Google
A unique place to see a movie! I've attended a couple of premieres here, as well as catching a new flick without battling the crowds at AMC, and it's always a cool experience. There are over 800 seats and a balcony, so it has the feel of "old Hollywood." The staff is friendly, and while the seats are not as posh or comfortable as stadium seating or recliners, there is something neat about sacrificing that in order to see a film in such a neat venue.

Google
Came here for early screening for Grantursimo. Great movie, by the way!! Gamer turns into F1 race driver! Movie theater location is close to the UCLA campus. It's pretty spacious and has a historical feel to it. Plenty of seats with great sounds.

Google
4.5 stars. I saw A Quiet Place: Day One at the Regency Village Theatre 0n 7/8/24. This is a magnificent theater with an outstanding presentation. Highly recommended! The screen is large (~60-70 feet wide?) and the image was razor-sharp from corner to corner. Audio was clear, loud, and immersive. The screen was protected by a curtain prior to showtime (No ads!). Why not 5 stars? - The HVAC system was audible during quiet moments. - The sightlines aren't perfect. We sat on the 7th row in order for the screen to fill our field of vision, but that left us looking up a little more than is comfortable. - A 5-star cinema shows classics occassionally, but from what I've seen, this theater only shows new releases.

Google
This is a great theater with one of the best screens and the best SOUND in Los Angeles. The staff is friendly and keeps the theater looking good. Also, points for the Bruin across the street. There is no way to praise this theatre enough.

It's been ages since I last visited! Westwood's dining scene has diminished, but this cinema still shines for a special movie night out! 🍿👍

Google
This prominent edifice is one of the few great landmarks where millions over the years have seen so many great films. I love watching a movie here as I have done for decades, one of the few movie palaces one can see from the air. It is a true icon, beautiful inside and out.

Google
Great old time theater with the seats to go along with it. The sound and screen were amazing. Not as clean as I would have thought. Can’t bring in outside drinks even though next to a Starbucks, but when asked to buy tea they didn’t have it and coffee wasn’t made. Again, good location for ucla. I would go again for the presentation.

Google
First time visiting this theater and was pleased with the architecture, accessibility and cleanliness.

Yelp
Such an iconic theater. It has a huge capacity, which is not surprising to know this theater held a lot of premieres. The people working here were always great and there was a nostalgic and romantic feel when watching a movie here. I can't give this any less than five stars, especially since the last two experiences here were really cool for me. I was able to see Licorice Pizza here before it was released widely and I got to attend a screening of Killers of the Flower Moon with the Q&A panel with all the stars, including Martin Scorsese, Leonardo DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone, Robert De Niro and more! Such great memories. The best part was that the screenings were free! Not 100% that it's confirmed at least for me, but it sounds like the theater is closing soon, which makes me really sad. Hopefully there will be some plan to salvage it or reopen, but that's just hoping as of now. Parking could be tricky since parking is pretty tricky all around Westwood Village.

Yelp
I've only been here for screenings-never a paid movie viewing-so my opinion may differ than others on here. What I am a fan of is that every time I come here, there is free popcorn and drinks, and when Harry Styles had a movie premiere, there was also a crapton of candy available so this made me super happy to be here. The history of this building is pretty cool, the bathrooms are old-school and there is normally a line, but it moves fairly quickly. Staff has been helpful from door to concessions to the maintenance. Can't really speak for parking since I'm there for screenings so we have a specific area to go to, which is a simple walk over. Whenever a screening comes up for this location, it's something I always look forward to!

Yelp
Back in the 1990's, I saw a lot of movies at this historic theater, as well as the Bruin theater across the street. It had been a while since I was at either, but I was in Westwood recently and decided to catch a movie at the Villiage Theater. In a world of ever increasing multiplexes and luxury seat theaters, this theater is an old school trip down memory lane. That said, you will not find a better, more modern sound system anywhere. Complete with Dolby Atmos & THX Ultimate Cinema, what a movie going experience it is! The screen is big to match the theater and it felt great to be watching a movie in a large, old school environment. For any lover of cinema and the theater going experience, this place can't be beat. From the marquee to the adorned walls, it just feels right!

Yelp
My first visit to the Regency Village Theatre was for the red (purple) carpet premier of Joy Ride! It was a star-studded evening including the main cast and screenwriters of the movie. The theater was regal with plush red velvet seats and a stage that seemed to stretch as far as the eye could see. It's got vintage old-school charm with ornate columns, walls, and carpeting. Great spot in the heart of UCLA for some evening entertainment!

