The perfect spot for a festive feast at Dempsey! Had a wonderful dinner at RedDot Brewhouse! The atmosphere at Dempsey is always great, but the food really stole the show this time. We ordered a mix of their signatures and the Christmas specials. The Crispy Pork Knuckle was absolute perfection—crackling skin on the outside and tender meat inside, paired perfectly with the sauerkraut. We also got the Satay platter (pork and chicken) which had a great char, and the Grilled Squid was fresh and came with a delicious dipping sauce. Since it’s the holiday season, we tried the Christmas Turkey, which was surprisingly moist and came with a rich creamy sauce. The presentation was super cute, especially the festive Santa cocktail with the sugared rim! Great vibes, huge portions, and friendly service. Highly recommend coming here for a group gathering or holiday celebration. Will definitely be back!

Came for lunch after a walk at Botanic Gardens. Not that this place does not have AC at all but throughout the time we were there it was nice and breezy. Service is good as all the staff were friendly and helpful. There are designated areas for pets if you do bring your dog with you. We ordered the chicken and pork satay, guava salad, tapas, and slow roasted pork ribs. The food was generally good and enjoyable but felt the ribs were not soft enough. I enjoyed the beer sampler. In fact I think all the beers were good.

Great place for a meal with your pets. Although al fresco, the large fans make it very cool and comfortable. Satay, Pizza, and ham croquette are excellent. Pasta very normal. Shisamo better to be fried than baked, it felt under cook.

Came for a tea break on a quiet weekday afternoon. Nice variety of local brewed beer. Fruity and refreshing. Food and services are decent. The park view atmosphere is very relaxing. Pet friendly which is really nice. Will be back again with my team hopefully on the weekends to enjoy the vibe and try more beers and some other food.

Nestled in the scenic surroundings of Dempsey, Red Dot Brewhouse gave me one of the most delightful dining experiences — and surprisingly, it was all about the vegetarian food! Their perfectly cooked pasta, freshly baked Margherita pizza, and the signature Red Dot salad bursting with freshness truly won us over. The Papdi Chaat and Gobi Manchurian were simply outstanding, and the mango lassi was the perfect finishing touch. Red Dot isn’t just a destination for beer lovers — it’s also a place where vegetarians can indulge in thoughtfully prepared dishes served with genuine care and warmth. A special mention goes to Mr. Paul, whose hospitality made the experience even more memorable.

Amazing food and service as usual! Thanks to Eric and especially Ana for their wonderful service! Satay and Pork ribs were absolutely delicious and we were really touched by the birthday surprise 😊

Google
Beautiful and comfortable place to chill, date or have a gathering. Very conducive and waitstaff are friendly and attentive. Child friendly too. I love the design and the overall outlook of the place plus they have ample carpark just beneath. But… I big but… food is wasn’t tasty and didn’t meet expectations. Lacked depth in flavour and was below standard, for almost all dishes. The flavours and effort could be much improved. If food isn’t a concern and ambience is important, this place might be suitable for you. But don’t expect anything from the chef

Google
Food was good overall. No complaints, but little pricey and some could be better. Indian Chat - 3/5 Chicken Satay - 4/5 Pork Satay - 5/5 Veg Samosas - 3/5 The beer was fine and the Cocktail was great. But the atmosphere is perfect. Open air, high ceilings, water garden. This would be a great spot to stop by with some friends and have a few drinks during happy hour.

Yelp
A fun, relaxing spot to grab a beer and enjoy the scenery. We stopped here after lunch for a jug (i.e. pitcher) of beer and enjoyed sitting outside listening to frogs croaking and the wind blowing through the trees. The jug came in a bucket of ice water which was perfect in the heat. Each table has a QR code to order. I had trouble registering with a non-Singaporean phone number, but the main attendant helped us connect to wifi and place our order. Glad we stopped by!

Yelp
Stopped in last night with a group for some drinks and bites. From the outside, it looks to be nestled in a lush beautiful setting. Once you climb the steps to get in, it's a bit weird since it looks like Christmas exploded inside. I understand the holiday season decorating and festivities start early here, but this holiday decor was pretty tacky overall. We were seated immediately and the server took our order quickly. We ordered drinks and a bunch of shareable plates. The food started coming out before we had anything to drink. The service for the drinks was incredibly slow. It was a very long time in between ordering rounds and actually getting them. The food was tasty but the long wait times on drinks really killed the evening. If it wasn't such a hassle, we would have just gotten up and gone elsewhere. I'd skip this spot and try somewhere else next time.

Yelp
The beers were decent, cocktails were excellent, but the highlight of my experience here was Andrew the bartender. I sat at the bar and had a wonderful time chatting with him. He was friendly, very knowledgeable about beer and cocktails, and went out of his way to ensure I had a good experience. As a beer nerd and home brewer, it makes me happy when the staff know so much about their in house beer. I highly recommend sitting at the bar with Andrew if you enjoy good conversation, and I look forward to my next visit.

