Red Rooster Bar

Red Rooster was on our list of recommendations and it lived up to the hype! The parking lot was packed; good sign! I was immediately greeted by one of the pizza bakers as I accidentally walked into the take out side. “I hope you like it!” He called out as we made our way to the dine in section. Is this a dive bar? Yes! Did we love it? Yes! The pizza, onion rings and house ranch was fabulous! The same pizza creator stopped by our table to ask how we liked the pizza. Good food, good service; don’t miss out! Almost forgot, HALF PRICE PIZZA ON SUNDAYS!!

The staff was nice and the pizza was delicious it's always been a great spot my family been coming here for years

One of the most finest Indian restaurant/ bar in mississauga I must say. Staff is awesome the vibe when you walk in it’s like your in vegas.. the food was so good, me and my family enjoyed every moment. Prices are very good compare to other places. This would be our regular spot every week. Since this is few mins drive from my office I’ll be coming here for drinks and lunch.

I've been a customer for 35 years. Bought the cod on Friday's. No longer the same,way to much batter and a lot of brown in the fish. Gave up on the cod. Started ordering pizza again. Bought a deep dish with ham and pineapple on 10/ 9/25. Ate one piece and going to garbage. The pineapple tasted fermented and was hard as a rock. Done with the red rooster.

Friday fish fry, all you can eat...off the proverbial "hook". Their pizza's are phenomenal. Enough toppings fall off to make another pizza. They do it right, may have to wait a little bit, but worth it. That kitchen is buzzing nonstop, because, yup, you guessed it... its that good!

For a little "hole in the wall", this place is wonderful! The food is always great, despite the large menu, the staff is kind (FOHand BOH) and have the hustle, and they keep entertainment flowing here (karaoke, like, ALL the time)! Our new favorite bar!!

Was just driving by the Red Rooster by chance. Never heard of it but the sign and parking lot made me think I needed to get food from here. Ordered a small deep dish with a few toppings. Came in at about $17. Seemed a little steep for 6 slices. I know deep dish is a “Detroit” thing but somehow Belleville seemed to top any Deep dish I’ve have had from the D. Great sauce and the way it was cooked I got to taste all the ingredients. Great pizza.

Please don't offer free bread if you're going to give us old, nasty, bland, inedible bread that I wouldn't feed to my dog. 0/5 The wings aren't zesty or anything special, just GFS wings tossed in RedHot's hotsauce. 3/5 The whole farm pizza has 10 toppings and extra cheese so ask for it well done or it'll be soggy, otherwise it's flavorful. 4/5 3.5/5 overall.

It's pretty good as far as takeout is concern.. the problem becomes when you go to eat. Visited this place twice within the last month in both times horrible customer service on the inside. The first time we were the only people in the restaurant who could not get service, the last time I stood at the door for 15 minutes waiting for a table... mind you there were empty tables they were just dirty and the waitresses were too busy focusing on everyone in there as well as eating. I literally cannot make this up. I think the people seated inside seen me standing so long they started to feel bad for me because they kept looking at me.. that's terrible. Sucks because I like this place too.

This is my second review..... This place just delivered the BEST pizzas!!!!!! Within 30 minutes might I add ;) I'd wait hours, but still. Thank you for always delivering on the taco pizza. 10/10 big fan

Do not get the double crust. However, Sundays, they offer half price pizza. Even for the all meat pizza, which was delicious! Going back on the 17th and will update my review accordingly.

Pizza is great but prices are out of control in November the 2 large 2 item with bread sticks was 25.00 July it is 33.99 bread sticks were free with 10.00 orders now free with 20.00 order. A large as gotten smaller the couple years.

We are from out of state and just got into town for camping for a week. We walked in and they were really busy, but didn't want to leave and go some place else. Someone gave up their table for the 5 of us to sit. The service we received was fabulous and we will definitely have to come back again before we leave. The waitress knew her job and made our dinner worth it!

First time here and it will be our last. The service was very poor and slow. We got a burger basket and the burger was cold when it came out -fries were lukewarm . Fish fry was pretty good though. Make sure you check your bill too because they had added an appetizer on ours that we did not get or order.