Yelp
Tried the balcony and it is a great view!! Sadly Sound system not good, nor are the chairs. Arm rest do not raise and you do not have head rest either. The screen does not wrap around and you can hear the film reel as it does emit the older Hollywood vibe. This is a good place for plays but not a movie experience. Very hard to find seating here with the way it's numbered. Recommend coming here earlier to find seats. The ushers are also very strict about not having cell on while movie showing. They will come to you in middle of the show, so no sneaking around trying to find out from rotten tomatoes what the ending is!!

Yelp
Watching a movie here is a must-have experience for anyone in LA. I've been fortunate to have watched many movies here and be part of a red carpet movie premiere, and each visit felt very special. Just to hammer out some details: there are plenty of paid parking lots nearby (street parking on the other hand is quite challenging); the concessions stand has your typical options; the screen and sound have been great each time; and the bathrooms are clean and plentiful. You should definitely come see a movie here!

Yelp
**February 2023: Monday Evening Visit** I've actually been here a couple of times and sat in various parts of the theater (balcony, front row, middle) and it's a good theater to watch any features - though I don't recommend the very front row on the side as the image does get distorted; regardless I always have a good time here. The architecture is charming and has a nice old school feel to it. It's a single movie complex so everyone is watching the same thing. The one negative is that they have very limited bathrooms. I think maybe 4 stalls for women for the entire theater so the line is always quite long when the movie's over. Otherwise it's a great theater!

Yelp
Love this theater and now it will be saved by great filmmakers as Jason Reitman, Guillermo del Toro, Steve Spielberg, to name a few. Just saw the original War of the Worlds there which was spectacular. Great staff, beautiful venue, and everyone should go see movies in a theatre and the Regency is one of the very best
google avatar

Yelp
I am a huge fan of single screen movie theaters and this one is on my top 5 of the best in LA (less and less unfortunately). It is beautiful, iconic, roomy, comfortable. Great architecture and nice seating. A very nice movie experience. I like walking around in Westwood Village before and after the show. Sometimes they have a premiere here so that's always fun. For movie goers, this place should be a must!
google avatar

Yelp
Just saw the Haunting In Venice and it was super cool on opening night! Always super fun to be out chillin in the West side! My Buddy was going to see this movie so I thought it would be cool to also check it out and I'm glad I did because it wasn't scary like I thought and I've been wanting to watch a scary movie and enjoyed it very much. I love the space of this theater Will definitely come back again and check out future movies

Yelp
My movie experiences at the Village are always memorably great. A classic theatre that looks brand new. There's a good chance you've seen a movie or TV show that was shot here. Quality everywhere you look. PS: The Bruin, though not quite as elaborate, is another old school movie theatre worth your time. These places are exceptional and deserve to be busy. Go and enjoy.

Yelp
This theater is awesome!!!!! Highly recommend. Seats were very comfortable. Staff was incredibly kind. The bathrooms were out of this world. And discounts for students!!

Yelp
The Regency Village movie theater is your old school single-screen movie theater with tons of seats. The site of many movie premieres, it is across the street from the Bruin theater in Westwood, and close to UCLA's campus. The iconic Fox spire still sits atop the theater. It is beautiful inside, and for me (not a sound-phile), no issues with sound or screening. Plus, the snack bar counter service (we ordered a lot) was very pleasant. We saw the new Dune there, and it was stunning. Enjoy!!

Yelp
Given how much time I've spent in Westwood, I'm a bit flabbergasted that my first time visiting this theater was this year! I checked out "Licorice Pizza" there recently, and I was reminded that driving and parking in Westwood can be a...challenge (definitely give yourself enough time to figure out where you're going to park or take public transportation or some other mode of transit to get there). However, once I entered the theater, I was charmed by the charming architecture and friendly employees. I love historic theaters, so being able to see a film in a place with so much character was part of the appeal. This is also a site for many film premieres, and I can remember the times the area would be cordoned off for screening arrivals (though I never afforded myself of any celebrity gawking). Given how much I enjoyed my initial visit, I can see myself returning in the future.

Yelp
What a beautiful theatre and experience! Went to watch Licorice Pizza and was so shocked with the detail and interior. Loved the vintage/old-school vibe. It is very clean and well-kept. This happens to be PTA's favorite theatre so it was only fitting to watch Licorice Pizza here and nowhere else!

