We booked here for a long layover in Hong Kong where we didn't have enough time to go into the city, but still wanted a place to rest for half a day. It was very easy to go through immigration/security on the way out of the terminal and back in. It was also easy to walk over to the hotel and check in. After a few hours of sleep, we went to the breakfast buffet (lots of options), the gym (which was huge!) and the pool/sauna (indoor and outdoor pools). We were feeling very refreshed by the time of our next flight!

My stay in Hong Kong was super good, all thanks to Kent-san and Andy-san from Concierge! Their baggage service was excellent. They handled our many luggages very quickly and safely. Not only that, but they always gave us very kind and helpful advice. When we asked about directions or good local spots, they explained everything with a big smile. It was very easy to understand and made our trip so smooth and convenient. We are very, very satisfied. Their high-quality service is truly top class. Because of them, we could enjoy Hong Kong much more. Thank you so much! We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

Google
Had a really great stay at Regal Airport Hotel Hong Kong! Super convenient location right by the airport, and the room was comfy and clean. Big shoutout to Anson from the team — so friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Really made me feel welcome and well looked after. Thanks for the awesome service, Anson! Would definitely stay here again.

I was stranded in the airport for a night back in February and the airline gave me a voucher for this hotel to spend the night. I really liked the convenience of this hotel being just five minutes walk from the airport and accessing directly to a very bright and clean reception area, which gives good vibes from the second you enter. The excellent staff made it all very easy and quick, and the room was very fresh and spotless. The hotel itself is in a very quiet area, ensuring a good night rest. I strongly recommend this hotel for its staff, their excellent service, and its very convenient location.

Google
The hotel is within walking distance of the arrivals gate at Hong Kong Airport. Their staff were very helpful and allow us to have an early check-in to connect with our return flight back home to Australia. Great hotel great location and Vanessa and Chrystina were very helpful with all of our accommodation needs. highly recommended for Australian travellers and anyone with a short stopover at Hong Kong Airport very convenient and good price.

Google
I was only here for a few hours between flights. Easy to find and walk to from terminal 1 all under cover. I did not use any of the restaurants so cannot comment. Room was well furnished and comfortable. I realized i did not have an adaptor for HK outlets and picked up the phone to call to get an adaptor. The phone by the bed did not seem to work and had difficultly connecting. Once i did connect using the other phone they very promptly sent one to my room which was great. I had difficulty connecting to the WiFi - the app did not recognize my room number and i had been given a code and that did not work either. That was annoying.

Google
The front desk staff are excellent n efficient. My special thanks to Wing Hui. When I check in very late on 22/9 I noticed how he handled a difficult customer. The next morning I met him again n we started a brief conversation about last night issue. Mr Hui escorted me to take the airport shuttle to Regal Kowloon. I admire his loyalty n professionalism in his job. The only unhappy experience was when my husband tried to order at the egg station at breakfast on 23/9 the cook totally ignored him twice eventually he gave up his order.

Google
Had a 7am flight so stayed for the closeness to airport. Room was fantastic and the amenities (pool, gym) were also great. Very easy to get to tung Chung for outlet mall shopping. Also rode airport train to Tsing yi for dinner. Trip ends up being free if you return on the same day. Best part was that we checked in all our luggage at the airport the night before. Then in the morning we just woke up and took our hand carry items thru immigration and to our gate. Didn’t have to wake up as early. Perfect

Yelp
Just what we needed for 19 hours layover! We got a goodnight sleep. It clean, comfortable and I couldn't even hear the planes take off or land like some airport hotels we have stayed in. We got good night sleep and was able to go into the city for breakfast! Highly recommend this place for a long layover!

Yelp
This was our third stay at the Regal Airport Hotel, and it remains our top choice for long layovers at HKG. Its location is unbeatable--just a few minutes' walk from the arrival hall to the lobby for check-in. While the furniture is a bit dated, it's not an issue for us since we typically stay for just one night. The bed was comfortable, the shower had excellent pressure, and the Wi-Fi worked well. During this visit, our room rate included the breakfast buffet, and I particularly enjoyed the noodles with eggs and the street food-style rice noodles. Luggage storage after check-out was hassle-free. One thing to note: access to the lobby bathroom requires a generic key card. Overall, it's a convenient and reliable option for travelers.