If you guys wanna close before 12am or didn't wanna pick up the phone yall could just close at 11pm instead of giving false hope I literally waited on the phone for 20 mins just to see if someone would answer I will never spend a dime here ‍9/23/24

Grew up on this pizza, as kids you were either a Rooster or Benito's person (although now there is a hungry Howies nearby too). I was always a rooster gal. Love love the crust, it tastes homemade, does not taste frozen. Cons, they don't have red onions. Otherwise solid pizza, uncomplicated and always consistent.

I've ordered from here my whole life and I've really never had a problem besides, a couple missed items that they usually will bring to you free of charge, but paying $15 for fish and getting this is a rip off in my opinion I personally would not pay for this again.

Hello ...Red Rooster is anybody home? When I called you on Saturday September 5th your system picked up and told me somebody will be with me shortly as if you were open. Google said you were open, Yelp said you were open, your own website said you were open. And I held for 5 minutes, listening to your stupid specials repeat themselves over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Were you irritated in the number of times I used the word over? Know my frustration. I called back four times same thing nobody ever answered. If you're not going to be open turn your answering system off or leave the appropriate outgoing message indicating such. Or, if you're not sophisticated enough to utilize the current technology that you possess, please feel free to revert back to Old School. You can probably pick up some rotary phones on eBay still. Current score is 1.75 Stars rounded up to two. Because your pizza is so damn good you can get it back up to 4 something. How... will you do it?

So i know super random but they have my favorite chicken salad and cobb salads here! Had to stop in to grab some togo for lunch. My husband had never eaten there salads only there pizza (equally amazing ) I always order off slice for delivery and togo. Always seems to be a coupon of some sort or deal for pizzas.

The place is not that clean and the food I got was not great. The service was ok though.

Service is not as good as it used to be Went fri for fish It took over an hour to get our bread and drinks 1 1/2 hrs more till our order came Asked for additional fish right when we got our food 2 hrs later no additional fish and never even refilled our drinks But it tasted good

We were told this place has good Mexican food (obviously not most days) and decided to try it but we could not get past the musty smell and ended up leaving before ordering any food. Drove to Saline to get good Mexican food

Love the restaurant and food. But, do NOT use the "slice" app or defaulted to online. They advertise "no hidden fees" blah blah blah. First thing is a $1.00 b.s. fee from slice if online. This is what toast tried to do and got sued. Complete b.s. Call red rooster, place order, get great food and screw the online markup.

Good pizza and pricing also nice atmosphere. Great local place to eat and hang out with friends

Posting for my husband. He went there May 2023 with his brother. They loved the pizza and the next day too. They almost did karaoke!! Brought home a T-shirt. The owner went above and beyond to make sure 2 inebriated guys (1 nicknamed Rooster) from Arizona got to their hotel safely. I can't thank her enough :)

Best pizza I've ever had! No matter whichever pizza I order off of the menu I have not been disappointed! The wife and I will eat dinner at Red Roster because my wife love's the all you can eat fish dinner Friday night ,( I do not care for fish anywhere) so it's good for both of us that I like there pizza's. Great waitstaff that are friendly. There's usually a wait to get in on Friday's around 7:00pm 10 to 15 minutes but it's worth the wait.

Today was my first time ordering from Red Rooster & I'll definitely order again. Both of the things that I ordered looked so good that I ate some before remembering to take a picture. I got the special for a large 1 topping pizza, 10 piece breadsticks, and a 2 liter of pop for $16.55 & it was so worth it.

Garlic Parm Wings are good plus like 5 different flavors, coconut shrimp is good and the fried shrimp is good, subs are good, but to me the pizza is damn good.

Stopped in while in the area after a kids sports game. Kids and parents both loved the pizza and appetizers! I had a sub and it was very good. I would agree there is a smell when you walk in that is little different but loved the food and our waitress was awesome!

So a coworker suggested this little spot in the boonies...and it was pretty good. Cheesey, good tasting bread, generous toppings, and affordable. We ordered 2 large 2 topping pizzas with bread for 18.99!! Check them out!