Yelp
We've attended a couple of premieres at the Regency Village Theatre and each time had a ball! Our most recent one was for the premiere of Dolittle. We were treated to popcorns and soft drinks, and bottle of Dasani water to quench our thirst. Always an extra bonus when the production crew and actors are in attendance incl. Robert Downey Jr. -- it was a hoot & the crowd loved it when the Director and Downey Jr. came on stage before the screening began. There was an after-party set up on the side of the theater ie to photo ops m, red carpets, catered food & tables, etc. that was for the VIPs -- maybe we'll make the list some other time ;-) Parking is paid parking lots or metered street parking only.

Yelp
Favorite movie theater in Los Angeles - 70mm capabilities, a true cinematic experience. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Before the rise of the multiplex, there were beautiful theaters like the Village. The screen is massive, great for watching summer blockbuster movies like Spider-Man, and the THX sound is second-to-none. There's plenty of seating too, so if a movie is sold out at the AMC Century City, you'll be able to watch it here. There's even a balcony, which was seemingly more popular than the floor on our recent visit here. The sight lines are better here than at the Bruin across the street. Plus, the theater is sooooo big, that if someone sitting near you is being annoying by talking or has cloaked himself in some horrendous cologne, you can get up and switch seats. The only negative is that seats aren't quite as comfy as the newer high-backed seats at the amphitheater-style theaters. There is plenty of space though, so there's no danger of you accidentally kicking the head of the person in front of you. The first screening is a mere $11 (I can't believe I actually think this is cheap). Free 2 hour parking in the Broxton garage is available if you arrive before 5pm. With the length of movies these day plus trailers, you'll probably have to pay a little additional for parking ($1.50 for every 20 minutes). The parking lot across from the Broxton garage had $5 all-day parking so if you want to make a day of it, you can combine your movie with a meal at one of the many restaurants in Westwood like we did, and a dessert trip to either Diddy Riese or Stan's Donuts. On our way out, they were even giving out free bag of Flipz, those chocolate-covered pretzels! If they were trying to buy my love, it WORKED!

Yelp
Extremely disappointed in this theatre. I was at a premiere and fell down their staircase. We had asked for a wheelchair because we believed my ankle was broken. They had no wheelchair anywhere in the venue. Thankfully there were police officers who were there to help carry me out, otherwise I would have had to call 911 for an ambulance. While everyone was nice and helpful, the thing that would have helped me the most was would have been having a wheelchair!

Yelp
Definitely my new favorite theater! It's charm and decor is unlike any other movie theater around, and both the screen and audience are really large; I love that they have balcony seating. We saw Licorice Pizza on 70mm and it was great! They have typical concessions, and they even had a separate part of the building set up as a merch area for the film, decorated exactly like one of the scenes. I loved the whole experience we got here, and I can't wait to return. Parking is very limited with just street spots or a parking lot nearby for $4/hr, just as a heads up.
google avatar

Jaana S.

Yelp
Such a cool and beautiful and sick theater! It's the only theater I've been to in LA in fairness, but it is much nicer than the movie theater in my suburban hometown's mall next to the food court.
google avatar

Yelp
Two historic movie places next to each other. You can't beat the look, the feel and the charm of these theaters. It's the way life and going to the movies used to be. Can't wait for the next show. George Vreeland Hill

Yelp
The location is easy to get to, with plenty of parking nearby. The theater itself is beautiful and brings you back to the early days of Hollywood. Even though it's such a historic spot, the IMAX system brings it up to what you would expect from a modern theater, and was perfect. The screen was also bright and flawless. Concessions are typical popcorn, soda, hot dogs, pretzels, and candy (possibly a few other options). If you are hungry for more than concessions, I would suggest grabbing a bite before the show. The staff were friendly and attentive. A true gem in the movie theater world!

Yelp
the seat is awful and uncomfortable, it has nothing to cover your neck when you lie down.

Yelp
The Theater: Very nice theater located at UCLA campus town. Good sound system. Well maintained theater. Many restaurants and shops nearby. The Parking: Street metered parking (challenging!). Private parking lot (fee varies)

Yelp
Saw Licorice Pizza in 70mm, loved it. Sound and picture were great, didn't have any of the snacks or candy but the bathroom was clean and nice.

