Good theater, and ticket price is worth it for standard, 3D and 4DX

Wow when did they build this here? Amazing theater in a new mall. I’m always a Regal fan but it’s been years since I saw a movie in NYC. And I did read the comments about the seats. We saw Zootopia 2. Bright and large screen, very reassuring compared to my local Regal. Sound was great, concession stand was well stocked. It was a standard theater and the seats were VERY comfortable. No they do not recline but they are very comfy and tilt back as a desk chair 15-30 degrees. Very large but well bolstered, adequate space for your snacks and humongous drink. My ONLY complaint is not for Regal but the elevator and UP escalator was not working. Also the parking, leaving was a nightmare, it couldnot read my QR code. We had to try a different QR reader and no one was available on the support line. Otherwise will return for sure

DO NOT BUY TICKETS FOR LATE NIGHT SHOWS! THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU A REFUND. I bought tickets to an 11:20pm movie and when i arrived the theater was closed. This location knowingly sells tickets to a closed and shut theater AND THEY KEEP YOUR MONEY. Also theyll offer replacement tickets but you wont get them. Dont buy late night tickets, their customer service will lie to you and rip you off. Do not buy any tickets from this theater after 10pm lol

I love this movie theater it’s really clean and customer service is really nice and greeting they go above and beyond with service no matter the questions. I don’t mind losing in a ticket since I got a membership which I would recommend it as it offer great offers I enjoy going on Fridays

I had a good experience!! I wish there was more soaked our room for your legs and also better seating. Overall it's a really nice place with little to no issues at all! Would recommend for those on dates or hangouts

I loved this movie theater in Flushing NY very comfortable seats and good popcorn but I wouldn’t recommend sitting in any front row of the auditorium cause it’s way to close to the screen and it may cause neck pains. But other than that the cinema is beautiful and I would suggest going here to see a movie!

Movie started at 11:20 pm. I got there at 11:40 to avoid the previews and the doors were closed. I entered through the exit doors after shouting for a staff member to open. After 30 mins of trying to figure out how to get inside I made it in. No refund was mentioned Or any accommodation. This place needs better management.

bathroom are sooo clean, which is so unusual for a movie theater or public bathrooms in general. the place itself is so nice to walk through. my only gripe was this was my first time ever going and it was closing time, so it was difficult to figure out how to leave the place since the gates were pulled down. had to walk through a weird hidden corridor, while following random teenagers, to see where we had to exit

My time here is always great. Please space great atmosphere clean bathrooms . It's always fun here in Tangram because there's always so much to do afterwards . But I swear I travel all the way from the Bronx just to come here and watch a movie.

Favorite location out of all the Regal theaters (probably also because it's one of the newer ones and kept pretty clean). I've visited here many times already and no matter how early the first showing is, they are always ready to go with freshly popped popcorn. Redemption of rewards is always a breeze. Check in is with mobile tickets or paper tickets from their kiosks. I like how the kiosks are located outside the theater so that you can buy your tickets early before the actual theater opens. Bathrooms are always well maintained and clean (the larger one) with good quality toilet paper and toilet seat covers.

Cool theater located inside a cool complex called Tangram. The individual theaters are quite small so you're not stuck with tons of people. And the seats are generous and can lean back for comfort. Clean and cozy. And occasionally it plays Chinese films, which is a real treat for the locals and myself.

Finally checked out the new Regal theater inside the Tangram mall in Flushing. They opened a few years ago but I love how new everything feels still. The deco and layout and overall aesthetic of the theater is really nice and modern. The staff are friendly and efficient when checking your tickets and directing you to your movie. The bathrooms towards the entrance have only 2 or 3 stalls in each I believe but there may be more bathrooms further in. It's super convenient as it's near some shopping and the food court inside Tangram which is great.

This was my first time at this theater as I've only just discovered it. I love the lighting throughout as the neon red light pops against the background black on the walls. Everything was very nice and clean and service at the concessions stand is good as well. I will definitely come back now that I know it's close by.

Came here on a Tues morning to watch a movie and that's the earliest time to watch is 11am but at least the mall is open at 10 so i hung out there. Brought tickets online but the tickets at the front are a little cheaper as they don't charge a convivence fee. Overall the time I went was not packed, theater not full. Theater was quite clean. Temperature was optimal for a hot summer day. Overall would come back.