Don't let the name pizzeria fool you. There's much more than pizza on the menu, even though on Sunday nights the pizza is half price. Local folks have been coming here for years and years, making this a very popular spot even though for many it would be off the beaten path and a bit of a hole-in-the-wall (just the kind of place I favor, btw). Anyway, I think every one of those locals showed up on the same half-price-pizza Sunday night that we did, making it feel a little crowded, even with tables appropriately Covid-spaced. Several parties showed up after we did but left because there were no available tables. Patrons followed the mask up rule, but alas, one server (not ours) did not. That said, we were more than happy with our food: a burger and fries and a rueben. My rueben ranneth over!! The corned beef was the most delicious I have ever tasted, on a sandwich or not. It melted in my mouth! And there were so much of it! Portions were so big, there was no way we could finish either dish so we boxed up and took home. We weren't alone; we saw lots of folks leaving with boxes. For the price, the portions are more than generous. Since we took food home anyway, we decided next time we will just do take out, also a very popular choice among locals. Note: there are separate entrances for take out and dine in. The friend who turned me on to this spot raves about the tacos, a Tuesday special. A whiteboard on one of the walls is marked like a monthly calendar and every day is filled with a special, including $1 sloppy joe night, definitely something to crow about!

Probably the best pizza around and very cold beer at the bar. This is now the place I go when we want pizza. Also the ranch dressing is incredible. Clair and Rachelle will take the best care of you at the bar. Or just go around to just the take out side and order away. I'm a huge fan of this place.

I'm so glad this restaurant stayed open. Having a takeout and delivery service within 3 miles out in the boondocks was and is a godsend. They lost dances, bands, and karaoke for now (StuPid CoVid) but we generally do not go there late at night. We go for the AYCE Friday fish fry, Sunday or Monday 1/2 off pizza deals. Claire is the best waitress, and wife of the owner. Bree is a good waitress too amongst the 8 or so. We found out they almost closed due to CoVid. I think we might have starved if they had. Others too as during April thru June or July there dining room was closed. Lines at the takeout and delivery were long and long waits for both. Our daughter got there one Friday evening and waited 2+ hours for food. The lines are long gone though, but the food is delicious, hot, and served generally quickly. We try to go early, as they open at 10Am and we are retired. We have gone there since TinPan became McShanes and got pricy and stopped all the specials TinPan had, including Friday night AYCE fish, chicken inexpensive Wednesdays, and more importantly Tin Pan's BREAKFAST! Granted Red Rooster also has no breakfast ( yet, though I don't expect it anytime soon), but it would be nice. Breakfast is my favorite. DAILY SPECIALS. Everyday there are specials to be had. Tuesday Tacos, Wednesday Spaghetti ( wish Lasagna was made here, oh well). Other days Thursday and Saturday I can't remember, so they aren't my cup of tea, nut could be yours. Wings are an everyday special too. 2 orders gets you free fries and they are good, (normal and steak fries!) 5 sauce flavors to choose on wings , I go for Teriyaki and Buffalo. Adding baked on cheese to fries is a winner here, more mozzarella for me please! Stop in. Play "Wagon Wheel" by Darius Rucker for me. That song is one of many on the 1 credit playlist. I downloaded the AMI jukebox program and can safely add songs from my phone. If you don't want to touch the jukebox touch screen during these times, you can too, it's free! They have plenty of beer, mixed drinks, wine, and the good stuff. I don't normally drink, but many here do. This place has a 'Cheers' like atmosphere, same people most of the time, but strangers and newcomers need not fear. Definitely a working class bar. Leave the suit at home, but come and enjoy good food, good service, and good down to earth folks. Also good prices on the food to.

I haven't had Red Rooster Pizza since I was a kid but when my mom whipped out their flyer demanding we try it again I was on board. We called and ordered their medium cheese and pepperoni on special for $10, and they even delivered! On to the pizza. Greasy slices of heaven. Loved the cheese, loved the pepperoni, loved everything about it. If I weren't watching my girlish figure I would have ate more than 2 slices....more like the whole pizza.

