Regency Angkor Hotel

My wife and I were cycle touring through Cambodia on our way to Vietnam. My wife had a bicycle accident nearby, and we made our way to the Regency to evaluate her injuries. We absolutely could not have been taken care of any better. Someone came and began to clean her wounds. Our bicycles were taken to secure storage, and our gear taken to our room. The manager walked us next door to the health clinic and helped explain our situation to staff there. When it became clear we would have to return home (broken arm, concussion), staff were always available to assist or answer any questions. Staff did everything in their power to make sure the patient was comfortable. All this while we were able to enjoy the beautiful room, grounds and amazing breakfast. Finally, we were delivered with our bikes and gear directly to the airport. Well done!

Nice 3-day stay at Regency Angkor Hotel. Smooth check-in, friendly and helpful staff who arranged my room near the conference hall. The room was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. Breakfast had great variety, and the pool area was big and relaxing. A bit far from the city centre, so finding Halal food meant a short tuk-tuk ride. The gym could use better maintenance and a few small upgrades. Still, a pleasant hotel with warm service and great value overall.

AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COST!! Initially we booked this hotel for 5 nights but had to leave it after just one night. There was construction work on the roof of the pool area which we were not advised upon check-in. Then worst come to worst, the workers burned the packaging material (black plastic, styrofoam) just outside, which produced a highly toxic fume which came over the pool area where we were. We had to flee inside to avoid any poisoning. We demanded our money back, which was granted, however they charged us for the drinks we just had at the pool. How stingy! I thing, the hotel management does not care about their guest!. Our room was spacious, very firm beds, nice bathroom, a/c, fridge, kettle, toiletries, balcony with filtered views towards the pool. Breakfast was ok, nothing special.

It was a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staffs are friendly and attentive. The room was nice, big, and clean. The location sits right between the downtown and Angkor Archeological Park. The only downside was the weak Wi-Fi connection. I would stay here again next time.

Nice hotel on main road and $3 in a tuk tuk from pub street and town. Everything is $in a tuk tuk! Nice size room clean and has a safe and fridge. Dark though and lights are not great. Breakfast good and plenty of choice. Very friendly staff a good choice

Nice hotel with big room; good cleanliness; breakfast is under average of 5* hotel. The staff are polite and friendly. Good value for money.

The whole experience deserves a 5 star review. The service, hospitality, and level of security was way better than another 5 star hotel in the city. Will definitely choose Regency again if I ever travel back.

front desk person who received us was very helpful. He let us do early check in since the rooms are already available when we arrived at 5:30AM. I find all staff very accommodating and friendly/polite. Hotel is big and would consider booking in the same hotel if I will go back in Siem Reap. Overall good experience with our stay.