I am a member of Regal and go to the movie theater often. The Regal in Tangram is nice and modern - it's all new and the seats are comfortable. The sights and sounds in the theater (including the 4DX) are good. The service here can be a hit or miss - sometimes the lines are super slow at the concession stands and they only have 2 lines open. The bathrooms can be better kept during the busy times as there are usually no more toilet seat covers and there is toilet paper all over the stall floors. Most of the staff I have encountered have been friendly and helpful.

Had a thrilling 4DX movie experience here and was pleasantly entertained. Selecting the middle rows and seats gives the best view of the gigantic screen; lobby staff provides the 4d glasses up front once check-in is complete; Concession was offering a weekday combo deal; small soft drink and popcorn with Welches gummy for $5. The theater room was smaller than anticipated, seats are wider and more comfy. Once the movie start, that's when the fun begin; seats sway and move sideways synchronizing along with the movie, a whiff of fresh air puffs from the back panel of the seat and a splash of water places the audience into the heart of the movie. Took my child to watch Despicable Me 4- and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. Overall, this is BANANA!!!

Tangram Mall is always a fun spot. Great restaurants, Shops, arcades and the Movie Theater kind of tops it all off if your looking for a good time. Go here and spend the afternoon, then catch a movie and some Hot Pot afterwards.

I took my daughter to see Five nights at Freddy's to this theatre because she wanted the popcorn bucket that had the characters from the movie. The movie came out today and I went there right after I picked her up from school. When I asked for the bucket they told me they were sold out. I find that to be impossible when the movie just came out today and the place looked empty. I believe the staff takes these promotional items to possibly sell online at a higher price instead of selling them to movie goers. I will never set foot in this theatre again

a new-ish movie theater in the new-ish tangram mall in flushing queens. Positives: they have Adult matinee pricing ($9.50) and Asian movies (especially Hong Kong and China) that no one else has, new and smells new. Not very crowded vs other theaters. There are kiosks machines downstairs vs an actual ticket booth. 7 total screens (generally small) with theater 1, 2 immediately after your ticket is checked. Staff does check whats inside your bag when you enter. No refill soda machine. Seats are OK comfortable and recline back but not permanently. Better than traditional seats but not as comfty as premium seats. For those movie theater hopping, this place is small so difficult but can be done especially if avoiding theater 1, 2

First time here and it could have been a way better experience. Pros- Great customer service and easy to find where you need to go. Also cool looking theater inside and outside , good job on the lighting as well. Cons - Food and drinks tasted kinda off and had this smell to it that might indicate it wasn't freshly made and was sitting out a long time. The Audience in the theater due to the population part of NYC (flushing) is mainly Chinese moms that brought their kids which is cool but so many of the moms used their phones in the dark while the movie was playing and almost all of the kids were so loud and talking throughout the movie. I did not experience this in AMC 95% of the time in other neighborhoods like Manhattan or Bayside even when there were younger people so I guess mannerisms are different. Also they were sneezing and coughing non stop and went to the bathroom 3 times while they were in my same row. Really ruined the experience even though I purposefully bought the back tickets to not be bothered. But it isn't my own personal theater I guess.... Not coming to theaters in flushing again.

So I had never heard of 4DX however when I saw someone say they saw Avatar in 4DX & it was awesome, I figure there's no time like right now, so I also decided to see Avatar in 4DX. If you're not familiar with 4DX it enhances action-packed flicks with special effects including motion-synchronized seats, wind, fog, rain, lightning, snow, bubbles, vibration and scents. Now the theater is located inside a mall, however on the outside you see the sign that says "Regal" so it lets you know you're in right place & not far from it. Upon waking in the mall you pass some restaurants & around the corner is the movie theater. Downstairs they have kiosk if you wanna purchase a ticket on the spot & then there's two escalators & the down escalator wasn't turned on. I showed my ticket to the agent & then decided to go by their bar area to get a drink. The bartender asked to see my movie ticket & ID, which I asked "do you have to be seeing a movie to grab a drink" & she said "yes". They currently have some specialty drinks for Avatar so I got one of those & it was good. I also grabbed some candy & dipping dots. Now the movie theater, it was a surprise to me the effects started even with the previews, I wasn't expecting that & I had my drink that just came in a plastic short cup & didn't have a lid, so as you can imagine as my seat is shaking, some of my drink spilled, so I held it in my hand vs putting it in the cup holder. Someone next to me too feed quite a bit of their popcorn to the floor. So being that the seats shake( & they really shake during certain scenes like a fight scene) it's best to make sure if you have popcorn, hold it tight & if drinking something you might wanna stop drinking it until the shaking stops. The experience overall is pretty cool & the theater is conveniently located 2 blocks up from Main Street & the theater was clean. The bathroom as well was very clean. I would definitely see a 4DX movie again & also would visit this theater again.