Yelp
Such an amazing theatre, beautiful place, the employees were so nice and professional. At the end of the movie we received some candies, and a big smile. I would definitely come back again, had a great time!!!

Yelp
I really like this theatre. It looks like a movie theater straight out from the 60's (or around there) but its what's inside that gets you going. Looks like a full on opera looking theatre that just makes you go DAYUM when you enter. Anyways, the pros and cons to this place are: Location: as far as students and most residents are concerned, this theater is at the heart of Westwood. It is relatively cheaper than other theaters if you have the student IDs because you get the student discounts. They also have discounts for vets (cannot confirm) I have heard. It surrounded by food places so you can always grab a quick bite before your showing if you're not up for that movie food. Which brings me to the second pro The food: while the popcorn and drinks are always expensive regardless of where you go, the hotdogs are decently big and fairly inexpensive given the whole idea that you're in a theater. They have a standard selection of condiments alongside some of the mayonnaise packets for your choosing. Which is cool since I look all the relish I can put inside that hotdog! Also pro tip: they have an option for a popcorn that cost around $10, its reusable and you get 1 FREE refill per movie for a year. So literally $10 for 1 years worth of popcorn. The bucket isnt that big so dont think it's some massive tub to feed a family of 5. But if it's just you or you and friend/spouse/whatever, then you're good! Definitely worth that 10 bucky! Cons: The seats: Not gonna lie, the seats arent the best things in this place. If you're a tad bit taller, it can be a problem and the seats and floor are almost always covered in garbage apparently. The popcorn: I've had popcorn 3 different times here. The first time it was way too salty. The second time...it was bland lol. Like even with the butter. The third time you think it's the charm! Nah fam, that popcorn tasted burnt lol. But you know how it is, it be like that sometimes. The customer service is accommodating and courteous and they host quite a few red carpet and screening events here too! Big bonuses!
google avatar

Bacong F.

Yelp
Experienced my first red carpet fan movie premiere for Ninjago. My daughter had a blast watching the movie. We also got a glimpse of all the actors walking through the red carpet into the theater. That was pretty cool. I didn't know most of the celebrities that was walking the carpet except for Jackie Chan. Lol! The movie was good.
google avatar

Ethan K.

Yelp
It's a great place to see new movies, because it's perfect for the fans of comic books, video games, Japanese anime, etc.
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
We came here the screening of the horror flick Orphan! It looks like a small theater from outside. But it's a classic. There is only one huge theater inside that seats about 1000 people including balcony seatings. The seatings are all numbered. I've never been here for a regular paid movie so I don't know if you get numbered seats as you buy the tickets. The theater is a classic. Also one of Los Angeles historic theater remaining. They kept it in good shape and the sound system was awwwwsome!
google avatar

Danielle S.

Yelp
I've seen multiple film premieres at this location. There's a reason the studios pick this theater for their big premiere events: massive screen, superior sound system, good seating (tall people don't obstruct your view). I have very fond memories of wonderful, momentous events here.
google avatar

Norma R.

Yelp
Attended the Annabelle world premiere and absolutely fell in love with this theatre! The theatre is huge, and you get a great view no matter where you sit. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the theatre itself is very nice and clean, even the bathrooms were immaculate. We already had concessions waiting for us at our seats due to the premiere, so I wasn't able to try anything else other than the popcorn from the concession stand but they were very good! As the previous reviews have stated, there are a lot of premieres at this theatre and I was lucky enough to score tickets to this one so I was able to get on the red carpet with the actors, but anyone passing by can watch them on the red carpet, I would def recommend getting tickets to a premiere though so you can experience the theatre!
google avatar

Andrew G.

Yelp
So I'm bored and felt like going to see a movie and I get to the theater and I asked how much is a movie ticket an the young girl said 11$ Student 13$Regular , I was like dang there is a 2$ difference & I didn't even try asking to " hook me up " she clearly said " I'm not going to Lose my job just because you want to pay the extra $2.50 " I normally don't get upset over Stupidity but this was beyond ( Unsatisfactory Customer Service )
google avatar

Matt H.

Yelp
Great theater, great seating, great sound. The movie went grainy for a minute while we were watching, which...I mean, it's digital. So somehow it was a bandwidth issue? And the air conditioning is So Loud that it's hard to understand dialogue sometimes. I saw A Quiet Place II and it was more like a mildly noisy place. Still, better than Netflix!
google avatar

Steve W.

