It is a great hostel with a kitchen and common area, was comfortable to sleep in, friendly vibe. The staff were very helpful and spoke English. Thank you!

A really lovely hostel and friendly staff. However when I visited, unfortunately there wasn't much of a vibe nor were many travellers in Fortaleza in general.

This will sound contradictory, however, I assure you this is utterly objective and I would recommend you take account of this information and decide accordingly. I would NOT stay here again, though objectively I feel I have to rate 4/5 minimum. The reason for my lack of recommendation would be the lack of any real sleep for 6 nights - which was equal to most in my particular room. I've been travelling on this trip for 40+ months and the mosquitos here were more intense than anywhere in that period. Some places just have an unfortunate tendency to attract mosquitos and the ones here are intense and brutal. The non AC room was also way too hot and they actually only added a 2nd fan on my 2nd night as everyone complained. The sleeping conditions were terrible in that 8 bed room. Truly awful. Aside from this the asthetic of the hostel is majestic and all staff are professional. The owner is German, and as such the standards are very good. It has an awesome feel all-round. The water, however, which was filtered is not good to drink (as stated by the staff also). I tasted it and it is polluted 100%. I also opted for a 10kg laundry and had half my stuff rejected for no logical reason after I had paid, which I am very unhappy about. They rejected my shoe soles....and a thin jungle bag, though they washed my hammock which is the exact same dimensions, weight and material. Clearly the laundry people were feeling too lazy to hang some extra items, in which case why advertise 10kg laundry? Quite Scammy in that respect. Overall, if you don't plan on sleeping, this is the place. I am an easy sleeper rarely awoken, and this place destroyed me. A mosquito paradise. Nonetheless is it good in virtually all other respects.

Stayed for a couple of days and everything was as it should be. Clean place. Staff members were helpful and most of them can speak English, which is helpful for those of us who haven't mastered the language yet. Kitchen facilities available, laundry can be done on site and there are enough bathrooms to please everyone. I would definitely stay again.

I had the pleasure of staying at both the hostel and the hotel owned by the same people across the road. Can't really fault either. Hotel room was clean, plumbing worked, TV, AC and quality breakfast. £25 a night can't complain.||The hostel is extremely well designed and organised. Private rooms and 4 bed dorms, kitchen, plenty of bathrooms, games, relaxation areas, hammocks ... the full works. Attentive bilingual staff, clean, relaxed, friendly. A bed in the mixed dorm was £6.50 ... bargain. Only slight issue I had was the bloody dogs next door barking which is endemic in South America but annoying nethertheless.

What a lovely hostel! It's super cute (as you can see in the photos), it has a great common area where it's easy to meet people, it's well located (but quiet), and the facilities are all excellent -- everything has been thought of!|It definitely deserves the amazing ratings it has and I wanna add to them, let me tell you!

Stayed at this hostel for a week and really liked it. Very clean, centric location (closed to Dragao do Mar), nice staff and simple but good breakfast. Not a party hostel. if you want to meet people and enjoy relaxation and tranquility this will be a good option for you. I loved it!