Came to this location to watch "The Flash" in 4DX. At the bar, got pineapple margaritas which were strong but liked the flavor better. The concession stands lines were not long, but staff closed one line after taking someone's order and not even saying anything. I didn't order any food because of that. I would highly recommend 4DX for action movie as the seats moved, air blew from the seats, and water drops splashed. There is an option to turn off the water from the seat but that takes the fun out of it. I'd definitely go back when wanting to view in 4DX! Great experience for action movies.

Nice theater, came by to watch avatar in 3D a while back and it was pretty empty so we had the whole place to ourselves, clean too!

New, nice and neat. $14 for adult. $10 for child. Extra $8 for 4D. Comfortable seat but the one I went to had no leg rest ( one star deducted). It does recline to certain extend. We got chicken cheese nacho for $10.50 and large coke $7.50 ( free refill). Nacho was so so. We didn't have high expectations to start out with. The theater has a bar and lounge which we did not use. Clean bathroom. Staff was friendly. Since it's located inside a mall, plenty of eatery in the mall. Tip: every Tuesday all show $6.50. 50 % off popcorn.

Strange experience here... I really wanted to see the movie, Joy Ride. I checked the Regal website on a Saturday, and it was showing at EVERY REGAL except the Tangram location on a Tuesday! I was so confused because they had showings of this movie every day of the week except Tuesday. I just wanted to get the Tuesday discount. I would continue to check the Regal website everyday up until Tuesday and the Joy Ride showings didn't pop up until TUESDAY AT NOON! So confusing! Why didn't the movie showing appear earlier? Anyways... the chairs inside the theater remind me of an airplane. It makes you want to believe the chairs will recline, but it doesn't really recline more than a 110° angle. Can't put your feet up either. Not very comfortable and the screen was poor quality for the trailers. I was getting scared the movie would be bad quality too... but it was fine.

So this theater is located in the nice and shiny tangram mall. It's clean and tidy but not well staffed as most things are post pandemic. Took my kid to see Garfield. Movie theater was maybe 1/4 full but it was not enjoyable at all. Everyone was so rude. Between the ladies who are doing loud verbal WeChat messages on their phones to the kids who are stomping their feet in unison during the movie or the people who kept getting up to rearrange seats- it was annoying as heck. Some would say it's reflective of the neighborhood but damn I've never been in a theater that loud for something that wasn't even packed! No staff on hand to tell people to knock it off of course. I would rather go to an older theater if it meant a more pleasant experience.

Flushing hasn't had a movie theater since 1986, when the old RKO Keith's closed...that's 35 years ago!! This new theater is definitely a win for the area. For their grand opening, they're offering $3 tickets until 11/17/21. I was surprised that this theater wasn't a huge multiplex; decent size but not huge. There are ticketing kiosks in the lobby; no actual employees selling tickets. Of course, you can also purchase tickets online. Once you have your tkts, take the escalator up one level. The staff will check your tkts and ask for ID & proof of vaccination. There's a bar/lounge, concession stand and two separate areas for restrooms. No reclining chairs; the chairs are narrower than most chairs in other theaters, with high backs. Honesty, the chairs were kind of uncomfortable since the high backs force your head to tilt downward. So why just 3 stars? There is absolutely no supervision in the theaters and minimal staffing. Large groups of people were randomly seating themselves wherever they found an empty seat. Obviously, these ppl snuck in after seeing another movie. Of course, when the people who purchased those assigned seats showed up, everyone played musical chairs. This was so annoying and distracting while trying to watch a movie. Also annoying were the constant chattering & phone conversations during the movie. And for the first five minutes, we watched the movie with the bright lights ON!! When the lights finally went off, we actually applauded. Note to management: I know this is a newly opened theater but get it together!