Yelp
Dempsey has an awesome vibe and Red Dot contributes nicely to it. They have large outdoor seating area (big fan) and great collection of locally brewed beers. Definitely try the green one: I normally would not go for colored or flavored beer - but this one tastes like your normal lager - and looks special. Food (mostly ang moh fare) is good and compliments the beer nicely. Friendly staff.

Yelp
This location is easier to access if you have a car or you take a cab but doable if you take public transportation like we did. We came for drinks and appetizer only as a pre game. Beers were cold and fries were hot. Ambience was great-we sat outdoors at the smoking section and it had a nice big fan blowing to keep us cool.

Yelp
Pretty Christmas decorations that welcome us on our way up the stairs. Even the chairs get dressed up with Santa hats! Great selection of Beer (try the Green Monster Beer!), Great Band, Great Ambience (but it can get a little loud at times when they raise the volume of the music). Great place to celebrate friend's birthday, you can order dessert and get the staff to personalize the plate with the word "Happy Birthday", you can also dedicate birthday song via the band.

Yelp
This is a review of a short stop at RedDot Brewhouse for a industry related event. i recently attended a work event here. There were about 20 of us, We took up two tables. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They were constantly there pouring beers and insuring orders were taken. I like the indoor/outdoor feel of the space. It is very airy. The place has a very relaxed mood. http://tinyurl.com/agh94vk The beer was decent but doesn't really rank with amazing micro-brews. I would certainly consider to RedDot again. I think it is a good spot for groups.

Yelp
It is ok. It is a microbrewery. The fun beer is the green monster which looks luminously green but tastes like a normal beer. I find the beers here just ok, noting to rave about. Never tried any food here before. The place is nice for a quiet chill with friends as it is big, great for groups, nice on a balmy evening when it is not too humid. And yeah, free parking too!

Yelp
A nice bar with an alfresco vibe. There was a live band playing really chilled out tunes which set a beautiful relaxed atmosphere under the stars. RedDot brews their own brand of beers, with a taste test available so do test out before you get it, as we were recommended a sweet beer with passion fruit notes, but after tasting I was thankful I didn't get stuck with it in the end. One unfortunate thing that happened, as we were sitting beneath the trees, some gross unidentifiable semi-liquid stuff fell on my friend which kind of dampened the experience there, but this is probably and hopefully an unfortunate isolated case.

Yelp
Went here for dinner early on a Saturday evening. Our party of 4 didn't have a reservation, but luckily we were able to get seated right away. The menu has a good variety of pub grub and pastas, with average prices for Dempsey Hill. I wanted to order a pizza but apparently it wasn't available. I think the waitress mentioned something about pizzas only being served later in the evening? Either way, I was peeved about that, so I ended up not ordering. My husband ordered a seafood pasta of sorts and it was alright, nothing to Yelp about. Our friend's date got the fish and chips, and it also looked decent. However, the service was good, as the place was packed but I don't remember any long waits. Also, they were nice enough to let us move to the smoking area on the patio after the staff dried everything off (I don't know why they weren't prepared for the daily rainstorms we have!) What I really enjoyed was the live music. The first act of the evening was pretty good, 2 guys doing an acoustic act, singing an alternative music set. However, I really liked the second act- a man and woman who just sang with a keyboard. They sounded amazing! Loved their focus on top 40 hits. Overall, not a place to go out of your way for, but good spot for casually hanging out with friends or starting the night out. Also, the only place I know where you can have green beer year round, as opposed to only on St. Paddy's day. :)

Yelp
Much like the bigger red dot we're all living on, how much you like Reddot Brewhouse really depends on what you're expecting and what you're looking for. Don't expect: amazing fancy complex beers, or excellent service, or delicious satisfying mains. The service in particular, can be absolutely atrocious on some days. Nope. Don't expect any of that. Instead, expect what you'd expect of a casual pub with a good band. Affordable, good (but not amazing) beer. Some interesting brews, and generally it all goes down easy. Great bar snacks and finger food. Their spicy wings pack a REAL KICK so don't go in cocky. The wedges and other snacks and eats are all perfectly decent. Nothing inedible, nothing gross. I found their Vongole HORRIBLE though, so I'd definitely give that a miss. Previous experiences have established that their other mains are also 'just decent', so generally I recommend eating dinner somewhere else first (and there are so, so many options in the Dempsey area so there's no excuse) and then going to chill out and have beers at Reddot after. The live bands they bring in are alright too. While not always the best singers in the place, they always work hard to engage the crowd, have little gameshow type things, (we won a free beer tower!), and generally really help up the fun factor. So like I said at the start. Don't go to Reddot looking to be disappointed. Go with low expectations, a high threshold for beer, and with friends you want to laugh with. That's the secret sauce.

