Reds Residency - Homestay: I had a truly wonderful experience staying at Reds Residency - Homestay in Fort Kochi. The rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean, and the overall ambience was excellent. From the very first day, Melissa was exceptional—she provided us with so much helpful information and made us feel right at home. She recommended a fantastic tuk-tuk driver named Johnson, who took us to all the must-see places around Fort Kochi. His service was outstanding and added so much value to our trip. Melissa also treated us to delicious homemade authentic Keralan breakfasts, which were a highlight of our mornings. She even went out of her way to book tickets for a Kathakali dance performance, which was an unforgettable experience. Outstanding Hospitality and Value at Reds Residency, Kochi: Our stay at Reds Residency in Kochi was made truly special thanks to the incredible hosts, Phillip and his daughter Mellisa. Their dedication to ensuring guests have a smooth and pleasant experience is truly remarkable. Phillip, the owner, was extremely accommodating and made our lives so much easier. He seems to have all the right contacts and was able to arrange anything we needed, handling all our requests efficiently. Mellisa was equally fantastic. She prepares a delicious and authentic Keralan breakfast that was a highlight of our mornings. Beyond the great food, her helpfulness was exceptional. She assisted us with booking activities and arranging taxis, simplifying our plans significantly. What really impressed us was her commitment; even after we had checked out, she went the extra mile, using her connections to help us secure tickets for the Periyar Tiger Reserve when we couldn't manage on our own. That level of service is rare and deeply appreciated. Both Phillip and Mellisa were always ready to help, proving to be incredibly reliable and trustworthy throughout our stay and even afterwards. The stay itself offered great value, being very affordable for the level of personal service provided. One practical tip: like many areas in Kochi, the street outside can be a bit noisy, especially early in the morning. Bringing earplugs is advisable for light sleepers to ensure comfort. Overall, Reds Residency offered a truly pleasant experience, largely due to the outstanding efforts of Phillip and Mellisa. If you're looking for affordable accommodation where the hosts genuinely care and go above and beyond to assist you, this is an excellent choice in Kochi. Highly recommended.

I can really recommend this place! We have been two times at Reds residency and always really loved our stay. The house has a very unique charme. The rooms are spacious and clean. We especially liked the cottage with the huge Balcony. Really outstanding has been the hospitality and kindness of Melissa. We received very nice recommendations for Cochi. She also helped us by planning our trip with bookings etc..She has been always very helpful. Also to mention her great breskfast she prepares every day with love. It has been definetly our best stay in India so far. We recommend! And thanks to Melissa for everything. Also I would like to mention that she found the tuk tuk driver i knew from my childhood 15 years ago. Im really thankful for her effort Svenja and Roman

Very pretty and clean homestay. With the most amazing and dynamic host, Melissa. She will anticipate your every need if you wish. Help you arrange sightseeing plans, cooking lessons or theatre. Breakfast are great. Good location for the Fort Cochin area which is such an interesting place. Plenty of things to do and see. Can't recommend this host enough.

The Place Is beautiful and near Fort Kochi. Rooms are very clean and confortable. The owner, Melissa, was very polite, nice and helpful with us. If we will visit Kochi again in the future we will stay at her Place again for sure! It was really worth it

I booked Reds Residency because of the glowing reviews and I wasn't disappointed! Even before I arrived, Melissa started taking excellent care of me by upgrading me as I was a solo traveller and staying for 4 nights. Solo travellers normally get smaller rather than bigger rooms, so this was very much appreciated. The room was spotless, spacious and cosy. It had a private bathroom, nice wooden furniture and a great mosquito net. Breakfast was amazing every day. I got to try lots of super tasty local dishes and there was always plenty of food! I'd also highly recommend the beautiful and relaxing backwaters tour Melissa arranges on non-motorised boats. As well as the Ayurvedic massages and tuktuk transport to Cherai beach and beyond! Melissa clearly loves what she does and her guests are very lucky to benefit from her care and attention. I hope to come back and stay again!

It was really a great stay at reds residency. The host melissa is really good at her job . Had a very beautiful and satisfying experience at this place. Highly recommend... Rooms where very clean and tidy and everything is maintained really well. We also had breakfast from there it was also good with different varieties of dishes If you have to experience the real homely stay please go to reds residency.

Fantastic place to stay. Rooms are spacious with large beds and everything you need. The thing that makes this place amazing is the team who runs it. Communications were fast and clear, recommendations for things to do around Kochi were great, breakfast meals were delicious and beautiful (artwork!), and Mellisa’s bubbly, kind, and generous attitude was exceptional. If you’re wondering whether you should stay here, let me settle it: you should!
