10 Best Adventures in Maui: Hikes, Snorkeling & More | Condé Nast Traveler

"Whereas most Molokini Crater snorkel tours depart from Maalaea Harbor or farther up the coast, Redline departs from the marginally closer Kihei boat ramp, which means that with a 7 a.m. start time, you'll be among the first boats to arrive at the crater for the day. And before things start to get too hectic, the captain jets you off to the next locations along Maui's Forbidden Coast, the southern stretch of the island surrounding La Pérouse Bay. Over the course of the five-and-a-half hour tour, the crew drops you at a number of snorkel sites, including ancient lava flows and underwater grottos." - Todd Plummer

Google
I had an awesome time. Jake and Tony were great guides. Just enough nerdy facts combined with dad jokes. Tons of time in the water! Small boat is definitely the way to go to maximize the actual snorkeling and have an adventure. The five-hour is a great value and awesome for those who really love snorkeling and want to see multiple sites. I would definitely book again if back in Maui!

Google
We did the 5 hour tour and it was an awesome experience. Tony and Jake were great, kind and very knowledgeable (great music taste, Tool 👌🏾, and Chelsea is still a great Football team). Many beautiful things to see at the Molokini Crater and Turtle Town and more! It was a lucky day as we happen to meet with dolphins two times during our tour. Great way to discover Maui island

Google
Captain Nick and Laura were amazing! Captain shared so much information about the islands and wildlife that was so interesting. He took us to so many wonderful spots for snorkeling and Laura was super accommodating with our needs. The lunch was great too! Definitely sign up for this adventure! You’ll love it and it’s a great family activity 😃

My husband and I had a great time on our 5 hour snorkel tour. Our guide Sean was so knowledgeable and helpful. The food was great and we got to see so many amazing fish and turtles. For two people who aren’t the most comfortable swimming in the ocean, Sean and Nick made our trip easy and worry-free! The water was a bit chilly, but they offered wet suits to anyone who wanted another layer. I took them up on that offer and it helped me a lot! We loved every moment! Definitely a great way to spend a morning!

Google
We had an amazing snorkeling experience with Redline Rafting. The crew did a great job at providing a fun, safe, unique experience! We did their 5 hour tour and got to snorkel at 4 spots - Molokini crater, the back side of Molokini, and two beaches on land, one of which was a "cleaning station" for turtles where we got to see several green sea turtles up close. This tour was definitely our favorite experience of everything we did on our whole trip. We even got to see a whale smacking its tail at the end of our tour. Definitely a worthwhile experience. I'd also recommend the longer tour, as the turtle spot is only included in the 5 hr tour and was the best part of our whole experience! Thank you, Redline Rafting! We had a great time that we will remember for years to come.

Google
Absolutely amazing! Super fun trip and honestly the guides made it the most fun. Sean & Ali were kind, friendly, engaging and fun. They took a lot of care for my mom (calling her by name) because she was nervous. Really appreciate their genuine care. The boat ride was also really fun - glad we opted for the adventure experience versus the posh catamaran. This was so memorable and I know we’ll be talking about it for years to come!

Google
Took the 2-hour early bird tour leaving at 700am. Overall, it was a fun experience taking their smaller powered raft for a 15 min ride out to Molokini Crater to do some snorkeling and then back to the Kehei boat dock. Snorkeling was a good experience seeing quite a few colorful fish (black, yellow, green/blue) and saw one very slender trumpetfish (Nunu). Coral was also colorful as were the very large black sea urchins. One of the guys in charge suggested using a yellow float belt which made snorkeling easier as you didn't have to spend energy keeping afloat.

Isela Mendez

Google
I loved the music playlists! These guys have a great sense of humor, whilst keeping you safe. We appreciated the safety information, the snorkel refresher and overall chill vibes. We went at 7am and although no one likes to get up early, it was a really beautiful start to our day. Thank you so much!!