We have ordered from Red Rooster many times. Last night we had our first mediocre experience. However how they handled it turned it from bad to outstanding. We ordered thru the Slice App which we were directed to from their website. Unfortunately the toppings listed on the site didn't match what came on the actual item. We also received the wrong 2 liter, which by itself wouldn't have caused me to call. I called to let them know about the discrepancy between what Slice said and what we got. This is normally where other establishments make things worse. Not this time! What I got when I called was a sincere apology, a solution to the problem and a thank you for bringing it to their attention! What they got is a lifelong customer who will always suggest Red Rooster to others! Take care of your customers and they will take care of you. Thank you!

This is a place I could never go to before the smoking ban took effect. It was just too smoky. We have been now a couple of times since that and found the place a bit hit or miss, food and crowd wise. The pizza is obviously the specialty here and its decent. They also do calzones and apparently are a local fave for Friday fish fries. The place always seems to be doing a great business and the crowd seems to be mostly regulars and locals. Our first pizza here was a hand tossed with the meats and I was happily surprised. Good texture, plenty of toppings, pepperoni under the cheese as requested. The second visit in here was to sample deep dish which was an odd combo of under and overcooked. On that night we were treated to some very loud and obnoxious patrons as well. Not the restaurants fault although they certainly did not do anything about it or seem particularly taken aback. We would have said something about the pizza but we ended up taking nearly a whole pie home to get out of the place and did not feel like returning. It was edible after a reheat at any rate. I am sticking with a three rating because I feel like it was a one off issue, I still am sticking with the hand tossed option here though.

Just tried the friday fish fry after hearing it was one of the best. Yep! Gotta say I was not disappointed. Nice size portions also.

I have been coming here for a least 4 years and I have had my bday party here twice...... The food the pizza and service is amazing... Their like family.. I will always come here and will recommend it!!! So this e are stopping by for a fun night Come on Friday nights (d. J)

The food here is really good! It is different then most of the chain pizza places in the area. Instead of using a convection oven they use a regular oven so the flavor is different and the look of it is different. They also hand stretch all of their dough as well as make their own homemade sauce! I am a huge fan of other breadsticks with cheese, deep fried Cauliflower, and just regular round pepperoni pizza! I have a pretty extravagant menu. They have subs, salad, grilled food such as hokey and burgers, and deep-fried things such as french fries, deep-fried mushrooms, mini tacos, and of corse their pizza which they have both round and deep dish! In addition to everything mention they also have fish fry on Fridays and it is absolutely phenomenal!! Every piece is hand cut and hand battered!! You can get individual pieces or you can get it in a meal comes with steak or skinny fries, and coast law, and a roll with butter. And the thing is if you eat inside of the restaurant/bar it's all you can eat for a certain price. Which come on, you can absolutely not beat that anywhere. Delicious :-) And also, if you eat inside of the restaurant/bar on Mondays all their pizza is half off!! They have other specials as well, like taco Tuesday, spaghetti Wednesday. This place really is awesome. I recommend it to everyone who is local or everyone who passes by the area. Stop by and check it out. It's a family owned restaurant too, which makes it all the better :-)

I dine in (when possible lately lol) pick up, and order delivery from Red Rooster all the time. They are always friendly, have amazing food, and have fair prices. One of my favorites in the area, would definitely recommend and usually choose this when I want pizza. Their chicken tender dinners are also delicious, the list goes on though. I've never tried anything bad from here. Great BLT pizza, spaghetti & meatballs.. 10/10.

Food used to be great, but the last TWO times I ordered, the bread sticks were still raw inside. Whatever you've changed....it's not working....going back to Benitos.

We were driving through the area and decided to stop for a pizza. The smell was of the pizza outside was very good, so inside we went....that's where the pleasant experience came to a halt. The small dine in are reeked of urine..like someone had relieved themself in a corner. The large fan they had going at full speed only made it worse. Needless to say we left and I can't say we'll return, even for carryout. To many so sees about the sanitary conditions.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! The food here is amazing!!! I mostly get the pizza! This pizza is on another level!!! I don't think you can go wrong with getting anything on the menu! I've recommended this place to people and they come back and tell me they loved it! If you're checking this place out go ahead and pull the trigger on this place! You won't regret it!!!

Very pleased with the crispy chicken salad! The chicken is so good, and the mozzarella is a nice change from a regular salad.

