We revisited Reflections after their renovation. Hotel Georgia holds a special place in our hearts as it’s where we got married, so everything about the hotel always brings a wave of warmth. We’ve always loved Reflections as well for its relaxed atmosphere, and thankfully, that casual charm still remains after the renovation. It's actually even more lovely! Bright and vibrant, and serene☺️. It feels like a peaceful retreat tucked away above the city’s rush. Staff are always friendly. The food's excellent, carefully plated, fresh, and tasty. If you’re looking for a short escape in the middle of busy downtown Vancouver, this place is the perfect spot.

We visited for Father’s Day brunch and were met with a thoughtful, relaxed experience. The Garden Terrace has recently undergone beautiful renovations. The refreshed space features a retractable glass roof and soft wooden finishes that bring the outdoors in, creating a garden like retreat in the heart of the city. We overheard that further refinements are in the works, shaped by feedback they've received from guests. The water feature beyond the window added a peaceful backdrop to the setting. The buffet brunch itself had a thoughtful selection of sushi and a raw bar, dim sum, salads, mezze, antipasti, fresh-pressed juices and smoothies, pastries, fruit, and desserts. Guests also selected a plated brunch entrée (we had the tofu with avocado toast and the dungeness crab benedict). Each dish felt intentional, fresh, and well presented. The service was quietly attentive. Staff moved through the room with ease and kindness, anticipating needs and keeping the flow seamless. Live music carried through the space just enough to soften the air. While leaving, there was a small issue with the elevator doors not closing, but the staff responded quickly and walked us out through an alternate elevator. Altogether, a memorable brunch. We look forward to coming back.

Visited the recently renovated garden terrace at the Hotel Georgia last evening. While we were excited to visit I have to share it wasn’t awesome. First just navigating to the terrace is challenging with one small elevator servicing everything from patrons to bell hops to kitchen staff. We finally made our way up to the fourth floor after a long wait. We were greeted and ushered into a very busy (almost chaotic) space. Our table was by the entrance and we were placed at a tiny table sandwiched closely within earshot of the neighbouring table. The server approached fairly quickly with water and took our drink order. This is where the good service starts to go downhill. We ordered truffle fries and lobster dumplings as appetizers and both were tasty. I ordered a glass of wine which never showed up and I needed to flag down another server to remind our server. Trust me there was a lot of flagging throughout our visit. I decided on the smash burger and my friend had the chicken pizza. The server made an odd comment by stating “that’s a lot of food” perhaps you’d like to share one of the dishes. Ya no we’re good. The food arrived quickly brought by another server and was delicious. Our server never returned to the table — after three attempts to flag him down he finally returned (40 minutes later) We were going to order another drink but we had lost interest and requested the bill. In order for a dining experience to be good you need a strong combination of food, atmosphere and service. Tonight the latter was lacking. Should you decide to venture to the Rosewood Georgia I’d choose the bar Prophecy on the lower level. Reflections isn’t even close to offering the experience they do.

Stunning atmosphere, gorgeous Venue and food was divine! My only thing was it was a little bit slow to order drinks during the meal, but it was a very busy time also and the restaurant was packed! Would happily go back 🥳

Extremely Disappointing Birthday Experience We came here for my friend’s birthday dinner with a reservation for 10 people, but only 6 of us ended up attending. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill. Because it was considered a “group booking,” we were told we had to order from a $100 per person set menu, and the regular menu wasn’t an option — something that was never clearly communicated at the time of booking. Despite speaking to multiple supervisors, no one was willing to make an exception or even offer us any flexibility, which already felt incredibly rigid given the circumstances. Then, to make matters worse, they insisted we still had to pay for all 10 people — meaning we were charged for four guests who weren’t even there.Insisting that they had reserved the seats and tables for us and they would be at business loss due to their policy. The most confusing part was our reserved seats and tables for the 4 people from our group were used to serve other reservations despite us paying for them. We reluctantly went ahead and ordered from the set menu, and ended up with 10 full portions of food on the table for only 6 people. We opted to have most of the food as to go as none of us had any appetite and the situation was extremely frustrating. The food itself was a huge letdown — the blackened chicken was dry and overcooked (borderline burnt), and most dishes arrived cold, likely because they were pre-prepared in bulk due to the set menu requirement. Overall, the food barely rated a 4/10. In the end, we had to split a $1000 bill for a dinner none of us enjoyed. My friend, who was just trying to celebrate her birthday, left in tears — upset that her guests had to pay so much for a frustrating, underwhelming experience. The only positives were the ambiance and our server, who was kind and did their best. But even that couldn’t make up for how inflexible and inconsiderate the management was. We won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place for any special occasion.

I came in for lunch with some coworkers for the first time since it was renovated, and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing, especially for myself being such a picky eater. We got a bunch to share, like the lobster dumplings 10/10, the truffle fries were super crispy and the pizza and chicken were equally so delicious!!! The price for the food was a bit high, but the quality of the items were spot on…very yummy!!

Google
I do love its atmosphere. And i ordered margarita pizza which tasted good but my friend ordered smocked chicken which she didn’t like it. The cocktails are so good too! I expected our server more nicer but she was not!