Yelp
For a 5-star hotel, it is not exactly the most glam, BUT the location is convenient AF for travellers because it is the only hotel directly connected to the Hong Kong International Airport! At first glance upon arrival, it has an HSBC bank inside, and a Movenpick kioski for desserts and treats. We arrived at the airport 5am in the morning, and surprisingly we were able to check into the hotel AND got access to our room (instead of having to wait until the afternoon for the room to be ready). We were able to wheel our luggage to our room via airport luggage carts; you can return the carts downstairs. Our room was very spacious, with 2 queen beds, and lots of windows. The washroom was decent but dated. The only thing I dislike was the European open-styled, half curve of glass, where the water can splash out of the tub while you shower! Check out was extremely easy. You can just drop off the hotel key cards into a return box, no need to check out at the reception desk.

Yelp
Front desk staff are new and will perform most basic of check in/check out service. They will never address you by name, even if you are their local Regal Club so called members. Rooms are a bit dated and the carpeted corridors can feel a bit claustrophobic. Sound proofing is good in the rooms. Drinking water is now provided by a water dispenser on each floor in the hallway. Washing machines and dryers located on the 3rd floor in fitness center. Free powdered detergent available. $30 HKD to wash and $30 HKD to dry. Exchange $10 HKD coins from front desk. Wash laundry about 30 min cycle. Dryer takes about 45 minutes. Get a gym workout while waiting for your laundry to finish.

Yelp
Hotel is inside the Airport- It's a 1970 style hotel in desperate need of a remodel - First room smelled like mold,I couldn't stay in it. Went to get a different / second room exactly the same thing. None of the windows open. Downstairs of the American bar, hamburger for $37 Nachos $25 I opted for the $30 pizza... Average Service was friendly enough, but even they conceded that it's overpriced... Just another airport hotel Flea-sing the tourist Take a six minute taxi ride over to the Sheraton and save yourself the grief. I would not stay here again ....
google avatar

Ryong C.

Yelp
The hotel inside the Hong Kong airport is very peaceful if you need to catch an early flight the next day. However, it is more expensive for booking, so you can choose to find a Chinese app to book this hotel. If you got coivd you'll be changer $1000HKD, around 127 USD.

Yelp
Regal's breakfast buffet was not great. Food tasted plain. Price ok. Service not impressive. Why? When I am still eating, one of the lead server already asking me to pay for the meal. I asking her would this be paying after finish my meal. She say" I am about to step away. So I want to take care the bill first" that is no problem with me. So I did pay for the bill. You know what, she still here the whole time never leave. I really don't appreciate her by liar to me and the feel to a customer dine in. So rude and disrespectful! Not coming again..

Yelp
Basic hotel perfectly aimed for the traveler. Clean, Hard bed, amenities like toothbrush, coffee. Only hotel in HK directly connected to airport without shuttle needs. Thus the costly price... anything in HK ain't cheap. Places in terminal 2 departure wing that's directly adjacent to the airport.

Yelp
This is the second of the three hotels that my parents and I have stayed at. We stayed here for a total of three nights. This hotel is located adjacent to the airport. Therefore it is the closest hotel. And a lot of people choose to stay at this hotel. The room that we stayed at was pretty big with two king beds. There is also a power supply where you can plug in and recharge your phone or device (iPad, etc.). The only downside is that the closet door is very tough to open. I would stay here again in the future, especially if I have a brief stop here in HK.

Yelp
Pro 1. Close to airport Con 1. Hotel hallway is stick due to moist, need to have air conditioner on at all time to avoid mold grow due to humidity. 2. Hotel doesn't offer coin machine for laundry used. I walked to front desk to ask for $10 coin to be exchange for laundry, then go to Spa to ask for $10 coin exchange. And cafe hasn't open yet. Front desk asked me to go back to airport for $10 coin exchange. Even airport is close, it take a about 2-3 min walk. I stayed in many hotels in different countries. As a hotel service industry, the hotel should have coin machine or either have it ready at front desk, or train the staff to offer service to customers to get the coin exchange. Service in this hotel is limited.