Yelp
My daughter and I did the 5 hour tour to Molokini (inside and backside), La Perouse Bay, a lava finger near there, and Turtle Town. The time flew by and you could spend as much time as you wanted at each spot. My fave was the backside of Molokini. No one else was there, the water was a deep blue, and you could get very close to the back. The boat had 14 people on our tour and the raft is the same kind Navy Seals use. Ride was pretty bumpy from Molokini to La Perouse Bay, but they give you plenty of warning. Our captains Dani and Jake told us a lot of interesting historical and geologic facts. The food (breakfast and lunch) was fresh and delicious. Plenty of dry storage under your seat. Boat did not feel crowded. Equipment was in good shape and the frequent defogging worked great. i would highly recommend this tour

Yelp
I'm from Maui and have been on many whale watches over the years. This is my second whale watch of this season. This one was by far my favorite one of all the whale watches I've been on. Captain Kahi and firstmate Jake are knowledgeable and friendly. They spotted whale activity that I couldn't see. Jokes are actually funny. They add to the good, fun experience. This morning, there was more whale breaches than I've ever seen on a tour, but that can't be planned or expected for every tour. We could even see some whales breaching in the far distance that we couldn't get to. Although, it seems that we got to the whale activity faster once it was spotted. The raft is smaller than other raft whale watches I've been on, and so it feels faster. The raft ride at fast speed is a fun experience with or without the whales! They play fun music while riding fast in "search mode." It's feels like a water ride at a theme park with some salt water splashes. My elderly mom loved it, but she's an adventurer and loves boat rides. I'd book again, even later in whale season, just to ride the raft. Scenery and photos of Maui's coast from open water was also nice. Parking was free and wasn't an issue for us, but we were early when the lot was mostly empty. It was filled when we left. There is a restroom at the dock. We booked the first tour of the day. Check in at 6:30am. Boarding at 6:45am. Left dock at 7:00am as the sun was rising. It wasn't hot. Weather was nice which cannot be planned. Ocean wasn't choppy yet. My preference would be to book at this time again.

Yelp
Dani and Alea were an amazing captain and crew. They were helpful, friendly, and educated us on a lot of history none of us on the boat had any clue about. My first time snorkeling and now I feel I've been spoiled, Molokini is the only way to go. We experienced a little bit of rain but IT DIDNT AFFECT THE VISIBILITY AT ALL. There was no loose sediment, and I was able to see a wide variety of marine life. We brought our own equipment, but they also provide everything, including a defog for your goggles (came in very handy).

Yelp
Dani and McKenna took our group out to Molokini this morning. They were great! Friendly, professional, concerned for our safety, and dedicated to making sure we had a great time. Snorkeling was so fun. We saw lots of beautiful fish. They provided nice gear and had very helpful tips for those new to the experience.

Yelp
I had a great experience with Redline Rafting! I love how our boat was relatively small so it wasn't a big group. They started off with cinnamon rolls and fruit which hit the spot before we headed into the water. The first and second stop were the front and back of molokini. Before we jumped off, they equipped us with our snorkeling gear and a floaty around my waste per my request. I know I'm not a strong swimmer, especially in the middle of the ocean! I'm not going to lie - I didn't see much of a difference except a few different fishes. There wasn't a whole lot to see, like some fish here and there but the water was extremely clear which made snorkeling way more enjoyable. They gave us a good amount of time to just explore on our own and welcomed us back on the boat when we were ready to take a break. Afterwards, we went to try and find dolphins but I guess it wasn't a good day so we headed towards my favorite part which was the sea turtles. This was part of the 4 hour tour and I'm so glad I did it because this was the most worth it. Talk about sea turtles galore! It was surreal swimming with some under and next to me. I also really got to see how gigantic they really were and it was just fun watching them either chill or swim around. We ended the day with sandwiches and chips as we head back to shore. The staff on the boat were very welcoming, hospitable, and funny! The are very knowledgable about the island and had a lot of fun facts to share.

Yelp
WOW!!!! We took the 7am whale watching trip and it was amazing. The whales put on a spectacular show. Our crew said it was the holy grail of whale tours. We saw several mama's and baby whales. We saw two breaching whales and we saw a few competition groups of males. Our captain, Kahi, was respectful of keeping a good distance from the whales but at one point the whales came close to us. Our naturalist, Makena, educated us on the whales' behavior. It was a thrilling and educational morning I highly recommend redline rafting. The boat is small enough to be nimble to get you to the whales.
google avatar

Kendra N.

Yelp
We had a great time! The crew was informative, helpful, and fun. We were able to snorkel in 4 different spots. Highly recommend the 5-hour trip.
google avatar

Alyssa C.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful experience. Could not have been happier with our guides, the condition of the raft, and the location taken to. Would jump on again in a second, completely worth the time and money!