Yelp
So nice to see one of the last expansive, vintage movie houses still going strong. This is where you go for a truly immersive filmgoing experience. I've seen several films here, including premieres, and all I can say is it's 'grand'. A beautiful lobby, comfy seats, a fun balcony, quality popcorn-- this has all the same wonderful attributes of a classic theater that sadly is rare to find. Definitely worth seeking out. Plus it's fun to walk around the Westwood area. Parking may be hard to find and expensive, due in part to nearby UCLA. But make a day of it, have a meal before or after at one of many interesting eateries.
google avatar

Christina M.

Yelp
THEY HAVE RATS! Came here for a movie premiere and there was a critter running around in the balcony. When we informed the employees, they seemed unfazed, this is obviously a regular occurrence. Decent theater, but not coming back until they take care of that.

Brett G.

Yelp
The younger, hispanic manager has no client relationship awareness. He put money first, and human interaction second. Based on my encounter with the staff here, I will not be coming back. It's a shame to have such a beautiful cinema, and such unkind staff. (Also watch out for the homeless who sleep in the shade of the entrance yawning)

Nanea R.

Yelp
Came to see a movie and by mistake bought 4 tickets for another day. The men at the door were very nice and tried to convince the cashier named Garcia let us in. Especially since only two of us were able to attend. She was very unpleasant and didn't accommodate comping us under the circumstances. Hence, we paid $90 to see the movie which ultimately would have been okay as we understand that we made a mistake. However, there is no excuse for rudeness-- especially during the holidays.

Yelp
As an old soul, this theatre truly hit the spot. I immediately fell in love with both theatres across from each other. And as my schedule in LA would have it, I had just enough time on my last day to watch the first movie showing and as though it was mean to be, the movie I was hoping to watch, The Great Oz, was showing on that day. Looks like an angel was with me on my last day in LA ;) http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/regency-village-theatre-westwood?select=O8NmyOwUi3mCwkooFkjuOA#d3nDdPTwXLmBjP0C6NXNyQ I love how (whomever it /they was/were) maintained the beauty of this theatre and kept many of the charm it had when it was first opened. I eagerly waited for the theatre to open just right before the film started and was greeted by a friendly staff member at the concession stand. Then headed to the ladies room as I knew this movie was going to be long and I wanted to see the entire film. When I walked in the ladies room I felt like I was taken back several decades as there was a lounge/powder room that then lead into the bathroom stalls. The lounge was decorated with famous film stills from classic movies like Casablanca and Gone with the Wind. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/regency-village-theatre-westwood?select=O8NmyOwUi3mCwkooFkjuOA#O8NmyOwUi3mCwkooFkjuOA http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/regency-village-theatre-westwood?select=O8NmyOwUi3mCwkooFkjuOA#iOzCY60mS5lcGefrBX2Qcw http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/regency-village-theatre-westwood?select=O8NmyOwUi3mCwkooFkjuOA#2M765roBUR-nYrAWSUd8Mw http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/regency-village-theatre-westwood?select=O8NmyOwUi3mCwkooFkjuOA#TuXJ38cWg7x5y5AFY16TwQ Inside the theatre I wanted to check out the balcony area and I was just stunned at the beauty it still held. It was gorgeous! I was first greeted by another lounge area just outside the balcony curtains. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/regency-village-theatre-westwood?select=O8NmyOwUi3mCwkooFkjuOA#9fq57VhqypbU-FTWYDY5Iw http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/regency-village-theatre-westwood?select=O8NmyOwUi3mCwkooFkjuOA#W-Y6xpZoQG1eUhiKGjABMA My entire experience here was wonderful. I absolutely enjoyed experiencing a theatre that still captures the beauty and artistic wonder of film and this was the perfect place to enjoy it. I sure hope they keep these two theatres and maintain them because they are treasures from the past that deserve to stay in our present for many years to come!

Yelp
Discount tickets! Jackpot. Cheap concessions? Jackpot!! My favorite spot to watch a movie in Los Angeles due location, price, history, and kind staff members. It rarely sells out because it's so large. You won't be selling yourself short on the quality of the picture or the surround sound, but the one downside is the lack of stadium-seating. Personally, I have the tall-guy advantage, but if I go with my 5'3 significant other, at times it can be a different story. One time we had to move when a tall person sat in front of her, but there were a billion other open seats because the place is huge. #Americanproblems. In short though: if you want to stretch out, eat gourmet food, and drink cocktails: iPic is less than a mile away. But if you want the authentic old school American moviegoer experience with buttery popcorn, dollar Hotdogs (yes, that's right), icee's, soda, and great movies: look no further!