Yelp
I stayed at Regal Airport Hotel for 5 hours due to a delayed flight. This hotel was located literarily right outside of the airport. I checked in around 2 AM so everything was closed. There had no sign for the reception desk. I had to walk around and look for it. The room overall was clean but looked a little dusty. Maybe they just needed an upgrade. TV remote was hard to use. I also had the breakfast buffet. The coffee machine was pretty nice and latte came out great! The food was average.

Yelp
This is supposed to be a five star hotel. The lobby is okay and the staff are okay. When I got to the room, I then see that this is not a five star experience. The bathroom was the noticeable one. There are hardly any amenities. The dispenser for the shower gel is broken, so good thing I got my own shower wash. The drain in the tub is also broken, so I had to pull out the drain cover since the lever is not opening the cover. The most obvious problem with the tub is the glass that only covers half the tub. The back half of the tub is open so water will splash out onto the floor. The night stand next to the bed is dirty. Part of the bedsheet also has stations. Overall this hotel provides convenience for travelers who want to be next to the airport.

Yelp
* price: $100-200 per night on avg. Compatible to other hotels in the area. 3 star. * accommodation: in-door and out-door pools, restaurants, spa, gym, free WiFi. 4 +star. * location: very convenient for layover stop since it is connected to the HK airport terminal 2. 4+ star. * motif: nice and modern room, clean, spacious. 4 star. * services: everyone is polite and pleasant. 4 star. This is averaged to 4 star for me! Stayed here during my layovers in HK to Nepal and back. I had looked up other places in the area but decided to stay here for the location and their availability for dayuse (9 AM to 9 PM). Booked it through TripAdvisor and then via their website. I got the superior room the first time and then suite on the return. Each time, it costs about $160 USD. The checkin and out was fast since my flight arrived early in the morning. The staff is very polite and pleasant. My room was not ready right away so I waited. The receptionist then brought the roomkey to me. The superior room is spacious with kingbed, nice bathroom with soaps, shampoo, toothbruah and toothpaste in case you forgot to pack with you. Ther is Keriq coffee maker, 2 free water bottles, cable TV, free WiFi (which works pretty fast). The suite is beautiful with nice living room, jacuzzi tub, standing shower... I did not go to their gym or spa nor dine at the restaurants but did get room service which was fresh and tasty. Overall, it was one of my best layover hand down! Why not five star... Well, like some other reviewers mentioned, there is not much going on besides the airport! Probably not a place to stay for a trip... But a great place to stay for a layover!

Mrs Y.

Yelp
Good : Room is a little bigger than others but the cost is also higher. Bad : 1) Each person only gets a total of 10-15 small bottles (430 ml) of water for 7 days. This is barely enough for about 4 days. Then, they will charge HK$5.50 for each additional bottle. The hotel room charge is quite high and they should give us enough water for 7 days. 2) Food is bad and cold. 3) Amenities can be better. 4) Noisy.

Yelp
It's the only hotel in the airport so you pay a premium, but next time I will stay one stop away on the metro which is more convenient for taking the cable car. Cons: - There is a weird smell but I can't tell what it is. - Long line for check in. - I couldn't figure out how to turn off the lights. There is a master control that doesn't work. And the light switch for the over-window lighting is located on the other side of the room over the nightstand!? - In person, the wallpaper and carpet look very dirty. Not sure if this is poor choice in design or actually dirty. - No complimentary slippers in the designated tray for aforementioned dirty carpet.