After three decades, downtown Flushing finally has a movie theater again! Regal Tangram had it's grand opening today; and is offering $3 tickets to all of the shows including ones in 4DX. The movie theater is located inside the new Tangram building on the second floor. The decor here reminds me of Times Square at night with it's dark walls, neon lights and various TV screens. It's a new theater so everything was spotless and clean. There's also a sizeable Bar and Lounge located by the escalator; perfect for those movie date nights. The concession stands have the usual offerings (popcorns, hot dog, nachos) and prices are on the higher end for Flushing. The 4DX theater itself was smaller than I was expecting and seats aren't as roomy as other Regal theaters. The seats had cup holders but weren't equipped with a moveable tray for food so I ended up balancing everything on my lap. This proved very challenging throughout the movie. This was the first time I've ever been to a 4DX theater to see a movie. I'm actually not a fan of watching movies in 3D or 4D but I thought I would give 4DX a chance since the tickets were only $3. The whole experience was pretty immersive (maybe a little too much). During the movie, there was the synchronized motion seats, fog, wind and water sprayed at us. The seats moved and swayed quite a lot; at times it almost felt like I was on a roller coaster. I ended up putting my food and popcorn down on the floor because I had trouble holding onto them as the seats were moving so much. I'm glad I got to experience a 4DX movie at this brand spanking new theater. I doubt I would ever see another film in 4DX as it's just not for me. I rather enjoy seeing films in old school formats like a large screen. The $3 ticket promo is going on all week so I am planning on coming back to see atleast one more movie but this time in regular 2D.

I'm giving this theater some slack as they just opened and I understand they still need to get a hand on things but overall I like that there is a theater in the heart of Flushing for those that want to enjoy a good meal and then watch a movie after or vice versa. My friends and I came here to watch a movie and everything seems to move quite nicely. They guy that checked our ticket asked for proof of vaccine so that in itself was a huge plus. Once inside, I went for my popcorn and that went smoothly as well and my popcorn was really good despite my being full from my meal earlier. The theater is clean but I kind of expected that since they just open. However, the seat itself wasn't not too comfortable for me ask I can push my seat back but it won't stay unless I continue to add pressure to it. Another issue I had was when the movie started the movie attendant forgot to shut off the light so that was a bit distracting. Lastly, I saw a lot of kids sitting on the isle to watch the movie when it started, which is a fire hazard. Eventually and employee came in and asked that they sit somewhere else. Overall, I welcome this theater to the neighborhood and hope that they succeed.

Since my first post got flagged and removed..... Here's my revision: Underwhelmed.... all that hype about this place having 4D ...and being in the heart of flushing .... The chairs weren't even recliners.... so with time...it'll be even more uncomfortable to sit through. I was all excited for this movie theater.... Pro: They have a bar ...so adults will get to enjoy some harder beverage options. Bathroom was pretty clean, neat, and not yet terrorized by "fill in the blank".... aka....wait...for...it..........

Went to see the flash here opening night and it was my first time attending this theatre and I loved this experience. It's locator inside the mall so you won't see it until you walk inside and turn left. Very big, clean and modern. They have a lil cocktail bar area with seating if you want to catch some drinks before your movie. They have a pretty good concession stand with food and snacks. There are arcade games to play as well for enjoyment. Now entering the 4d experience was very exciting. The seats start moving as soon as the previews start make sure you don't have food or drinks at the seat because the seat is very active, feels like a roller coaster ride you really have to hold on to your seat. If there is a water scene you'll also feel a light mist of water over your shoulder and neck which was cool. It was definitely something to experience atleast once very fun.

Been going here since early last yr. 1st time getting a large popcorn. Nice of the cashier to let us know we get free refills if we get a large. Got a large popcorn for the 1st time & I was baffled my how humongous it is. The popcorn was too salty for me but that's usually the case everywhere. Heard the cherry slushie is good.