Yelp
Not too bad. Unique beers, casual environment, good bar food menu. Live music was alright.

Yelp
Fantastic range of food (everything from posh food to burgers and pizza); and they brew their own beer, which is mostly delicious (and sometimes bright green). I ended up having a splendid meal, and enjoying their Summer Ale, which I'd heartily recommend. The place is situated in an old building, part inside, part outside, lovely and quiet, right next to the Botanical Gardens and beautifully pleasant. I'd heartily recommend this place to anyone wanting good food in a great atmosphere.

Yelp
Nothing special. Just a microbrewery that serves surprisingly mainstream tasting beer. It's a pretty decent place to hang out if you do not mind staff with mediocre service that know NOTHING about their beers. Can do a lot better.

Yelp
Good location, great selection of microbrew beers, very decent food for a brew house, good place to chill with friends, can get noisy but you are at a brew house after all.

Yelp
Ehhhh. Food was not great and not a lot of vegetarian options. The green beer is fun and light!

Yelp
We tucked in for one drink and enjoyed the flavor. The bartender was really friendly. The area is way too touristy for me and I don't think I'd like to eat here but it wasn't bad for grabbing a pint.

Yelp
I've been coming here for about 4 years, mainly for the beers and the outdoor setting. Staff are attentive and the beers are fine with a wide variety. But last Friday, 3 of us met there around 6:30pm. We sat outside near the water feature...I hadn't been back in about 6 months. I noticed how old and tired the place was looking. Nothing has changed outside in 3 years. If anything, service to the outdoor area has gone backwards since the closure of the outside serving station. Beers came in a good order from the inside bar, but the pizzas took an eternity from the kitchen. The Parma ham pizza was passable, but the meat lovers pizza was epically horrible...cardboard base with tomato sauce, topped with ground beef and BBQ sauce drizzled on top with unidentifiable cheese globbed here and there. A sicky sweet awful conglomeration...No pepperoni, no salami, no onions, no herbs...nothing. Avoid eating pizzas here at all costs. And please, spend some money on the outdoor area. Would have given just 1 star for the beers, but credit to staff that the toilets are clean and well serviced.

Yelp
I was there on 7th March with my colleagues for lunch. Ordered 3 sets of the 3-course set lunch, and was served by a really pleasant waitress at the start. Then it all went downhill from there. The food took a really long time to be served, and I had to wave frantically to get the attention of the waiters lackadisically fiddling with their phones or engaging in idle talk. When our dishes were served, the plates were covered IN A LAYER OF DUST. When I brought this to the attention of another waiter, his knee-jerk reaction before even looking at the plate was "oh this is the garnish". And when i told him very politely while wiping my finger on the plate that this wasn't garnishing, but DUST, he very aggressively & sarcastically told me, "you want to examine our other plates? I show you" before stomping off! We paid for our bill, and nobody got back to us until we approached the counter, and were then issued with ANOTHER bill all over again. When we were paying for the bill, the rude waiter didn't want to let us have a copy of the receipt either (probably because his name was on it). I didn't pursue the matter as by that time I just wanted to leave the place. Visited for lunch because it was near, never going back again. tl:dr - DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU LIKE EATING DUST!

Yelp
Stopped in to see their selection Light beers seem to be the theme in Singapore Nothing with a nite. Ended up trying their summer ale which was very crisp and balanced. I can drink this all day look forward to meeting the brewmaster to share ideas

Yelp
Good beer........the extra star is for the beer, otherwise my rating would be TWO stars. You can order a sampler set and taste the different beers before ordering a pint. I was surprised with the lime wheat, very tasty and refreshing. Food was edible and not memorable. A bit overpriced for what you were getting. Ordered the Baby Chili Squid, over cooked and basically eating crumbs of breading, did not eat. Also ordered fish and chips, chips were good and dusted with a lovely seasoning and fish was okay. Now for the service. Seated by the hostess who did not appear to like her job. She took our initial drink order and later our food order, 15 minutes later. The food was served in a timely manner. However, the service not so great. When I was in need malt vinager and condiments, I had to flag some one down and each attempt was ignored by wait staff. When I finally got the hostess' attention, I made my request, but again had to wait, in the mean time my food is becoming cold. She finally brought a sweet balsamic vinagerette dressing. When I commented on the balasmic vinagrette dress I was served, the hostess responded rudely, "You asked for vinager and this is what we have." After making a second request for vinager to a second waitress who promptly and apologetically brought me white wine vinager, which at this point I gave up asking. Who serves fish & chips and does NOT have malt vinager? Attempts at getting the wait staff attention is very difficult. Make sure you make all your requests before they leave your table. GOOD beer OKAY food - a bit overpriced HORRENDOUS service - so far the worst service