Yelp
Stayed here for 3 nites before moving on to Thailand. We chose this hotel because of the location, being located on airport property made it a convenient stop after a 15-hour flight from San Francisco. Plus we had an early morning flight out of Hong Kong, so this was the best option for those reasons. However, if your plan is sightseeing, then it's hard to imagine a more poor choice than here. There is literally nothing here but the airport. The Big Buddha statue is also located in this island, but is 30 minutes by taxi and taxis aren't always available. There are train and bus options though. Basically any other attractions like Victoria Peak or the Hong Kong 100 are all $50 round-trip taxi rides. Again, there are train bus options, but then expect about 4-hour round-trip. The room itself was dirty, furniture dirty, and had the most awful cigarette smell. It was so bad, I had a light headache the entire 3 days we stayed. View from the room was great - a combination of airport, Hills, and ocean view. Unfortunately it was cloudy, rainy, and had terrible air quality during our stay, which negated the view. Room service was pretty tasty - the American and Japanese breakfast were quite good. About $40 for 2 people. Lunch and dinner options were less appealing, but decent. I liked the modern interactive TV where u could view your bill, check flight info, etc. The concierge service is 24 hours and very convenient to have them handle ur bags. Housekeeping was also very good, friendly and understanding about cleaning our room later in the afternoon for us. We paid about $265 a nite for the King bed with the aforementioned view. The rate is way way too high for what u get in return. However, it's a convenient pre or post-international flight option.

Yelp
The convenience of this place is fantastic if you have a long layover after a day of traveling. My wife and I had a couple of flights followed by an overnight in Hong Kong before we flew on to the US the next day. Being able to walk right over to the hotel from the terminal was a huge relief since we were tired and gross and just wanted to shower and fall asleep. HK isn't cheap but we got a surprisingly good deal by booking a room far in advance. We even got a free upgrade to a suite because they were running an online special. The room itself was clean but a little worn out around the edges and the shower did not drain well. Dining options in the hotel are expensive and most of them close by 10 PM, but it's easy enough to walk back to the airport terminal where there are some more reasonably priced options.

Yelp
I've stayed here twice. Pros: 1. Only on-site hotel at HKG. Very convenient. The next closest hotel is a Marriott but you'd need a taxi. 2. Since HKG is a major hub for layovers, this hotel gives you more options for choosing flights. You can pick flights that don't leave until the next morning, or if you had a long same-day layover, you could get a room and have the ability to get a quiet nap for a few hours. 3. With the stricter rules, only people with a boarding pass can enter the airport from the street. The line from the main door (where the taxis drop off) was very long, but walking from the hotel, there was no wait to get past the checkpoint. Cons: 1. Nothing stands out to make this an exceptional hotel or experience aside from the convenience noted above. The room is satisfactory/average. 2. It was more difficult getting a taxi to leave the hotel than I expected. We waited a long time (10-15 mins) and even though we asked someone for help (and noting that they were extremely friendly which was nice) it seems that all they did was walk to the street and wait for the next taxi to drive by and wave at them to come in (vs. calling some dispatch).

Yelp
Convenience is the biggest factor- this is located within walking distance from the airport and you can even roll your luggage cart from the baggage area all the way into the hotel. The check-in lines are notoriously long and annoying, even though staff try their best to hurry up.They should do something about that.
google avatar

Yelp
I've stayed here a few times. I can see where there can be some negative reviews, all based on your needs. Pros: - Awesome location. Just a quick walk inside to terminal 1. - Service has always been good. - Rooms have been comfortable. - Excellent pool and fitness facilities. Cons: - Rates change and it can be expensive if you are just needing a bed to get some rest before your next flight. - Hallway noise can be heard in the rooms. Ask for a room away from elevators. - Food and drinks in hotel can be expensive, like other parts of Hong Kong. I booked online and was only able to get a Executive Club room. I got a discount as being part of their loyalty program. It turned out to be worth the extra cost. I arrived at the hotel early (around 10:30 AM) and was wondering what I would do until check in. I was informed that I had access to the Executive Club lounge and I could head up there after dropping my bags off for storage. I went up to the lounge and hadn't even finished my breakfast and I was given a key to my room and was told my bags would be delivered in the next 15 minutes. Excellent service which I was not expecting. I had time to check out the other amenities at the hotel. The indoor/outdoor pool was very relaxing ans clean. There are plenty pf other places to relax. A very good choice, especially if you have some time to kill.

Yelp
Really really convenient for longer layovers. Literally connected to the airport terminal via a short walkway next to the Pret a Manger near the exit. It was pretty expensive when I booked but I needed the convenience as I'd been travelling for a long time beforehand and had a long flight after my stay. Everything was clean and in order. The bed was absolutely huge. Water pressure was good in the shower. I had a good stock of tea and coffee in the room and got to have a quick swim in the indoor pool before checking out for my flight. I didn't have breakfast so can't really comment. Wifi connection was fast and strong in my room. No noise from the airport that was bad enough to make worth mentioning. Quick and easy to get into central via the express train. Had a few hours to kill and found the hotel to be a great base. Was able to store my luggage without questions asked both before check-in and after check-out. Took off a star because the price was a little ridiculous. I'll book further ahead next time.

