Refugio Respomuso

An okay refugio. The food is (compared to other refugios we stayed) not very good but eatable. The entrance is smelly but the rooms are good (beds are a bit worn-out) but each dormatory has an own bathroom which is relatively luxurious.

Very nice refuge with friendly and helpful staff speaking English French and Spanish. The landscape and surrounding are incredible. No wifi, prepare 1 & 2€ coins if you want to make a call.

Kind and very helpful staff. Provided great insights into hiking routes and weather conditions. Great place to grab a draught beer also (3 euros)!

Fantastic walk from Sallent de Gállego. Loads of raspberries and waterfalls on the way. Beautiful view on the lake, good food and nice staff. Call in advance to book the food, otherwise it might be difficult to get something warm, as the place is pretty busy.

Nice easy walk up from salent de galego. The water level in the lake varies alot. Well kept refuge with very friendly staff...

The hut is situated on a beautiful artificial water reservoir, on the gr11 trail. The food is good and there is plenty of alcohol to choose from. The rooms are extremely cramped, with no place for personal items or the backpack. The facilities are dated, and require some much needed refurbishment. The dinner was quite basic, and a second helping is not included in the price (very unusual for mountain huts).

Este agosto pasé una noche allí, no era la primera vez que estaba, pero en esta ocasión me encontraba algo enferma y me trataron muy bien. David Abajo y su equipo son un personal muy profesional y amable. Además si te falta algo del material básico (porque se te ha deteriorado por el camino), allí puedes adquirirlo.
