Red White And Blue Thrift Store - Pittsburgh (Route 51)

We love both of the Pittsburgh area RWB stores but unfortunately we often find price stickers placed over areas that they shouldn't be, like on this Steelers logo. Trying to remove the sticker can also peel paint from the item. It is often very difficult to remove the price sticker, even after soaking or using a solvent. It would not be that hard to simply place the sticker on the bottom of the item, such as this piggy bank or plates and glassware. Anyone looking to buy something is always going to turn an item over anyway. Please try to be more aware of this when marking the items you are selling. Thank you.

First of all whoever had written about this store having good deals must have been paid to lie. For example Dove deodorant was 3.99. Always pads 4.99. Liquid hand soap 4.99. These are not deals. This is the same type of pricing I saw throughout this store. People were buying because they thought there were deals. There were NO deals at this store. The store is filthy. The bathrooms are filthy. Keep in mind they are getting donations of items. Personal hygiene products should NEVER be that expensive at a thrift store. The bathrooms don’t even have air sanitizers. The windows were filthy. Recently, they posted an ad for a General Manager with a salary of around $90,000 annually. For what? save your time and the need to shower with hand sanitizer after you leave this place. One good point, Sayed, the cashier was very friendly and helpful.

CASH ONLY STORE. This store has a lot of variety of things. Really like the dvd and book section. Found some dinning chairs that we really needed for only 7.99 each. Grateful that places like this exist. Employees were nice and patient with me when I didn't have cash. Thank you Will for helping me with the chairs when you saw me struggling!! Will be back. 👍

Wow prices have really increased since the beginning of the year. 3 Barbie dolls in a bag used to be $3.99 and now they are $7.99. Will go elsewhere. Sell at a reasonable markup and the store will move more merchandise. Store was packed full on a Monday morning and stuff should have moved over the weekend.

I love thrifting here I always find the best stuff! But I have been harassed by 2 different men here. Be careful coming here, especially at night. I’m pretty sure the 1 is a worker who works in the downstairs area.

This store is a mess and so gross!! The woman in the photos below that someone already posted has THE nastiest attitude. Wouldn't help us get the bathroom cleaned up (garbage overflowing with poop all over)🤢 She also wouldn't even give us any soap or paper towels.(Both empty) She said no one is here that can clean that! My son then asked a nicer man up front to use the other restroom (that said customer restroom right above it on the sign) and the man felt terrible and gave him the code. She then came stomping down and yelled at my son and said it wasn't for us! I told him if he isn't allowed to use it then just don't and we need to follow the rules even though she's a terrible person. She then said "I know you will use it when I turn the corner so shut the door when you're done!" 😲 Prior to going to this location we visited the other one (it's amazing) and it was closed due to unforeseen circumstances. So I called this location to just make sure they were open and she answered with "If I answered do you think we're open?" 😳 I will not ever go back to this store! :( She needs help and moved to behind the curtains 🤷🤣 Her behavior and attitude don't belong up front!!!

I have always liked this location along with the store in Bellevue. The parking lot is still terrible. The employees here are not rude like some reviewers have mentioned but I would argue that a lot of the people who shop here are. I have had people carelessly hit me with their carts and nobody seems to know how to say "excuse me," so expect to have to deal with some people who lack manners. Always good finds here though!

The one on 51 USED to be my fave thrift store it's gone so down hill clothes all over the floor nothing is organized they stopped separating sizes and putting them in separate isles looks more like a junk store than a thrift store. Even the merchandise is gone downhill. Keep taking away parking spaces n still raising prices! Your customer base has even declined. It used to be packed everyday. I'm a avid thrifter and used to love spending 3-4 hours in there and still not spending over $100 wth a cart full of items. The only store I still go to is the one on Ohio Blvd and once that one goes then st Vincent here I come it's a little farther out but it's clean organized and the prices are still thrift store prices AND! u aren't forced to pay cash!!
