Reds Residency - Homestay

It was really a great stay at reds residency. The host melissa is really good at her job . Had a very beautiful and satisfying experience at this place. Highly recommend... Rooms where very clean and tidy and everything is maintained really well. We also had breakfast from there it was also good with different varieties of dishes If you have to experience the real homely stay please go to reds residency.

Fantastic place to stay. Rooms are spacious with large beds and everything you need. The thing that makes this place amazing is the team who runs it. Communications were fast and clear, recommendations for things to do around Kochi were great, breakfast meals were delicious and beautiful (artwork!), and Mellisa’s bubbly, kind, and generous attitude was exceptional. If you’re wondering whether you should stay here, let me settle it: you should!

Melissa was the host who was welcoming and someone who doesn’t bother you unnecessarily. The house is beautiful and the room we got first was a little disappointing as it was right next to the road and was quiet noisy however when requested with an additional charge we got a much better room and we were very happy. There were tons of mosquitoes while there was a net we wished there was mosquito liquid machine so we are safe from their bites. Overall a nice experience at the stay except for the initial (which is the ground floor room being very tiny ) and mosquitos.

Had really bad experience with the property. I booked the stay 1 month before and paid advance as well. One day before staycation my booking got cancelled informing that someone else booked the same room which I ‘ve booked one month before. Even though got advance amt back they could have maintained basic courtesy in dealing with customers and business ethics.

My wife and I stayed here in September 2024. We opted for the most basic room. The room was clean, beds neat and tidy. Everything about this place was good. It's proximity to the prominent attractions such as beach and several restaurants makes it ideal choice for visitors. We had a lovely stay.

A beautiful place in a perfect location in Port Cochin Clean and tidy rooms and warm attitude. Melissa who owns the hostel is helps with everything and so nice, she really made us feel like home