Yelp
I went around Southeast Asia and Hong Kong was my base or where I first started. The location is perfect! I mean if you're only going to be there for a day or two. It is more for transit travelers. It was easy to find and the only hotel that is walking distance to the airport. The hotel is really big with several food options. I was really hungry when I first arrived so I ate at thier restaurant and spent almost usd $60 which was quite pricey. The room was big and clean. I didnt get to use the facilities such as the pool or spa. If I ever come to Hong Kong, I may consider staying here but if you want to be in certain areas in Hong Kong then I wouldn't suggest you stay here as it can be far.
google avatar

Kim M.

Yelp
Stayed here for a layover flight 30 July 16 - 31 July 16. We arrived at 3pm and the check in line was very long, but we were able to leave our bags with the concierge and head out to town. This hotel is a short taxi ride (about $45 hkd) to the Ngong Ping area with the Big Buddha. Definitely a must see in the area. Overall the room was spacious and very nice for a quick nights stay. We did not eat at the hotel, nor use the amenities, but the bed was very comfortable and you didn't hear any airport noise since we were able to see the planes take off and land right out our window. Overall if your in the area and need a quick convenient place to stay this is the place!
google avatar

Porter W.

Yelp
This hotel is becoming very dated. No USB connection, bathroom sink would not hold water, no laundry bag in the room, Room Service food as uneatable. Only plus is it's location you can easily reach it from the airport.
google avatar

M R.

Yelp
I have stayed here many times on my way home from Vietnam. If you are just transiting and need a nice place to stay overnight, and have no plans to go to HK or Kowloon, this is the best bet for the money. The walk from main terminal is only a few minutes. This is really nice when you are landing at 11pm. I'm a Marriott member and, even though you can literally see it from the airport, I still chose the Regal because of the ease to get in and out. My main tip is to stay on the Executive floor. The rooms are all very nice and the lounge is comfortable and they supply a nice and easy breakfast buffet. Most impressive is the staff there. They some of the most genuine I've come across after having spent far too much time in lounges all over the world. I needed some specific help with travel and they went above and beyond to get me sorted! Additionally they have very well sorted gym and some proper dining on the lower level.

Yelp
Wow you check in here it's like checking in to the 1970's. I got here late and the check in line was pretty long even at 1am. They ended up getting me through reasonably quickly. It's attached to the hotel though the signage could be better. There aren't any signs until you're already pretty close to it. But for both my arrival and departure n Cathay Pacific it was only a 5-10 minute walk away so that was good. I was on the top executive floor but oddly enough the elevator only goes up one floor below that so I had no idea how to get to my floor. Turns out you need to take the elevator as high as it goes and then there's an escalator up to the top floor. Weird. When I walked into my room it was like walking into the 1970's. The room and bathroom were reasonably clean just massively dated. I was just looking to get some rest between flights and for that j guess it was fine. I wasn't interested in a view or luxury or anything and it's a good thing because I got neither. But it you need a hotel for a night near the airport this place will be ok.
google avatar

Meng L.

Yelp
This hotel is 3 mins walk, all undercover from the airport. It is very well priced. The hotel is neat and tidy with decent sized rooms. You can pick up a trolley in the morning and push your luggage to the airport. With double glazing and the works, we could not hear any planes taking off or landing.
google avatar

Vi T.

Yelp
I received a free night stay with 2 meal vouchers for their onsite restaurants due to a delayed overnight flight on Cathay Pacific. Convenient and easy check-in with clean and comfortable king bed. Standard room had a small fridge, TV, and safe. Even though this hotel is directly connected to Hong Kong airport I did not notice any jet engine sounds for flight arrivals and departures. The hotel has several restaurants and a massage spa onsite. I tried their dinner and breakfast buffet and the food was surprisingly tasty and filling. There was a good amount of local and international cuisine available.
google avatar

Wendy G.