I love watching movies and going to different movie theaters. I was so excited that they made a regal in flushing since I'm always here. I brought my parents with me because they wanted to see marry me and haven't been to the movie theater since over a decade. I thought it was a good idea to try this place out since we never been here. It was kind of hard finding the entrance since there was a regal sign on the hotel sign but it's actually along prince street near the alley bubble tea and shaking crab. Once we arrived, a guy led us where to go to retrieve our tickets. After we went up the escalator and asked for vaccination card and bought popcorn, large Pepsi, and nachos. We sat in our seats and the theater is very clean and spacious. My problem was the previews weren't as visible as it should be.. it was more of the screen were black and red. I thought that it was it was the trailer itself but all the trailers looked like that. The movie started and was still black and red. I went to see Marry Me and couldn't see JLo at all. We contacted the staff about this problem 3-4 times before they actually did something about it. The popcorn was half done and the movie didn't start. We were sitting in a pitch dark room for about 10 minutes and told us that we can get complimentary tickets for the inconvenience, but wasn't worth it since my parents were so excited to see a movie to end up sitting in a theater for an extra 30 mins for the actual movie to start. I ended buying another popcorn within minutes into the movie. After the movie, we had to see the manager to get the complimentary tickets. He told us he'll be right back and we waited for another 10 mins to receive them. This place is nice but the cons are the parking, problems with the movies and lack of staff fixing it quickly. We wanted to eat at a restaurant afterwards but ended up not eating where we were supposed to go to since it was past 10:40 pm. It's a clean and new theater but I wouldn't go back to this regal location.

This use to be that mall that had these hole in the wall noodle spots where you can't get anywhere else. With random shops of wedding photography to misc. stationary shops. Entering through the Prince Plaza entrance you see that they have renovated and modernized the area where it's still extremely spacious. Great place to roam around and find little shops and even foodie/bars inside. Hoping they will add more in the future. Came here to finally try out their 4D movies. Ended up picking the Avatar. Let me tell you now. If you haven't experience it. You should. Some tips. 1. If you're going. Try not to get TOO drunk. But an enough buzz to enhance the experience. 2. Make sure if you're grabbing a drink sip some so it won't be splashing you all over. Trust me those chairs can literally throw you and im a BIG guy! For it to rumble and chuck me somewhat off the chair is a beast of its own! I can only imagine you 110 lbs of light weights be flying! 3. If you have motion sickness or you're the type that can't handle motion films. This is NOT the type of movie for ya. If so watch it without the 3d effect and just have the moving chairs. Even so that can get you a bit dizzy. FYI. Movies like AVATAR is like 3hrs long... Think of rollercoasters for 3 hrs.. if you can then cool beans. Overall it was enjoyable! I will definitely come back for action/scenic pack movies! Don't be a dum dum for rom/drama's. I can't even imagine what the chairs can do ..at most spray you when they cry? lol Save yooooo $$$ !

Regal Tangram. Flushing Queens movie theater, it's inside of a mall took me about 30 minutes just to find parking and the place does not scream this a a movie theater from the outside. Inside it's nice, it's a bright bowling alley but for movies. The reason why so many are coming here it's for the 4Dx experience. I made the horrible decision to watch Avatar The way of Water and man my back was killing me. If you want to have back pain you should watch a 3hr movie in 4dx. But the 4dx experience is for shorter films but it's a good experience a fun one. The other theaters is okay. It's a stadium seating for those who care. So don't go In expecting recliners. Food and drinks are fine, like every other movie theater it's over priced. But this one has beer and alcohol drinks. With 4DX that should be fun. They also check bags so no outside food, that's too bad because mine was full of books It's nice for a modern movie theater. Glad Flushing finally has one again. Maybe I expected too much. 4dx is fun Check it out Thank you.

This new movie theater is located inside Tangram Mall. This is the only movie theater located in Flushing. My friend and I are very happy there is a movie theater here since the other one we normally go to isn't close to Main Street Flushing. This is another option for us to go if we want to watch a movie. The movie theater is very clean and bright. I love the color choices from lights to seats. The only thing we didn't like is that the seats don't recline with leg rest so it wasn't as comfortable as we hoped.

For a big and tall person like me, seats were snug. Also no where to place your snacks, so the kids spilled a little while we trying to get situated. During popular mall hours, parking is a bit hard to find. This is not our usually theater to go with the kids and we probably won't return in the future.