Yelp
New York vibe rooftop lounge is buzzing with patrons looking for innovative cocktails and share plates tapas style. Our party reserved an after work cocktail time slot on Open Table so seating was prompt. We found the prawn dumplings, fried chicken and truffle fries to be very tasty. Service was friendly but infrequent, seemed understaffed based on crowd size. Personally I found it to be quite noisy, the glass roof bounces the ambient music and voices, at times it was hard to hold a conversation. The setting is beautiful, an oasis you don't expect. We will be back.

Yelp
I went here many years ago for a friends birthday and loved the ambiance at night. This time I went with a friend during the mid-afternoon. There was hardly anyone there. The decor is beautiful and gives a French Riviera vibe. The drink menu was amazing - so many creative cocktails to choose from! It took us awhile to choose. The staff were all lovely. It's quite pricey but for a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, holiday) or if you have guests visiting, it's perfect. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Getting into holiday spirit at Reflections The Winter Terrace located at Rosewood Hotel Georgia! We had: espresso chocolate drops love actually cocktail merry pom pom zero proof spinach & lentils croquette lobster tacos seared black cod No lie, each dish was simply delicious! The staff was so attentive with us. As well, the manager came by to chat. It was a wonderful experience dining at Winter Terrace with the holiday decorations made it even more special.

Yelp
Came up here once after like every 3 times at hwaksworth. Was closed in September last time dropped by. Came around 3pm on week before new year. Lots of ppl. Sat at bar. Take a while for bartender to come get my order. Cocktails here are good but relatively more expensive like cad $25. Got 2 cocktails and giant prawns. All is good. Will be back like in 6 months. Atmosphere here is always nice.

Yelp
First. This is mainly (I think?) a late afternoon into late evening kinda' space. But, come weekends, they serve brunch and this is my rating for that meal. As we wrapped up our 4 day/3 night stay at Hotel Georgia, we took one last advantage of our breakfast credits and decided to brunch luxouriously at Reflections Terrace. Question. Is it really brunch if you eat at 9am? We all agree to call that breakfast, no? Also, it's weird the coffee there was 100% better than the coffe at 1927 (Hotel Georgia's lobby bar, which oddly also serves breakfast) but it's true and I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't sample my husband's brew. Why isn't the coffe the same in the entire hotel?! I opted for a lovely pot of steamy Breakfast tea, served in a fancy silver'like teapot. Because even though I start every regular day with a regular pot of primo coffee, a pot of primo tea in BC just seems...right. Anyway, I digress. Here's what went down. We went to the front desk to check out but asked if we could get a table for Br/unch/eakfast because "reservations recommended" and we hadn't made them. She called up and, sure enough they could fit us in. Because the joint was NOT jumpin'. I suspect it's due to weather because it was turning ominous after such a goregous weekend but, hey, I'll take it. As we walked in, I thought... "The space is actually visually STUNNING". I've stayed at this hotel a couple times before but, for whatever reason, missed it everytime. It's this cool inside/outside space with live trees, twinkle lights, various seating areas...all round cool vibe. Unless your room is 6-8 floors above it and on any given night, party animals are partying at 10pm (haha, I'm old. 10pm is LATE ya'll!). My +1 and I have much lighter appetite these days and decided to go sharesies. I ordered, I kid you not, LOBSTER BENEDICT. You guys. C'mon. LOBSTER BENEDICT? How often do you see that? I live through my stomach (of course! we're all Yelp'er here, right?) and saw it when I was researching menus befor our trip. I'd hoped it would still be on the menu and there it was. TBH, I was torn between that & Croque Madame because I don't see Ms Croque all that often in Seattle. But I asked the server and he said "UH. Lobster, evertytime". Yes, sir. I'm typically skeptical of hollandaise sauce because we all know places that take shortcuts and add a squeeze of lemon juice to mayo and call it "hollandaise". But I trusted the crew at Hotel Georgia and knew they weren't them. And they aren't. The sauce was delish and the amount of lobster was generous. My +1 ordered, and I also kid you not, at 9am, after a game day decision to ditch the French toast said...the "Trio Chocolate Mousse". Him saying it to our server was worth the smile on the server's face. And the person who brought us said mousse replying "I've always wanted to do that" was worth it. The bus person who looked like they were balancing a tray of coffee for the first time was charming. The service was great, the food was great and I'll tell you right now. Just go. At least for Br/unch/eakfast. And I hope you get the team that served us.

Yelp
couldn't believe that i missed this place from last so many years. Thanks to my partner in crime who always shortlist unique places to eat a delightful meal. Honestly this place is ideal for a romantic date or a corporate meal as well. Because it is terrace garden so the natural beauty of plants, skyline with big buildings standing tall and tinkling lights adds to already beautiful ambiance. Kitchen and bar is in the entrance but you barely notice them as tables are laid out all over the floor. As far as food and drinks are concerned, i would say marvellous. We don't drink alcohol so when we get non-alcoholic drink prepared so well , we know the cocktails would be amazing as well. Our salad was delightful. Just look at the dishes presentation so beautiful. The taste was amazing as well. The pasta was heavy on stomach because of the cream used in it but the fish dish was so light and fluffy at the same time creamy/buttery. Enjoyed every bite and every moment spent there due to beautiful music and people around. I also got another chance to visit this sweet place and I enjoyed again.

