Redeemer Presbyterian Downtown Church

Come here if you want a pastor and a deacon who does not believe that God speaks to His people today. And a deacon would invalidate someone for hearing from God and argue against the gifts of the spirit. Come here if you went to Ivy League and are the same as everyone so you can be accepted. Come here if you point out someone who displays hurtful behaviors towards many congregants and they will just turn a blind eye. They also protect fruitless behaviors of leaders

Wonderful experience! Everyone made us feel so welcome and included. The worship was fantastic and the message was impactful. So glad we visited!

Friendly, vibrant and resourceful community. My family and I are fortunate to be a part. The teachings are relevant to both the written word and daily life. They have tons of resources and activities way beyond Sunday morning service. Sunday school is outstanding. The staff and clergy I truly enjoy what they do and it is evident even from a distance.

I really enjoyed the service. I left feeling empowered and revitalized. I will definitely return.

I started going to Redeemer Downtown july of 2024 with my sibblings and I enjoyed it. I've heard a lot about redeemer Downtown because a lot of my family goes to redeemer and wanted to find a church that I can both fully commit to but keeping in mind of God and Family

Redeemer downtown has been my church for 5 years and I love their intellectual commitment to the scriptures. We are really starting to focus on community which is something every NYer needs deeply. This is the first church I've been open about being gay and they have all been nothing but supportive and encouraging me to live for Christ.

Very nice church not as many times but two is still better than one. Nice and helpful volunteers. Classical or contemporary worship music depending on the times. I go to the morning service for Redeemer's and evening service for Hillsong. My two favourites although Times Square Church is great too. Love listening to their songs and sermons. Easy access because walking distance to bus stops and subway stations. Great to volunteer with the Salvation Army through Redeemer's to help prepare and serve food for the homeless. Amazing and fun work!