Yelp
We stayed here overnight due to a delays which made us miss our connecting flight. The double queen room we received was definitely one of the older rooms - not the modern ones you see in the website or ads. Guess that's what we get since we literally are not paying for this room. The bellboys also didn't help us when they found out we were paying by voucher. Ouch. I'm traveling with my 2 kids and 5 bags. However this hotel is conveniently located right next to the airport, connected by a walkway so you can avoid the elements. So if you like airport food you may want to consider this hotel. The airport MTR is also very close by...a 5 minute walk for all this! The lobby which overlooks to the bottom 2 floors has the smell and vibe of a sleazy Reno/Vegas hotel casino complete with the smell of funky cigarette smoke. The room we got also smelled of air freshener and old cigarette smoke. Visible stains of varying colors on the carpet and smudges on the walls in the restroom. However as weird as it sounds, the room seemed like it's been somewhat cleaned. I don't see or smell dust and my son is allergic to dust. Overall this is not as nice of a hotel they are trying to portray. And I LOVE a nice hotel - it's the best part of my vacations.
google avatar

Zach G.

Yelp
We ended up here unexpectedly. Due to a delayed flight, Cathay put us up here on the way to Bangkok. Location is nice as it is attached to the airport. Check in was slow as the line was fairly long. Our room, in the spa section, was average. Nothing fancy, nothing bad, no view. If I were spending more than one night, I would probably grow very bored. And in fact, I love the Novotel nearby and would have preferred that if Cathay had given me a choice...only about 3 minutes from the airport by shuttle bus.
google avatar

K D.

Yelp
Regular Airport hotel that is walkable from international terminal 1 or 2. Very accerssible. Airport restaurants are available till 11 pm. Layout is sort of confusing as the reception is not on the first floor. Luggage porters were not immediately available as the porters were stationed by the far entrance that is very far from the reception area. The porters area were located behind the restaurant that curvces towards the airport entrance so they are not very visible from the reception. There was no offer for luggage assistance. The Hotel is showing its age already as the bathroom;s drains were slow draining. The room waas not well lighted despite the number of bulbs. Carpets are worn. Wifi available in public areas only. Shower room has a half door. Buffet breakfast was ample with miso, congee, omelette, fruits, salad bar. Bought the Disneyland package and it was a very interesting experience as we got a one or zero star customer service experience while getting the tickets and arranging for the ride. First, you do not get the tickets from reception. You get them from the concierge who seems to be in a hurry to serve you. I had to ask questions to get info on transpo pickup and drop off and tickets one at a time as no info were offered. Shuttle schedule was not hourly pickup and drop off to the hotel and Disneyland so we had to take a cab. Note: we booked this hotel because of the Disneyland package and transfers. Not all staff are fluent in English so we had to ask several people for directions to the taxi station. You need to be patient to ask and ask.

Yelp
This hotel was very efficient for an overnight stay. I prebooked and prepaid, thank god. I was not ready for issues at midnight after a long flight. I literally needed someplace to rest my head for 7 hours before an international flight, so I only used the mecessities. Nothing to write home about. The lobby is massive and impressive, but can't say the same about my room. It was basic, but didn't disappoint me because once again, I was in and out. I do remember it took me forever to find the light switch, but could've been jet lag getting ahold of my brain.

Yelp
Our hotel room isn't clean. The toilet seat had streaking residue and pieces of toilet paper in the bowl. The shower floor is stained with dirt and does not drain properly, plus there is no shower curtain! The bed is comfortable but has no sheet, just the fitted sheet that has a brown stain on the corner, and a comforter. We ordered room service (paid $70 USD + 10% service charge) for French onion soup, a salad and a French dip sandwich. The Soup was just a block of unmelted cheese in disgusting broth. The sandwich had poor quality meat and was piled with hard lettuce. The salad was skimpy and drowned in dressing. Our final complaint was about the thermostat not working, but we figured out the problem and it seems to be working fine now. We called the manager and he offered to have the food remade and to switch us to another room. We rejected both offers as we don't want to eat the food again for obvious reasons, and as we have to wake up at 4am, we don't want to go through the hassle of taking our five pieces of luggage to another room only to find the same conditions there as well. We asked for our money back for the food, as it was definitely not worth what we paid. The manager went on to say that their prices are comparable to other hotels in town, implying this is as good as it gets. He did not refund the money for the food.