As a new Bronx resident, I needed a new theater to watch the upcoming films that piqued my interest but not too far from home. I noticed this option and was excited to try it out as it is one of the newest theaters I have ever seen. Experience: 4/5 When you find the theater, past the hot pot restaurant, you are a little confused by the kiosks at the bottom, if are used to purchasing tickets from a booth like me. Feel free to use them and purchase your tickets and select your seats. Once you take the escalator to the upper level, you will see a bar which serves drinks in plastic cups and your first human interaction, who will check and tear your ticket. After you past that station the illuminating concession stand awaits, which has most movie staples (i.e., popcorn with butter). Inside the theater there are big red seats that recline if you push it backwards. Not bad but, not great for short people like me. All in all, definitely going back with friends! The regular experience was excellent and the conditions of the place wonderful. Excited for my next movie trip!

Went and had my first ever 4DX experience watching Top Gun Maverick. I figured if there was ever a movie to see in 4DX, Top Gun was it. It's definitely a fun experience. There are lights, water, fog, smells?!, wind elements, and moving chairs. Watching Top Gun was a blast. Tickets were $21, which I don't even feel is terrible. There's a parking lot right in the same building so I didn't have to fight for parking, and it was $3. The theater was huge, clean, and would definitely return for other action movies in this format.

The movie experience was pretty good and I will attempt to go to this theater again, the reason for my 3 stars is the area and lack of proper signs. There is a parking garage but there isn't a lot of signs or directions towards the entrance. My movie ended after the mall part of this facility had closed, none of the employees were kind enough to advise us how to leave, there were just closed gates and two elevators to the main levels. I originally saw a couple with a wheelchair near the elevators so I assumed it was for them. Nope - it's for all of us if we don't want to be locked in for the evening. The theater also double booked my seats. Luckily there was a wait for food and since I opted out of waiting around, we were seated and didn't have to move. Upon leaving I was completely lost. Not fun at 1am.

I didn't even know this theater opened a year ago. This theater is meh. Go to AMC, your neck will thank you. Let's talk about comfort: - Seats are reserved in advance. But the movies don't get filled up. The seats ARE reclining but they're not comfortable, you have to actually use strength and force to push the backseat of the chair. As a petite person watching a 2.5 hour movie (probably 3 hours with the commercials), this was not easy to do. I would imagine kids struggle with this too. - no love seats, so I'd you're going with your boo, it don't matter where you sit really - seats are pretty small/tight - they're definitely not for everybody. You can EASILY rest both of your arms on both armrests. Like an economy seat on the plane. So imagine if the theater fills up, person sitting next to person, and you only get one armrest instead of 2. Not the most comfortable. They check bags, tickets once upstairs. Having sat down for a 2.5 hour movie, I initially tried to recline because it felt more comfortable. But overtime, I just sat back up because it was too hard to keep pushing it back. I wouldn't recommend buying seats near the screen either, your neck will be craning 90 degrees the whole time. With AMC, you can adjust the seats recline to your own comfort and don't have to use force to keep it back. Price is barely cheaper here. Smaller theaters at AMC, but quality over quantity. Won't be returning.

I signed up to watch a movie. I didn't know I signed up to exercise my back muscles as well! Located inside a beautiful condo complex, Regal sat beside several food shops and other things still in development. You can buy tickets on the first floor before ascending up to the main area. The lobby was quite massive, with employees working hard during opening weekend to check vaccination cards. A $3 movie during opening weekend was such an amazing deal, and I was excited to visit my supposed favorite theater chain again. Until I realized the seats were not reclining. They had no cushioning for our legs either! And no, constantly pushing myself back to move the seats don't count! They were the most uncomfortable seats I sat in, and my movie was over 2 hours too! I am severely disappointed as I remember their reclining seats used to be so comfortable. Nonetheless, it was still nice to see so many people who live in the neighborhood flock here to watch a movie. This theater is still a great fantastic addition to Flushing. Just please, change back the seats.

Quite possibly the cleanest and best sounding theater I've been to in quite awhile. Saw the new Ghostbusters afterlife movie here, and the sound and picture didn't disappoint. Very new and comfortable seating, incredibly well made acoustics for the sound, and a well stocked snack bar option. I hope this theater does well - still can't get over how incredibly clean and fresh and new it was!

