Regent Beijing

"This glass-fronted high-rise is a 15-minute walk from Tiananmen Square. Interiors meld classic and contemporary styles, and the spacious rooms are decorated with Chinese art, large windows for views of the Forbidden City, and soaking tubs. Daccapo's Italian fare is an alternative to the modern Asian cuisine at Jinbao 99."

"Beijing is placing big bets on the future, with a wealth of high-profile building projects — Herzog & de Meuron’s Olympic Stadium and the Rem Koolhaas-designed CCTV tower, a new mammoth airport terminal by Norman Foster, and many more. And in advance of the expected surge in travel demand, some big hotel projects have opened as well, including this one, the 500-room Regent Beijing." - Tablet Hotels

A fantastic stay! Location is close to a lot of major tourist sites and in an easy to find, safe area. The service is very good throughout the hotel. Breakfast buffet was also varied and had both western and chinese options, with vegetarian options as well. Overall, most staff speak enough English that there were no major difficulties and we found them to be very eager to help. We particularly enjoyed the on-site Italian restaurant with good quality food and service. The rooms are very well maintained and up to the standard of a typical 5 star hotel. The location is also very convenient for the metro, which has station right next to the hotel entrance.

I stayed at the Regent Beijing with my family and our two children, and it was an outstanding experience. The food was absolutely excellent – authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. The service from the staff in the rooms was consistently attentive, professional, and warm. We also appreciated the support and assistance throughout the hotel, which made everything effortless for us. As a family, we especially enjoyed the pool, which was a real highlight for the kids and a great way to relax after exploring the city. Overall, a perfect stay – highly recommended for both families and individual travelers! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Probably one of the best locations as a base for travelling around Beijing. We always stay here, 3rd time this year. Super service, breakfast. Starbucks next door, tons of restaurants and shops around - all within 7-10minutes walking distance. No need taxi nor metro to explore neighbour. Try hotel swimming pool in the morning (opens at 6.30am) - super refreshing day's start.

The concierge is super helpful. They removed several issues for me. The lobby is pretty nice. They had a piano player who played in the lobby, which was also nice. There is an egg and scallion fried dumpling that is like nothing I've had in the US. I recommend getting the included breakfast. It's your typical amazing Asian hotel breakfast.

Concierge service was exceptional. The breakfast was also very good. On one occasion, the server did not understand me at the buffet. I was shocked but impressed that someone came to my table to see what I was trying to say. The location is also great—you can walk to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. The decor is superb.

I stayed with my whole family at the Regent and we loved it. 4 persons stayed at the family suite and it was amazing, the shared are between the 2 rooms is large and comfortable. The breakfast is one of the best I had in a hotel. We also tried one of their restaurants for dinner and the food was delicious. The reception staff was very attentive and helped us much. We were very happy with the overall experience. We would like to come back again.

I think the check-in experience was excellent. The hotel is very beautiful, the front desk staff are very enthusiastic, and the location is also great. Every staff member here is full of enthusiasm. I will stay here again when I come to China next time.

Great hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The family suite was very comfortable for us. The location was great. The only problem with the location was it was so close to Tian’anmen and the forbidden city, summer palace. It was difficult to get a taxi to bring us back because the distance was too short and the taxis would get stuck in traffic. Be careful to arrange transportation to and from those areas. Three public taxi drivers quoted me 100rmb off the meter to travel from forbidden city back to the hotel. That said, the location was perfect for everything else. The shopping options were abundant!