Yelp
The redline rafting tours have the options of two-hour trip and five-hour trip. I took the later one, which was actually 4.5 hrs from launching to the water to docking back to deck. Get prepared to change before come, there is no room other the gross public restroom. I expected a better overall experience for $200 plus tip to be honest. The boating experience itself was fun, though very bumpy from time to time, sitting in the back if you have motion sickness, and enjoy front view if you're more comfortable with big waves. There are four stops for the longer tour. #1 Experience Molokini Crater like never before by being among the first boats in the morning to go snorkeling when the visibility often exceeds 180ft. There are so many colorful tropical fishes in the shallow clear water. #2 Explore the back wall of Molokini while snorkeling, a place that only a handful of visitors ever get to witness. It's a very advanced snookering spot, deep and big waves, not as many fishes, not recommend for beginners. #3 Enjoy snorkeling at La Perouse Bay and have a chance to spot the Hawaiian spinner dolphins that inhabit the bay. This spot is also known as lava coastline, quite a lot fishes here too, and I spot a gray spotted octopus, which just looks like a rock, very easily to miss it. #4 The tour ends with a thrilling chance to have a close and personal encounter with the protected Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle in the water. There are so many turtles swimming with people, just don't touch them, and there could be a huge fine. I lost count how many turtles I've seen just in half an hour stop, at least ten big and The tour starts with Maui cinnamon rolls and fruit cup for breakfast, and ends with sandwiches choices of ham, turkey and vegan, and soda and chips for lunch.

Yelp
We took the 2 hour Molokini snorkel tour and it was amazing!!! All girl crew was so informative and friendly! Definitely recommend if you're coming to Maui this is a must do activity. Thank yall for the amazing tour and wonderful
google avatar

Elaine D.

Yelp
The staff really made this snorkeling trip, the guys were really informative and knew a lot about the islands and spots we snorkeled around. Not to mention were hilarious. We got to swim turtles, see dolphins, and see some of the most beautiful reefs and fish. If you are looking for an awesome experience, I 100% recommend going with Redline Rafting!

Cindy F.

Yelp
This is a super fast speedboat, and we were one of the first boats to arrive! Snorkled the front and back wall of Molokini, and ended with the last stop in turtle town. I have never seen so many turtles, one even floated up really close to me! I was worried it was going to touch me with its fin since they are so friendly and curious. Also, I loved the smaller group, so we didn't feel like a big cattle operation bumping into people. Plenty of food like sandwiches, snackies and drinks onboard. Such a great tour with friendly, funny guides! Me and my 7 year old daughter felt safe with our guides and had such an amazing time. I will say that this is not my kiddo's first time snorkeling, but it was her first time hopping off the boat. If your kiddo is generally brave, it should be fine. It was one of the best snorkeling tours I've ever experienced, and this is coming from a former diver. Worth every penny, and super convenient if you are based out of the Wailea / Kihei area. By the way, there is no bathroom on board, so be sure to use the bathroom before you go or go like the fish do :)
google avatar

Tutti T.

Yelp
Da best whale watching trip on Maui from Kihei. Staff are so friendly and keeping everyone safe. Saw turtles and lots of whales. Took mostly videos, unable to post here. Pictures won't do justice. You just gotta experience it live.

Yelp
If you love snorkeling, swimming, exploring and some adrenaline adventures Redline Rafting 5 hour trip to Molokini and around Maui is the way to go! Just spent the morning out with the most awesome and friendly team of Tony and Ali, and we all had a great memorable adventure. With the remnants of a hurricane earlier in the week, we easily switched our tour day to a day later in the week when it seemed winds would be more mild. And they were. It was a beautiful morning out, but bare in mind, even if it's calm inland once you get out towards the crater it will be breezy, wavy, and if anyone in your gang is prone to motion sickness, they are going to get sick early in the trip but once you move in from the crater, and they crank up the speed, with the wind, excitement and drenching of water of everyone on the boat, most of that seasickness will subside. Also provided sodas and water, a light snack and sandwiches for lunch. Also good quality snorkeling gear and if you need wetsuits. The boat rides in between do get chilly in the wind and surf so may not be a bad idea for some to suit up. Again amazing trip, and would highly recommend to anyone young and old down for an adventure, but again not for the faint hearted as the race across the waves is a high energy experience and the deep water around the crater may be a little much for some less confident sea swimmers. Only downer is our daughter getting sick the day before so mom and daughter couldn't make the trip. They have a 48 hr cancellation rule which is understandable, but when asking to maybe get a discount on a future trip or so, the booking person said they cannot do such a thing. Maybe a little flexibility for such scenarios may help with customer relations and goodwill but other than that, the ones of us that got to go on the trip had a bunch of fun. Thanks guys!