Welp, the non-movie watching crowd has managed to find this theater, and they are as horrible if not worse as everywhere else. Saw 'Transformers' this weekend and the talking, jokes, phone use and comments were at an all time high. I have no idea why people go to the movies if they don't want to know the story, hear what the actors are saying or want to turn everything into a joke. 100% Waste of money. Nevertheless, another theater overrun by people who don't actually want to watch a movie, just narrate it. Cancelled an upcoming reservation during the afternoon because it's unbearable during that time.

The grand opening was surprisingly empty on a Friday night but it was still a great time. The theater was clean, the staff were friendly and the food was pretty decent too. I normally don't order movie food but I wanted to enjoy the experience. My only complaint is that food took a while to come out. The hot food anyways. The chicken tenders and fries were great but it took more than 20 mins to get. The pizza also took a long time to come out and we were the only ones at the counter. The seats don't recline but I didn't mind that. Overall great experience and the tickets were so affordable. $3 for the entire first week opening. Go soon!

It's a very nice theater. It's entrance is kind of hidden behind a bunch of construction and there's really no clear signage to tell you it's the theater, so it's a bit difficult to find. If you're coming from Main Street, it's on the same block as Kyuramen. The theater itself, is very nice. The main color scheme is black and orange, and I saw a total of 4 workers. One at the concession station, 2 at the ticket check in and the last was cleaning the escalators. I feel the sound could've been slightly louder at the showing, but it could've just been me. I'm a bit sad there's no reclining chairs, but it's quite clean. Overall, nice theater. I look forward to coming back soon.

The only reason I am giving this theater 4 stars is because the seats did not recline. For $16, customers should have comfortable seats, especially for long movies. Popcorn was great and so was the service otherwise!

Came here to obviously see Eternals for 3$! This is where the old flushing mall used to be. It's been almost a decade so it's exciting to see a movie theater. The layout is beautiful clean and spanking new. There are kiosks and plenty of bathrooms for the 7 screens The seats just lean back slightly to your own weight and you will be annoyed every time someone walks by as they'll knock the back of your chair. You will also feel squished up against the next person and have no space to kick your feet up. Popcorn was delicious even though there is only one butter station. There is a bar and lounge opening up and also a food court which I'm sure will bring a lot more fun to this place. There were so many annoying cow dung eaters that dumped their popcorn on the floors and even in the bathrooms. Movie theaters are always a magical place and a treat, I hope that the people who come here will treat it as such.

This is a brand new movie theater that just opened in Flushing. Apparently, it is the first one in the neighborhood in over 30 years. For their first grand opening week, they were offering tickets to all movies for only $3, so I decided to check it out. It is inside a new shopping center called Tangram. There was nothing else besides a bubble tea spot inside. Everything else was still under construction. Surprisingly the theater was smaller than I thought. Both the size of the individual theaters and the number of screens are not too big. In the theater we sat in, we were in the next to last row and we still thought it was a little too close to the screen. It seems that they crammed as many seats as they could into each theater. The seats themselves are also not the most comfortable. They recline but do not lock in place in the reclining position. You actually have to hold it in place with your own body weight. Otherwise it will spring upright again - very awkward. Another awkward aspect of the seats is that there is no tray to put your food - only an armrest for your drinks. If you have a tray of food, it will end up sitting on your lap. I will probably not go back and will opt instead for theaters with actual stadium style seating.

Checked out the newly built Tangram Shopping Mall and had the opportunity to also check out the newest movie theater in the area. Interior: I want to say it's clean, modern and everything you want to see from a brand new movie theater. Feature Amenities: - They provide 4D movie theaters. Very unique, it's something you'd see at Disney typically. What is 4D? It's sort of immersive and interactive. There is wind that might blow at you, or water that's squirted out, fog or like a rumble chair that makes you feel like you're in the action when that sort of scene is happening. For those that enjoy that type of experience, they do provide that here. - There is an inside bar that offers drinks. Music is usually very bumping so a great experience to chill before or after a movie with friends. Cons: The only thing I will say that sort of stinks is that the seats are manual recline. They're not the full recline and only recline around 30 degrees. It's not terrible and it's still better than the old days. But if you want a full on recline, may have to look elsewhere. But hey, it's in Flushing near all the yummy stuff so can't really complain in my opinion. Summary: All in all, great movie theater, highly recommend coming with friends. It's in Flushing and they did it justice. The seats don't recline fully so that's the only negative. Has 4D movie options and also the typical 3D stuff. It's in the newest Tangram mall which is nice also. Lots of new stores to browse before or after the movie.