Yelp
The restaurant is a great place to help you get in to the festive spirit! It felt like I was in a hallmark movie lol. I went there for dinner with my sister on Friday at 6pm. We were warmly greeted by the staff and seated at one of the hight top tables. There was no option when making a reservation to pick what type of table we would like. The seatings are also timed - 1.5 hours for 2 people (feels like a you're on a conveyer belt). The food was really delicious, we got truffle fries to share, I got the short rib for my main, and we shared the sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was delicious! To drink I got the mistletoe mule, which looked very festive! our server was also lovely, although I did wish she'd check on us more often since the dinner was timed.

Yelp
Nothing about this place was good. We made reservations because the kids wanted to enjoy the Christmas decor and etc. upon arriving, the entry way was packed with waiting people. When we eventually got seated we were placed at a tiny cocktail table with stools. I typically prefer a chair with a back and asked if we could be seated at a table that had chairs with a back and the waitress literally said she would ask, left and never came back. Suddenly we had a new waitress. Just to get to the point; the food took forever to come. Forever. I ordered the truffle fries as an appy and asked for it to come before our mains. Of course, they bring it out with my entree, 45 mins after ordering. I ordered the beef short ribs as a main and a good 25% of the beef was gelatinous fat. Gross. My friend got the gnocchi and it was the plainest gnocchi she said she has ever had. And to top it off a party of over 50 people came and they essentially had us pushed in a corner with these people standing all around us, taking pictures; essentially, having their holiday work party. I had someone's butt directly to the right of my face for most of my meal. My Daughter didn't even end up eating there and we stopped at Wendy's on the way home. The service was terrible. The food was even worst. For the price, this is not worth it. I would never even consider going back here again.

Yelp
I'm torn between 2 and 3 stars, but because it's such a beautiful space, I went with 3 stars. Although the patio is lovely, especially on a warm day, I think the food and drink is overpriced for what it is and service could be better. Reflections is located in Rosewood Hotel Georgia, and you take a separate elevator to get there. There's only one elevator, though, and it seems to be also used as some sort of service elevator, so both times there was quite a long wait for it. Many years ago I came for brunch and it was not very busy. The food is definitely not the main attraction of our visit. I enjoyed the patio - they have fountains, shade, sunlight, and lots of greenery. The most recent time I came, I brought an out of town guest to have drinks before our dinner. It was decently busy on a Thursday, probably because it was just after work hours. The hostesses were very friendly. Once we were seated, as I was driving later, I got a non-alcoholic cocktail from the zero-proof cocktail list. For $14, the drink was fine but definitely not worth the price. I expected that anyway as I knew it was a pricier place where you pay for the ambiance. The issue I had was when I saw the bill, I noticed that I was charged a liquor tax on my portion of the bill (which only had my non-alcoholic drink). I confirmed with the waitress that my drink was non-alcoholic and asked why I was being charged a liquor tax. She brushed me off, saying it was the system that calculated everything. I asked again if non-alcoholic drinks usually get charged liquor tax even if they do not have any alcohol in them. She just repeated herself. Since I was in a rush and with two others, I decided to just let it go but was not really pleased with the interaction and lack of resolution. Ideally, she could have checked with a manager to verify or provide an explanation as to why a non-alcoholic drink gets taxed as liquor. But it felt like she just wanted to finish up with the bill and get going. If you are looking to have an average drink or meal outdoors on a beautiful patio, it might be worth a visit. If you are expecting amazing food or expect top-notch service, despite being in a hotel, I would not recommend Reflections.

Yelp
This has been on my to-eat list for the longest time and I finally went today with my girlfriend. First off it's in downtown, so you know parking is expensive, but I am a weirdo who doesn't mind paying for parking so I splurged $28 on valet (excluding gratuity) Yes, of course I tipped them! Lol! The restaurant is located on the 4th floor. It's indeed very beautiful and if it's a nice day in Vancouver, it can be very relaxing. I ordered one cocktail for myself and my friend and I shared the lobster tacos and paella. Both dishes were delicious! The tacos were favourable and yes, there were bits of lobster in it. The paella looked small, but it was very filling but there were only mussels and prawns in it. Although it was a tad salty but still pretty tasty! When we got the bill, I almost choked when I saw the price of my cocktail ($35!) Yes, I never paid attention to the prices but that was insanely expensive especially for a normal cocktail, no garnishes and frankly, it was just alright! Honestly, even the nicer hotels would not charge this much! Anyway, I am not sure if I would return, maybe I will but I will not order a cocktail (what a rip off! and that was before taxes too). For $40, I might as well get a meal at Jollibee for all that matters! Call me cheap! Lol! Service was alright, could be better. With all the amazing restaurants we have in Vancouver, I would not rush to try this place unless you're looking for a nice, spacious patio.

