The conditions of some of the rooms are just deplorable. I, unfortunately, was assigned to one of bad ones. I booked 4 nights and packed my bags after the first, and went to a better hotel. The mattress is in dire need of replacement, the bathroom had a very strong smell of bleach, almost to cover up the wet dog smell that overwhelmed the room the next day. The window lock is broken and the toilet literally shifts out of place when you use it. You can hear absolutely everything that happens outside of the room. This hotel is not following through on the refund policy they have advertised on Expedia and refused to provide a refund for the unused nights.
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. It's not like bad management is their fault.
