It had a different, but good, blend of flavors and was displayed really nicely. A little different then what she'd had elsewhere. 5/5 My daughter wasn't very hungry either and just ordered mozzarella sticks which were some of the best cheese sticks I've ever tried. 5/5 It's a busy bar setting, a little loud but fun. If you haven't been you should try.

Steph S.

Yelp
The impossible burger was amazing, and I thought I was eating meat the texture was spot on. I added the fry sauce to both my burger and dipped my fries in it. The sweet potato fries were crunchy which I was skeptical because they were waffle fries. There were a couple of larger groups dinning and wasn't too loud. I liked the fact that there were large windows overlooking the brewery area.

Victoria F.

Yelp
On tap beers were very good. I did a four taster "flight". Zweickel is light and delicious. The Munich Dunkel is also easy to drink. The oatmeal stout is not too strong in flavor but still pleasant to drink. Wood fire pizza and pretzel with beer cheese was delicious!

Lauren M.

Yelp
Visiting from California and all I have to say is , food is AMAZING!!!! And our server Tate , thank you so much for your wonderful service !!!

Mary B.

Yelp
The server was very rude. We just wanted a drink and not food. He was extremely disrespectful about that and saying this is a restaurant and I can't serve you another drink without food. We only wanted one drink so not sure why he was so RUDE. On top of that the IPA was terrible so we wo r be back. We had a reservation for the next day for six people and we cancelled. A terrible vibe !!!

Loren W.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the Reuben. A great lunch at a fair price with a relaxing and solid atmosphere. Staff was attentive and on top of things and never felt rushed at any point. Great experience all around.

Barry C.

Yelp
I go here a few times a year when I take the front-runner to Salt Lake. I always get a 3 piece of mozzarella sticks and French Onion Soup and try a different beer. I will always go back.

Peter B.

Yelp
Friends were in town and we decided to try Red Rock. It's a cool place in the downtown area. Serviced started out strong but then went downhill. Our server was good but once our food arrived he disappeared. The food was very good. We started with the wood fired Brie toast. Yum! It was so good. The pear was such a nice part of the appetizer. I had the chopped salad with chicken. It was delicious! Everything worked well together in it. One of my guests had the margherita pizza and she said it was very good. Another had the sautéed shrimp salad and was impressed. And my final guest had the French onion steak sandwich with fries, again he said it was great. We finished with desserts. We shared the peach cobbler, carrot cake and cheesecake. All of them were delicious! I will definitely be back

Nichole G.

Yelp
First of all... the service was fantastic! I believe the server was Regan... if I recall correctly! He checked on us frequently!! The front desk person, when I bought merch, I definitely cannot recall the name, they were very helpful!! Even said the little pins were free! Lol. The food was as expected! I love my Red Rock appetizers! Atmosphere and vibe were spot on, early "dinner" so there wasn't any wait.

Anthony D.

Yelp
I went to the side alley, felt kinda like a speakeasy, to get some IPA's to go. I drove in from Vegas for work and knew I had to stock up before heading back. Was greeted by a lady who filled me in on the different taste notes and ABV of the beers I wanted. Would highly recommend if passing through to get a few 4 packs to go. They come in bottles or cans. I choose the cans , great artwork on them as well. I got the Eliphino and Fukiphino IPA's ( did not disappoint )

Lisa M.

Yelp
The pot pie was the best I have ever had. Service was amazing. We also ordered the Mac and cheese it was super yummy!

Roman C.

Yelp
After a week in Provo, discovering Red Rock Brewing in Salt Lake City was a highlight. After a full day exploring Moab's natural beauty, I was finding limited dining options. Some quick research pointed the way to RRB, and the journey to SLC began. This journey to Salt Lake City proved rewarding with standout dishes like Alaskan halibut fish & chips and the flat iron steak with gorgonzola butter and crispy onion straws. The vibe was awesome, love the industrial design and decor. The beers, especially the oatmeal stout, nut brown ale, and honey wheat brewed with local honey, were exceptional. The Marvella, a "damn good Belgian tripel", sealed the deal of deliciousness. The welcoming staff added to the experience, making Red Rock Brewing a worthy destination for quality food and brews.

Ali A.

Yelp
The service here was stellar!! Our waitress was so kind and on top of everything! Food out fast and amazing. Kids got pizza, mozzarella sticks (fresh made in house) and some vanilla ice cream for desert! On a chilly spring day when the weather changes every 25 min tuck in here for a treat, you won't be sorry you did!! Note: I was able to take some bottles to go at there "beer store" around the corner! Bottled fresh!! That's a first!

Melissa K.

Yelp
We came to red rock because it was close to our hotel really not expecting much. We just wanted a simple meal. I asked for a regular margarita not wanting to pay $14 for the specialty one but he gave me that and charged me anyway and it wasn't a $14 kinda of special. I also ordered a glass of rose and he brought me a upcharge different wine which honestly I didn't notice because we were talking amongst ourselves. The service was not bad, but not good. The food was as we expected and just bland bar food. I don't mind paying money for what I order but do not like leaving feeling ripped off. I won't be back

Judy N.

Yelp
The service was impeccable. I wish I could remember our waitresses name!! The food was excellent. We were a table of nine and everything was handled perfectly!! Sorry did not get pics.

Jana W.

Yelp
I visited Red Rock while I was in town for a conference. It was close to my hotel and I love a brewery. In addition to the pepperoni pizza and the Golden Halo, I tried the Zwickel draft. Honestly, everything was fine. Nothing blew me out of the water, and I'll probably try other places when I'm in town, but I'm glad I stopped by. The wood burning oven did give the pizza a little extra. The vibe was chill, the bartenders were super friendly, and you could tell some of the people there were regulars. If you're in the area, it might be worth checking out.

Steve C.

Yelp
Fantastic food and great beer. I had never had Red Rock until this trip. I was happy with the beers and the various styles they brew. Had the steak sandwich and it could not have been more perfect. Loved sitting outside on the patio too. Service was solid.

Matt S.

Yelp
Very good dinner experience. There was a wait, but didn't take too long. Chicken Pot Pie, salad and Viva La Haiti were a great pairing!

Gavin E.

Yelp
So disappointed in the food. I ordered to-go and I ordered a patty melt with veggies as the side. I get home and they gave me the driest burger i've had in months, with no cheese, toppings, or sauce (i'm talking a 1/4 patty in between 2 pieces of sandwich bread) with a side of fries. ??? What could have possibly gone so wrong in the kitchen? So I'm left thinking someone in the kitchen is either dyslexic or just majorly negligent. My order is completely wrong I would never recommend going here obviously, save yourself the trouble.

Angela P.

Yelp
Winner for the best beer options while we were in town in SLC. We did not try any foods, but the beer selection here was amazing. I found a new favorite beer (Marvella) and there were many more I would have LOVED to try. Will definitely come back next time we're in town. Excellent bar service. Quick and friendly, no BS.

Corey R.

Yelp
Onion rings were amazing, drinks were tasty and the French onion steak sandwich was heavenly. Just moved to Utah and this is going to become a regular in my places to go!
