RedDoorz Hostel

The place is good for people who are looking for a place to stay the night and shower, which is ideal to me. The location isn't too far off, and the price I paid wasn't too expensive. It was clean enough and the lady at the front desk was really helpful and friendly. The only downside that I can think of is the shower stall was a bit stinky? It wasn't dirty or anything but there was definitely this weird smell to it. Other than that, the hairdryer doesn't work after certain hours, to not disturb the other customers I assume so better take note of that. Overall it's a great place to stay at.

Wifi was really strong, the rooms were generally clean (fine for the price we paid), bathrooms were kept pretty clean. The hallway got a bit loud but not too bad. The walls were thick so I didn't hear any noise from outside the hostel. We didn't buy breakfast there. Had a nice entrance area to chill/hide in the A/C. Good location and super close to a metro stop.

One of the best hostels I've ever been to in Singapore. The bed is clean. Bathroom was okay. Staffs are helpful. I really like the kitchen/common room. Very comfy and cozy. Definitely gonna go back.

Solid value. The room was pretty classic hostel dorm style but I had no complaints. Everything was clean and usable, no bed bugs or mosquitoes. The wifi was okay as well. The location was close enough to some interesting shopping areas. I think the best part of this hostel is that the public lounge area is pretty comfy and clean.

You have to take stairs to the elevator which is kind of counterintuitive. Service is pretty good, usually run by teens so sometimes a bit misinformed but they try to be friendly. The dorm rooms were cramped and the top bed frame was loose so getting up was a bit of a hassle. The bathrooms were significantly more cramped. With all the cramped atmosphere sometimes it'd smell funky around but overall cleanliness was good. Breakfast is very simple bread or cereal basically. Location was great as you can walk around a lot of places.

It’s not my style to write negative reviews, but got here yesterday and already have some disappointments. First of all, it took a bit more than usual to check in since I had to wait for my bed to get ready and then the (not so friendly) receptionist sent me to the wrong bed in the wrong room. The showers are so small that you clean yourself and your hanging clothes get wet at the same time. The toilets smell like some public place you have been before (awful). However the beds are comfy, they should use some curtain to have a division between uses, bringing privacy. Good points though, they offer you laundry service (for free) and breakfast.

Overall the location is good as it's near to 2 MRT station (Bugis & Nicoll HIghway). Not sure with breakfast as I was told my booking does not include breakfast but no worries as there are eateries around the hostel. Free coffee and tea all time, comfortable lounge with Netflix available. Towel not provided so remember to bring own towel.

Pro Clean bunks with big locker spaces and space on the floor to go through your bags. The kitchen and living space was very clean and comfy.