Yelp
Plus - it's a walking distance from the airport. (Attached to it). That's about the only plus. The hotel is a bit on the old side with outdated plumbing. The moment somebody near us was using a shower or a toilet, we would hear crazy sounds in our room.. loud and weird. There is a lot of travelers going in and out at all times - so we heard noises all night long (including a crying baby), and the walls are paper thin. Not a good place to get a decent night of sleep. Room seemed clean at first - but the floor and the couch were dirty with obvious stains on them. gross Overall, a basic room.. a place that I would never pay with my own money to stay at.

Yelp
Super convenient location with clean and spacious rooms. The quality of the room service is really disappointing though, tepid bland food.

Yelp
The hotel is clean and convenient. The service is terrible. The Chinese restaurant below the lobby is a rip-off. They charge extra for the sauces and the snacks they place on the table that you don't order. The guy who seats people at the bar looks annoyed. Bottom line, good sleep if you have a long layover but don't dine there.

Yelp
We stayed at the Regal Airport Hotel for 1 night due to a missed connection in Hong Kong. We only stayed there for a few hours and found the room neat, clean and comfortable. After traveling onward and reaching our final destination, I realized I was missing my wedding ring. We looked for it all over the hotel we were staying in and even tried to reach the airline to find out if it had been found. I never remember taking it off at the Regal Hotel, but we called them as a last ditch effort. Fortunately for us, the cleaning staff had found my ring and turned it in to lost & found. The hotel staff was kind enough to hold on to it for a month so I could pick it up on my next layover. I couldn't believe my eyes (or my luck) when I actually got it back!! I do not have words enough to thank the honest and kind Hotel staff! My faith in humanity has been restored thanks to you!!!

Yelp
After a 17 day business trip traveling between 9 different cities in Taiwan and China I learned that there was Typhoon approaching Hong Kong and scheduled to make landfall the day of my departure (August 1st) back home. The last part of my trip was in Houjie, a small city 2 hours by car from Hong Kong. Ive been traveling to china for more than 10 years and I always take the same flight from united airlines at 10:25am to Newark, so rather than starting a commute at 4am to make my flight I typically travel to Hong Kong the night before and stay in Regal airport hotel (I have done this at least 25 times). The nightmare started when my flight home was canceled which was understood due to the circumstances of a typhoon approaching the city. I booked my room for the Regal airport hotel through Hotels.com. So since my flight was canceled and was pushed to the next day, naturally I would need to push room reservation up one day as well. I knew that there was a no refund (because I booked through hotels.com), but I was just simply requesting a change of date for my current reservation. After sitting on the phone on hold for 3 hours (felt like 6) and hotels.com telling me to call the Regal, and the Regal telling me to call hotels.com (this happened 2 more times) hotels.com informed that they could not change my date and did not tell me why (keep in mind my flight was canceled be of a "TYPHOON"). So at this point I am pissed and demanding a refund, and they said that they would send me an email with 6 hours (they refused to take my cell phone number to call instead). I never received the email or heard a peep from hotels.com or the regal hotel. I get it...I read the terms and I understood that there was no refunds, but as a foreigner and a consistent customer who travels here on business at least 5 times per year (practically considering Hong Kong as a second home to me), it is mind blowing that 1) they could honor my request and change (not cancel or refund) my reservation 1 day forward so I could get to the airport and get back home and/or 2) give me a refund for $164.00usd due to a TYPHOON barreling down on Hong Kong on the morning of August 1st, 2016. In conclusion, I am normally not someone who writes reviews (good or bad) but its clear to me that hotels.com and the Regal Airport Hotel in HK does not care about their customers, particularly during emergency's and times of crisis. As a foreigner traveling to Asia as often I do my hotel should be the one place or organization I should be able to count on. Today I am very disappointed and upset with both Hotels.com and the Regal Airport Hotel in Hong Kong, you should both be ashamed of yourselves.