Found this place using the Yelp app and reviewed the comments. Gave it a try ordering 2 large deep square dish pizzas for a carryout 1 with pepperoni and ground beef, the other with pepperoni and ham, extra sauce on both. A charge for the extra sauce was a surprise. Sauce is a main ingredient on how I judge a pizza. The pizza items were placed evenly and plentiful. Everyone and myself commented how delicious these pizzas were. The price was very fair and did not mind the extra sauce charge. I am definitely a repeat carryout customer.

I absolutely love this place! Their pizza doesn't get any better ... The southwest chicken is my favorite! On Sunday & Mondays if you dine in or at least order a drink (cheap beers too!!) it's 1/2 off!!!! Friday night fish fry is AWESOME...really yummy, crispy fish, delicious tartar (which is key imo), their fries are always good! Love the nachos on taco Tuesday's.. More than enough to share and they have one of the best Reuben sandwiches I've ever eaten! Oh, shrimp on Thursdays is a fantastic deal!! Can't say enough about their food!! Note: if you want ambiance this isn't your spot. It's outdated, crowded, loud but the people watching is entertaining to say the least. Love love this dive!

Mediocre Pie at best. Expect your pie to consist of 1/2 uncovered "crust" with a bit of cheese, sauce and toppings in the center (owner has obviously told his "cooks" to watch his food cost). If I wanted bread-sticks, I would order bread-sticks. And to beat all, they wrap their Oven Baked Subs in Plastic Wrap. Yup Plastic Wrap so that by the time it arrives at your door it is a wet, steamy, soggy mess. Are proper to-go boxes too expensive? This joint is so fortunate to be one of the only delivery places in the area and I would love to see them be forced to compete. If you think this is "great pizza", you really need to buy a used junker car and get out more.

Fast and polite service. Food brought to the table was HOT. We tried the fried pickle spears and they were truly exceptional. Because they are spears and not chips, it's not like eating a lot of fried breading- you can taste the pickle. Their ranch dressing tastes homemade. And good. We also got a pizza and while their crust isn't that exciting, their sauce is very tomatoey and quite delicious, and their cheese is extra gooey and generously applied. We will return soon and probably try the calzones and salads and other appetizers (especially the fried mushrooms and jalapeños). I'm deducting one star for atmosphere, because it is truly in need of some polish, except I also kind of dig it. The paint looked fresh but the floor (carpet) was a little scary.

I have to admit that the rating is probably mostly due to the amount of beer consumed during my visit but HEY, if it works, then just go with it! We slipped into this place because my husband wanted to give it a try. The parking lot was full and I was pretty hesitant but we went anyway. When we arrived there were only maybe two tables available. We sat down next to some nice people who were obviously enjoying themselves. One chick was drunk singing to EVERY song but we truly enjoyed the atmosphere. They had karaoke going and when no one wanted to sing the DJ would play something that half the bar would dance to. We ordered a small deep dish meat lovers pizza and some Poppers. My husband and I each ordered a bottle of Molson. Let me say that I think there was only one waitress for the entire place but MAN did she handle it well. No one was complaining and she was generally on top of everything we needed. Our poppers were delicious and the beer washed them down perfectly. They had Fosters on tap so that is what we washed the pizza down with. The food was great, the beer was great, and the people were hilarious and fun. We'll be back again to enjoy another hillbilly yeahaw!! Love this DIVE!!!

The pizza here is very good. Mondays have half price pizza if you dine in. I'm not sure what the policy is for carry-out. The service is horrible. The place seems to cater to locals/regulars...most of whom are pretty rowdy. We waited over 15 minutes and finally had to walk up to the counter to get menus. The waitress then took another 10 minutes to take our order. The "regulars" seemed to be getting great service. Our pizza took another 25 minutes. The waitress never came back. We had to again go to the counter to request a box and the bill. I ordered water and was told they "only do bottled water" for $1.75 a bottle. It is also pretty dirty. I tried to just focus on the pizza and not think too hard about the surroundings. We ordered bacon on the pizza and it was great-- whole strips of super crispy bacon. Yummm. Just know that you are going to be ignored if you aren't covered in tattoos and don't have a wicked smoker's cough.