It's good to see such an easily accessible theater in the heart of downtown Flushing. While it's not unexpected, it is quite small compared to the college point theater. My first visit here was watching Eternals in 4D and all in all I'd probably would've prefer to watch it in 2D or 3D instead with reclining chairs (which I'm not sure the theater has). The 4D chairs were a bit stiff and it made it hard to concentrate at times with the whole rollercoaster-esque feeling that the chairs created. Thankfully you could turn the water effects off, but there's no way to tone the shaking or air spritz effects down. There was that in addition to fog effects (which were sometimes nice to match the scenes) and something that appeared like snow/soap bubble confetti fall from the ceiling once or twice. The auditorium itself is also a bit small, wouldn't really recommend any seats from row A or B unless you want a stiff neck from both the shaking and having to keep your head up to watch. I was told by a friend who been there before that the auditorium that she was in to watch in 2D had row A-C clustered together and wouldn't recommend it either. The space is overall clean and there's a good amount of deals going on right now to attract people. Unfortunately, with it being in downtown I get a feeling that the cleanliness standard will start to fall and that won't be due to the establishment but rather the crowd (given what I saw post-movie). The theater is located up an escalator and has multiple entrances which is nice. The overall look of it does feel modern and quite enclosed, which could be liked or disliked depending on your preferences. Vaccines passes and IDs were checked before tickets were. There were many small kiosks (I didn't look up close, but assume you can get tickets there if you wanted) on the first floor before you go up the escalator as well as once you've entered.

Ahhh! Finally a movie theatre in the heart of Flushing! Super convenient - you can just grab food and catch a movie! No need to take an extra Q25 to Showcase College Point, Q17 to AMC Fresh Meadows, or Q28 to AMC Bay Terrace. Great catch - they're having $3 movie tickets from opening day, November 12 until Tuesday, November 17 for all showings. Unfortunately, I did not get to watch in the 4DX because I believe they only have it in one of their theatres which is playing Eternals (which I saw already). I walked to the theatre after work and entered at the front entrance of Tangram which is still blocked off because of renovations and had to walk back to the Prince St entrance between the Alley and KULU. It looks like one of those medical buildings and surprises you with a bunch of hidden gems inside! There's a pharmacy, gym, HK tea shop, and more stores coming soon! I knew I reached the theatre which I saw kiosks where you can buy and pick up tickets. There's an employee standing near the kiosk right before the escalator who checks your proof of vaccination. Then there's more kiosks after you go up the escalator. To the left is a bar & lounge which is pretty small. To the right more lounging chairs before you reach an employee that checks your ticket. Right after you pass that is the concession stand with three lanes. The prices are standard Regal prices. Like any other theatre I always stick with the kids pack which includes a small popcorn, drink, and fruit snacks for ~$7. There was a lot of people on a Saturday night and a lot of people working as well. Everyone was friendly and trying to get things in order. Someone even pointed me to the butter machine to the right of the concessions since the theatre was overall very dark. The restrooms are to the left of the concession stands and have 2 stalls. The theatre entrances was close together but includes a long walkway to the actual theatre. The theatre is surprisingly small and reminds me of a small city theatre. The chairs are narrow as well, but comes with an extended arm rest with a drink holder and food tray as well as your seat number. The seats are also NOT fully reclining which is unfortunate because the screen is very high and my neck was hurting during the movie looking up with my chair pushing me down. You can push your chairs back a little but it doesn't stay in place and moves back to it's original position. I watched Clifford and the theatre was filled with kids running around during the movie and kicking my chair. I don't recommend watching a long movie in these chairs as well. TIP: book the last and highest row though! Overall, it was a nice experience and I'm excited for what this brings to Flushing!

This is a very nice movie theater on the second floor of the Tangram Mall in Downtown Flushing. The staff is very friendly and it is very clean. I found the seats to be very comfortable and the sound system very good.

The facility is nice, relatively clean and safe. The projector and audio systems are very good.