Yelp
Had a great time snorkeling both sides of the crater and turtle town. The raft ride itself was thrilling and fast! We had a blast and our guides were so fun!
google avatar

Tree O.

Yelp
We had beautiful weather yesterday. The crew was great. We found a mom and baby right away, then a competition group, and an epic breach on our way into the ramp! Memories for life!
google avatar

Yelp
We had an awesome experience snorkeling Molokini today - all made possible by Hannah and Tony! Tony was cracking jokes for the entire 2 hours (to a tough crowd ngl) which really made the journey fun. Both of them are friendly, professional, salt of the earth people! They are accommodating and supportive, especially to snorkel newbies like myself!! They made our trek memorable and we are so appreciative!! P.S. If you have not been on a raft boat before, try to sit towards the back (behind captain). The speed and bumpiness in the front is no joke!!

Miguel A.

Yelp
captain Dani and Alli were so professional and balanced maximizing our experience with safety. they were knowledgeable and showed us an amazing time. Both were very good with names and made you feel like we were their only customer. The turtle town portion of the tour was exactly as they described it, I immediately saw multiple turtles being "cleaned" by the black fish. The winds and seas were up and so Captain Dani made adjustments based on the comfort of the patrons, as well maximising our sightseeing experience. The four of us highly recommend this 4 hour snorkling outing!

Kevin L.

Yelp
Excellent Whale Watching tour. The crew was outstanding and professional. We will definitely book again with this group!

Amy W.

Yelp
We took the 7am whale tour with Kahi and Jake ... was a great time with their knowledge and jokes . Quickly into the tour , they spotted a whale spouting and off we went to get closer so the entire boat could see. We were able to see a Mom, baby and a male hanging out with them. It was amazing . So glad we went and best part water was not choppy !
google avatar

Tahni H.

Yelp
Kahi and Zach were the best snorkel dive guides on the planet . Well worth the money and then some . If you're going to go on a tour , this is hands down the best team and service!
google avatar

Curtis G.

Yelp
Redline is a smaller raft type boat. It was perfect for maneuvering so we could get great angles for viewing and pictures. The crew were super nice and very informative. Whale watching was fantastic (February). We had so many whales breaching I didn't know where to film. We even had a little guy do a breach. Yes, these are my actual pictures, well, pictures of pictures from the back of my SLR camera that I haven't downloaded yet.

Terri D.

Yelp
The Molokini + South Maui Coast trip was amazing! Captain Dani and Ally were welcoming, knowledgeable, and FUN. We learned, laughed, and enjoyed everything from the warm cinnamon rolls to the perfect mooring locations for a wide variety of sea life. We will be back!
google avatar

Amanda S.

Yelp
Went on an early morning 5 hour snorkel trip with these guys (chase and another awesome crew member) We had an amazing time and they knew some cool spots. One of them told Dad jokes the entire time and we thought it was quite entertaining. Only reasons I wouldn't give a 5 star is: They don't have bathrooms at the pier OR on the ship (this is not their fault but it still sucks if you drive 50mins in the morning to get there then have to use a bathroom only to find out you must hold it for the next FIVE HOURS!) They don't allow BYOB- no booze allowed? (which is strange since every other snorkel trip we've done you can drink-obviously in moderation) All in all definitely worth the money!
google avatar

Alison W.

Yelp
Joined Redline for the two hour snorkeling tour to Molokini after another company cancelled on us at the last minute because they didn't have the minimum number of snorkelers. Honestly, it worked out for the best though, because this tour was awesome! We had the best guides and it was just a quick 15 minute ride to the crater. We were given lots of tips and felt super safe, even my husband, who isn't the strongest swimmer. We saw so many fish and the water was so clear. Definitely recommend if you've never been before. Easy and plentiful parking, and clear instructions on what to bring, etc. be sure to bring some cash for gratuity if you enjoyed your time. When trying to pick a snorkel tour, there were so many options and I wasn't sure how to differentiate, but definitely pick Redline. Awesome experience!

Wendy H.

Yelp
Experience the whales up close and personal! What an amazing morning and our guides Ari and Kihei ( sorry sp wrong I'm sure) were such a joy! Highly recommend

Carina H.