Yelp
This place is super pretty. It's definitely Instagram worthy and you feel like you're sitting in an enchanted garden even though you're in the middle of downtown Vancouver. I've been a few times, and I definitely plan on coming back. The truffle fries, salmon aburi, and shishito peppers are my fav food items. Tried the lobster tacos, and I feel the mushrooms are overpowering. Fried chicken is pretty good as is the veggie rigatoni. My go to drinks are either the Bellini or just a glass of Prosecco. Service is pretty good, but if you're planning on spending more than two hours there even if you're continuously spending money, be aware they may hint that you're going to get asked to leave. We weren't initially told that when we arrived around 2 pm last time we were there. We spent a couple hours leisurely having a few drinks, and then we ordered some food and more drinks. A few minutes after we ordered, we were told that since we ordered food we could stay, but that really we weren't supposed to be here for more than two hours. So that just felt awkward. I truly will never understand this policy when a group keeps spending money! We didn't see anyone waiting for a table, and there were multiple empty tables. And this place isn't cheap (seems to be the top complaint in online reviews!). In any case, overall it's a nice place to enjoy summer in Vancouver.

Yelp
I have to downgrade my review. Having moved away from Vancouver, I returned to visit a couple years later and meet a friend for dinner. The venue is still really pretty but on this night there was some rowdy party that probably should have had their run of the place because it kind of ruined the typical charm. On top of that, while my cocktail was good, it was like $30 and had the 0.0 fluid ounces of liquor that's typical in Vancouver restaurant drinks. And my entree looked complex and appetizing but the taste was ho-hum. If the total bill was $30 then I'd rave. But at $75 I'd say they've gone downhill and think people won't notice motivated hyperinflation.

Yelp
After entering Georgia Hotel, you take the elevator to the 4th floor to Reflection. Super Festive and warm upscale atmosphere. It's super packed, so I suggest you make a reservation in advance.... And if you're going to add a person on the fly... let them know in advance or it could completely ruin your plans. Everything is definitely on the pricier side of things, but you're really paying for the festive ambiance and Instagram worthy photos. The drinks are stunning and the festive atmosphere is contagious. Truffle fries are delicious! I would recommend Santa's Helper (delicious kick of coffee...a bit wasteful using s.Rémy though... but it was tasty) and Little Rummer Boy (if craving something hot and nicely spiced). The Ginger Bread Shot was interesting. Everything else was pretty standard ...Fun to take pictures of :) lol They do check your vaccine status here, but not much distancing, if that's a concern for you. Note: Festive Bubble - super fun to take pictures of but you can probably find it at a different bar for a cheaper price :P (according to my friend)

Yelp
Definitely a cute and aesthetic spot at the Hotel Georgia. You're on a terrace but there isn't really a view... but the surrounding space itself is very nice. Highly recommend making a reservation online! Be warned, it's definitely a pricey spot. The cauliflower bites were decent but overpriced IMO. The drinks are also quite expensive considering all the other bars in the surrounding area.

Yelp
This is one of the most sought-after places in Vancouver during the holiday season, so I made my reservation a few weeks in advance. I visited with one of my friends last week, and we had a fantastic time! ...once we were seated, that is. We entered the hotel from the Georgia St. entrance, and -- knowing Reflections was on the fourth floor -- got into the first elevator we came across. That ended up being the wrong elevator, but there wasn't any signage (or available staff) to help direct us to the right one. Thankfully, we came across another group who was headed to Reflections, so we followed them. Then, despite being on time for our 7:30 pm reservation, we had to wait 20 minutes before getting our seats. There were also several other groups waiting, so the small lobby became crowded very quickly. During that time, none of the hosts acknowledged us, even though we were in clear view of each other. I had to step forward and wave someone over just to get checked in. Fast forward another five minutes or so, and my friend and I are finally seated at the bar. Everything was holly jolly from there! We were at one corner, close to a fire bowl so it was nice and warm. The seats were very comfy too! Our food and drink orders were taken pretty quickly. There was a bit of a delay on the food, but compared to the wait to get inside the restaurant, I was fine with it. To drink, I got the "Scrooged Up" -- vodka, lemon, mandarin, winter spices, and chocolate egg white foam. I would definitely order it again! My friend got the Christmas gin + tonic, which she loved. We split some truffle fries and pizza and both were delicious! The pizza was executed well, but the fries were absolute perfection. Golden, crisp, and you got umami taste in every bite. They were so addictive! Overall, I enjoyed my time here. I hope service improves in the future though, especially given how much they charge. I understand they were busy and likely understaffed, but the lack of communication was pretty sad.

Yelp
I don't understand how people leave poor reviews for this location. If I could give a 10 out 5 stars, I would. We had the best time and I look forward to coming back here!!! The ambiance is out of this world. We were informed that Christmas time it's decorated to perfection and it makes it magical. The service was great! All our drinks, mules red wine and a cocktail were quite delicious. The charcuterie board had imported cheese and meats. The burgers with fries were exactly what you want it to be. The chicken wraps were crispy and mouth-watering. We loved the staff. They kept checking in on us and how fun was it to meet new people and make friends. We will be back!