Yelp
Came here for the movie premiere of THE GRIMSBY BROTHERS. A super good movie, very funny. This theatre is a little on the older side I think, but looks great, clean, great sound, etc. We got free popcorn and soda. Been here a few times in the past as well. Parking on the night of movie premiere is $20 in nearby lots so be warned. Otherwise, a good place to catch a movie. They only have one screen.
google avatar

Haylee M.

Yelp
They seem to only screen one movie at a time, but that theater hall is massive! It looks quite exquisite, and even has a balcony on the top. They also have a decent selection of snacks, popcorn, even caramel popcorn. That just stole the show for me, coz I love caramel popcorn and sadly most other theaters don't have it. You can also book tickets on the Atom app here, so that opportunity for discounts is a bonus!
google avatar

Arie K.

Yelp
Fun theater with rotating movies (they only show one at a time, but it's usually the best flick out). We watched Black Panther last night here and I'm glad we did! Optimum sound experience. Seats could be better but they've also got the worn-in feel which is somehow, oddly comforting. Not sure if there's a bad seat in the theater.. except for maybe the first row or something. Large popcorn w/ 1 refill is $7, which I think is cheaper than the options at AMC/Edwards/Harkins. Concessions staff were busy but still effective and had good customer service!
google avatar

Thomas K.

Yelp
Best theater in Los Angeles. I worked there as a projectionist for a few years. Huge screen, Dolby Atmos and not a bad seat in the house. Go out of your way to see a good movie here. . . . the only problem is they don't have projectionists anymore. So if something goes wrong, it's not getting fixed.
google avatar

Frank N.

Yelp
So I've been past this theatre a few times never been and just happened to like the showing time for the movie I wanted to there. It's an older classic theatre with the outdoor box office and everything. We took an Uber because there's no free parking over there and there are a lot of bars and restaurants nearby so the metered street parking is hard to come by as well. There is a paid lot if you don't mind paying. When you walk in you actually purchase or show your tickets at the concession stand and it's a single theatre. The sound is actually pretty amazing in there and all the seating is pretty low. It's a really cool throwback feel and a really beautiful theatre in general. If there's a movie you want to see and it's showing there I'd recommend it.
google avatar

Lin L.

Yelp
DO NOT SEE 70mm DUNKIRK HERE. This cinema does not have a qualified projectionist to project it properly. During the 7.30pm screening on July 20th for Dunkirk, first it was the sound that went on and off. Then they tried to fix it for 5 mins and failed, but went ahead with the screening anyway. And then the film got stuck so the screening had to be stopped. After 20 mins they finally figured out how to do it but they already ruined the beginning and they didn't even think of starting it over from the beginning to give a better overall viewing. During and after the incident, not a single staff or the management came forward to explain the situation and apologise on behalf of the cinema or offer any kind of compensation to the audience. Two things I want to point out: 1. If you don't usually project 70mm film, you should test before your shows, not during your first show; 2.Your audience did not get the intended experience the filmmakers wanted them to have because of your incompetence, you should apologise and compensate as much as you can, not dismiss audience's requests

Yelp
This theater is HUGE! The staff is friendly, the seats are comfortable and overall I highly recommend the movie experience here. So many premieres are held at this theater which means lots of star sightings as well. If you have the chance, go to a premiere here! It is beyond worth it!

Yelp
Discounted ticket prices for college students. You can't beat this price anywhere else! (Unless you are watching a movie in the morning at an AMC--but then again, who does that?) Located right at the (real) heart of Westwood, next to Diddy Reese, Stan's Donuts, and Starbucks (of course), the iconic tower (I'm not sure what it is) will tell you where this place is from miles away (or from just walking down the hill from the apartments). I've watched plenty of movies here with my friends: I remember the first one being Star Trek 2. The thing about these movie theaters in Westwood is that each one plays only one movie title for a few weeks or so. So you have about 2-3 movie choices to choose from on a particular evening at least in Westwood. The inside is huge, however. Definitely not your regular AMC theatre. This theatre also hosts some of those movie premiers as well; perhaps next time you can catch your favorite actor/actress, although be prepared to stand a long, long time.
