Refinery High End Coffee

Coffee is absolutely delicious! Had to have another one right away and even the decaf was delicious! Loved it so much that I bought it for home. Now I need a coffee maker 😅 Tried butter croissant and pan au chocolate and they were both the perfect combo with coffee. Sat at the high table for a few hours to get some work done. WiFi and sockets are available. Girls were super nice. Will definitely come back when I’m in the area.

Great coffee and pies. Quiche and spinach pie were pretty good. The place is quite small inside but has some outside seating too.

Used to love this place, it seemed to have a spark. However, seems like a lot has changed and not for the better. Food quality has gone down, and coffee was alright. Did the owner change or something?? Seems like all food was of lower quality, as if I was in a normal Bäckerei. We had the mozzarella sandwich which was dry and had 3 mozzarella slices, 3 tomato slices, 1 leaf of lettuce and touch of pesto on one side of the bun and that for 5.5€. You can get a better one from any basic Bäckerei around town. Also, they warmed it up too long so top of bun was burnt (forgot to take a pic...). Then we also shared a mozzarella quiche, which was average, flavour edible, parchment paper got stuck to the bottom so was somehow also difficult to cut it. They also transformed the top floor into an open kitchen which since they now serve brunches for over 10€, like around 15€ mark. Kitchen makes the place smell strongly. All in all - not a great experience. What happened to the High-End coffee?? For coffee I got the bonanza blend, also very average tasting coffee. I will not go back unfortunately, not for this quality reduction, especially not for those prices.

The coffee was great, tasted like heaven. Chocolate croissant was delicious, it was the only food i tried here tho. Stuff was very friendly, they were very patient when i tried to order in german and even laughed with me, they were very tolerant. Will definitely come back again with my next visit in Berlin.

Everything tastes amazing. The desserts are heavenly, and the coffee is great.

If there’s one place to get a pistachio croissant, it’s this bakery. Delicious coffee and pastries—I absolutely love grabbing something to go on my way to work.

Great coffee! Friendly staff, calm yet lively vibe, light woody aesthetic. Good wifi, there’s a shared high table for laptops (up to 6 people). The place is not really big, most of the inside tables are probably for up to 4 people. Have soy milk!(: Don’t have the brunch menu that appears on Google maps. Do have a nice variety of pastries (some vegan, not all)

Stopped here for a coffee before our visit to Boros. Excellent espresso, friendly staff, and convenient location near the metro.

We found this place with google explore button in maps. It is super cute, not so big, a new yorkish and amazing homemade coffee! Descubrimos este lugar por google maps. Es súper lindo, no muy grande, un cafecito neoyorkino con increíble café casero!

Good coffee and nice shop. There is a large selection of food, including vegan options although it is a shame that there is nothing gluten free on offer.

Go to refinery for the best berry Scones in Mitte! They are huge , fresh (not extremely dry like in so many other Cafés) and relatively inexpensive. I didn't try anything else but the sandwiches looked amazing though rather pricey. The coffee is pretty good too ,maybe a tad too sour for my taste. They use Bonanza beans. Prices are average for speciality coffee shops in Berlin (a flat white costs 3€). There isn't that much seating inside , so it isn't the best place to work/ study. But since it's located close to Friedrichstraße Station I'll definitely come back soon!

The coffee shoppe is so cute, little succulents inside and beautiful booths to sit in, nice little snacks, but the coffee itself is just boring! I ordered a chai latte and it was so bland, it was basically a cup of warm milk, no spice at all. They have free wifi though, so if you're looking for a pretty cafe to sit in and do work then it works.

This place is a hangout for techies using the free wifi but manages not be hipsterish. It simple in house food offerings are top notch and they serve wonderful fresh teas like peppermint (as in hot water poured over peppermint leaves) and lemon/ginger (hot water over fresh lemon and sliced ginger; add honey to really top it off). I'm told by those that drink coffee that this is good quality to. And funny story is, that I was meeting up with one ex-pat friend here and another ex-pat friend walked in and the two had never met. So I introduced two people from my home two who just happened to walk in to this little Cafe in Berlin.

Highly recommend this place. I had a pour over and it tasted like melted honey. They really care about coffee here and it shows. Even the baked goods are fantastic. The interior design is simple, beautiful and done well. Will come back everyday I'm here.

Amazing selection of deli basics! They offer stuff from goodies (vegan and gluten free). All around a fantastic atmosphere coupled with great food.

Wow--the beans were roasted to perfection, soy milk comes at no extra charge, and the atmosphere is great. Not to mention both of the baristas were extremely friendly and they had vegan scones that were out of this world. I work in the area and had passed this place several times but so glad I had extra time this morning to stop and hang out. Great atmosphere, beyond friendly staff, and coffee that was out of this world. Thank you for a great experience! I'll definitely be back
