We stayed here during a public holiday, so we expected to pay a premium rate — about $120 per night for powered site. However, the experience didn’t match the price. The site was extremely dusty, and it felt like we were staying in a construction zone. The ground was so hard that tent pegs wouldn’t go in at all.
The first time we called reception, they offered to pour water on the soil to soften it, but that didn’t help. The second time, two staff members came and helped screw the pegs in, which was very nice of them — but by then we had already lost about an hour just trying to set up our tent.
For what we paid, we expected better site maintenance and preparation. To reduce the dust, the park could regularly spray water around or even install some fake grass to help keep the area cleaner. The location itself is beautiful and convenient, but overall, the condition of the campsite didn’t justify the cost. Unfortunately, I don’t feel like returning to the same site again.