Yelp
Our snorkeling tour of Molokini Crater, La Perouse Bay, Ahihi-Kinau Reserve, and Turtle Town was THE highlight of my family's week in Maui (6/9/24). If your budget allows, definitely chose the 5 hour trip! As spectacular as the sites were, what made our snorkel tour outstanding was Redline and our awesome crew (forgive me guys, I was having so much fun I forgot your names). They're safe, had a lot of great information to share and they were excellent hosts. Their expert knowledge of the sites put us in all the best spots for viewing wildlife, such as an eagle ray and reef shark at Molokini, and experiencing the "Elevator" on the back side of the crater. Turtle Town was our over all favorite! The pace of the morning was great, we were able to snorkel as much as we wanted without feeling rushed. The group size is perfect too, just big enough to feel safe and get to know fellow snorkelers and the crew, but NOT one of those obnoxiously packed multi-level boats with waterslides and other non-necessary distractions. I'd jump at the chance to tour with Redline again! Mahalo!!

Yelp
We booked a reservation with Redline for a snorkeling trip to Molokini. We are glad that we not only booked the excursion, but that we chose Redline. The folks were incredibly warm and clearly committed to everyone having both an enjoyable, and safe experience. Our Captain expertly navigated the swells on the way to and from the crater. Once on scene, the clarity of the water was unbelievable, and the fish were everywhere. We found that if we were slow in our movements, many of the fish would come almost right up to us. We got incredibly close and saw such a variety of fish and even eels. We have snorkeled at many locations on Maui, including those highly recommended, but nothing came close to this trip. Even though my wife and I are not big group tour fans, we highly recommend booking this trip. The group was small enough it did not feel like a group tour; the staff were amazing; and the views under water, and even around the crater, were well worth it. I know the next time we come to Maui, we will certainly book this trip again and with Redline, and we will certainly highly recommend this to all our friends.

Sara S.

Yelp
We had a 5 hour snorkeling tour with Nick and Aly ! They were so personable , helpful , informative and funny! We had a blast ! Definitely Recommend this trip !!
google avatar

TJ J.

Yelp
Highly recommend the 5 hour snorkeling trip with Captain Tony and Makenna! We did 4 stops for awesome snorkeling! We spotted millions of sea fish along with sea turtles and sea stars too! We also watched whales breach while commuting between snorkel stops. The breakfast and lunch serve were both delicious and timely! The knowledge of the habit shared by the crew was awesome as well. They even got our 10 year old to snorkel even though he was scared. These guys really are true experts of the environment and this excursion was well worth the money. Highly recommend!

Lou B.

Yelp
Redline Rafting is the BEST for whale watching. I've taken other companies but their raft trips are the best!
google avatar

Lisa C.

Yelp
I prefer these small inflatable boats to the big tour boats for whale watching every year. You get closer to the whales. Departs from Kihei boat ramp. There were 15 people in the boat and a captain and a naturalist. Comfortable seating. 1 1/2 hours.
google avatar

Steven P.

Yelp
Everything ran on time, great crew, well skilled and knowledgeable. Modern equipped boat w twin Honda vtec outboards. Quick ride to molokini, in the water fast, great location. Highly recommended and tip the crew!
google avatar

Ben F.

Yelp
We took the snorkeling tour this morning, and I would 1000% recommend it! Kahi and Zach we're amazing tour guides! They were knowledgeable about everything, kept everyone safe and kept the party vibe going! It doesn't matter how much experience you have with snorkeling you will have an amazing time! I will definitely book with this company again the next time I come to Maui
google avatar

Dave G.

Yelp
I've taken a few snorkeling tours in the Hawaiian Islands, and I think these tour guides were the best. The boat was fast, the guides were professional, informative, and witty. Some of the other guides I felt treated the patrons like kids, where these treated us more like adults. We also didn't seem to have a bunch of whiny patrons so that helped. We went to Molokini and three other stops and they were all worth while. I would recommend this tour if you are a intermediate snorkeler, might be a little tougher for beginners, which really is just fine for us!
google avatar

Jessica H.

Yelp
These guys are so fun and kind! We had a great time and a couple whales came right up to our boat. Just be prepared to get wet- pretty hard to avoid sea spray.
google avatar

Danielle D.

Yelp
Kaika and Josh were great!! Loved how personal redline rafting was vs the bigger catamaran boats. I had a bit of an anxiety attack and Kaika helped talk me down and tell me how to control my breathing. 10/10 would recommend and book with them again in the future!
google avatar

Patrick L.

Yelp
Awesome experience again with Redline. This is easily my favorite excursion on Maui and you go out with a small group. Crew is great and nowhere else on the island compares to snorkeling Molokini.

Steve I.

