Regency Hotel

We spent here four nights between Christmas and New Year. The hotel is located in the Embassy District and the city centre as well as a lot of museums can be accessed easily by walking. The rooms are comfortable, modern and have enough space. The employees were very helpful and we also enjoyed the breakfast a lot. The buffet is not huge, but has everything you need and offers every day some new speciality. Overall, we enjoyed our stay a lot.

I had a short stay at the Regency Hotel and it was a very pleasant experience. The rooms are big, comfortable, and nicely kept, making it easy to feel at home. The staff is very welcoming and always ready to help, which made my stay even better. The location is also great, right in the center, close to everything you might need. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and highly recommended.

5 stars – Consistently Excellent Service I have stayed at the Regency Hotel in Chișinău multiple times, and each visit reinforces why I keep coming back. Today, I arrived in a rush and was looking for my passport at check-in—only to be warmly greeted with “No need, we know you, sir. Welcome back,” and my key already prepared. That level of personal attention and client orientation truly stood out. The rooms are clean, simple, and equipped with everything you need. The breakfast is honorable and decent—nothing extravagant, but consistently fresh and satisfying. Add to that a very convenient central location, and it’s easy to recommend this hotel. A solid 5 stars from me.

For such price tag, the service quality of hotel is unacceptable.No enough food on breakfast, cold communication on reception and mood lowering atmosphere. There are better options ın Chisinau than here.

I had a great stay at the Regency Hotel in Chișinău over the weekend. The hotel has a friendly yet professional atmosphere, making it a comfortable place to stay. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything needed. My room was clean and well-maintained, providing a pleasant stay. The hotel is located just a short walk from the city center, which was quite convenient. One of the highlights was the breakfast – it was absolutely delicious with a great variety of options. Overall, a very nice experience, and I would definitely stay here again!

Well appointed rooms with a fridge. Breakfast had a good assortment of hot and cold local and international food. There are a number of restaurants near by as well as a supermarket right around the corner. A number of tourist attractions are within a fifteen minute radius walking.

This review is based on one night spent in the hotel in October of 2024. The Regency is a perfectly fine hotel. It is close to a lot of where most visitors and tourists go in Chisinau. It is relatively modern. The rooms are big enough and good enough. Breakfast is okay. There is nothing to complain about when it comes to service. Some minor annoyances to mention: You have to go up numerous stairs from the street to enter the hotel. There is only one small elevator, which, in my experience, was almost always occupied by hotel staff, so I had to wait or squeeze in with them and their carts or other items. I took the stairs once and only once, as it was completely dark in the stairwell. While there's nothing "wrong" with the Regency, there are a lot of better choices in Chisinau. There is nothing special about the Regency for the price. I'd keep looking.

This is not my first time staying at this lovely hotel—if I recall correctly, this is my third visit. Each time, I am impressed by how clean everything is, from the rooms to the dining areas. The breakfast spread is always rich, varied, and absolutely delicious. The location couldn't be more convenient, with two great restaurants, a supermarket, and a cozy coffee shop nearby. I must also mention how spotless the towels and bed sheets are, a detail I truly appreciate. As for the meals, the lunch and dinner from their in-house restaurant are always just right. We happened to arrive on a gloomy, grey day, but once again, Arina at the reception brightened my spirits with her kindness and warm smile. 😊🌟