Yelp
I work in the industry and don't usually leave bad ratings, but I felt compelled to for this restaurant/lounge. My friend and I arrived on time for our reservation, but the host told us our table wasn't ready for another 5 to 10 minutes. Great first impression. We politely accepted this and went to sit at the bar to have a drink while we waited. I think we waited about 20 minutes before they finally found a table, a high top right behind us. FYI, I saw the host cleaning that table, and my friend asked how long for our table, and she said we were 3rd in line (and we had a reso!!). I did not see her sit the other 2 ahead of us on that table. Weird. Food: We ordered an entree, I forgot what it was called, but it was either pork or beef. It was great, probably the best thing I had all night, but nothing special. Just a typical premium dish. However, we also ordered the $40 antipasto, which turned out to be extremely disappointing. The only meat on that plate was salami. Also, there were only 2 types of cheese-- Cheddar and mozzarella. There was 1 type of spread, grainy dijon that came straight out of a jar. I have had many charcuterie/antipasti before from other restaurants. I have also made antipasto/charcuterie before as a restaurant cook and caterer. I can confidently tell you that everything on that plate came straight from Costco. For $40, that antipasto was NOT worth it. Drinks: We had several drinks there. Started off with a glass of merlot, then one of the festive espresso martini, and then finished with the festive hot chocolate toddy. The drinks were average. Nothing spectacular imo. One thing that really upset me, though, is that the hot chocolate toddy was served to me in a Santa mug that had 2 cracks running 3/4 down the mug. I work in the industry, and I know this is not food safe at all. Any dish with the slightest crack harbors bacteria and should be disposed of immediately. I couldn't believe I was being served this $25 drink ($35 after tax and tip) in a cracked mug!!!!! Moreover, the drink itself was just bland. I've had better festive cocktails at Piva. Atmosphere: I found the ambiance to be mehhh. Music was loud pop Christmas songs that play at Cactus Club or the mall. The lights and decor were nice, but nothing mind-blowing. Server: Again, as someone who works in the industry (have worked as a server, host, cook), I got the feeling that the server was extremely stressed. She was pleasant but very short with us. I got the feeling she really didn't care at all, either. It was probably because it was very busy that night, and she had a lot on her plate. This being said, she was quite quick on refilling waters and getting food/drinks to our table. She was also quick on turning off the roof heater that was burning us. And also quick at getting our bills and payments. She was pleasant, but nothing spectacular. I have met better servers at Hawksworth and Notch8. Some positives: - Nice and warm for a rooftop patio in winter. - Washrooms clean. - Patrons did not look snobby or pretentious. Overall: I won't be coming back anytime soon. The food was average at best. The antipasto was absolutely horrendous. The drinks were also average, and the hot toddy should not have been served in a cracked mug. There is really no excuse for this, considering this establishment is purportedly fine-dining, and that mug must have passed through 2 people, at least. The service was average. Decor and music, overall atmosphere was average. The entire experience was below average overall. Considering how much we spent, I am extremely disappointed. This was my first time here, and I had high hopes. Before coming tonight, I made another reservation a few weeks away for 6 people, thinking this place would be amazing. I have just told them about my terrible experience and subsequently canceled that reservation. We will be going to Bacchus instead. Save yourself the trouble and money, go to Bacchus, Glowbal, or Hawskworth lounge instead. Or anywhere else, to be honest.

Yelp
Stopped by here for drinks around 5:30pm on a Friday and scored a couple of seats at the bar. Great place for after work or pre dinner drinks. Nice music and energy. Min was the bartender and very friendly and informative. The highlight was the Negroni which is made in a very unique fashion with an ice ball which is injected with Negroni and dissolves as you drink. Min described the process of making this and its labor intensive. They sell out sometimes so would recommend ordering. Negronis are not what I typically order but was glad I did as this one was innovative and tasty. Got me a nice buzz too haha!

Yelp
Stopped by for a weekend afternoon visit and had made a reservation (recommended). First visit in several years and they've made some changes. Gone are the flowing south beach style white flowing curtains. The kitchen and bar area are swapped from previous. As others mention, it's a pretty and tranquil space. The service was good - mostly new young staff who will no doubt improve with time and experience. Ordered a decent bottle - prices are a bit all over the map. In terms of markup, some premium, possibly less well known wines have a lower markup (considerable) than more common known and trendy offerings. Wasn't hungry so didn't eat although some complimentary bar nuts/snacks were offered. The prices are premium but not out of line for a luxury hotel in Vancouver. Unlike at least one other hotel patio, you don't have to be a hotel guest or pay a $100 entrance/cover fee to enjoy. The bar has a handful of seats and there is a decent cocktail list. It's very slightly awkward to get there - through the lobby, up some stairs and an elevator ride up a few stories. There's only one elevator and if stairs are an option it wasn't obvious. There are two washrooms/restrooms/toilets just outside. Even though the space was only about 3/4 full, there was always a lineup so plan accordingly! Also, should you attend this space with your young children, perhaps be mindful of what they're doing. There are water features, delicate decorations, lots of plants and servers with hot food and drinks around. Allowing your children to race through the space, knock things over and pick the flowers isn't great. They do a decent job at keeping the pigeons and gulls at bay but still be aware. Lot of fruit flies at this time so maybe put a coaster over your drink as fishing them out becomes tiresome.