Yelp
We went on the 2 hour snorkel tour to Molokini with Kahi and Sean. They were extremely helpful, informative and entertaining. We also saw a bunch of whales, spouts, tails and breaching. Unexpected bonus. Redline is professional and the boats are small enough to not feel like you are with a crowd. Highly recommended.
google avatar

Carole S.

Yelp
We went today and had an amazing time. Chase and Hannah were great tour guides and we were lucky to have great weather. We did the 5 hour tour and the lunch and breakfast were greatly appreciated and enjoyed. The boat was comfortable and they really do a great job of providing information and helping with equipment. We went with two kids and two adults. Kiddos were given wetsuits to keep warm and waist belts for flotation. Thanks to Redline for a great trip and experience!
google avatar

Linda L.

Yelp
Always THE BEST!! I love Redline Rafting!! Their customer service is very prompt and friendly. I went on their boat for their 2 hour Snorkel trip last Saturday and we had so much fun. The captain played fun music, and even did donuts for us when we asked. It's so quick to get over to Molokini because it leaves from Kihei boat ramp........ We saw lots of fish out at Molokini and even cruised around the backside to take a look ......Redline Rafting is always my go to boat when I have friends in town. Thanks for the FUN!!!!

Suzi B.

Yelp
We had such a great time on Capt'n Sean and Zach's boat this week! I am a scaredy cat when it comes to water and hadn't snorkeled in over 15 years. he helped fit my gear and walk me through how to have a great experience! had so much fun that I rented snorkel gear for the rest of my visit!

Mark M.

Yelp
Had a GREAT time on this whale watching trip! Given that my wife and I live in the SF Bay Area, Monterey is nearby, and we have been whale watching there many a time. That said, we had the SINGLE BEST WHALE-WATCHING EXPERIENCE EITHER OF US HAS EVER HAD with Redline in Kihei. Granted, we went in early January, which I understand is the best month to go in HI. We saw several whales breach fully out of the water, but the time of year dictates how many whales are in the area, as the majority of whales in this area migrate to Alaskan waters to feed in the summer, then return to HI in the winter to give birth & mate. Kaika(?) and Barry were both knowledgeable and entertaining along the way. Highly recommend! FYI- bathrooms are located at the dock but NOT ONBOARD THE BOAT- it's also a small boat but it was large enough so that it seemed very stable on the water- I personally really enjoyed it, as it was very fast & you really felt closer to the whales.
google avatar

Allyson M.

Yelp
Josh and Tim were amazing guides and took on a beautiful adventure on some amazing snorkeling sites. They're funny and fun and we highly recommend them!!! Overall an amazing experience.

Dorian S.

Yelp
Kahi and Makenna were awesome and hilarious. We saw so many whales.. swimming under our raft and coming up all around us. Such a great experience

Anthony T.

Yelp
Captain Tony and his first mate, Zack, were awesome--very knowledgeable on Maui's history and geography, and were really funny, friendly, and took great care of the passengers. We snorkeled at four locations and saw many fish and turtles. Redline rafting is a well run operation and a must-do when vacationing in Maui.
google avatar

Yelp
Simply the best. Great morning if snorkeling to Molokini and La Perouse Bay with Johnny and Kim. They handled a small group with wide ranging abilities and provided knowledge of the ecology and history of the places we visited. They are a small group outfit which you will appreciate during your trip. Our trip was filled with whales fish turtles and octopuses. I recommend the five hour trip. I couldn't recommend this company highly enough.

Jason S.

Yelp
We had such a great time today with Redline. We booked the 5-hour option. It included snorkeling at two locations around Molokini and two other spots. The water was a little murky near the shore so we didn't get to see turtles, but that was more than made up for by the multiple whale sightings. Josh and Chase were fantastic hosts. Thanks for the happy hour recommendation!

So much fun! Came here on 14 October 2021 with my husband and while I was a bit nervous I'm so happy I took the plunge. We started early at about 6:30 to check in and left the port around 7ish. We did the 5 hour tour with Tim and Zack. In addition to the 4 snorkeling sites we visited we also got a history lesson and boat tour of the south side from Lava rocks, Molokini and Kihei. Would recommend visiting.

My husband and I did the 5 hour snorkeling tour on the 4th of July with Tony and Jake. We had an absolute blast and couldn't recommend Redline Rafting more. Tony is absolutely hilarious and had us cracking up the entire time. The playlist on the boat was impeccable. This wasn't just a snorkeling tour... the guys were both very insightful and knowledgeable about everything. We will make sure all our friends and family visiting Maui know this is the company to snorkel with. 100000/10 experience. Thank you Tony and Jake!
