Red Star Chinese Restaurant

I got so sick fr their chicken & broccoli. I will never go there again. Plz, be careful w/their food. I thought my stomach was gonna blow up & felt like throwing up. I didn't eat anythn else but hear tht day. I thnk GOD I know about baking sode. Never again

This area is tragic but the food was somehow worse 🥴 ordered the general tso chicken combo An egg roll and water. Man the chicken was horrible. Chewy as hell and unpalatable. The rice was ok but had a freezer type smell to it. I was in the area for work and didn’t wanna go too far for a meal but I soon regretted it. I’m a believer in the worst neighborhoods have the best food but I was wrong 😑this one matched it’s surroundings very well.

Called them for the first time they delivered and followed the delivery instructions perfectly also were there in about 20 mins from the time I called which was unbelievable then I open the food to find out it is exactly what I wanted and taste amazing perfect place to order from one meal and a two liter of Pepsi for 15 bucks +5$ tip delivered to my door is not bad at all

Since they changed owners like two months ago. The prices went up. The food is not good at all. I will say the manager is very nice.

I've only ordered dumplings and lo mein from here. It's always good

Since I was introduced to this restaurant, I fell in love with it, food was excellent. Last night , the chicken, that I ordered, was dry, it didn’t seem like, I got the whole chicken half, one small piece of breast the leg was like a half a leg two small half of thighs, the wing couldn’t eat at all.. was very very disappointed, it wasn’t worth the money. My brother, said his half of chicken wasn’t good either. I would like to eat here again, but not if I cannot get quality food.

Still on point even though i only had a half of chicken fried hard. It was as tasty as it was from backn in the days... I can and will definitely order a whole meal from them when i'm not just in the mood for chicken!!!! I've been ordering from them for over 20+ years and will never stop, it's definitely must try.

Was buying something in Connecticut , on my way back home looked up for a chinese food near by and found this one too have a good rating , so I placed an order of chicken teriyaki with shrimp fried rice and omg it was so delicious like no other restaurant my food was ready so quickly ! Totally recommend if you are looking for a new chinese restaurant . I live in New York whenever I come back will be ordering from here again.

Food here is absolutely delicious everything was great and packed with flavor also I love the little stickers they add to seal the food KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK GUYS !!!

Since my local favorite is now closed on Monday, I had to branch out. Taking this opportunity to try a new restaurant that boasts "delicious Chinese Food" on their menu I called (New) Red Star. The ordering process was a bit painful, they kept asking me to call back which I did, three times. I ordered General Tso's Tofu with veggie fried rice. It arrived about 40 minutes after ordering. At first glance, it looked good and correct. ( No pork fried rice in error. ) It was some of the worse food I have in a long time. The tofu was fried to the point of disintegration. The sauce was thick and tasted burnt. At least there was the rice.