Yelp
My friends and I came here to celebrate our graduation and it was an amazing experience! We booked a reservation for 3 a few days in advance and was seated right away. Our server was honestly the kindest I've ever met, perhaps we lucked out given the other reviews on service here - gonna count our blessings on that. The food arrived quickly and was decent - I'd say the dessert and paella were the best on the menu. You definitely pay for the atmosphere and vibes more than for the quality of the food but it's worth it if you're celebrating! Also, our water glasses were constantly being refilled so that was a plus, and they gave us dessert on the house! The only downside was nothing to do with service or the meal but rather, the lady at the front who was assigning us our table. She said "We can seat you at x location if you can leave within 1.5 hours". This was quite rude as our time spent on the terrace depends on how fast THEY can serve us our orders. And given some reviews, we were worried there would be a long wait. Also, on our reservation we were already told we'd be booked for 1.5 hours so it wasn't necessary to reiterate. Other than that, a great experience on a nice summer's day!

Yelp
The ambiance is great and definitely a popular place for get together, office parties and holiday festivities. They are pricy and the portions are average and not filling. The food is average, something you would get at Earls or Cactus Club. When we went there, their deep fryer was broken. They were extremely busy and the waiters were overwhelmed and could not keep up hence their service was mediocre. The drinks were also meh and not of the highest quality. We all got a drink, a pizza and two entrees to share with three people and we paid approx. $65 each. You are paying the extra $$ price for the location, it's situated in an upscale hotel, it's fame, and the ambiance. The extra $$ does not pay for better food or service though.

Yelp
Reflections Garden Terrace is an outdoor patio located at the Hotel Georgia. It isn't a rooftop bar, yet it's listed on almost every rooftop dining list for Vancouver. Guess what, they don't do rooftop dining in Vancouver, at least not what we Californians know as rooftop dining. If you've ever been to Perch in Los Angeles, the Rooftop Lounge in Laguna Beach, Hive & Honey in Irvine, or heck even the Press Lounge in New York City, you know a rooftop bar means you're on the roof of a building with views above it all. Reflections is on the 4th floor of the Hotel Georgia and while it is an outdoor patio, it is not what I'd consider a rooftop lounge. There are no views, folks! It does however have beautifully plated food and pricey drinks to match. We ordered some cocktails from the menu. I had the Watermelon Smash cocktail while my friends ordered the Ibiza Colada and the Pocket Full of Green. The drinks are pretty and most importantly refreshing. For food, I settled on the Southern Buttermilk Fried chicken while the others ordered the Grain Bowl and the Beef Tenderloin. I ordered a second drink and went with my standard Bourbon Old Fashioned. The Old Fashioned was just so-so. I've had better. The fried chicken dish was impressive! It came with a pile of boneless fried chicken on a platter. The Grain Bowl, while healthy, looked and tasted average. The Beef Tenderloin was definitely tender and tasty. We had a great time lounging and chatting in our lounge seats. We even saw someone order the Luminous bottle of Dom Perignon! The nice thing about being up North is that they make it incredibly easy to split checks. This place was probably the most expensive out of my entire vacation. While the house cocktails are good and presented well, they need to work on the classic cocktails.

Yelp
If you're coming here for a "rooftop" experience, you may want to modify that expectation to "terrace." The prices reflect the fact that it's on every rooftop list on the Internet. Drinks are $18-30. And that's why it's a one. Excellent service with delicious presentation up it to a two, but it certainly doesn't meet expectations. It's in a gorgeous hotel.

Yelp
One of the few "rooftop" spots in Van. Super chill in the summer on the weekends. You honestly can't really tell you're on a rooftop which is a bit disappointing. I've had most of the cocktails here, the most disappointing being the negroni. Had a waitress really hype up how the bartender who makes them rarely comes in and when he does he only makes x amount of them. My favourite is one that comes in a bird shaped glass, the name of it alludes me and it does not seem to be on the online menu. Unfortunately was not here when Lebron came recently but hey they've got to be doing something right

Yelp
Great ambiance, especially during Holiday Season. The food is good but quite pricey. Customer service is also excellent but serving time is a bit slow due to holiday time.

Yelp
Over-rated. If you want to pay $$$ for nice looking drinks and atmosphere, this is the place for you. The burger is the best tasting thing on the menu, and the fries are straight up from Costco so you know they're good Hard pass on this place. There are way too many better options in the city.

Yelp
Best Rooftop Patio on Vancouver! Love that this is outdoors. The drinks are good as is the food. Great after work spot or mid-day atop. Always a treat!

Yelp
Beautiful place to grab a drink and a small bite in summer and spring time. Cocktails are above average but not craft quality. Same for the food. Good food but doesn't justify the price tag. Pretty bad in the winter. They tried to patch it up with plastics everywhere and tried to make it look still pretty. It is not pretty with all that plastic and it is damn cold. They have heaters and blankies but not enough to keep you warm all night. Skip if it is cold outside.

Yelp
Absolutely zero quality food, left over packed in zip lock bags. Ambience was 5 star though. Best to order a water, take a pic and leave. Microwave food is better. I'm usually more than fair on my ratings but this place truly deserves zero stars

Yelp
Upon walking in, the service and servers were top notch. They were very kind and attentive, but not to the point where it was bothersome. They always made sure everything was going smoothly. The ambiance in terms of the setting, decor and interior design were aesthetically pleasing. However, the positives pretty much end there. The drinks were mediocre, and definitely nothing memorable. The beet salad was good, but the portion was a bit on the small side. The environment was empty, and we were surprised because the website said it was fully booked. Seemed super dry, but at least it's Covid friendly.

