Very enjoyable lunch with tasty Andean themed dishes. You can walk around the garden as you wait for the dishes to be prepared. Recommended.

Great spot in the middle of the sunny coastal river valley. An escape from busy Lima with excellent service, food and facilities. The place is an example of a sustainable approach to tourism and recreation with ingredients being sourced from their own garden, and local bird species being preserved.

Fabulous place to escape the noise of the city, lots of peace and quiet. The menu is very rich, vast and varied, freshness in every bite. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. Don Fernando and his staff are great and friendly hosts, and they will recommend places and places to visit to get the most out of your stay. The entire exterior invites you to stay longer to contemplate the majesty of the hills that protect and surround Lunahuana. I will surely return in my next opportunity. I recommend that for breakfast, you personally bring some fruit and things you like, accompany it with bread, since breakfast bread is fresh and abundant. I recommend traveling light to climb the stairs.

What a great place. Private parking, security, beautiful vistas, lots of trees and fruits. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the porter, who took our bags up the 50-some stairs to the property location (yes...you should let him help you!). The outer-patio is beautiful, with brick and stone-work, and views of the valley and river below. Walking through an arch, you enter the main grounds of the property, which has tables and sun-shades set up right next to the kitchen (although, they are building a brand-new one which I'm told should be done by December). Plenty of room for the kids to run around, fruit trees in abundance, and a pool for the family to splash around in. At night, they set campfires at two different places, and you can socialize and roast s'mores (you'll need to provide the ingredients). Rooms are specious, good bathrooms (hot water), and great beds (actually comfortable). They have dogs (especially friendly), cats, chickens, and geese on property, plus all the flower and fruit trees. It's amazing. This is an excellent establishment that has lots of history...just ask the owner, Fernando. He's a wealth of information, and is very easy to strike up a conversation with (in English or Spanish) . The cooks are wonderful, the food is great, and the rooms are cleaned daily. I would totally stay here again, and would certainly recommend this place to anyone wanting to re-connect with their spirit, their family, or just take in the fresh air and beautiful views.

We were already booked to stay at a different place, but came here for lunch. Oh My Goodness, it was great! Best food, beautiful garden area you can eat in, and the variety of trees, cactus, fruit trees, herbs, succulents, and more make for a beautiful setting to enjoy gourmet dishes (and delicious unique pisco sour variations). You won’t be disappointed.

We arrived at the end of the night from Lima. We were a group of friends with our children stoping for the night in our way to Nor Yauyos. The parking was spacious for all nine vehicles. The bags were carried by the parking boy all the way to the rooms. You would have to climb the stairs from the parking lot to the hotel similar to climbing to the 4th floor of a building. ||Fernando, the host and owner, was very charming and generous with his time and knowledge of the history and the plants he cultivates in the property. He invite me a shot of pisco and I had a wonderful dinner. We enjoyed a fireplace before bed time and our children were happy to run around the gardens. ||Next morning, breakfast is at 8:00am because the local bread arrives at that time. We had a very good night sleep and enjoyed our breakfast before departure. The mosquitos could be overwhelming before sunset. ||The shower of room A4 could have more pressure with the hot water but it is ok. The people that help around are happy to work there and they are just wonderful. I would return to enjoy the stay in this hotel. The food is great and the people are friendly and helpful.

We came with our twin toddlers to escape from the city. It was perfect. Our kids loved running around in the big garden and our room had a little alcove where we could put their cribs. The rooms were also separated from each other so no one could really hear our kids screaming or crying, when they did that. We could also go and enjoy an evening bonfire after our kids went to bed. It was really nice sharing with all the other visitors around the bonfire. We met some really nice people. ||||It was cold and we weren't completely prepared for that, so make sure you have a jacket and hat for nighttime. Also, we liked touring the garden with the owner, as my husband loves identifying fruits and vegetables he knows and seeing ones he doesn't know. Everyone was very tolerant of our children and the only downside was that there was only one high chair, so we should have brought another. ||||Also, all the food was excellent and yes, comparable to some of the highest level restaurants in Lima. I wish there was a little wider variety of smaller dishes and desserts, though for later in the evening, as there is nothing else close by. Maybe just come prepared with snacks. ||||The bed was comfortable with great linens, but the bathroom was not super nice, maybe needs a little sewage system rehaul to deal with a septic smell. Otherwise, we closed the door, and the rooms were cute and cozy. Kind of like a nice yet still rustic getaway.||||Overall a great weekend and a great retreat to unplug and spend some quality time with the kids.

Overall good value. Excellent dinner menu, and breakfast was quite nice with fresh-made bread, tasty coffee and juice. The garden is beautiful and a wonderful spot to read, stroll, relax. Power went out in the town while we were there so they cooked us dinner by candlelight and then made a little bonfire to sit by, was super pleasant and kind given the circumstance. I feel bad for not remembering the owner's name but he was extremely generous with his time to give us a tour of the garden and an amazing variety of plants he's cultivated there. There's a little trail for a small trek out back. Overall this place was great value for a short and relaxing visit, would definitely recommend.
