This was our Gate 1 tour group's hotel for a couple of nights. It's a large and classy, colonial hotel with a big staircase in the lobby. It was very hot and humid in Siem Reap when we were there, like 103F type hot with 85% humidity. The air conditioning worked ok in the rooms, but the hallways and lobby were kept at ambient conditions, which was not particularly comfortable, but we weren't in those areas very long. The buffet breakfast was not particularly extensive but was in the acceptable ok range, and not exceptional. The coffee was good though. The room size was good. There was not much within walking distance, but we did take a quick $2 USD tuk-tuk ride down the street to a massage parlor. Overall, good, but not great. I'm going with a 4 star rating as I don't know what the competition is like in the area, and it could still be one of the best in the area, and I trust Gate 1 with their hotel selections for the tour group.

Nice hotel. Staff always kept the room clean. Morning breakfast was good. You have access to the gym and pool however, gym is a little outdated. Can use more working equipment. Hotel is in a good area. Easy to access the riverside. Hotel is also right next to the bank which is convenient. Good stay overall.

This is an old hotel serving good internaional an uncluding asian breakfast. First night i slept with entrance light on as it couldn't be off. Two lights couldn't be switch on and repair was only completed in the early afternoon. My room safe was also faulty. The Management should have conducted regular maintenance instead of waiting for customers to raise issues.

It is apparent that the hotel is a little old. When you first walk in you are greeted by the grand staircase. We checked in without any issues. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Once we were taken to our room we noticed a moldy smell but nothing too bad. We did find however the room wasn’t as clean as it looked. We found roaches in the bathroom so that was a big negative for us. We were only there for one night so we didn’t make a big deal about it. The breakfast was pretty good overall. It is a great distance from Angkor Wat. We also want to thank the lady at the reception that allowed us to take a shower in their facilities after we had already checked out and toured Angkor Wat so that was amazing. We probably wouldn’t stay there again because the roaches and cleanliness was a huge negative for us. But over it’s a just an ok stay.

Nice hotel, great attitude.Pros:Good location:Clean;Nice pool;Early check in without additional charges. Cons:Only one bath towel for person, no face towels;Unable to use smart TV functions despite it has it;No sockets near bed;A/C is a little weak, but maybe because of extreme hot weather outside (around +43).Thanks!

I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. This hotel is quite away from the city centre. Breakfast was not good, the table doesn't get wiped after people leave. The man at pool bar was staring at me, asked me if I was single, that was very uncomfortable. But the biggest problem was that swimming pool - as it was set in the centre of the building,I was waken up at 6am by the children's screaming and shouting. Same noise was going on until 10PM. After that I heard people by the pool talking loudly untill 1AM ! I was at the 4th floor but still it was heard well. I will not come back to this hotel.

Beautiful appointed hotel - yes it is older style but that is ok as all amenities are available - multiple dining areas, big swimming pool with bar, sauna, spa etc. Staff very helpful - short walk into town and only 30 metres from ATM. Food great.

It was super nice place to stay. Calm, relaxing stay I had. Breakfast was good and many choices. Staff were amazing, they always ready to help and so welcoming. I felt their natural hospitality from the reception. Nice pool by the way. Thanks and highly recommend this place to say.