Yelp
LOVE IT!! Ambiance is elegant and peaceful. The waterfall is the icing on the cake as well! :) Service was great! Food was delicious! Drinks were lovely! It's a wonderful rooftop to visit for drinks, dining, and/or appetizers with friends or solo! :) Definitely will visit again!

Yelp
Reflections is a beautiful patio bar at Hotel Georgia. While the atmosphere and decorations were great, there was not much else to it. I went with a friend on a Wednesday evening at 7PM. The wait time then was 2 hours! Plus it's completely booked for the season and stopped taking reservations since October apparently. We were told it would be less busy later on at night. Went again at 9PM and sure enough the wait time simmered down to ~20 minutes. The kitchen closes around 9:45PM so maybe that's why it's more quiet. The whole place was very cheery and bright and filled with Christmas music. The drinks were very strong and did not taste great. Definitely not worth their price tag. The Christmas mule was super spicy, way beyond what a Moscow mule would taste like. The waitress was quite helpful with recommendations but I'm not sure if I trust her opinions anymore.. Didn't order food since it was late, and opted just for desserts. Again okay, but not worth the price. What I ordered basically resembled a bowl of Costco cream puffs. Of course it was better than Costco, but not enough to justify. I guess the price is for the experience. Probably will not go again though.

Yelp
Very nice location and the service was good. Had to wait 40 minutes for food to be served at brunch. Several tables had been waiting for an hour. When the food did come it was just ok, definitely not worth the wait or price. Pretty small portions and nothing you can't get for half the price close by. You really are paying for the location. Not planning on visiting again.

Yelp
Was there for lunch yesterday. Just three guys. Bill was over $300. Cheapest wine $80. The service was great, food so-so and way overpriced. The worst was the noise. This place must have the worst accoustics of any restaurant I have been too. Could not have any decent conversation.

Yelp
5 stars for the Amazing staff and Great food overall, the Hostess Larisa (Brazilian) and Tia our phenomenal server were super attentive and took great care of 8 dudes in a day time stag weekend lunch. I'd like to note all the staff were great EXCEPT the manager. The odd and quite ugly in personality female manger kept yelling at the staff and we could hear her being rude and unprofessional. Zero stars 0000000000000000******************* We felt bad for our server Tia as she took great care of us and we tipped well despite the managers distasteful behavior.

Yelp
This is a nice, upscale rooftop lounge. The drinks are pricey, but good. There are non alcoholic beverages as well. The interior is beautiful! The food is good and boads are presented in a rustic wooden style. Great for sharing. The wild mushroom flatbread is tasty and the jambon and chicken croquettes were amazing. The charcuterie board was enjoyable, but not worth the price. The service was ok. I would prefer great service over mediocrity. Especially when it is an upscale eatery. I would definitely come back to try other food items on the menu.

Yelp
Everyone raves about the location of this rooftop bar. I was so excited to go with friends and two of them were from out of town. I was so horrified by the experience of such bad service. We had an argumentative server who wouldn't admit they were wrong. We ordered two of the same beers. When it arrived we pointed out that they can't be the same as they were two different colours. Rather than just looking in to it with the bar, they insisted there was nothing wrong with the order. The service was really lacking in general for the rest of our time. Then, when we were leaving, the hostess at the front made eye contact with me, so I said good night. She looked away and pretended she didn't see me. How rude! I emailed management to share my experience and suggest the poor service could be due to poor training. The response was why don't you return and we will give you 20% off. No thanks! I don't want to waste my time for 20% off. Will not return here!

Yelp
Summer days calls for patio dining here in Vancouver. We organise a Sunday brunch with the girls after a night out and all were super excited to dine here as we have previously done dine out during winter. It was spectacular Weather and the patio was beautiful and the layout and vibe was great. We were sat at a low dining table, the table was lower than my knees when I was sitting on the couch comfortably. I'm not quite sure why I was sat here and told that the menu was served from these tables too because no one should be asked to bend over and eat their food at a different height and feel uncomfortable about it too. We asked to be moved and this was sorted for us. The brunch was delicious even though portion sizing was a bit off the quality of the food was divine. The chef came out to also check if our food was good which made a great touch. Disappointingly enough I would have rated this place a 4, but because the service from the beginning to the end (our bill was given and then no one followed up to bring a machine or take our money) was completely lost at service. The server also responded to my friend regarding whether she could swap out her tomatoes for something else and commented : "I asked for you in the kitchen and that's what they said" I thought it was very rude and condescending and just poor taste of service. I would go back for the food but the service was a let down for sure.

