I had the brisket plate and my son had the special, meatloaf with mashed potatoes. Starting off with the brisket plate, the beans were amazing. They have a smoky flavor with chunks of sausage in it. The coleslaw tasted like dessert. The brisket was plentiful, tender, smoky and delicious. To top it off it came with a big slice of cornbread with honey butter. Incredible. Mashed potatoes and gravy taste like my mother used to make. We drove into Carson City from Southern California. If you’re driving in from anywhere, make sure you stop here to eat. It is so worth it. Plenty of food on the plate to share.
