I was painting a few streets down and roast beef sounded better than pizzas, and it was definitely and infinitely so! The hot food is hot and the cold food is cold. The dining room is cafeteria style, but it has character and is clean! If you love gravy smothered roast beef with potatoes then this is the place for you! A true hidden gem in our fair Glass City!

Amazing! I love a restaurant that is happy just being itself! Red Wells I can see why you have been in business for almost a century, you have made yet another fan in the Meyer family.Thank You! Clean dining room, friendly helpful staff and a well executed and unencumbered menu. More new eateries need to stop trying to appeal to every taste and end up missing the flavor mark on about 75% of what leaves their kitchen. Whats wrong with nailing 8-10 things with consistency? Red Wells you have mastered exactly that!

The roast beef was delicious and at a reasonable price. They have a home-feel dining area and the food is served cafeteria-style. My order was to go and included mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, both of which were very good. I would recommend this place and will be visiting again soon.
Their hours are 10:30am-8pm Mon-Sat. Their prices were about $4 / sandwich with about $1 extra / side.

A West Toledo staple, I've been eating here since I was a little kid. After all these years, it's still the best roast beef I've ever had. Simple, cafeteria style restaurant, never busy, clean with friendly staff...and super cheap!

FOOD..like MAMA NEVER COULD MAKE!...mmmm...the Corn Beef Hash..the Roast Beef Sandwiches..(Ask them to dunk the bread!!!...the cream corn with pepper!!!....i'm drooling now..and 200+ miles away! OH..and if you ask really nicely..they will give you the crusted ends of the roast for the sandwich..where the flavor is at! :)