Yelp
Came to reflections to try the brunch menu on a Sunday. As others have mentioned, it's not much for a rooftop experience but there is still some open air Al fresco-ness to the venue. It's a little hard to find and even on the street level of Hotel Georgia there's limited signage to bring people in. Perhaps that's why on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon, the place was only about 20% full, but I feel the exclusivity is part of the appeal of Reflections. The place feels modern and loungey, while also reminding me of a country club bistro. It's secluded from most of the hustle and bustle of the downtown core yet it's so centrally situated. However, there's no real view to be had and you quickly realise that you're surrounded by hotel rooms and office buildings looking down at you which can be a little off-putting. First impressions for the relatively empty restaurant was that it might have had something to do with the overpriced menu. Most of their cocktails (2oz) were around $20 which is expensive even compared to far more upscale restaurants. At $24 they might also have the most expensive salmon eggs benny in town. The menu comes off as pretentious to me with the only choice of soup being a chilled watermelon gazpacho. Overall menu items are diverse albeit without a clear sense of direction which is probably a safe choice for the hotel restaurant crowd. We ordered the brioche french toast, west coast egg sandwich, and a side of fries. My girlfriend loved the French toast which was soft while having a crispy outer layer. I thought it was a little one dimensional and the portion is a bit too much for one person, it works better as a share plate. The west coast egg sandwich was excellent and had a lot of flavour while also tasting very fresh. It can be a little messy and a bit of a handful at times so be warned. The fries were completely forgettable, bland and underseasoned, and at $10 overpriced as well. All in all, reflections was a bit of a mixed bag. Service was friendly but not the most attentive. Venue was charming but with a few turn offs. Overall I had a decent brunch experience but I'm not sure I'd come back anytime soon.

Yelp
Awesome decor. Service was awesome. Ordered a sangria and it was pretty legit. Didn't order anything else since it was near closing time. Will need to try some of their appetizers next time I'm in the the area. Cheers :)!

Yelp
The tl;dr version is that the cocktails are marvelous and inspired. The food is mediocre at best. Service isn't stellar. I don't expect much of hotel restaurants, though the Rosewood is absolutely enchanting for overnight stays. That said, the front desk attendant recommended the garden terrace for the views so I made a lunch reservation. The terrace was packed with many people - several groups celebrating different occasions. I was situated at a high top table by the bar which was nice and allowed me to do some great people watching. I ordered the antioxidant (zero proof) mocktail, charred octopus, fungi pizza, brussel sprouts, truffle fries, and a lemon tart. The charred octopus was good but not great. The octopus was fairly small and oddly enough the char didn't create much flavor. The saviour of hat small plate was the roasted squash pairing which provided an interesting texture contrast and a lot of flavor. The brussel sprouts were also fairly good. Buttery, a bit browned and full of flavor. The brussel sprouts were probably my favorite dish. The truffle fries were typical bar far and not special in any way. They were sprinkled in odd places with some sort of cheese that melted and hardened long before it reached my table. They were crispy (good) but over fried and tasted a bit of grease (bad). Most baffling was the "pizza." Perhaps in BC this constitutes as good pizza, but I was thrown off by the multi-grain thick bread, lack of cheese, and overuse of oils. It didn't taste bad, pet se, but it wasn't what I was expecting at all when I ordered pizza. The lemon tart was good as well but not very tart. The drink was the real star of the show. Absolutely shocking amounts of flavor and beautiful presentation. I want to make the drink for myself at home so if anyone knows where to score some bee pollen let me know. All said and done - come for the drinks, vibes and the ambiance. Go somewhere else if you want a really thoughtful meal. Stay for overpriced bar food and very long wait times for your food.

Yelp
For what it is, it's nice. You get a pretty garden patio with cozy lights, comfortable seating and decent service. I can definitely appreciate the ambience and the environment as a big factor to coming here. However, I'm just unsure if I can justify the steep price and I know this is Hotel Georgia and it's home of Hawksworth Etc. I'm talking about $25 for my drink and I couldn't even sip anything out of it because the ice was so thick I notified the server and she had the bartender reshake the drink. I could sip it after...but it no longer tasted like alcohol whatsoever. Pretty cup though...The octopus was cooked nicely and was definitely a highlight of the meal. For the pizza, I think it could've been better for $25. It tasted way too close to Earl's pizza. Overall, I acknowledge that Reflections is a place you come to for the vibes and in that regard, the vibes were done well. Not sure if I'd come back again though.

Yelp
Awesome place to get holiday drinks or cocktails. Decorated festively. Perfect place also for romantic drinks. Fun upbeat music to prompt dancing fun mood. Beautiful drinks and excellent kind service. Arrived without reservation at 4pm for quick drink before dinner since we couldn't get reservations online and they seated at the bar right away. Bartender was helpful to choose the drinks we would like - little helper and the secret garden fizz. Yum and delicious! We also got truffles fries that shined truffles in the taste. Definitely will return.

Yelp
Nice restaurant or bar. Its surprising to see that they can turn an area to a wonderful atmosphere with waterfall and green space in the downtown city surrounded by tall buildings. Its definitely an amazing atmosphere. Food and drinks are a bit more pricy compared to other bars but they can charge it because of the décor and atmosphere. Food and appies were pretty good. We ordered the lamb, tuna poke, beef roll and fungi pizza. My fav is the fungi pizza, it had so much flavor to it. Or maybe it was very cheesy. Service was pretty good. She did bring me the wrong drink. Oh well. Also their alcoholic drinks are very strong. Seems like 3 shots of alcohol. But overall, I had a great time. I just really like the atmosphere and décor here. Only thing is the place isn't big.

Yelp
On the terrace of rosewood hotel where we were staying is this hidden beautiful gem serving awesome food and drinks. The place is equally beautiful morning through night
