Horrible service provided by this center. The other location I stayed at while doing the W Treck (that is also operated by the Torres is group) was significantly better(Frances). All services and products are significantly overpriced at this location. Service is horrible. Company put a hold for the taxes of my stay upon arrival(given I had lost a document provided at customs). They confirmed they would would release the hold when the document would be sent over to them(which I did within the 7 day window provided). Countless email and WhatsApp communications later, and they are still refusing to reverse the charge on my credit card. Note that the Frances location placed the same hold(given the missing document) but honoured their part of the agreement by reversing the charge when I sent over the document. Difficult to understand this level of service and poor ethics

Camped at the campground, but spent all of my time at the bar/restaurant area. Very friendly staff that wants to make sure you are having a great time. The drinks at the bar are delicious, large and well priced for being in the middle of a remote park. The area is kept warm at all times and you can stay in there as long as you want, given that you respect the quiet times. The restaurant looked good, but I did not have anything. People seemed to enjoy it based on the long lines. They have free coffee, tea, and hot water 24/7. We got our hot water to prep our meals there. The view is also insane as you can see the Torres at all times. Would just drive to spend time here tbh as it was very relaxing. You have to pay for WiFi, but if you go to Las Torres hotel 10 min away you get free wifi with a password: lastorres

This Hiking trip should be at the top of everyone’s ‘Bucket List’. Every view in Torres del Paine, Chile is truly amazing. Also - Everything and every member of staff in all of the Refugio’s are truly professional & so well organized and the hikers that you meet on the way are truly special and memorable.

Good quality hostel! Very friendly and good service. We had a few packs of yoghurt that could be stored in the kitchen, which we very appreciated. There was a vegan option for dinner (booked in advance), delicious and fresh food which is amazing regarding the remote location of the hostel. The rooms have comfortable beds, spacious lockers for each bed and a blanket + sleeping bag + pillow to use. Towels can be rented for 3.000. The walls of the rooms are thin so earplugs are adviced. The bathrooms are pretty clean, more than we expected. The view from our room was amazing: looking right at the towers. We had a very good stay of 2 nights here!

**Bring your own food**** Beautiful shared rooms with a cover and sleeping bag provided. Lounge area was very nice and the bathrooms too. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The only thing was the ridiculous the dinner reservations. The menu they had when we were there was Carne Al Jugo and it was not only missing all the vegetables but it was such a boring plate for $50. The menu included a cup of vegetable soup and a cup of dessert. Sad to have had high hopes of good Chilean food while visiting the Patagonia and was disappointed.

Perfect location. 1. They have 2 buildings. One is the main building, and the other is a bit to the north. They are exactly the same price, but the quality in the north building is worse. Smaller rooms, lower beds, smaller lockers, and most importantly, unfixed shower - and they do not inform you when you check in. Until you find the shower does not work and finally find an employee to report it, they ask you to shower in the main building. I am not mad at the facility in general because it is not fair to expect luxury in this environment, but I am feeling treated unfairly compared to the guests in the main building. If I get discounted service/facility, I deserve discounted price. 2. All the times mentioned on boards /posters is not correct. The staff seems to follow an internal schedule which is not clear, example: it clearly said the bar kitchen is open between 14:30 - 17:00, but in reality it's only between 15:30 - 16:00. You will hear "kitchen is closed" a lot. At Chileno the 10:00 -12:30 kitchen time is not existing. Check-in is supposed to be from 14:30 but they will often just send you away anywhere before 15:00. All these things make planning stuff out increadibly difficult and frustrating.

A rather large Refugio with lots of space to hangout indoors and out. Everything is extremely expensive and has to be booked in advance. When we arrived 5+ hours before they serve dinner and asked to book a vegetarian dinner they said they couldn't prepare one (they could prepare non vegetarian)! If you want to be guaranteed food you seem to have you book it way in advance. I stayed here 2 nights and the staff were on strike for one of those nights. Based on the facts they were sharing they are under appreciated / under paid and over worked. On the plus side showers are nice and hot. Dinner (when booked in advance) was very delicious - the best we had on the W trek. Staff are more friendly than some of the other Refugios in the park.

I found this place decent for a night stay in terms of being able to sleep in a comfy bed. However staff could do with a little bit of friendliness! that does not cost anything . I am not saying that they are rude but they miss the Latin warmth . Definitely work like machines .. Don't blame them for the amount of people they have to deal every day but they should make a bit of a better effort to be nice to Trekkers !