I haven't been to the Rooster in a while and I was craving pizza. We arrive and there's three tables with a few people at them, the place is fairly dead for a Saturday at 6:00 p.m. with a couple of regular looking types at the bar. We wait. We wait. We wait. Finally a very frantic waitress runs over, plops down menus and says she'll be back. I notice the menu has changed and a lot of my favorite pizza's are gone, this is a bummer. We wait. We wait. We wait. Eventually she rushes back and asks what we'd like to drink. We order beverages and our pizza because...we don't want to wait... She hustles back with the drinks and a few more tables fill up. She is really running now. We wait. We wait. We wait. Out of somewhere in a dark cavern behind the bar, an owner looking type wanders out and puts the pizza stand, cheese and pepper flakes on the table. She walks away then half way across the restaurant yells "You wanna 'nother beer hun?" So much for being part of the Carrie Nation Club...I nod now that everyone in the restaurant has looked at me. We wait. We wait. We wait. My beer arrives, it's cold and pretty cheap for a pint so I tell myself it will be ok. Frantic waitress flies by and says "It's almost out of the oven and I'll rush it over to you all hot!" I nod, she's doing her best as the place fills up. The owner type flits about and the person behind the bar isn't doing anything to help. We wait. We wait. We wait. I notice a few tables getting really cranky, no drinks, no menus, food coming out very slow from the kitchen. My beer is almost gone. In a flash, frantic waitress brings our steaming hot pizza. She smiles and asks if I want another beer. Yeah, I do, I'm not driving and beer/pizza is a classic combo. The pizza is good, not great, goodish. The dough tastes a tad old, not fluffy, kind of tough but there's an ample amount of cheese and toppings. I scarf it down. We leave as the place is now full...7:45 p.m. I'm going to Benitos or TinPan next time.

Midwestern bar food at it's best. One of the top three or four cheesesteaks in the Midwest. And we know, everyone thinks Philly is where it's at for chessesteaks, and it is, but it's also right here at Red Rooster. This last time around my cheese wasn't as melted into the steak as we like it, so we didn't get that creamy melty gooey goodness we really like with melted orange American cheese, but it was still a great sandwich. Everything else is pretty great too. All their deep fried goodies are perfectly cooked and unhealthy and delicious. Maybe the best mozzarella cheesesticks anywhere. Poppers. Fries. All the good stuff. The pizza is one of our favorites. A little thinner than traditional Midwestern style crust but there's no crisp too it. Maybe what a NY style crust would taste like if it was pan baked. Which for our money is super tasty shit. The bar prices are good, as are most bar prices in Southeast Michigan. Unless you're in Ann Arbor. Selection is a little more Bud and Miller redneck, so don't go there looking for selection, but if you just want a drink or two to wash down lunch, then its right on right on.

Ordered pizza from here for the first time about a month ago. The pizza was okay. The one star is for a disregard for sanitary conditions. It was in the midst of COVID and I was shocked to see an entire kitchen full of workers with NO masks on. Food right under workers faces without masks. When I asked why they weren't wearing masks, the response was that they have health checks. Regardless, this was unsafe, unsanitary given the situation, and extremely uncourteous to their customers. Will not be returning after seeing how they manage their restaurant in the face of a health crisis. I hope they see this review and update their policies for the sake of this community.

My wife and I stopped in here with my mother & father in law last Friday. I ordered the fish & chips. Really good. Not too greasy, and the pieces were huge! It's a cool, divey little place. The ladies were hustling their tables like crazy. But they were all very friendly. My mother in law ordered their calzone. Good God that thing looked good. The rest of us had the fish. The place is small, but worth it.

The pizza is great and I mean top notch which you couldn't tell by the Dive Bar look and feel of the place. The place has been there since I was a kid. You get a dive waitress, dive dinning room, customers and bar but you get amazing Pizza. You can skip all the dine in part and order out. Seriously I've been everywhere for pizza and this is where its at y'all.

Beware! I just used their new online ordering and there was an almost 9 dollar difference. When brought to the attention of the lady working the carry out counter she said "yeah I know, not my problem" and refused to pay me back the difference. This may be the online service's fault, however good customer service is a nice thing to have. I guess I'll just pay online for it next time to get the cheaper price. Don't pay cash you'll get screwed!
